Vijayk, the study you quote has been seriously questioned if not debunked a couple of days ago, IIRC there was a TOI article on this. As per French Govt advisory they identified just 2 strains, L & S. S being more virulent.

Lots of villages in AP have put unofficial roadblocks with tree trunks and thorny bushes to prevent outsiders from entering. Village vigilante youth are manning these 24x7. So France testing to positive rate is 20 %. As on 27th, india has tested approx 28000 samples and have approx 700 positives. So that is 2.5%. I am wondering why? We are actually testing high risk group like direct contacts. This again might be due to our general resilience towards flu like viruses....

After some persistent digging, I found that French public health department publishes a very detailed weekly report on Covid-19. The last published report is from 24th March. Next one on 31st March.
