BTW, ALL nations use "debt" to finance. So do corporations. Even when they have tons of cash in reserve. I recall the days when the US stocks were charging, H1ers used to borrow on their credit cards and invest in the stock market. They invariably made more than what they owed. Well said....

I have an odd theory based on observation of my students. The three ethnic groups that do best in an innate sense for pure and abstract maths, complexity in music, are Indians, Russians and the Germanic.
