What happened to Shankarji? He complained about the access problem, and didn't see him around :?: Is the access problem still exist? Or did George Achayan kill his creative spirit? :(

Religion? What religion? This is history and epics guys. We Indians waged wars and described them with such imageries. What is wrong with that?

I agree you need a little background on the epics to get the imageries, but isn't that part of the culture?

YIP Ji, Shathakoti Pranaamam. Very nicely put. There is enough stuff for another Veda Vyaasa to write on, and this one reminds me of several epic war narrations.

the parliament has now formally declared war on Pakistan
Moron's question: Won't this discussion happen before the formal war declaration? I thought the formal declaration happens just before the force crosses the line.

Didn't these incidents happen in 2008?. The Brahmaputra was sank on 4th March, 2008 according to Singha. The Jamnagar incident happened AFTER the Brahmaputra/Khalid incident. Also, all these happened after the Madame rescue, which again happened in 2008. Since Kareen Khan got pissed off on loss of K...

22:00PST October 23, 2008 Rawalpindi Jalal-ur-Rahman Junaid Rauf had a very busy day, yet he had several hours of work left. The internet connection in Pakistan was terrible, averaging only around 5 kbps. Considering the size of the images and music he is uploading, that would take many hours. And t...

2. IAF would have scrambled long before the Falcons crossed the IB. You want to keep them far way from the IB. A 6 ship Viper flight taking off from a forward air-base is a significant threat Look at the times. TFTA takes off at 5:30PST/6:00IST from Hide'r'bad, and the CAP order and scramble order ...

Not sure if this is the right place for this. The question is, I am sure it would not be difficult to jam GPS signals. But won't it be possible to spoof them so that a carefully used multi transmitter spoofer can throw the whole system haywire at a specific location? Also, I was wondering if it is p...

Georgeji, this is not the right forum to discuss semantics, and I don't claim linguistics expertise. My point is, it is a widespread misconception that you take in more water, you sink deeper. Taught or learned, the idea is incorrect. Agree?

atleast this is what cbse physics taught me
Well, to be precise, that is what you learned, which is unfortunately not correct.

More weight will help to submerge slightly faster, because it will help countering the hydrodynamic drag. It does not limit the depth to which it submerges.

so the diving depth also has to do with the capacity of the ballast tank and how much water it can take in which also determines the maximum diving depth of the submarine. Pardon my ignorance, but is it not true that once submerged, changing ballast has not much effect on the max depth? Adding more...

JSF-Raptor Radar Can Fry Enemy Sensors
I would imagine fry would be exaggeration. Would it be possible to focus so much energy into a receiver from a flying ac to cause physical damage? Aren't the input stages protected against diplexer failures?

My gut tells me that this maglev thingy is a cover for a high-end nuclear tech purchase that has to be off the books.
And some high-tech stuff can also be purchased for the namesake!

Scary man! Scary! Is it a desperate effort to loose the nook-nood situation? Have the cake and eat it too?

Mutual funds are subject to long term/short term capital gains. The MF company deducts it at source. NRO A/c interest is taxed, and you will get TDS. RE A/Cs are not taxed. CITIBANK does not deduct tax, but will give you 1099. I don't think India based banks does that. Most people I know, just keeps...

I would imagine the TATRAS to be cooler than a tank, but hotter than a troop movement vehicle. Its visibility in IR does not create a huge difference IMO, because everything else, including troops tents, will be visible as well. Security is a major concern. The SATIs reportedly have a self destruct ...

The printing may be only for record keeping or for any other purposes like for other small field formations without large-scale screens, small platoon of Special Forces taking a paper copy with them or something like that.
I wonder why do you need a whole seperate TATRA for that?

They used a silk screen to divide the photo into dots, and the chemical etching created dots that vary in size according to the shade of grey in the original image. In general the ter...
