An imaginary box can be calculated around the target based on range and angular resolution of Phalcon at the max desired/practical range of BVR engagement. A few days ago, the aircraft successfully completed the six-turn spin (towards the right), recovering from an uncontrolled flight using conventional methods. “The next stage of trials will be critical as it involves testing the HTT-40’s spin behavior in the left direction, which is far more complic...

Too much importance being given to Python which I believe is just another programming language and a relatively lousy one. All the ML/DL that it is being credited with is actually the handiwork of frameworks like Tensorflow which happens to have a C++ core and expose the Python APIs so that not so t...

Guru log, what's your take on Tata motors for long term i.e. 5-10 years horizon? It has hit 52 week low twice and DVR is trading at 120 levels now. With their current/upcoming product lineup, I don't see any hindrance in Tata motors gaining the top spot.

I agree. Recently went with a friend for test driving Baleno and Tigor. While holding the hood and doors, He remarked that they are much flimsier in Baleno and felt heavy in Tigor. If you ask me, the recurring issue with TATA is weight. There cars are heavy as compared to competition. For example Zest is 1135 Kgs, Dzire weighs 895 Kgs, Amaze 940 Kgs. This weight means low fuel economy though not by much. Zest Vs Dzire fuel economy differs by 1/2 Kmpl in city. But this weight a...

I don't think Tejas needs an APU when it has JSF. They can very well make the JFS run the generator via AMAGB and a clutch mechanism. IR IMO the dorsal scoop is for jfs. Tejas has 110 kW jfs unit meant to start the engine only. The free power turbine is connected to AMAGB which then powers the HP spool for starting the engine. I don't think that there is enough space for jfs aft of MLG bay and beneath the engine. Moreover the only...

4 passengers not showing up for boarding after check-in is a big number. Airlines try to avoid offloading pax because it leads...
