So does it mean that specifically the Tata/DRDO WhAP, which is almost fully developed has hit the end of the road? WhAP is a different requirement than FICV. WhAP was necessitated from the requirements of UNPK missions as an APC. FICV will be a family of tracked vehicles for different roles. Recent...

All our ship classes seem to be designed with dhruv dimensions - see report from 2015 on last page. Even the lowly sukanya class has ability to stow away dhruv. The blades are folded on the deck and if the blades are manually folded on the deck, the personnel doing the folding has to be near the bl...

^^In this configuration are the 3 blades auto-folding? Without auto-folding it is difficult to manually fold the blades on tight deck spaces of frigates and destroyers. It is okay-ish on carriers where the deck space is plenty, but other ship classes are different story.

Is tail folding the only reason why Navy is unhappy with ALH dhruv? Actually that is the highlighted reason we read on the reports. IN's SQR for the NUH program is also a bit interesting which seemingly excludes ALH 1. ALL the blades should be auto folded. ALH is manually folded AFAIK which is diff...
