Re: India-China News and Discussions
Newcomers are missing the point that while PRC may have taken over Tibet...but India also gained Sikkim, NEFA(absorbed into India) and Bhutan, Nepal (Buffer states) since the 1950s. Independence in 1947 was a momentous occasion for the Indic civilization. The significance of independence in 1947 is...

because that is the only way western civilization can survive and improve. without an enemy for existensial threat. they simpley whither away. A part of Indian media itself is controlled by west.Dont want to name them for some reason. While keeping the media aside,a majority of the politicians and e...

that is why i keep thinking that all these deals are for india buying peace for the required economic growth. the western world would be happy to see india go to war. there were suggestions in this forum that 26/11 could be such an attempt by the west itself.

Re: Pokhran II not fully successful: Scientist
i think india, all along, is ok with the deterrance give by the fission warhead. this was the only warhead tested in 1998. the tests were carried out under the assumption that CTBT would come into force soon after. i think india did not have any capability to make any other kind of warhead then. all...

india has been peeing on the NWS for a long time. they did not care as we did not matter to them. the only way for west to make money is by selling hi-tech stuff. there is no other country in the world that need it in the scale as india nor can assimilate it like india. just imagine the amount of hi...

i have a romanian colleague at work who keeps telling me during lunch discussions about how lucky we are to be learning english and that is due to the british rule. my reply to him always is very straight forward. the british plundered us for 100s of years and left us with english and it is not a co...

Re: India Nuclear News And Discussion
NPAs have accepted a nuclear india. as mentioned in this forum before, the rise of india is an extremely destabilizing factor. i might be way off here. IUCNA is to give india the technology to avoid conflict and get more people out of poverty. in a very overarching way, peace could be the prize extr...

Re: Modeling Geostrategic Dynamics for the Indian Subcontinent
Following on from above, anything within modern democratic political practice that India can do goes in favour of this Pakistani agenda. If India concedes, and allows increasing self-assertion, immunity and power to "Muslims" as distinct "Islamic" identity and source of politica...

indians selling gold is bad news. india has the worlds second largest accumulation of gold (including private holdings). this is the envy of the world from roman times. indian gold coffers were successfully emptied once by the western world during the british rule. they might try to do it again this...

PM is addressing the nation at 7pm. it is one thing for maino, HM, Advani, and MOS types talking. it is a completely different ballgame when the PM talks. my wishful thinking -- he declares war with TSP and our cold start is put to real use. if IN chases this rogue vessel into TSP waters, then it is...

our existing weapons capability has been acknowledged and we are keeping it. that itself is a big win. 50/100 - fission/fusion - modern/old --- does not matter. it will still explode. that, IMHO, is the most important thing. this forum itself has agreed that the next 25 years is the most important p...
