This is the kind of socio-economic situation that leads to revolutions in the turdworld; how come amreeka is immune? Very efficient brainwashing of the populace by the robber-barons, media vultures and gobarmound? http://www.businessinsider.com/what-wall-street-protesters-are-so-angry-about-2011-10?...

Infact, My idea was to get the shadow on the wall. I'll try to take one without the shadow too. IIRC, in general, the viewer's eyes are first drawn to midtones and brighter areas. So the use of shadow to accentuate the 'atmosphere' must be done carefully; often it can 'crush' and overpower the rest...

Saar, for macro, just lens to manual focus, move the barrel to 1:1 magnification position (or whatever is desired) and then find focus by moving the camera, not turning the lens.
Essentially you have to sway back and forth until you get focus.

Ah yes, with a manual lens, you won't be able to use p-ttl. May not be a bad thing since after a bit of trial & error, you should be able to set the 'correct' flash output for an exposure given by the camera, and you'll be able to guesstimate the right output even for newer situations. Anyway, t...
