Thanks Anujan for a great post. But the problem is A Roy is a comminist like stalin or Mao. She can not say it openly because she will not get any recognishan in foren white media as an activist. So she has say all the crap and support things in a round about way in which no one can understand. They...

Our weakness has already started showing. We have traded prisoner even before the battle for the freedom of these communist infested areas seriously started. Given freedom our police and paraforces could have free the policemen kidnapped.

Unless we really search we will not find anything about India in any history site. For example our contribution to the kingdoms in the asean area. Hardly anything known about out links with them and how they all became hindu (later Buddist) kingdoms. What is that process Who took our legends our god...

I do not think we are giving clear orders to the security agencies to hunt and kill these people. Once we made out mind to eliminate these people there shall not be any turining back. I do not foresee any problem if we want to locate and kill Kishanji alias Koteswar Rao

One problem to have a nuclear powered Aircraft Carrier may be fuel and also cost. I do not know it the cost may be same. We are not planning to send our ADS to rule 7 seas. Nimitz is a lot bigger and 2 Arihant nuclear reactors may be sufficient. Any one with any other ideas on the subject.

Agreed money flow can not be stopped fully. But it can be cut drastically by resolute action. Running a war even a gorrilla war is a costly one. It will deminish their power and may give some opening to the Intel people to infilitrate etc. Every bit of action in every possible area which is helpful ...

When some one told me that Andhra Jyothi news paper is pro naxals I have not belived that a news paper with huge circulation can be that stupid. This is not desirable. They should kick start production of LCA using F 404 IN in interceptor role, atleast till our honeymoon with unkil lasts. Then we are already working (buying) new 95-100 Kn engine and then Kaveri is not dumped. One day or other, believe me or not, it will fly one of the IAF's...

Upsurge in Naxal activities can not be looked in an isolation. China started to make lot of sound on Arunachal Pradesh. We can do many things if we have will. IAF is acting as if they have no resposibility towards production of a world class fighter. We have many over ground people around openly supporting Naxals. can't we take any action on them. I am sure there are provisions in the law. This is an indication of the things to come. US will leave Afghan soil soon and leave Pakis defacto power there. I think starting a production line for LCA Mk1 will be useful in many aspects. Increase confidence of the people in volved, good interceptor at least for point defence and can go into pak any day in offencie role if needed with reasonable chance. Can be used for traning, giving us much needed no's e...

Why do you think so? China would quickly replace their outdated fighters with J-10s. Agreed, tejas even with ge-f404 is a worthy figher, but it I guess IAF has to think of distant future too. They apparently find it prudent to sacrifice a couple of years to get a much better fighter. But this has b...

We have to understand that there is no Indian Army before our republic is born. What we had is a merce force who fought for money and even are ready to kill our own people which they did. So let us not glorify anything before 1950 (1947 )

Basically we will be up agaisnt 3rd Gen Mig 21 derivaties most of the time in future. Can't we have more LCA Mk1 which I feel more than suitable to provide point defence and also some limited air to ground capability. We do not need tons of bombs when you can hit with pin point accuracy right ?
