Indian Origin Columnist for the Wall Street Journal, Sadanand Dhume, writes an article in that paper titled “Pakistan’s Unconvincing Strategic Shift” on the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s Mohammadden Terrorism fomenting ways:

………….. the argument goes, the Islamic republic is in the midst of completing a wrenching strategic shift away from fomenting terrorism and toward fighting it instead.

But though this view appears to have become popular wisdom in Pakistan, it finds few takers elsewhere

Many Pakistanis view international skepticism toward their country’s war on terrorism as evidence that the world refuses to give Pakistan a fair shake.

In Washington, a parade of visiting Pakistani diplomats and retired generals counsel patience. They portray their country’s fight against the TTP as evidence of a change of heart. Eventually, the argument goes, the army will move against all jihadists. Who can reasonably be expected to take them all on at one go?

The trouble with this story boils down to asking the world to trust Pakistan to do the right thing when it has spent at least the past 35 years doing precisely the wrong thing: arming, funding and training assorted jihadists to fight in Afghanistan and India.

Pakistan’s Unconvincing Strategic Shift
Islamabad needs to go after all terrorists, not merely those who hurt Pakistan.

By Sadanand Dhume
Sept. 13, 2015 1:43 p.m. ET

Ever since last year’s horrific attack on a school in Peshawar, Pakistan’s government has gone into overdrive to convince the world that its attitude toward terrorism has changed. As the argument goes, the Islamic republic is in the midst of completing a wrenching strategic shift away from fomenting terrorism and toward fighting it instead.
......

For now, Pakistan doesn’t show the slightest inclination to touch the likes of Messrs. Saeed and Haqqani. Skeptics are right to dismiss Pakistan’s alleged strategic shift as nothing more than a clever move to dress up narrow self-interest as a profound national reorientation.

X Posted from the “India-US Relations : News and Discussion- II” thread.

arun wrote:In an unfriendly to India act, the US grants visa to Islamic Republic of Pakistan backed Mohammadden separatist, Syed Ali Shah Geelani.

How come those seeking to separate from India on the flimsy basis of following Mohammaddenism have such an easy time getting visa’s to the US when an elected Indian constitutional representative like our current Prime Minister Narendra Modi was for years denied an US Visa?

Ahead of US visit, Centre suspends Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani's passport for 4 weeks

Likely the grant of a Visa by the US to Mohammadden separatist Geelani was a nod and a wink from the US to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan not to get too perturbed by the U.S.-India Joint Declaration on Combatting Terrorism and that the US will take care of her Major Non NATA ally’s interests, a few diplomatically harsh words notwithstanding.

Meanwhile I cannot see the U.S.-India Joint Declaration on Combatting Terrorism on the US State Departments website which was announced yesterday in the US. Result of a lack of diligent search on my part, inefficiency on the part of the US State Department or something all the more sinister and in the nature of US perfidy targeting India? Has anyone else perchance spotted it on the US State Department website and if so can the please post the link?

In the interim, FWIW, the full text of the cannot be found by me U.S.-India Joint Declaration on Combatting Terrorism on State Department website as posted on our Ministry of External affairs website.

Note Islamic Republic of Pakistan specific content:

Reiterate the threat posed by entities such as Al-Qa’ida and its affiliates, Lashkar-e-Tayibba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, D Company, and the Haqqani Network, and other regional groups that seek to undermine stability in South Asia;

Call for Pakistan to bring to justice the perpetrators of the 2008 Mumbai attack;

Strongly condemn the July 27, 2015 terrorist attack in Gurdaspur, Punjab, and August 5, 2015, attack in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir;

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan reaps the Blowback of the years of State sponsorship of Mohammadden Terrorism  .

arun wrote:The Islamic Republic of Pakistan admits that it cannot provide security for holding the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation‘s (Comstech) summit meeting  .

Apparently this realisation dawned after invitations had been sent out and “almost a dozen heads of state have confirmed to attend the summit”.

This development has resulted other OIC members getting so miffed with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan that there is talk of the presently Islamic Republic based Secretariat of Comstech getting shifted out.

India must use this admission of security problems and inability to protect invitees as a precedent to block the Islamic Republic of Pakistan from being allowed to host any event be it of a political or sporting or of whatever nature in which India is involved.

Pakistan cancels first Comstech summit over ‘security concerns’ :

Pakistan has informed the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) that it cannot hold the first ever Comstech summit for security reasons.

Pakistan had offered to host the summit in 2013 and the event was to be held next month. Thirty-six member states have already confirmed their participation. The summit was originally to be held in April of this year but was postponed on directions from the Prime Minister’s Office after the terrorist attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar.

The latest delay came after the terrorist attack on Badaber Military Complex in Peshawar. The Foreign Office has decided “not to take a risk with the security of the participating dignitaries”.

This may now mean that the secretariat of the OIC’s Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (Comstech) will be moved to another OIC member state. ……………………….

RCase wrote:Innocuous sounding headline - Five people stabbed on US campus, suspect is killed

No bonus points for guessing why this is posted here.

From other sources ...

Suspect's name - Faisal Mohammad of Santa Clara, CA. He was a freshman studying computer science at UC Merced. {I am ready to wager that the ethnicity of this lad will be traceable to the Land of the Pure}

"We are in the preliminary stages of our inquiry, but based on the evidence gathered so far, including at the crime scene and at the suspect's campus dormitory room, we have no reason to believe that this was in any way related to terrorism.

"At this point, it would be irresponsible to draw such conclusions based solely on the ethnicity of the suspect.

"At this point in time, the preliminary evidence suggests that freshman computer science and engineering student Faisal Mohammad of Santa Clara appears to have been motivated by personal animosities, not a political agenda.

The dhimmi sheriff's response ...

Sheriff Warnke said the FBI looked into Mohammad's background and family and found nothing to indicate terrorist ties. When asked about an ISIS tweet that praised Mohammad's actions, Warnke said ISIS was most likely just taking advantage of the attacker's ethnic name to instill terror.

You guessed it right, links go back to the Land of the Pure and the Home of the Terrorist. Mohammadden student Faisal Mohammad who ran amok on the University of California, Merced campus has his origins in the epicentre of Mohammadden Terrorism, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The Fresno Bee citing Daniel Mayfield, an attorney who was reported as saying he was representing the family Faisal Mohammad on a pro bono basis said Faisal Mohammad’s parents were immigrants from where else but the Mohammadden Terrorism breeding country of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:

In the first public statement since the Nov. 4 attack, family members of Faisal Mohammad said they wished to thank friends who provided “their support in this time of grief.”

“We also want to express our deepest sympathy to the victims on campus at UC Merced.

“Faisal was a kind and respectful young man. He was always quiet and humble and excelled in school and academics. His teachers and friends always spoke well of him.”

The statement was released by Daniel Mayfield, an attorney who said he was representing the Santa Clara family pro bono. Mayfield, who is based in San Jose, said he did not know the Mohammad family before the attack, but had worked previously with members of the area’s Muslim community and had been recommended to them.

He declined to provide identifying information about the family. Mohammad’s parents, he said, were immigrants from Pakistan. The teen and his two sisters, one older and one younger, were all born in the United States.

It looks like this thread is going to be dead soon. The Pakistanis have been pushed from their pole position of global terrorism mantle by the new kid on the block, IS!

ISI and its terrorist babies will be solely focussed on Indo-afghan-china region from now onwards.

This has serious implications, because Pak can't blackmail the west anymore for more goodies.

“SIX Brits are being quizzed by cops in Belgium as the country remains gripped by fear over an "serious and imminent attack".

The suspects - reported to be Pakistani-born UK nationals - were arrested after being spotted inside three old ambulances in Brussels, as the capital was on a full scale terror alert.

Armed anti-terror cops swooped close to an Esso petrol station said to be often used by fugitive Paris attacker Salah Abdeslam, who remains at large.

A convoy of six armoured trucks and a police car surrounded the ambulances after they stopped on a highway in Bierges, south east Brussels, at around 2pm yesterday afternoon.

The six suspects were last night still being quizzed by cops while officers raided the ambulances for potential clues.” :

Honduras detains Syrian, Pakistanis traveling illegally: police
TEGUCIGALPA

Honduran police arrested a Syrian woman and two Pakistani men on Saturday after determining they were traveling illegally and presumably en route to the United States, authorities said.

The woman had a photocopy of a Syrian passport and the two men described themselves as Pakistani but did not carry passports, police commissioner Leonel Sauceda clarified to Reuters. None entered through an official border crossing, Sauceda said earlier.

"They entered at a blind spot," he said.

The three were detained on a public bus in the Central American country's southern Choluteca state, at a highway checkpoint after having entered Honduras from Nicaragua.

Another police official who declined to give his name because he was not authorized to talk about the case said nearly all migrants detained in the area are traveling en route to the United States.

The Honduran police have identified the Syrian woman as 39-year-old Hanna Maissoun. The two Pakistanis are Muhammad Shafiq, 30, and Nassem Abbas, 21, the police said.
It was not immediately clear how long they have been in the region.
Earlier this week, Honduran authorities detained five Syrian nationals traveling on doctored Greek passports.
The five men had been fleeing conflict in Syria and had been trying to get to the United States when they were stopped, the authorities said.
Honduran police said there were no signs of any links to the Nov. 13 suicide bombings and shootings in Paris that killed 130 people. Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attacks.
The five were part of a wider group of seven Syrian nationals who acquired forged passports in Brazil and then went by land to Argentina on their way north, a U.S. government source familiar with the case said. The source also said there was no evidence to suggest the men were militants.
(This version of the story has been officially corrected to show that the police corrected the passport status of detained people in the second paragraph.)

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan discloses that 3,157 personnel of law enforcement agencies and of 5,532 civilians were killed due to terrorism during the last five years.

Only fitting that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan who fomented State Sponsored Mohammadden Jihadi Terrorism in order to attempt to intimidate neighbours like India and Afghanistan has seen her onetime “brotherly” Jihadi “strategic assets” become Frankenstein’s monster and inflict Mohammadden Terrorism on the Islamic Republic herself. Having sown the wind of Mohammadden Terrorism long may Pakistan continue to reap the whirlwind of Mohammadden Terrorism.

Excerpt:

ISLAMABAD:
For the first time, the government has shared consolidated figures of the total loss of lives caused due to terrorism during the last five years. The statistics also include details regarding the total number of terrorists killed, sentenced to death or awaiting their death sentence. The interior ministry provided the statistics in the National Assembly during the question hour on Friday.

According to the reply, a total of 3,157 personnel of law enforcement agencies (LEA) were killed and 5,988 injured during this period. At the same time, a total of 5,532 civilians were killed and 10,195 were injuries.

The woman who took part in the ISIS-inspired San Bernardino massacre is linked to her native country's most notorious radical mosque, American officials believe.
Sources have told Daily Mail Online that US officials handed over information to their Pakistani counterparts about links between Tashfeen Malik and the Red Mosque in Islamabad.
The mosque is infamous for its links to violence and authorities in Pakistan are now considering taking action against its preacher, Maulana Abdul Aziz, after the disclosures by US officials.
It is unclear currently how law enforcement and intelligence agencies in the US have connected Malik to the mosque.

Malik is now known to have proclaimed her loyalty to ISIS shortly before the attack.

American officials have now held crisis talks with one of Pakistan's most senior figures Shahbaz Sharif, brother of prime minister Nawaz Sharif, at the country's High Commission in London, sources revealed.
Sources with knowledge of the meeting told Daily Mail Online that the US had handed over 'some proofs' of links to the Red Mosque, known in Urdu as Lal Masjid.
Pakistani authorities were described as 'seriously thinking' of how to take action against Aziz, the chief cleric of the mosque

Where is the Bad Sharif in all of this ? should he not bear responsibility and take necessary action, being the de facto PM of Pakiland; is it fair to let the D.C. of Islamabad's (NS) clever brother, Shahabaz, to deal with the Amerikhans on this problem !
Malik was born in Pakistan and lived there until the age of two then raised in Saudi Arabia, where she lived in Riyadh where her father, Gulzar Ahmed Malik is thought still to live.
Saudi sources told ABC News that she had traveled back and forward between the two countries.
She returned to Pakistan in 2010 to study pharmacy at the Bahauddin Zakariyah University in Multan. The city, in the south of the Punjab, is believed to be where her family originally came from.( and a hotbed of Islamic fundamentalism)
Public records show that she was a high-achieving student. (
There are conflicting accounts of her educational achievements. She completed a three-year master's degree in pharmacy. (US reports indicated that she spoke only "broken english" )

There is sufficient information here to conclude that she was completely "radicalized" by the kind of education she may have received in Saudia ; other US reports indicated that she was rarely "out of a burqa" .

Reuters portrait of the Pakistani women Tashfeen Malik' who along with her Pakistani origin husband Syed Rizwan Farook was involved in the San Bernardino, California, US shooting which killed 14.

Reuters reports she was born in Karor Lal Esan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s Punjab province aka Pakjab and as a toddler moved to Saudi Arabia. She returned to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to study at Bahauddin Zakariya University in Multan to become a pharmacist.

Reuters also says that CNN reported that one U.S. official said Malik had made the pledge to al-Baghdadi in a posting on Facebook on Wednesday, the day of the attack, under an account that used a different name. That makes this an act of Mohammadden Terrorism.

Reuters further says Malik was related to Ahmed Ali Aulak, a former Pakistani provincial minister:

The deadly link between San Bernardino and Pakistan

The link between California shooters and Pakistan has once again highlighted the danger the country poses as a terror exporter. US-based Islamism expert Arif Jamal tells DW why Washington can no longer ignore the threat.:

Deutsche Welle

Female Mohammadden Terrorist Tashfeen Malik turns out not only being linked to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s former Punjab Province Minister Ahmed Ali Aulak and radical Mohammadden Cleric of Islamabad’s Lal Masjid, Maulana Abdul Aziz, but this article reveals that her family members were linked to Sunni Mohammadden terrorist group specialising in exterminating Shia Mohammaddens, the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat aka ASWJ which was formerly known as Sipah-e-Sahaba.

Attempts to downplay role of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Mohammadden religion based radicalisation of Tashfeen Malik by palming of the role to Saudi Arabia should be treated with circumspection:

Pakistani in California shooting became hardline in S.Arabia-relatives

Meanwhile the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s Deep State is claiming that Tasfeen Malik has no link to Ahmed Ali Aulak, Maulana Abdul Aziz or Bahauddin Zakariya University. The Islamic Republic’s position is that “The action of the pair (Tashfeen and her husband) appears to be a ‘lone wolf attack’ which is either self-motivated or carried out taking self-inspiration from some radicals. We could not establish any direct or indirect connection of Tashfeen with any extremist individual or group. The only fact that has come out so far is that she did hold a Pakistani passport.”:

Confused US media.

The New York Times claims female Mohammadden Terrorist Tashfeen Malik involved in the San Bernardino Shooting in the US which killed 14 stood out while NBC News goes the opposite way and claims Tasfeen did not stand out. Confusion aside link of the female Mohammadden Terrorist to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is getting play.

Ethnic Punjabi Military dominated Deep State of the Islamic Republic picks up the tempo from denial to preventing foreign media from carrying out their job in order to stymie reporting on links of the San Bernardino Mohammadden Terrorist attack to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:

X Posted from the STFUP thread with a hat tip to Chetak.

The wall Street Journal (WSJ) reports that between the two Mohammadden Terrorists involved in the San Bernardino killings in the US, the one with the closer links to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan by virtue not only of origin but of nationality and studying there was the driving force for Mohammadden radicalisation. That is the female component of the Pakistani origin duo, Tashfeen Malik.

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan is certainly doing its “Fortress of Islam” bit by continuing fomenting Mohammadden Terrorism around the world:

San Bernardino Wife Believed to Be Driving Force to Radicalism : Husband apparently was curious, but not particularly driven on his own to support terror groups, officials say

Two suspected of links to Paris attacks arrested in Austria refugee center (one of them is from Pakistani origin) (reuters.com)

Two people have been arrested at a refugee center in the Austrian city of Salzburg on suspicion of being connected to last month's Paris attacks, the Salzburg prosecutors' office said on Wednesday.

The two are men who are thought to have provided help to members of the group that carried out the attacks on Nov. 13 in which 130 people were killed, two Austrian newspapers reported.

National tabloid Kronen Zeitung said they were French, of Algerian and Pakistani origin, and entered Europe through Greece on fake Syrian passports with members of the group that carried out the Paris attacks.

Joh Lahore mein Gan*u woh London mein bhi Gan*u.

Mohammadden couple by name of Mohammed Rehman and Sana Ahmed Khan with origins in the terrorist fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan “found guilty of plotting a massive terror attack in London ahead of the 10th anniversary of the July 7 bombings this year”:

Pak-origin ‘Silent Bomber’ couple jailed for life over London terror plot

A bit more from the UK’s Daily Mail on Mohammed Rehman’s links to the terrorist fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan:

………… Rehman, who was already a heavy cannabis user, walked out on an arranged marriage in Pakistan when his wife was four months pregnant and returned to Britain.

The child died six weeks after she was born, without Rehman ever seeing her or bothering to return for the funeral.

He had worked at Tesco until he was fired for stealing a chocolate bar and then went to work as a delivery driver for Dominos Pizzas but after returning from Pakistan he never worked again and was constantly borrowing money from his parents to pay his drug debts. …………….

Afghan media outlet Tolo News quoting Sayed Kamal Sadat, Chief of Police of Afghanistan’s Balkh Province , says that the Uniformed Jihadi’s of the Punjabi dominated military of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were involved in the attack on the India’s Herat Consulate

The Police Chief’s comment was quoted by Tolo News as being:

"We saw with our own eyes and I can say 99 percent that those attackers were from Pakistani military and used special tactics while conducting their operation," said Sadat.

"The attackers were military personnel. They were educated and well prepared and had intelligence. They fought us and only by Allah's grace were we able to control them and eliminate them,".

Strange spectacle of UK’s "The Economist" making nice to India  and endorsing the Mohammadden Terrorist fomenting predilections of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Excerpts:

With more imagination than evidence, Pakistani conspiracy theorists saw India behind both acts of violence on their soil. {i.e.: Bacha Khan University and Army Public School Attacks}

Yet Pakistan offers no evidence of Indian involvement in attacks on its territory, whereas Indian officials have offered “actionable intelligence” linking JeM to the air-base attack

Mohammad Taqi, journalist from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in an article in Huffington Post titled “Pakistan Shifting Blame to Afghanistan for Its Jihadist Blunders”:

The sooner Pakistan realizes that it is not one bad fish but a rotten jihadist ecosystem, almost exclusively of its own making, that has inflicted such incredible misery on the whole region, the better.

Taqi on the links between the uniformed Jihadi’s of the Punjabi dominated Military of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the un-uniformed Jihadi’s:

Pakistani military still sticks to its dangerous definition of the "good" jihadists who fight against the Afghan government and India and the "bad" jihadists who attack Pakistan. The problem is that the good, the bad and the ugly jihadists consort together and share cadres as well as similar sanctuaries, recruiting grounds and training facilities.
