This press briefing is a symptom which exposes lack of faith and self respect this nation has. Despite earlier MoD statements, IAF showcase of AMRAAM, Defense ministers statements we still doubt it.

Re: MiG-21 Bison shoots down F-16 in Kashmir
Going through the reports I think there was a small tactical mistake from the IAF after AMRAAM launches and Abhinandan engaging the F-16. At this point the other Mig 21 Bison or Su30, should have launched R-77 s at D1 max at the other F16's who would have dispersed and not got a lock on his Mig 21....

@swamy39 Subramaniam Swamy is saying that we shot down satellite which was being used by Pakistan for its air-defence. CFTs are strap on, and cannot be jettisoned away.

Complete airspace is shutdown on Porki side, not a single commercial plane in air. That's called dhoti shivering.
IAF ATC, and other fighters in air during IAF/PAF dogfight must have had full picture of what actually happened. It won't be long before more details will emerge.

Media silence from MoD, or GoI is counterproductive. In absence of light, darkness will prevail.
