Corrupt Paki Tycoon Trying To Earn "Islami Sawab" In The AfterWorld

Malik Riaz Donates Rs. 1 Billion for Rohingya Muslims
( Old news but relevant!)
One of Pakistan’s most wealthiest and most prominent figure — Malik Riaz — has announced a donation of Rs. 1 billion for Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar (Burma).
. Announcement to get "publicity" is one thing, "to put your mouth where your mouth is" is a different thing ! The Ajmer Sharif Dargah Management had a hard time collecting "only" Rs. 100,000 from Malik's , fellow con-men Dus Percenti, AKA Asif Zardari, when he visited Ajmer on a private visit , when he was holding office of Paki President and in the heat of the moment announced a donation of one lakh !
The business tycoon says, The Europeans have openly welcomed Muslims from all over the world into their countries, can we not accommodate 1 million Rohingya Muslims in our country?Devastated by the lack of interest from other Muslim countries, Malik Riaz decided to take things into his own hands and announced the donation. After the announcement, he said: I am willing to donate Rs. 1 Billion along with land accommodation to help the Rohingya Muslims resettle in Pakistan. The government and establishment need to work together and help bring the Rohingya Muslims to Pakistan, and this will help us as a nation. Allah will help us by helping others! The language itself is quite ambiguous ( "I am willing... ") and most likely there are impossible conditions to be met
He also raised some valid questions by drawing a comparison between Kashmir and Burma. We are so passionate about Kashmir, then why not about Burma? We need to stand our own feet before the world declares us as terrorists and we end up as the Burmese Muslims. We need to take the initiative ourselves and support the Rohingya Muslims by giving them financial assistance and land to live. Typical Pakjabi bravado . In Pakiland, this "real estate tycoon" is reputed to have his corrupt fingers in many pies and has "friends" like Ex CJP Iftakhar Chaudry, his "corrupt" Doctor son, Ex COAS Asphuck Kayani and his corrupt Real Estate bro, and Dus Percent Zardari !

PS: Would be interesting to know if these "poor Rohingyas" have even seen one rupee of this donation yet

Paki Media Reacts To Indian Govt Plans To Build A New Air Base Near Paki Border :D

Indian Air Force developing new Fighter Operational Base along Pakistan border
NEW DELHI - Indian Air Force has been given go ahead by the Central government to set up a new fighter operational base near the borders with Pakistan.Indian Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday cleared a long-pending Indian Air Force (IAF) plan to set up a forward fighter base close to Deesa in Banaskantha district, near India’s western border in northwest Gujarat, adding teeth to its military capabilities against Pakistan, Hindustan Times has reported.
Centre clears plans for IAF base close to Pakistan border in Gujarat :D
Indian Air Force has long been asking for the forward operating Base along Pakistan border.
Defence ministry officials said on condition of anonymity that the CCS has cleared the initial investment of around Rs 1,000 crore to extend the runway, build fighter-pens and administrative facilities. Agree 100% with Modi-ji policy of increasing defense spending . Wonder how long will Pakistan carry on this facade of = = , without dragging their country into a rabbit hole from which they may not be able to get out .

Options "offered" to Ganja Sharif and his daughter by Deep State, according to Paki Media Reports !

What a country: According to Pak media #Nawazsharif with his daughter has been given options of 10 years exile or jail by establishment

There has been a spate of Anti-Nawaz articles in the Paki Press in the last few weeks. Dus Percenti enlisted in the "cause". Immy is already "on board" since a long time. Psychological pressure being applied. Remains to be seen if he can bear the same or mobilize the "awaam" in his favour. Interesting remark by PM Abbasi about "Ganja spending his time in jail" but still remaining "Leader"

Elections are 100 days away and both Ganja and establishment needs to make moves that will determine the crucial next stage

Establishment is facing diminishing returns. No knock out punch has been delivered and each passing day is making Ganja stronger.

Ganja needs to buy some more time. The closer the election gets the more untouchable he becomes.

Now is the time to get him and his daughter behind the bars. Without them the PMLN will lose the leaders to fight and will have to come to the negotiating table.

In any case no deals can be made without discrediting the judiciary and establishment. Such a deal may weaken Ganja but it will weaken the opposition even more. The only one option is that Ganja leaves the country and refuses to return (in agreement with establishment). Which will completely suicidal for PMLN in upcoming elections. Ganja wont do it.

Ganja knows that establishment has lost the first move advantage.

RMS Titanic

RMS Titanic was the largest ship of its time (1912) and the second of the three Olympic-class ocean liners. Thomas Andrews was the Titanic’s architect and on the night of April 14, 1912 and the morning of April 15, 1912 the Titanic was under the command of Captain Edward Smith.

RMS Titanic continues to be one of the most famous of ships ever built – but for all the wrong reasons. In the North Atlantic Ocean, RMS Titanic had an estimated 2,224 people onboard. In the North Atlantic Ocean, more than 1,500 drowned that night. Captain Edward Smith was on the bridge.

RMS Caronia warned Captain Edward Smith that there were icebergs ahead. Captain Edward Smith acknowledged the warning. RMS Baltic warned Captain Edward Smith that there were icebergs ahead. Captain Edward Smith acknowledged the warning. The Greek ship, Athenia, warned Captain Edward Smith that there were icebergs ahead. Captain Edward Smith acknowledged the warning.

And yet, Captain Edward Smith did not reduce the speed of the ship. And yet, Captain Edward Smith took the Titanic towards the iceberg at the Titanic’s full speed of 22 knots (41 km/h). And then, the Titanic collided. The Titanic “began to flood immediately, with water pouring in at an estimated rate of seven tonnes per second, fifteen times faster than it could be pumped out.”

The ship of Pakistan’s economy has 208 million Pakistanis onboard. There are at least five captains on the bridge of the Ministry of Finance. In December 2017, the captains of our Ministry of Finance were warned. The warning: Pakistan’s current account deficit has widened by a whopping 89 percent in the first five months (July-November) of fiscal year 2017-18. In February 2018, the captains of our Ministry of Finance were warned. The warning: the current account deficit surged by 48 percent to $9.156 billion in the seven months of fiscal year 2017-18.

In October 2017, the captains of our Ministry of Finance were warned. The warning: “Pakistan’s trade deficit widened to $9.1 billion in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, up by 30 percent as imports grew at double the pace of exports”. In January 2018, the captains of our Ministry of Finance were warned. The warning: “Pakistan’s trade deficit has swelled to $18 billion in only six months of [the] current fiscal year due to faster growth in imports as against exports.”

The iceberg is clear to everyone. And yet, the captains of Pakistan’s economy are not reducing the speed. The iceberg is clear to everyone. And yet, the captains of Pakistan’s economy are taking the economy towards the iceberg at full speed.

The widening of the current account deficit is a symptom, not the disease. The swelling of the trade deficit is a symptom, not the disease. The disease is fuelled by the high input costs of electricity and gas, and tax policies. Imposing regulatory duties on imports is suppressing the symptoms, not curing the disease. The devaluation of the rupee is suppressing the symptoms, not curing the disease. The captains of our economy have taken 208 million hostage by locking us into super-expensive, ‘take-or-pay’, long-term contracts. There’s absolutely no way out but to re-negotiate these contracts and make Pakistan competitive again.

Nope a convenient handle given by the jehadi army to Musharraf who can now claim before the judiciary that even as he wants to, he cant come to Pakistan as he fears for his life and faces threat both from Bhutto and Ganja supporters. This is nothing but Nautanki being done by the judiciary/army/ deep state.

PEREGRINE-JI :
The analogy comparing the Paki State/economy to the ill-fated TITANIC is very telling . Background reading on this (TITANIC) tragedy, also states that those passengers who had first class tickets survived the mishap- escaped by life boat !. Those who had "second class or third class " tickets were all doomed and therefore died ( because of their location on the ship ! .) This may also be the case with the Paki economy as well. The first class passengers ie the Paki Elite have their own escape plans all ready . Illegal wealth stashed abroad, dual passports, relatives and family in Londonistan and Massaland to help them flee the sinking ship of state ! It is the Abduls who will not have any "lifeboats" to save them from the impeding disaster .

No "Relief In Sight" For "Paki Mards" With Uighur Wives !

Pakistanis distressed as Uighur wives vanish in China dragnet
The Express Tribune
ISLAMABAD:
Every autumn on the mountainous Karakoram Highway, part of the ancient Silk Road, groups of Pakistani merchants living in China’s far west would wave goodbye to their Chinese wives and cross the border to spend winter in their home country. As the snow piled high, the men would stay in touch with their families by phone, longing for the spring thaw that would allow them to be reunited in Xinjiang. And "exercise their conjugal rights"- once again- after the long winter
But last year many of their calls suddenly went unanswered. Chini clampdown
Their families, they learned, had disappeared into a growing network of shadowy “reeducation centres” that have swept up the region’s Uighur Muslim minority over fears of Islamic militancy crossing the border from Pakistan. The "affected Pakis" may be mad, but do not expect the GOP to help them. ! The "Saudi treatment of Paki citizens" scenario is repeated over again, only in this case, the "culprit" is not an Ummah country, but the guarantor of Pakistan's survival . So the Govt of Pakistan will just have to lump it and swallow its pride, unless the Mullah Brigade stands up for these victims !
Chinese authorities have denied the existence of reeducation centres.
But regulations against extremism adopted by Xinjiang last March call for authorities to step up political reeducation.
In Kashgar alone, more than 120,000 people – about three percent of the area’s population – were being held in the facilities in January, according to Radio Free Asia.
An AFP review of state media reports and government documents verified the existence of at least 30 such centres and almost 4,000 cases of people being sent to them. Regulations posted on a local website in Xinjiang’s Hejing county explained that even minor transgressions of strict religious regulations can be punished with up to three months in a centre.
Ali, a businessman who lost contact with his wife in December, said she had been taken by authorities to do a “sort of training where they teach them about Communism and prepare them to be patriotic citizens”.
He plans to cross the border in May to find his family, but has been told his children are in the custody of the Chinese government and doesn’t know if he will see them again.“They never tell you anything, they just say your family will come back to you when they finish their training.”

"Deep State" Has Decided To Clampdown On Friday Sermon ( AKA Jummah Khutba) In Isloo Mosques . Rousing The Awaam Will Not Be Allowed. Speech By The Mullah Will Have To Be Approved In Writing Before Delivery !

Friday sermons to be delivered on select topics, following approval
ISLAMABAD: Friday sermons will now be delivered after they have been approved by the capital administration, which will also monitor them, officials said on Saturday. The administration had initially decided to issue written sermons to mosques and imambargahs in the city, they said. Scholars from various sectors and administrators of places of worship were called for a meeting with the capital administration in this regard. The idea was largely opposed by scholars, administrators and prayer leaders, officials said, as a number of mosques and imambargahs are not supervised by the administration but by the Auqaf department. So, "Press Release Speech" idea was shot down by the Mullah Brigade
However, it was later decided that sermons would only be delivered on matters selected by the administration, which were shared with the scholars and prayer leaders, who agreed. First came press ( do it yourself !) censorship ; now comes speech vetting/ pre approval at the masjid level . What will be next on the list
Officials said the measure was taken as part of an effort to make a code of conduct for Friday sermons, under the directives of the Islamabad chief commissioner. They added that they will also monitor the use of loudspeakers installed at places of worship to curb verbal attacks on sects, hate speech and prevent the sentiments of other religions and sects from being hurt. :(( To late to change to a moderate version of Malsi . The Saudis and most of the Mullahs may not like the messages of peace and tolerance towards Shias, and others that is being planned here !
Masjid Khulfa-i-Rashideen khateeb Maulana Nazir Ahmed Farooqi, when contacted, said the administration had asked that written sermons be delivered during Friday prayers, but the request was declined after discussion. He said a committee has been formed to devise a code of conduct for the sermons, which all the scholars and prayer leaders will cooperate with.
The administration has asked for assistance to deliver sermons on religious harmony, morality and peace, and to condemn terrorism and sectarianism, he said. Hard to put back the "gene of Salafi Malsi" once it is out of the bottle .

Not Sure Of What Is Going On Over Here. ! Maybe, A Case Of " Damage Control- Saudi Style"

No airline granted airspace for flights between India and Israel, says Saudi Arabia
RIYADH – The civil aviation authority of Saudi Arabia has denied any authorization for flights between India and Israel using its airspace.
A spokesman for the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Saudi Arabia said the no authority has given permission to Air India, the AlArabiya reported on Wednesday. The clarification comes two days after Air India announced that it plans to start direct flights to Israel and has proposed to travel through closed Saudi airspace. Paki fears about this whole "secret deal" between India and The Custodian Of The Land Of The Two Holy Mosques now assuaged by this re assuring announcement from Riyadh :D
A spokesman for Air India said the state-owned carrier had ordered  three flights a week between New Delhi and Tel Aviv. He added that the Indian airlines are waiting for approval to cross Saudi airspace in those flights.
Israeli airlines El Al currently operates four flights a week to Mumbai, but takes seven hours instead of five because they take a southern route towards Ethiopia and then east to India, where they cannot cross Saudi airspace.
The airline said its maiden flight 139 took off from New Delhi on Thursday and landed at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv after flying over the Islamic kingdom, heralding a new shift in diplomatic policy of Riyadh that does not recognise Israel as a state. The Saudis have always played the "Israeli card" close to their chest, lest they be accused by arch enemy Iran and Ummah supporters like Pakiland of going "soft" on the Zionist entity . And it also depends on how the Saudi Monarch feels on that particular day . This may well be a case of that kind. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing :D

Old Wine Sherbet In New Bottles ( We are Muslims. We do not drink. ! )

Bajwa's So-Called Doctrine "Whipped" By Yet Another Paki Anal-ist
The political turmoil in recent months has seen Pakistan’s military return centre stage. Since the exit of Gen Musharraf, the latter had taken a back seat and exercised its traditional power from behind-the-scenes. But all that has been changing over recent years with the high-profile populist positions taken by Army Chiefs. The previous one and his effective public relations team convinced Pakistanis that Gen Raheel Sharif was indeed the new saviour who was also supportive of democratic order. Now it is the ‘Bajwa Doctrine’ – the worldview of the incumbent Chief of the Army Staff (COAS). Raheel was like a Pakjabi Bull in Fata, carpet bombing and "running of to Saudia" after the damage was done , while low-key Bajwa, employing a subtle approach has a Iron First in an Velvet Glove, twisting arms, marginalizing Ganja and his party, making deals with Dus Percenti and Immy !
The details of the Bajwa Doctrine, thanks to a recent press briefing and subsequent media reports, are public. The fact that the military is in charge of national security matters and foreign policy has always been well known. However, the Bajwa Doctrine takes a broader view of domestic political affairs. A few details include the following. First, the Army supports continuation of the democratic process but wants a clean-up. Second, it supports the judicial accountability of ‘corrupt’ politicians. Third, the Army will not allow the judiciary to be undermined. Fourth, the eighteenth amendment to the Constitution needs to be revisited. Fifth, the economy is not on track (this was also announced earlier). Sixth, the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) — one of the largest cash transfer programmes in the world — needs to be adjusted.IOW, all of these, have to be "fine tuned " to suit the changing Paki and world environment !
Unfortunate as it may be, this is the new reality that the political actors will have to contend with. The Bajwa Doctrine therefore is a continuation of the past and in that sense is neither new nor unexpected. Its prognosis is almost similar to what the generals have said in the past. Commitment to a clean and ‘real’ democracy is not new. And the quest for an economically strong and centralised state is also a perennial theme in the military worldview. Any provision in The Doctrine for a "clean and real army " ie the elimination of "The Army Has A State" Theory and the adoption of "The State Has a Army " Doctrine
Those who advise the top-generals — in military and non-military circles — cannot be oblivious to history. If provincial autonomy had been agreed upon, Pakistan would not have split into two states. Even after 1971, the centre-province relations have been strained. The military is fighting an insurgency in Balochistan and earlier the state had to deal with separatist sentiments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh. In fact, a good number of Sindhi youth are disenchanted with the way things work. Hope Bajwa is not preparing the stage for the further Balkanization of Pakistan, after the "Bangladesh shock"!.
It is time that the military interacts with a larger pool of experts, academics and civil society rather than the select few with ‘patriotic’ credentials. A more engaged dialogue is the need of the hour. Will Bajwa and his "crore commanders" listen, is another story

Imagine the uproar if this practice is followed in India.

US adds seven Pakistani companies to export control list

The United States has added seven Pakistani companies to a list of foreign entities that are subject to stringent export control measures, according to Hindustan Times.

The 23 additions to the list, including 15 entities from the troubled area of South Sudan, were published by the US Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security on Thursday in the Federal Register.

The list identifies entities “reasonably believed to be involved, or to pose a significant risk of being or becoming involved, in activities contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States”.

Three of the companies were listed for “their involvement in the proliferation of unsafeguarded nuclear activities that are contrary to the national security and/or foreign policy interests of the United States”, two were found procuring supplies for nuclear-related entities already on the list and last two were suspected to be fronts for listed entities. An eighth Pakistani entity is based in Singapore.

Hindustan Times reported that the additions could affect the chances of Pakistan joining the elite Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).

Although China and Turkey have cited procedural issues in adding new members to the NSG, both of them have underline the right of Pakistan to aspire to become a member of the club, which works on the principle of consensus to accept new members.

Earlier, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director-General Yukiya Amano said he was highly impressed by the standards Pakistan is maintaining at the various civilian nuclear facilities and installations he visited during a visit to Pakistan recently.

Amano, while addressing a seminar in Karachi, said: “Your country [Pakistan] is an experienced user of peaceful nuclear technology.”

The IAEA chief, while summing up the visits he made during his three-day trip, said, “Everywhere it was clear you [Pakistan] have the knowledge and the pool of people who are dedicated to do this job.”

While speaking about his visit to the under-construction facilities, the IAEA chief remarked, “You [Pakistan] are taking a lot of care for the safety and security of the plants.”

NSG is the only major export control regime that India is not a part of, New Delhi is a member of the Missile Technology Control Regime, the Australia Group and the Wassenaar Arrangement.

Both India and Pakistan are not signatories to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), which New Delhi maintains is discriminatory. All other members of the export control regimes are part of NPT.

Inclusion in the Entity List, as it’s technically called, is considered the ‘highest level of red-flag’ that there is in the US export control regime aimed at preventing misuse or repurposing of American dual-use technology (equipment or technology that can be used for both civilian and non-civilian purposes) for undeclared use, mostly military.

It could not be immediately ascertained if these additions were a part of the general toughening of the US position on Pakistan under President Donald Trump, who has accused the one-time ally of “deceit and lies” and suspended nearly $2 billion in military assistance to the country.

Entities on this list – businesses, research institutions, government and private organisations, individuals – are required to seek a license from the US government to purchase items subjected to Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which, it is generally presumed, will be denied to them.

Thirsty Pakistan

As Pakistan hurtles towards the close of the first two decades of the 21st century — proudly showing off its new and improved Big Boy WMDs, its numerous shiny shopping plazas that spring up almost daily across urban centres, not to mention imported luxury car showrooms — it appears to have forgotten the basics.

London-based non-profit organisation Water Aid’s recent report — The Water Gap: The State of the World’s Water 2018 — ranks Pakistan nine out of 10 in term of lowest access levels to potable water close to home. Moreover, it finds that almost 22 million have no access to clean drinking water either inside or near their homes. This is not to say that no progress has been made. It has. The 44 million Pakistanis who did not have access to clean water back in 2000 now do. But much more needs to be done. Particularly when it comes to the state apparatus coming up with an action plan to deal with shrinking water tables and impending water scarcity.

The tragedy is that much of the stress on the region’s water tables is due to waste. In November 2017, the Indus River System Authority (IRSA) found that Pakistan dumps water worth $21 billion into the sea due to a lack of water conservation systems. In addition, it said that the country would need three Mangla-sized dams to counter this. The country is also home to one of the most inefficient irrigation systems in the world. The Barki Institute of Public Policy Netsol noted in its 2017 annual report on the state of the national economy that this led to 60 percent of water passing through it being lost due to mismanagement.

The problems created by declining water tables are compounded by lack of access to basic sanitation; not to mention increasing pollution. According to Water Aid, Pakistan is the seventh worst country when it comes to accessing safe toilets. Open-air defecation results in contamination of ground water sources — causing water borne diseases such as typhoid, cholera, dysentery and diarrhoea; with the latter killing 53,000 Pakistani children every year. And then there is question of heavy metals. Meaning that arsenic levels in groundwater are alarmingly high. With up to 60 million Pakistanis inadvertently consuming arsenic concentrations of 50-60 micrograms per litre; or 200 micrograms per litre in southern regions. WHO recommends that safe drinking water should contain no more than 10 micrograms per litre. Thus the issue of shrinking water tables can no longer remain on the backburner. Not when the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) warns of an acute water shortages by 2025; which would signal disaster for a country so highly dependent on agriculture to keep its economy afloat.

Thus the incoming government must take Water Aid’s warning seriously, at both the local and regional level. Meaning that cooperation with India is a must. Our all-weather ally China can be called upon to provide much needed infrastructure development and monetary assistance towards this end.

Considering how the political leadership across the great divide has suddenly remembered the sanctity as the Constitution now that elections are in sight — it would do well to also keep in mind that the latter ensures the right to life. For which potable water is a prerequisite.

The biggest threat to Pakistan’s near-term future comes from within. In other words, the longer the country continues on the current path whereby it splashes cash on maintaining the world’s fastest-growing nuclear stockpile, say, the direr the future will be for this already resource-fragile nation.

Transgender Journo Being "Strategically Empowered" In The Islamic Republic Of Pakistan Pakiland

Pakistan's first transgender newscaster recounts her struggle
A private TV channel recently recently made history by hiring a transgender newscaster. Marvia Malik, ( Marvia - very gender neutral name !) however, thinks she might have made history by appearing on TV, the difficulties facing her community are far from over. "They are still faced with more than their fair share of hindrances, reveals Marvia in an exclusive interview with The News. Is not "The News" taking the- in theory - "Freedom of Speech" Policy too far, by granting " undue publicity to this anti- Malsic phenomena. Are they not concerned by the backlash of the Mullah Brigade ?
Marvia also made headlines in the recent past as the first Trans model to walk the ramp during a fashion week. She says she was interviewed at Kohenoor News TV channel three months ago and was hired the same day. Trans model, fashion ramp, fashion week. Is the Father Of Islamic Ideology, Maulana Maududi turning in his grave. And what about the Chief Honcho Of Kaaba , who was recently on a visit and appeared to give a "clean certificate" of Sharia implementation to the Land Lund Of The Pure.
In conversation with The News, she has revealed the innumerable hurdles that a transgender has to go through in their routine life. “The life of a transgender is full of tremendous difficulties and they are all leading the same life and facing the same challenges,” stated Marvia.
Graduating from Punjab University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marvia revealed that the teachers at her institution had been extremely supportive and she did not face any discrimination at the hands of her professors, unlike the students who did tend to develop a prejudiced behavior towards her. Good to know that the "professors" did not display "sexist behaviour" towards this "new and approved" species . !
Marvia encouraging those struggling with their gender identity, stated that: “Keep fighting and keep working hard regardless of what field you’re working in. It doesn’t matter if you’re a news caster or a driver, if you work hard and be resilient in the face of hardship you can achieve success unquestionably.” Nice words. but it will be a long, long, time before these ideas will see the light of day in Islamic Pakistan

Image
Marvia posing for the camera !

PS: Maybe the hiring of a transgender newscaster in not a "bad idea" in the first place. Apart from the publicity ( "no publicity is bad publicity" !) that will be generated, which in turn will be transferred into higher ratings, which in turn leads to higher advertising rates and higher profit to the channel. This may ultimately lead to a new "TV Channel" strictly targeted to transgender viewers !

Police suspect mother strangled three kids in Lahore
Police say a woman was depressed when she allegedly strangled her three children in Lahore.

Police officer Bilal Zafar says Aniqa Khatoon inflicted several cuts on her forearms with a sharp blade Saturday before informing her father and police of the kids’ deaths on the outskirts of the provincial capital.Khatoon alleges her 'boyfriend' killed her two sons, ages 5 and 9, and her 7-year-old daughter.
Zafar said the woman was divorced about seven years ago and has had financial problems.Police detained the woman’s 'boyfriend' Hasan Mustafa for questioning but he has denied he was in the house when the children were killed.Zafar suspects the mother murdered her children in extreme depression. Pakistan needs more women shelters, mental health facilities, more spending on health and education. And not Brand New Shining Weapons Of Mass Destruction, Spy Satellite System, Imported Internet Censorship System and assorted military toys

Just check the cockiness of that statement, and also the surety that the chinese are at their beck and call to oblige them, the Chinese will systematically strip them and then kick their Musharraf's.

India’s Hydrological War :

Daily Times

Surely an Islamic Republic and IEDological Muslim State like the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan would welcome being transformed to the desert-like landscape of the two most significant locations for the Mohammadden belief namely Makkah and Medina, So why are many in the Islamic Republic complaining about India when Indian actions are helping them achieve their ambitions?
Actually there is a devil in the details of IWT and the problem is in the interpretation of Annexure D and Annexure E. Pakistan is being converted slowly into a desert through the tacit application of these two annexes of IWT.
Looking forward to the day even this stream of sewage is stopped:
The only water body which India willingly traverse towards Pakistan is a pollutants Stricken, effluent loaded, hudiari drain which is playing havoc to the arable lands of Lahore and the bed of ravi.
Meanwhile India should provide Non-Punjabi Provinces of the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan 800% diplomatic and moral support to kill Punjab Water Gluttony and Punjab water theft via projecst like Kalabagh which this author is touting.

Shouldn't the napakis should be thankful to their tallel, deeper fliends that they are taking care of the mohtarmas free of cost

Pakistanis distressed as Uighur wives vanish in China dragnet
Every autumn on the mountainous Karakoram Highway, part of the ancient Silk Road, groups of Pakistani merchants living in China's far west would wave goodbye to their Chinese wives and cross the border to spend winter in their home country.

As the snow piled high, the men would stay in touch with their families by phone, longing for the spring thaw that would allow them to be reunited in Xinjiang.

But last year many of their calls suddenly went unanswered.

Their families, they learned, had disappeared into a growing network of shadowy "reeducation centres" that have swept up the region's Uighur Muslim minority over fears of Islamic militancy crossing the border from Pakistan.

"My wife and kids were taken away by the Chinese authorities in March last year and I haven't heard from them since," said Iqbal, a Pakistani businessman who declined to give his surname over concern about his family's safety.

Last July, he headed to China to find them, but was turned away at the border. Authorities "said my wife was in 'training' and the government was taking care of my kids", he told AFP.

THE MOMENT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR HAS ARRIVED! TA DA :

Balance of payments worsens: Pakistan could knock at IMF’s doors in April

ISLAMABAD: The PML-N government has accepted the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) precondition to let the rupee depreciate by over 4% to qualify for any fresh bailout package that is needed to avoid a default-like situation.

Notwithstanding Adviser on Finance Miftah Ismail’s statement that the government is not seeking any IMF assistance, the Washington-based lender is said to have been obliged to steer through highly difficult 2017-18 and 2018-19 financial years.

The government is expected to take up the issue of new IMF financing in April during World Bank-IMF spring meetings in Washington.

Ismail does not see any further downward readjustment of the currency in the near future. However, those who are in the know of things, both in the central bank and the Ministry of Finance, maintain that lobbyists at home and abroad are working to persuade the authorities to go for another depreciation before June.

Insiders described it as a ‘panic situation’ in the Ministry of Finance and the word ‘bottom line’ is being used for seeking an emergency $6-7 billion in IMF assistance to make timely repayments and tackle the looming balance of payments crisis.

In the absence of any credible economic team, two officials – Talib Balouch and Khaqan Najeeb – are considered ‘opening batsmen’ of the finance ministry to take important decisions.

One is calling for seeking IMF assistance to ward off the impending balance of payments crisis while the other is suggesting acquiring commercial loans continuously at high mark-up. Since the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have linked their annual assistance to the IMF’s signal, seeking commercial loans, particularly from China and Chinese commercial banks, are seen a viable option to manage external inflows. A total of $1.3 billion in commercial borrowing had been obtained in the last few months which also included $900 million in just one quarter. There is no strategy how to deal with the intensifying balance of payments crisis.

Economic mess

Successive secretaries of the Ministry of Finance and governors of the central bank are being held responsible for having created the current economic mess due to which the fiscal and current account deficits have increased disproportionately causing new difficulties for the country.

Since December last year, the government has let the rupee weaken by about 10% that has multiplied the country’s external debt. What if the IMF dictates are accepted to push the currency down by another 13% as has been demanded in every meeting with the Pakistani officials?

Uncertainty and gloom over the economic situation have grown following the release of post-programme monitoring report by the IMF that believes that risks to macroeconomic stability are increasing and that widening fiscal and external deficits could land Pakistan into new trouble. The timing of the report has been termed intriguing by independent economists as it eroded investors’ confidence. They say IMF officials were ‘partners in crime’ as they had been waiving things by giving a clean bill of health to the Pakistani economy during the three-year $6.67 billion Extended Fund Facility that ended in September 2016.

The report was unprecedented in terms of pointing out serious risks that IMF officials believe surfaced after the completion of the programme. In fact, they are suggesting that as long as the IMF programme continued nothing happened and the country’s economy started collapsing when there was no oversight available by them.

Who does not know that the country is witnessing multi-dimensional economic challenges, the foremost of which is how to prevent insolvency that is coming in the wake of worsening balance of payments problem?

The present government will complete its five-year term by early June this year and by that time external debt and liabilities would have crossed $100 billion that also includes the $2.5 billion added by the latest depreciation of the rupee.

The gross failure in increasing exports and home remittances coupled with foreign direct investment (FDI) and portfolio investment and other non-debt creating inflows have caused serious balance of payments problem.

Strict stabilisation policy

Now, it appears that everything revolves around IMF assistance or acquiring more and more commercial loans from China. But Chinese authorities may not be that forthcoming and eventually this or the caretaker government will have to knock the doors of the IMF to help rescue the economy.

This time around, Pakistan will be forced to go for a strict stabilisation policy in the name of austerity. But there is a growing consensus that so-called stabilisation has caused problems to the economy’s growth.

IMF officials, it is said, are more concerned about getting back their $6.6 billion and in case they decide to honour yet another funding request, they will pressurise the government to implement taxation and energy-related reforms besides cutting development budget to restrict fiscal deficit. The deficit, officials concede, will go as high as 7% while others believe it might end up at 8% considering the huge resources being doled out to PML-N legislators to win elections.

Fiscal deficit, which is considered the mother of all economic ills, continues to widen as the gap between income and expenditure has grown over Rs2 trillion. How could the FBR deal with this issue without reforming its system is anybody’s guess?

The government plans to have its revenue collection target fixed at Rs4.5 trillion in 2018-19. Is it achievable considering the usual shortfall of Rs200 to Rs250 billion seen every year for the last many years?

Root cause of fiscal problem

The seventh National Finance Commission (NFC) award that gave 57.5% share to provinces is now becoming the root cause of the fiscal problem. Things further aggravated due to the 18th Constitution Amendment which empowered provinces without enhancing their capacity and wisdom to spend resources.

Those two things have, in fact, emptied the federal treasury. For the current fiscal year, the federal government under the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award is extending Rs2.4 trillion to the provinces and retaining just Rs1.6 trillion to manage its responsibilities.

Without addressing the NFC issue, fiscal problems will continue to swell and in the absence of a certain strategy, the current account deficit can’t be reduced which is widening due to unparalleled imports and declining exports.

The caretaker government and the new elected government will have a gigantic task to address the issue of twin deficits. The manipulated figures would not do the trick to tackle serious challenges.

Ironically, when major economic indicators including imports and exports, fiscal and external deficits, revenues and FDI are deteriorating, the government is showing 14% industrial growth.

From where is this growth coming? The sad part of the problem is nobody is taking the economy seriously.

A Good Example Of While The Cat ( Salman in Massaland!) Is Away, The Mouse ( Raheel in Pakiland !) Will Play Syndrome !

Watch Raheel Sharif show off his dancing skills
Former chief of army staff (COAS) General (r) Raheel Sharif danced with fellow soldiers on a Pashto song during his visit to the Piffers Mess in Abbottabad earlier this week.In a video widely shared on social media, he could be seen enjoying himself with soldiers of the Frontier Force Regiment (FFR) – the regiment he was commissioned in – and exhibiting a few dance moves. Cannot get enough of the Paki Fauj  . As far as social bonhomie is concerned, the Land Of The Sand ( ie Saudia !) is no fun !
The soldiers were also visibly thrilled to be dancing with the former COAS. Many could also be seen taking pictures with him. He was invited there by incumbent COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa. So, Bajwa is keeping his "former boss" in the loop. The "Ganja Sharif Project"- to get Ganja out of Paki politics on the pretext of corruption - has now been taken over by Bajwa
Earlier, both General (r) Raheel and General Bajwa pinned the badges of rank on Lt General Ghayur Mahmood as the new colonel of the FFR during his visit to the FFR Centre. Most of the time, retired generals "go in the sunset ", but obviously this is not the case with Raheel ( There were persistent reports in the Paki Press, that Raheel was a candidate for caretaker PM . Wonder if this is still the case  )
A large number of serving and retired Piffer officers also attended the ceremony. Later, General Bajwa addressed Piffer commanding officers and hailed their contributions towards the defence of the country. :(( ( Nice to have "Pindi Chana" and "Nihari Gosht" , after the daily dosage of Saudi dates and Saudi camel milk  )

Pakistan Steel Mills Become " A Bone In The Throat" ( AKA kebab mae haddi ) For French Car Maker Renault's Plan For A Karachi Auto Plant :D

Pakistan Steel Mills playing dirty as Renault struggles to enter Pakistan
March 9, 2018
French automaker Renault’s big plans for launching itself to a thriving Pakistani customer-base is in the doldrums; Pakistan Steel Mills, which had earlier come to an understanding with Renault, has now backed out and refused to provide land for the manufacturing facility, a local publication reported, quoting an official of the Ministry of Industries and Production. The official said that Renault had approached the ministry with a complaint that the National Industrial Parks Development and Management Company (NIP) had been coercing the automaker to sign an open-ended undertaking for bearing any increase in the cost of land being provided for setting up the vehicle manufacturing plant in Karachi. It will be better for the French auto maker to pull out of the deal, rather than face "multiple headaches" down the road. This is a signal to them that the Pakis cannot be relied upon to implement their end of the deal
Renault, which has joined hands with local partner Al-Futtaim Automotive Pakistan (Private) Limited, had been earlier allocated 50 acres of land for Rs1.3 billion (Rs26 million per acre) for its assembly line. The price was to be paid in three equal installments. In a rather unethical practice, the PSM board of directors has come to the abrupt decision that it would carry out a fresh price assessment of the allotted piece of land and seek the revised price from the buyers.
Now, the Ministry of Industries, which is upset about the decision of the PSM board on conducting a fresh price assessment, has sought intervention of the cabinet for resolution of the issue. This White Elephant ( Aka Pakistan Steel Mills ) has been like a "bottomless pit " around the neck of the cash starved Paki Govt . Attempts to "offload" this- at least the vacant land portion of it - to unsuspecting buyers ( including the ISI !) have still to date, come to zero, so this seems like a "good deal" but is being "sabotaged" by the PSM Board. Maybe, The Board wants to "drink some more at the public trough"
The French company Renault is considered to be among the more prominent of the new entrants. It is reported that Renault has entered into a definitive agreement with Al-Futtaim to gain access to the Pakistani market. According to the deal, Renault will bring its latest products and technology while Al-Futtaim will establish a new manufacturing and assembly plant and distribute the cars. It is expected that the Renault SUV Duster will be the first vehicle to be co-launched by Renault and Al-Futtaim. :((
Locked
