Re: The state of the armor - Indian and Pak tanks

George J: I m confused now. If India bought the T-90S at $1.02M a piece. How does the REAL cost of T-90S become $2.5M? Why is $1.02M not considered a REAL price? I didnt think we were getting any concessions from the russians. $800 Million for 310 tanks, makes it approx 2.58/T-90. I would expect mo...

Austin, Going beyond stationary, GSP cooridinated targets is asking for rudimentary or remote intelligence. The more we ask from such a machine the more we get into the realm of unmanned flights with growing built-in intelligence. IMHO, it is far better to fund true unmanned machines that perform th...

If there is ever a real imbalance..worry not...we will simply buy the store! If 40 F-16s could trigger 130 M2K/MiG-29s and 50 Fantans could trigger 200 MiG-27s...can you imagine what a couple of 100 Al Khalids will trigger? I would like to see this cycle broken once and for all. Along with the nara...

One could state with certainity that such devices will be used against Americans in the ME too. Wonder what the respective govts and people think of that. No more a bomb that goes off and kills a non (say) KSA citizen a 100 miles away. Something like this can effect the population for centuries to c...

While we wallow in the intricacies of AQ/Taliban/TSP nuke scientists/etc, the streets are going to be filled with THEM. It is US (not United States) vs. THEM. And, that is THE ONLY way to see the issue. Sadly ( :) ), Mush also falls in the THEM category. Current certifications cannot remove what has...
