Targeting a particular civilian ship isn't very difficult for a drone if it has the range. Every ship has an AIS transponder that advertises its location. Homing in on the AIS signal shouldn't be too hard.

I feel that the Dravida thing is hollow. While there is quite a bit of caste tension, the (Hindu) Tams I know are quite religious. I don't think anybody has called the bluff and offered an alternative. Hoping that Annamalai is able to do that.

The original M46 had a problem with elevation - I think it has a max elevation of only 45 degrees or so. Not sure if Sharang upgrade has fixed it or if it retains this issue. This would create problems in mountainous regions where you need to clear high ridge lines and hit the leeward side.
