Re: Indian Missiles and Munitions Discussion

Hmmm interesting

Edit:- Dr. Saraswat's view
“I would say the Shaurya is a hybrid propulsion missile”, says Dr Saraswat. “Like a ballistic missile, it is powered by solid fuel. And, like a cruise missile, it can guide itself right up to the target.”

With an 88% "kill probability'', it can even take on sub-sonic cruise missiles.

Re: LCA news and discussion

CM, how is it different from say, the siva pod ? I think the Spectra/khbiny allows for tracking and engaging A2A targets as well. The SIVA iirc, is primarily to guide A2G munitions like the KH-31. Also, the spectra is internal and the Khbiny might be wingtip mounted (not sure) unlike the SIVA. CM. ...

The IAF seems t be very serious about a 100% Indian NGFA even if it wouldn't be a pure 5th gen a/c. It wants a pure 5th gen aircraft As per official documentation by the IAF, it wants the MCA to be a twin-pilot configured multirole stealth aircraft capable of "close air support, all weather in...

Why is our weapons program so transparent??i.e., why the GOI doesnt build our defence forces in a secretive manner the way Chinese does..
Simple, because we are a democracy.
