Madarssa recruiting to spike, thanks to an Out-standing education system
According to a report released by UNICEF, 70 percent children are out of school in Balochistan, and the highest number of out of school children belong to rural areas. Some bitter facts of the education system in the locations of Balochistan are explored in detail.

Dasht is a well known district situated to the west of Turbat city and considered as one of the districts in Balochistan which is full of small towns with the lowest education and literacy rate. A report was released by counsel students of Dasht who are reading in other cities, many schools in Dasht are nonfunctional and some of them are without teachers. I myself visited during the Eid holidays with my friends who live in Dasht, after seeing the sorry state of education and educational institutions, I felt deeply unhappy while the children were obliviously playing outside in the open boundaries of schools. I asked them what is the reason that they were playing outside? One of them replied what else were they supposed to do when their teachers were concerned about fulfilling their responsibility and would later hand them homework assignments.

On the other hand, Awaran is one of the most beautiful places in Balochistan, where school buildings were destroyed due to a big earthquake in 2013. The government promised to build new buildings, but they have turned their back on their promises. Due to this, the rate of out of school children and child labour increased dramatically in the area.
Key upshot:
the illiteracy rate in Balochistan is going to touch the sky.

Pak Govt solves Balochistan's water crisis:
Pakistan Navy successfully conducted rescue operation in Uthal, Balochistan and saved precious lives of civilians including women and children stranded in rain drains. :?: :?:
Upon request of District Administration Lasbela, Pakistan Navy promptly dispatched rescue team along with requisite equipment and boats to the rescue site.
Accordingly, 42 personnel including 20 men, 10 women and 12 children of Goth Ali Pur were rescued.
Prompt response to the stranded civilians is clear manifestation of professionalism and dedication of Pakistan Navy’s men for their countrymen. For once they managed to not sink their own boats!

Nice photos of targets. TFTA roads with no traffic.
These Baloch nationalists are up with arms because Beijing’s design is exploiting the area. Baloch nationalists is led by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). There was a number of attacks against Beijing’s assets.
Experts who are tracking Pakistan internal affairs quoted that “China is so called a partner with Pakistan in crime” and BLA believes that China is looting the natural resources of Balochistan.
These attacks of the Baloch Rebels highly affected Chinese economic Projects. Even the Chinese official meeting with the Baloch government held in very high security.
All these are constantly increasing the security cost of the Chinese projects to protect the Chinese personnel on CPEC projects at Balochistan.

Balochistan, with huge natural gas reserves, has PLENTY of energy and electric power
Presiding over the meeting of Standing Committee, the Chairman said that only 240 megawatt electricity was being provided to Balochistan which was very meager and people of the area were suffering sever load shedding. Members of committee belonging to Balochistan have pointed out that due to low voltage and load shedding people of province were facing difficulties adding that there was dire need to established new feeders to curb this issue.
They told the committee that agriculture, economy and other sectors of the province depended upon power and there was not a no go area in the province.
The Chairman committee said although there were issues of recovery of bills in Balochistan but these issues could be solved by adopting proper way {by extorting and robbing the peasants and raping their women and goats as usual}
Senator Sardar Shafique has strongly protested over the attitude of KESCO chief and said that officer was not ready to listen the issues of common peoples. :eek:

Rain in Balochistan
ISLAMABAD :Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has warned of a strong rain bearing system expected to approach Balochistan on Thursday night and grip southern parts of the country on Friday .
According to PMD a heavy rain-thunderstorm accompanied by a windstorm (gusting 80-120 km/h) is expected in parts of Balochistan, Sindh ( including Karachi) and Southern Punjab (Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan and Bahawalpur division) from Friday night to Saturday which could create an untoward situation.
All concerned authorities and general public have been urged by PMD to take precautionary measures during this period.
Dang! Bad for air operations, good for things that need to stay hidden from aerial spies.
P.S. You HAVE to see the photo of the Pakistan Meterological Department. :mrgreen:

March 1:
Baloch fighters hound Pakistan Army as Imran Khan govt shifts soldiers along LoC
https://static.asianetnews.com/images/a ... a56d47.jpg
By Siddhartha Rai
First Published 1, Mar 2019, 5:04 PM IS
New Delhi: Pakistan is rapidly moving its troops out of Balochistan and adjoining areas and redeploying them along the line of control (LoC), sources in Pakistan and Afghanistan confirmed to MyNation. According to information received from the province’s capital Quetta, and districts of North Waziristan and Khyber (the erstwhile Khyber Agency), in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, the Pakistani military has vacated a number of check points and the local force, called ‘Khasdar’, has been deployed. Sources in Balochistan told MyNation that the Pakistani army had forcefully marshalled passenger buses plying from Karachi to Quetta and between Turbat — the second largest city of the province — and Karachi for transporting soldiers from Balochistan to the LoC.

Over 100 trucks were also forcefully commandeered in Quetta by the Pakistan Army to move military personnel and equipment to the LoC. A transport company has provided the Pakistan Army more than 30 passenger buses for shifting army personnel from Balochistan to the LoC. Sources told MyNation that a military curfew was imposed in the vicinity of Quetta on Thursday night and military movement had been noted.

Sources added that Baloch freedom fighters were making the most of the situation by attacking and ambushing Pakistani army personnel and also Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) assets and operatives. “The Baloch fighters are taking, on an average, 20-25 Pakistani soldiers captive everyday. The sentiment is that the right time had come to use Pakistan’s vulnerable position and press for freedom,” a source in Balochistan said.

Sources said that Pakistan had shifted its personnel to safe hideouts in Balochistan. :((
Pakistan has also been shifting its air force personnel to safe hideouts in Quetta. Sources also revealed that the hostile neighbour intended to fight a ground-based infantry war with India, fully using its “war proxies and tools”.
A large number of check points in the Khyber district have been vacated by the army. However, the check points still exist in the main forts.
A central leader of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), though, said that the Pakistan Army would never fully vacate the now defunct Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Balochistan.
Meanwhile, according to latest information from across the border, the Pakistani army had gathered its personnel in Nowshera and from there, moving the personnel towards the LoC. The Pakistan Army has also vacated Malakand and Mohmand districts, apart from Khyber.
Army movement has also been noted from Jani Khel in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and also from the North Waziristan district. In Bannu too, the Pakistan Army forcefully commandeered trucks for shifting personnel.

Small wonder that PA is reported to be commandeering trucks, scooter, rickshas, anything, to get out of Balochistan and head to the Line of Control in the East. Much safer, apart from the occasional F-16 / Thundaar falling from the sky preceded by their pilots in parachutes. :rotfl:
Just scroll back in this thread and compare to the 1,732,000 posts in certain threads on the MIL-forum about ONE Paki plane (2 pilots beaten to death) and a few PA hit by shelling in the same duration. Balochistan gives new meaning to the term:

Train explosion, so it makes it into US MSM :roll:
bomb went off in one of the cars of a Quetta-bound train early Sunday, damaging five cars. He says two men and a woman were killed, and that women and children were among the wounded.
GelfNews:
Quetta: Four people were killed and 10 injured in Pakistan on Sunday when a bomb went off on a train track. Four people, a teenage girl, her mother and two others were killed in the blast” Irfan Bashir, police chief of Naseerabad district where the blast occurred, told Reuters.
The blast derailed six carriages of the train, which was travelling from the northwestern city of Peshawar to the Baluchistan provincial capital of Quetta.
Not good, these types of attacks, although they damage infrastructure. Not hitting PA directly.

Train attack not good. But damaging gas pipeline has impact beyond just PA. First of all it’s humane and it cripples not just Pak but also China.

It’s like Dandi March 2.0 but enormously more effective.

All media are focusing only on Negative News like train derailment. Now toll up to 5.

But let's focus on Positive News: Balochistan [{b]leads[/b] in Not Using Haraam Electric Power. Pakjabis recommend Djinn Power instead.}
People are continuously {enjoying} long hours of load-shedding. The issue is growing speedily, and conditions are being deteriorated day by day. The long hours of load-shedding are continued in the heat of summer as well. During the summer, people become unconscious because of heatwave. Though people are dying in Karachi in the summer, the current situation of Balochistan may surpass Karachi; ... Mostly poor people will die, as they already have nothing – without electricity, they would only face problems. During winter, the electricity demand becomes low in Punjab, Sindh and KP as compared to summer. Balochistan {load-shedding is thriving} even during winter . ..Quetta {has achieved} load-shedding of 6 to 8 hours. Other district headquarters have 12 to 14 hours of load-shedding. ..small towns and villages {are most advanced}, .. only receive electricity for 6 hours per day. Some villages {are even better!!}receive electricity just for two hours in two days. That’s two hours in 48 hours, and that type of load-shedding is unheard of in the rest of {pakistan}. It is estimated that Balochistan requires a total of 1,650 MW. Presently, Balochistan is supplplied 300-400 MW. According to Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO), supply to the province has been decreased just due to unpaid bills which have reached Rs.130 billion. Electricity companies in Punjab and Sindh have huge amount of unpaid bills, but supply to the provinces has not decreased, but rather increased, {in the best traditions of Jinnah's thievery}. These provinces have gotten funds and other support, but Balochistan is the most neglected {self-reliant} province and receiving nothing from the government.

Balochistan Best Market For Pakistan's 3rd Greatest Product
GWADAR:
Drug abuse in Balochistan is a growing {market} epidemic with little {competition}. According to a 2013 United Nations report, there are {only} 230,000 {consumers} in Balochistan. The location of the Pak-Afghan border and easy movement of people across it allows large quantities of drugs to flow into the country from Afghanistan. While most of the narcotics are intended to just pass through Pakistan and on to other countries, a large chunk of it is used by locals too.

Unluckily,drugs and narcotics trafficking has become the order of the day in Balochistan’s city of Turbat where narcotics is being traded publicly. {This is giving a bad name to Pakistan as AK-47s and IEDs were the top industry before}. According to a 2015 report by Senate’s Sleeping Committee on Interior and Narcotics, nearly 8.9 million people in Pakistan are drug {loyal consumers} while 700 people die everyday across the country due to drug-related complications. The severity of dependence amongst opiate users is the highest in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Among regular opiate users, three-fourths make use of more than one substance; the most commonly found combination being of heroin, cannabis and other tranquilising drugs. Balochistan has the highest use of these combinations, with almost 25 per cent of consumers using this, a total of only 1.6 per cent of the province’s population. The intake of drugs through injections has also led to a rise in HIV and blood-borne diseases that are passed through unhygienic and multiple use of syringes. Out of the total number of HIV-positive people of Balochistan, 2.1 per cent were those who had used intravenous drugs. {Since 1.6 percent are regular consumers, this blows the idea that needs are the source of HIV-positivity}. The effects of substance abuse are feltenjoyed by many people, either directly or indirectly. The UN estimates that more than 800,000 people between the ages of 15 to 64 are addicted to the use of heroin on a regular basis, in Pakistan. {Less than 1/10 of the 8.9 million cited above!! So 90% use other drugs than Herrowin, or are younger than 15 or older than 64?}

This is a shocking number as around 44 tons of processed heroin is consumed every year in the country. {works out to 55kg per user.}
etc.

And (drumroll!!) Right On Cue for above Market Opportunity:
Private sector to play role for promotion of industries in Balochistan
KHUZDAR: Balochistan Chief Secretary Dr Akhtar Nazeer has said that model projects would be launched jointly with the private sector for promotion of industries in the province. Presiding over a meeting at the office the Lasbela Industrial Estates Development Authority (Lieda)...
Secretary Power-Pasand Khan :eek: Buledi, Kalat Commissioner Hafiz Tahir Kakar, Lasbela Deputy Commissioner Shabbir Ahmed Mengal and Industries Secretary Noor Mohammad Jogazai also attend the meeting. “Lieda should play its role in Chinese firm’s desalination plant project.” He directed the officers concerned to prepare a plan for the development of an industrial zone. Lieda Managing Director Aslam Tareen and the industries secretary briefed the meeting since most came without briefs under their burkhas. “Lasbela is the economic hub of Balochistan and gateway of CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) project,” .. Lasbela has a large number of industries and playing a vital role in baksheesh generation for Balochistan. .. provincial finance department had allocated Rs100 million for developing infrastructure, including construction and repair of roads. After baksheesh, 10 million is still available. Lieda would hire a consultancy firm in the first week of April and tenders would be issued in two weeks. The business community had been invited to join this project, which would be completed till June 30 this year, he added. {Djinn Majik}. The meeting was informed that the minister secretariat had approved the industrial development project and Rs300m would be released for it. The mining sector is playing a key role in development of industrial sector. Chief secretary was informed that 200,000 tonnes of marble was supplied to Karachi from Balochistan daily. {What kind of transport system?}
“The provincial government has established Gadani Marble City to promote mining in the province.” chief secretary directed Lieda to work on the feasibility for the water and sewerage treatment plant. He said grey water, not clean drinking water, was used by industries across the world. He directed the authorities to register labourers working in Hub industries with the help of the Lasbela Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

imposed Section 144 in the city for six months, under which roads cannot be dug up or cut. The ban will be on both private companies and government institutions. The Best Solution is To Assume Multiple Identities
There is no harm in a single person having multiple identities. These thoughts were expressed at a two-day talk on ‘Existence with Multiple Identities’, organised by the Pakistan Institute for Peace Studies (PIPS) :roll: with a select group of terrorists, academics, lawyers and social scientists from Balochistan and Sindh. PIPS Director Muhammad Amir Rana moderated..
Several participants complained that the state, in its attempt to enforce a particular brand of identity from the top, ended up excluding local identities. Even now the state is seen as tilted to some groups at the cost of others. youth in different parts of the country have either accepted dichotomies or turned confused. In Balochistan, one participant noted, the youth feel insecure, physically as well as mentally. The dialogues noted that many youngsters are migrating abroad to seek better job opportunities or make themselves secure. A well-off segment of society is anxious in not expressing one’s opinions openly. They too are among the migrants.

The train tragedy is being painted as
It was the second train attack in two weeks in the area. No casualties were reported in the earlier blast, said another police officer.
So the Track Renewal Program is underway in full swing. The derailment was unintended. Maybe the train came on schedule, which caught everyone totally by surprise. Or maybe it was yesterday's train... early.
No news todin :oops: All Quiet On The Western Front. Maybe a few track renewals underway. :mrgreen:

Balochistan Needs More Madarssas and Goat-Sheds!
Keeping in view the fabulous situation in sectors of health and education, Senators, on Monday, demanded the government to release 50 per cent of the funds allocated for Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) 2018-19, for baksheesh.

While presiding over the Senate Bending Committee on Planning Development and Reform, Senator Usman Kakar, asserted (never mind).

The education standard in Balochistan was said to be far below that of the Superor standards in other parts of the country. Kakar also raised concerns regarding the non-availability of medicines in hospitals across Balochistan, due to which they were unable to provide even basic treatment to poor and needy patients.
The government of Sindh committed that it would develop the command area of 28,800 acres land in synchronization with the main dam within two years. It was revealed that regarding the clause (iii) of the decision, the advice of the Law and Justice Division would be solicited accordingly. Upon an inquiry into the delay by the committee chairman, it was said that the project had a setback largely because of a change in design due to a consultancy error. The committee stressed the need to thoroughly investigate the matter and determine the entity at fault along with their intentions. the K-IV Water Supply Scheme spread over 121 kilometres from Thatta to Karachi would provide an alternate water supply scheme from Kenjhar Lake to Karachi. Even though the project was first conceived in 2007, it was still said to stand incomplete despite the passage of two years.
Numerous revisions in design, bridge, fencing and ancillary work were also said to be made because the engineers were educated in Balochistan. The senators ordered an inquiry regarding the details of the revisions. Senator Zuberi was of the view that all details of the project must be sent to Pakistan Engineering Council for analysis as it was an autonomous body trained in Pakjab.
