Re: Indian Railways Thread (Dec 2015)
This Bangalore hassan route was subject to truck and private bus Mafia too. The gas trucks from MRPL and Bangalore -Mangalore private buses will be hit with this route and everything was done to delay this project. Dont know why but there is aversion to rail projects in KN state: 1.)Maximum stretch...

Re: Currency Demonetisation and Future course of Indian Economy
My stash of 5000 withdrawn last month has come to an end. 4000 gone in cloth shopping, 100s gone Mainly due to eating momos and the laundry guy. Never stood in an ATM Queue post nov-8 nor intend to. Will have to withdraw this week. Dad learnt to use paytm and is able to recharge his and moms mobile ...

Re: Currency Demonetisation and Future course of Indian Economy
One of the biggest energy source of 10J for winning elections was KNPP i.e Karachi Nakli-note Printing Press. . With a nice big modi-rating rod shoved through the core and it undergoing a crore meltdown with heavy water supply (500 and 1000) effectively stopped, chances of 10J making a comeback seem...

Re: Currency Demonetisation and Future course of Indian Economy
I feel 500 is a mirage or just a rafale to be acquired in very limited numbers. Limit of 2000 is also to discourage people from using cash. Even after dec 30 I feel limit of 2000 at ATM would be enforced but with 100s and 50s. My speculation is like 500, flow of 2000 would be gradually reduced by ne...

Re: Currency Demonetisation and Future course of Indian Economy
Did my share of maintaining liquidity in market by spending 2 mangalyaan in commercial street this weekend. :) Wallet kind of looked empty after that with few 10s and a loner 100 and few change and debit card. Was relieved on disposing 2K off. I am sure people will think 2000 times before hoarding t...

I am not able to figure why these worthies born during pre ww2 are still hanging around in public life:
Manmohan Singh born in 1932
LK Advani born in 1927
Sartaj Aziz born in 1929
Motilal Vohra born in 1928
Ram Jethmalani born in 1923
what is it that they want to see?

Withdrew 5000 using cheque yesterday. As expected got 100 * 10 and 2 mangalyaan. Person in front used full quota of 24000. Another person withdrawing 24k protested about too many mangalyaan and requested 100 and 50s. Teller politely replied about having to ration 100s for the entire day. Since havin...

This is going to be the biggest test for Modi. Most of the crowds are touts/agents who are being used by BM people and even bankers. Mama,Kujli and all PRESSTITUTE gangs are in the front demonizing him. I only pray for this crisis to be blown over. People just need to be patient till dec30 and be i...

Imagine all that during combat ! Crazy a.s amount of work has gone into designing that stuff. Objective ? For a sum total of 250 hp to drive pumps and dynamo ???! Will not that thing consume feul to run and bring down the combat radius? Sacrificing combat radius for hydraulic power. The way it is g...

Re: Indian Single Engined Multi Role Fighter with Transfer of Manufacturing Technology
I think it is good news that boeing likes to set up factory on the lines of LM. I am for everyone who wants to set up factory in India with only rider that partnership should NOT be with HAL or any other Navratna korma DPSU. Most important thing is time-boxed filling up of squadron numbers in IAF an...

>>>LCA for it to reach 120 will need engines. No order for engines has been placed till now.
Probably things are going well with kaveri, along with french assistance might be nearing f404 thrust levels.

Would there be a mk-2 considering the status of f414 as seen few posts before? I think mk1 and mk-1a would be the only two variants with 6 squadrons with mk-1a being co-produced with gripen -E in the same shed.

Re: Indian Railways Thread (Dec 2015)
I was waiting for the Kanyakumari Express (old Island Express) to come up at a station in KL. Before this train there is the Guwahati-Tvm express, and like you said the station was a mini West Bengal-Orissa-Assam at that time. Was standing next to an RPF PC, and I overheard the wireless messages. R...

Oh man...they cant seem to make up their mind. Would be Interesting to see the reason why they abanded the arch after so much studies. Hope they dont change their mind again and decide on a steel bridge. K J george expertise might come in handy.

Re: IAF Rafale News and Discussions - 26 May 2015
............... So then we'll have: Tejas, PAKFA, AMCA, Su-30 MKI, AMCA, Rafale, another MMRCA type In short, we should buy more Rafales (even if trickle feed, say 18 airframes every 3 years), push for Tejas Mk2 and AMCA, get more FGFA with a bigger service & spares agreement upfront, and upgra...
