so lets assume the F16 line is set up in India. How long will it be in operation? how much capital will it soak up? what else could have been done with that kind of capacity? My guess - 90 ordered, delivered between 2020 and 2026, costing $10-12 bn. What else could have been done with that capital?...

a very basic question: how many aircrafts in an IAF squadron. Wiki has a wide range of 12-24. on BRF I have been reading numbers e.g. 16-20. Does it also vary across different fighter aircrafts or helicopters.
