So in 2010, Lagadapati Rajagopal INC MP got an Indian Bank to spend USD 1 Billion to donate for Australian Coal. This along with other scams like TSC, Mallya etc meant by 2014 the Indian Banking sector was filled Rs 40 Lakh crore of Bad Debts to be paid by the ordinary Indian public, while minnons like Raghuram Rajan tried to cover this up.

A lot of this is pre-emption.

Before you can ask why do you eat your god, you are accused of a beastly religion.

Before you can ask when Europe is going to take back its unwashed, you are presented a quandary to occupy your energies.

It’s part of the game. The answer is not polemics but a giant economy. In five years India will be a different place. In ten years the world will be a different place.

It appears that a congi strongman, and a perennial ED favorite, very often invited by the frequent flyer raiders for "discussions" at their offices is funding the entire logistics and "all other expenses" for the Bharat todo yatra.

The other day, the local congi "hosts" in telangana refused to pay for the expenses as they claimed that their pockets were empty and this moneybag was "requested" by pappu to defray these expenses too and he willingly agreed.

However, pappu's firm choice for KAR cm is rumored to be another contender who hasn't put up even a single paisa so far and seems to be keeping his powder dry just in case he gets ditched at the very last minute.

in pappu's party, some are meant to be used and some others are going to be misused but like jailbird siddhu and guys like gehlot, many congis will always bite the hand that feeds/fed them, often causing long lasting damage to the mafia family.

kissa khatam paisa hazam or is it khana katam, khel katam......

Marriages under Muslim Personal Law not excluded from POCSO: Kerala HC

https://www.onmanorama.com/news/kerala/2022/11/20/marriages-under-muslim-personal-law-not-excluded-from-pocso-says-hc.html

November 20, 2022

Kochi: The Kerala High Court on Saturday ruled that a marriage between Muslims under personal law is not excluded from the provisions of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.

Justice Bechu Kurain Thomas said if one of the parties to the marriage is a minor, irrespective of the validity or otherwise of the marriage, offenses under the POCSO Act will apply.

According to Live Law, the court disagreed with the view taken by the Punjab and Haryana High Court in Javed v State of Haryana; by Delhi High Court in Fija and Another v State Govt. of NCT of Delhi and Others; and by Karnataka High Court in Mohammad Waseem Ahamad v State.

"With respect to the learned Judges, I am unable to agree to the proposition laid down in those decisions that an offence under the POCSO Act will not get attracted against a Muslim marrying a minor," Justice Thomas said.

The court made the observations in its order on the bail application moved by a 31-year-old Muslim man who is accused of kidnapping and raping a minor. His claim was that he had validly married the girl in March 2021 under the personal laws applicable to them. The accused was earlier booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and POCSO by Thiruvalla police.

Irrespective of their election wins or losses, no political party has questioned the competence or impartiality of the Election Commission. Why anyone else trying to see a problem with the EC is an important question to ponder based on 2021 US elections and 2024.

Mr Satyender Jain must thank his stars the burly masseur was only giving him what AAP claims was acupressure therapy.

One dreads to imagine what he would have received in the name of acupuncture therapy.

Swamy is a very good nationalistic intellectual. But the problem with intellectuals is they get carried away and don't understand their limitation. He needs to realize he cannot do much for the country if a right-thinking Mass leader like Modi can position him in the right spot. Look at EAM Jaishankar on the other hand, positioned at the right spot he is doing wonders. Swamy needs to understand in India power derives from the masses. To govern he needs to be part of the team. if not he will be left with spitting out opinions. Also, I feel sometimes he makes up theories out of his intellectual intuition. If you fact-check it may not come out right. Modi is not a person who will waste time on theories and innuendos. Also in spite of his appearance, Modi has a sharp sense of practicality.

Swamy is driven by self-importance, and that leads to jealousy, and infighting. Its’s a big problem within the dharmic side of personal importance. Uddhav is another example, who just couldnt digest that his (once) juniors are now leading the state. And now he is ready to surrender himself to the other side just to hurt his old partners. I could even add Advani as example, when he resigned. 2014 would be very different had that resignation not been resolved.

all show and no go.

Over the years, all his political dramatics and shenanigans have fallen by the wayside with no tangible results

"fixing" someone who got bail within minutes is no big deal.

However, conviction and jail time is proof of the pudding.

he works on the premise of "après moi, le déluge"

sadly with him, there was never a need for "moi" and no sign of any deluge anywhere and one feels that even his alleged unceremonious departure from harvard may have been stage managed to shore up his image of a "giant killer".

like a one trick pony, his usp is limited to biting every hand that was ever extended to him in friendship, and that is what will be carved on the headstone.

loyalty was never his long suit, but opportunism always was.

BIF starts to work right away... One person included in the selection process will solve the issue...

https://m.rediff.com/news/report/sc-bats-for-including-cji-in-picking-chief-election-commissioner-to-avoid-yes-man/20221123.htm

The apex court was of the view that any ruling party at the Centre ''likes to perpetuate itself in power'' and can appoint a 'yes man' to the post under the current system.

The Centre argued that a 1991 Act ensured the Election Commission remains independent in terms of salary and tenure to its members and there is no "trigger point" which warrants interference from the court.

On Tuesday, the top court had termed the exploitation of the "silence of the Constitution" and the absence of a law governing the appointments of election commissioners and chief election commissioners a "disturbing trend".

Delhi minister Satyender Jain moves an application in Delhi Court seeking court direction to restrain media to air/broadcasting any clip of CCTV related to him.

Court says will take up the matter tomorrow.

I think GOI should set up a committee to find if judges are being influenced by foreign NGOs/agencies and if their judgments are influenced by them in lieu of Green cards or funds awarded by foreign NGOs to their families

Prashant Bhushan is the tool. Nuland is the hand. US SD is the arm. The brain is safely enconsed behind Soros the nerve center.

Hiz Honners Mi Lord today has asked for appointment files of CEC. I think GOI should do that. Take a truckload of files and put all the files duly sealed in the Hon SC Judge's office.

An eye-opening thread on the corruption in the higher judiciary: Judges & even Chief Justices of HC and SC. Someone writing with 1st hand experience

I heard through a reliable source that the asking rate for a Madras High Court judge position was 6 Crores. Imagine the kickbacks the judge will expect if he was willing to pay that kind of money! Also imagine the power that can be purchased by say the church, to influence outcomes for the entire tenure of the said judge

Among knowledgeable circles, its also known that lawyers regularly meet judges on a monthly basis to settle the amount for the # of cases *fixed* that month. This happens at every level - from sessions court all the way to the SC

This Tells two things here. The government is efficient now. SC still is in an era where delay and Bureaucratic lethargy and inaction is seen as doing their job. :rotfl:
The comment section in ToI is full of people expressing their anger at the SC for their Collegium system and telling them not to cross the boundary. People has realized things. If govt takes firm stance and cleans up the system, the support for gov will go up not down.

For anyone who might still harbor a doubt about the way love jihad works or that family alone can stop this menace :

https://www.timesnownews.com/mirror-now/crime/convert-to-islam-will-marry-you-muslim-youth-blackmails-girl-after-sexually-assaulting-her-in-karnataka-anti-conversion-act-invoked-article-95701209

As per the complaint, the accused used the nude photos and pictures to blackmail the girl to have sex with him. On November 10, the accused came to the girl's granny's house and gave her sleeping pills and asked it to be mixed with the sambhar which her family members would be consuming.
The girl alleged that the Muslim youth came to her house on November 11 and sexually assaulted her. He also promised the girl to marry her if she converted to Islam.
The accused threatened to kill the girl and her family members if she spoke the truth, the complaint read.

The highlighted part is true not just in this case, but also

1) Media cleanup
2) Cutting babudom to size
3) Acting tough on CAA and Farmers protests

In every single one of these cases, the public see through the nonsense and would whole-heartedly support the hugely popular Modi sarkar if they acted tough. It'd be both a win for the nation and a political win. Sadly, they are too timid and seek approval from the people who despise them
