Guys, don't get too excited by the picture of R22. It was taken during Malabar 05 so it is old. Chances are that some of the SHAR's in the pic no longer exist.

The G class are being put thru an extentive MLU. Look at G1. G2 has been partially upgraded. G3 should be emerging from her upgrade any time.

Just curious as to what metrics you have used to assert that Barak-2/MF-STAR equipped vessels are less capable than, and not quite upto the task of protecting CVBG, as well as Aegis equipped vessels. Do share these with the rest of us.

GeorgeJ, as I have mentioned earlier, it is time to drop the whole IPMS/ CIC/ MCR business and move on to more useful things. Can you use your considerable powers of research to figure out what SSR the p-17 has? or what decoy launchers for that matter?

SNF = surinder nath frigates= IN codename for Kashins

Great find Arun! Well done mate. The program is running somewhat behind schedule but these are pretty modern vessels so IN folks will be happy to get these ships.

As for the P-71 IAC, the ship will have a much more modern, contemporary set of equipment.
