With current oil prices at historical low Russians are getting badly hurt. If we cant get q bargain price now from them we never will. Across all hardware platforms the primary objective of Putin will be to protect jobs rather than earning profit. Keep the factories, shipyards humming.

With massive bail out coming due to corona virus a lot of big budget acquisitions will definitely get stalled like nuclear sub as well as additional Rafael as well as even the manned space mission. No country has the appetite for any war any more for next 20 years including US.

Also it is a trend that ships are perfect breeding ground for corona. Our ships keep on doing port calls. We probably need to make a careful observation of all such cases. USS Roosevelt is a perfect example. We don’t see a lot of cruise ship traffic so that is a savior.

I think a lot of planned capacity building in near terms will get stalled due to capital outlay for corona virus. A lot of companies will need huge bailout otherwise Modi is not coming a third term. Hopefully it will reduce the propensity for imports
