now that a new centerline pylon on Su30 is being developed and stressed for a 4-5t brahmos-A, we have an opportunity here to make a devastating cluster bomb weapon. imagine a giant weapon as long as brahmos, but fills up that recess completely and square in cross section. should be a wind corrected...

I have a small nitpick :-?
Why the rear landing gear is so long ?
Almost all the modern attack helis have just a wheel at the end of its tail.

I was out in Saturday evening at about 5:00 PM and saw 4 Su-30 MKIs doing low level practice sorties at low speeds. One engine of the 3rd Sukhoi was smoking like hell, I mean worse than a RD33  . Does that mean the engine is due for complete overhaul ?

Re: The Indo Russian PAK-FA Project

Who said MKI has a rear facing radar? I didn't say MKI... . The Su-30M can be equipped with a Phazotron N010 Zhuk-27 radar or a NIIP N011M BARS pulse Doppler phased array radar. The Su-30MKI is fitted with the N011M, which can track up to 15 targets simultaneously. The sensors include a rear...

Re: ABM/Missile Defense Discussion

“So even if there is a manoeuvre by the enemy missile in the last 500 milliseconds
500 milliseconds means .5 seconds, that doesn't seem much though.
That means that if the RV does some evasive maneuvers much earlier, then the interceptor missile is most likely to miss it. :(

Quick /Rapid Setting Concrete
