Re: Personal Health, Nutrition and Fitness Thread

I have a question for gurus here. I am 6'2" and 85 kgs. I look quite lean and do not have much fat on my body, but for the small tire on the stomach. Even there the fat is not much. The trouble is the stomach is protruding like a small sack! I have in the past brought down my weight to around ...

Recap from the Bizarre to the hilarious here we go are the reasons here why FDI in retail is such a bad thing: Why cant this be fixed without FDI? Spoke to an army colonel uncle of mine. He said that stable Pakistan is in our interests. I disagree. A stable Pakistan, like we had from 1975 till 2004 ish did a Khalistan and Kashmir on us. Re: India-China News and Discussion

One should not let emotion cloud one's vision. Notwithstanding their faults, one thing which you can say about the Chinese is that they are not mentally colonized to the extent that our elites are. No. They are as colonized or more in some ways. Most of my Chinese friends have an "American bra...

Yups, I believe we might as well get as much technology as we can from the European Union, while we can and they are willing to part with it for a price. Later, things may not be so easy. If the order is split, what is the mix that you, the reader would like to see in the 126 planes being ordered? 4...

Re: FDI in Retail

Organized retail is good, but we don't need any oligopolies. Better to have lots of competition. Maybe there should be restrictions on how many stores a chain can open in a city. Also, FDI is not really required - Indian firms are quite capable of handling it. On the other hand, this is not a strat...

I forget where I read this (DEW/Flightglobal/Ares) , but Bill Sweetman also commented on this (UAE) story with the same view.

He said that the UAE flip flop on the Rafale is related to the MMRCA which will be a "bear of a contract" to execute.
