Re: Oil & Natural Gas: News & Discussion

^^ If US is finally drilling more oil then what use are all these ME abduls to them? The US needs to keep the price of oil low. The US does not depend on exporting oil to other countries to prop up its economy. Their number one enemy in terms of economic impact is rapidly rising inflation and oil p...

Because if Trump asks other nations such as China or Japan to pay or put up force protection, US will cede influence. He is being short sighted in the fact that yes US will not have to pay but will cede its sphere of influence once other nations start paying. Other nations were happy and content to ...

There's nothing to 'be fooled by' in cold storage statistics. It's a piece of data, that is all. JIT requires greater and more expensive logistics infrastructure, and does not necessarily indicate a better system. The US also extensively obtains produce that is prior to full ripeness and artificial...

If a country export more manufactured goods than import manufacturing goods, it indicates stronger manufacturing base. If it imports more, it indicates that it...

Re Cold storage, don't be fooled by the fact that India is the largest in cold storage and US and China ranks behind India. China and US have honed JIT (Just in Time) warehousing to a high degree of efficiency that it lessened the need for more cold storage. A better usage of metric would be combina...

Very little of any airline fuselage remaining shows that the plane hit the ground at a very high velocity. This mean that the pilots have lost control completely over the plane and it probably nosedived with no chance of recovery.

Why are we paying $3 billion dollars for a ten year lease of a nuke sub? We should be buying it not leasing for that kind of money. It's a nuclear sub and not for sale. Very nice. I like the design. Is it central ACed or do you use room AC units to cool each room individually? Have you ever done energy efficient design analysis for your house?

Asgkhan, I’m curious about your house. If you have any pictures to share that would be great. One thing has always puzzled me. Why do most houses in India have flat roofs? Standing water would cause buildup of mold and seepage into the roof weakening the structural supports. Why not used sloped roof...

About the MiG-21 firing the missile and getting caught in the wake turbulence which led to the engine flameout, does this mean that every time a MiG-21 Bison fires a missile, it runs the risk of getting caught in the missile wake?
