Plenty of designs available it is lack of $$ that is holding it up, keep in mind it is not just procurement cost for LPD it is also up keep costs and procuring items like helicopters.

You talking about Kumano it is supposed to be commissioned on 2022. Nilgiri is about 4-5 years if things work out.

Yea brar_w my point of comparing it to Canada order is how much it could us if we were to by similar amount of AIM-120d to integrate with our platform, due to cost I doubt we would any more than what Canada order and it is reminiscent of our Derby order.

Pilotless target aircraft at the medium range & medium altitude

Medium altitude seems to imply QRSAM has ability to hit targets above 10km (medium altitude is typically 15km) early some reports put a max ceiling of 6km must be to dismiss that without fully revealing its capability.
