We already have adequate Pilatus. IAF is flying them for less than 200 hours per annum, why can this utilization rate be not increased till HTT-40 is more mature?

Google Chacha seems to indicate that DRDO QRSAM has similar rocket motor like LRSAM. So my guess is that DRDO QRSAM might look like LRSAM ie Barak-2 with a faster propellant coupled with Astra front end. The radar can be derived from Rajendra/CAR/TCR combo or from AESA MMSR.

ALH has a cabin almost the size of S-92 due to ALH advanced design. If we put in 1200-1300kw engines instead of present 1000kw engines, then 8-9ton MTOW helo which will be adequate for 90% of Naval purposes. In the meanwhile we can develop IMRH.

As per ISRO report they already seems to have started on 4-6k bus, which means a 7ton satellite to GTO. Our heavy lift capacity is seriously lagging. My guess is that earliest commercial launches of 7 ton satellites to GTO by ISRO is still 10 years away(?)

Akash missile has bigger foot print, longer range and 3 times cheaper missile than Spyder. But this requirement of seeker and reaction time has been created just like cabin height requirement for Agusta was created.

Even though HAL is manufacturing SCB for Su-30MKI, it is possible that HAL is not able to replicate the process for Kaveri Engine as the "Raw Material" would be coming from Russia and HAL may not be able to replicate the exact composition of the alloy to make the crystal grow.

See below image where i have tried to randomly used a location which covers all our east and west border + Delhi and by 4 S-400 with 400 Km radius we can cover both fronts with 1 for spare...

Soviet invasion of Afghanistan collapsed as USA/Pak supplied Manpads to guerillas while Soviets did not return the favor in Baluchistan. It seems Putin may not make the same mistake. Firing Manpads is a non trivial task and requires lot of training. So PKK may be getting lot of professional help.

I think we should have tried to copy Mirage 2000 but tried to leapfrog with LCA. The lesson therefore is to evolve LCA and Suz-30MKI and not to go for totally new super costly products.
