I suspect that PAF might sneak up to or release their bombs from their own airspace at some empty field and than claim equal equal. In that case, they may think that since no damage was done to India or Indians there won’t be a retaliation. The other face saving avenue i can think off is intense hos...

I can’t understand the math here. F404-IN20 provides 19,000lb of thrust while the f414-INS6 is rated at 22,000lb. For additional 3000lb of thrust they are talking about adding additional ~7000lb of payload, significantly higher (at least a few thousand lbs) fuel to increase endurance/range, enlargin...

Not false at all.Jared Keller's report 20/2/19 taskandpurpose.com quoting a Bloomberg News report. Read it for yourself. Yes the IAF will be crazy to buy the Rafale at over $200+M a pop when for $40M you could get a MIG-29/35 and other western fighters for about $70+M.You could even get 3 SU-30MKIs...

They all play the same game....Mig 29 to Mig 29UPG, Mig 29SMT, Mig 29K, Mig 35, Mig 35MKI and Mig 41. Old wine in new bottle.

IAF will be crazy to buy anything else but Rafale, just does not make any sense to keep adding different type of aircraft from all over the place.
