Re: CT and COIN operations in India: News, Images and Discussion

Condolences to the families of all the jawans killed.....where is Arundhati Roy now?...her "beautiful children" are nothing but murderers. What a bitch.

Re: Pakistan arms sales, ops, doctrine, etc

Lots of crying among the Pakis regarding failure of their grand plan to make the J-17 a mini rafale.

Though to be honest I doubt India had much to do with it, The French are probably scared that the Pandas will xerox anything they send over.

Re: C-17s for the IAF?

That still leaves open the question what will they be used for? We DO NOT need the long range strategic lift capacity these aircraft provide. That is policy and policy is not made by the military it is always made by the civilian govt. So you see their purchase is an operational issue. What use is ...

Re: C-17s for the IAF?

The IAF don't think so...and they are supposed to do the fighting. They seem to think the "sanction prone" bird works just fine.

Re: C-17s for the IAF?

OT, but GeorgeWs comments are actually enlightening in a different way-- It appears that India is actually a country of all citizens being equal which the US folks cant even begin to imagine, despite many years after formal abolition of apartheid type rules. Nor can it understand the concept of fun...

Re: C-17s for the IAF?

India has been subject to ITAR created sanctions for the last 40 years on its space industry ISRO and lots of other industries. India has built completely its space industry with non-ITAR business eco system within the country and outside the country. Indian industry also has avoided as much as pos...

Re: C-17s for the IAF?

As for best equipment for the job, i guess if IAF decided its interested F-22 (no denying the best of the lot), would it be on the table? The answer to that is my answer to why India should stick to Russians even if it means compromising rather than ditching them for the Americans. I never said US ...

Re: India-US News and Discussion

America does things according to her interests nothing devious in that, all countries do that including Russia. There is just IMHO too much vilification of the US. America does things in her own interest? Now where have I heard that before? 8) Pakistan of course had no shortage of nukes aimed at Ind...

Re: India-US News and Discussion

It is going to be difficult to get such a deal for Pakistan through the Senate..the Indian one by itself barely got thro. If such a deal goes through all I can say is that the Indian lobby in Washington just had a major failure. :D Well I guess you are entitled to your views. But as long as we tie ...
