PEs could potentially bite a company with large cash/liquid reserves, something like Wipro. HCL has went through a tough round of cost cutting under the previous CEO/CHO, dont think there is much optimization left. Infy still has some fat left, I would doubt TechM being sold by AM.

Try the new Hexa, the only worrying factor is the Tata badge or else i would've been all over it. I checked around, there are no BS3 innovas available, most of them were sold in 2015-2016.

If the discounts are steep, I think its worth buying, for eg, Innova, BS3 was selling 50k cheaper when BS4 was introduced. Now if the discounts are north of 1L, then its better to get it, than the ugly looking Crysta.

The cases will go for 15+ years, it goes to arbitration panel, courts and what not. Some do pay the money and get off, others keep prolonging, but IT dept is like an elephant, they never forget.
