(RTTNews) - An Indian soldier was killed in a fierce gun-battle with militants in the insurgency-torn northern-most state of Jammu and Kashmir bordering Pakistan on Wednesday night.

Noor Hussain, member of local territorial army unit Rashtriya Rifles, was shot dead while serving as part of a joint police-military operation in search of suspects linked to last year's New Delhi High Court bombing in Palmar area of Kishtwar district, police said on Thursday.

Acting on a tip-off that a top militant commander who is on the lookout list was hiding in the area, security forces advanced to cordon his hide-out. Militants fired on the approaching force, which returned fire, resulting in an hour-long encounter.

Security forces have been targeting Kishtawar, about 280 kilometers south-west of capital Srinagar, in search of suspects of the Delhi court bombing.

Fourteen people were killed and 76 others injured in a powerful bomb explosion outside the New Delhi High Court on September 7.

Hyderabad bomb blasts: Five young students among 14 dead
PTI | Feb 22, 2013, 11.27 AM IST
HYDERABAD: A trip to purchase books for the exam of sub-inspector in excise department proved to be the last outing of Vijay Kumar, who was among the five students killed in the twin blasts in the city.

Among the other students killed was Rajasekhar, who was pursuing MBA, Harish, an engineering student from Kottapet locality in the city, and Swapna, another MBA student.

Vijay Kumar had come to the site to purchase some books as he was preparing to take the examination for the post of sub-inspector in prohibition and excise department when the blast took place.

Another deceased student - Azaz Ahmed - of Kottagudem in Khammam too had came to purchase books.

Bodies of 13 out of the 14 killed in the blast have been identified.

Of the 119 injured, most of them are in the age group of 19 to 22 years, police said.

Two powerful near simultaneous blasts had ripped through a crowded area close to a cluster of bus stands in Dilsukhnagar area on Thursday.

The blasts, triggered by improvised explosive devices (IED) tied to two bicycles, took place at two sites 100 metres apart outside a roadside eatery near Konark and Venkatadiri theatres in the area, located on the Hyderabad-Vijaywada national highway in Cyberabad police limits.

Dilsukhnagar is one of the densely populated and busy corridors of the city as bus stop here connects to almost all the parts of Hyderabad. A large fleet of buses make a halt here to pickup and drop commuters.

The area also has a number of educational institutions and one of the business markets in the city.

Suspected terrorists targeted the area for the second time in ten years.

Earlier, the area had witnessed an explosion in 2002 near Saibaba temple in which two persons were killed.

1) Did you know, that soon after 26/11 , a book was written to implicate RSS in 26/11 attack ? (Aziz Burney's book 'RSS ki Sazish 26/11?')
and was inaugrated by none other than our respected Digvijay Singh ji.

2) Chidambaram and Shinde see the hand of Saffron Terror in every attack, before investigations reveal otherwise.

3) Wikileaks revealed that when Rahul Gandhi visited US, he said that India has greater threat from Saffron Terror, than any other form of terror. (http://www.timesnow.tv/Rahul-worried-ab ... 360704.cms)

4) If Ajmal Kasab had not been captured alive and had not confessed his crimes, the govt. of India would have proved it as a case of Saffron Terror (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DSrg3TLufs)

5) The media always hints at saffron terror but when the names of terrorists from 'minority community' comes in , they say "terror has no religion" .
When terror is indeed done in the name of religion, they say "Not all momins are terrorists"

We are being branded terrorists in our own home and one day they they will succeed, because this government is against us.
Because we vote for 100 different reasons for 100 different parties and divide our votes.
On the other hand, The shrewd 'Vote Banks' vote for just one thing - power to their community.

Looks like there has been an attack, on French soldiers, in Nice. Another Coulibaly. A Moussa, this time

French police are still trying to figure what is what. Calling him an unbalanced person who has a penchant for attacking police officers seems like a lame way of calling a terrorist attack.

Pitiable.

And oh, looks like he had Turkish Lire on him and was recently sent back from Istanbul. Oh...

PeeAref is behind the curve or what? Ignoring Baki efforts, hain? Banner Day for Pakistan!

http://www.cnn.com/2015/06/26/europe/fr ... index.html

One dead in France, and it becomes a TERROR ATTACK?
The suspect is "somebody who was in touch with (Muslim fundamentalist) Salafists," French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said. The man had been under surveillance (because he looked different) but was not previously involved in terrorist activities, he said. French authorities are "investigating any other people that could be accomplices," Cazeneuve said. French President Francois Hollande confirmed that the incident at a factory in southeastern France was a "pure terrorist attack."
Hollande said a body had been found, along with a severed head with a message. He (Inspecteur Renault De Clouseau) said Le (Usual) Soospect has been arrested and eedentified.

Now this more like a Paki terrist attack
At least 27 dead in terror attack at Tunisia hotel
..at least some of whom were guests at the Hotel Riu Imperial Marhaba in Sousse, TAP reported.
figures are preliminary. operation was still underway Friday afternoon after Tunisian security forces exchanged gunfire with the attackers.

Inflatable boats got blown all the way from K'rachi to Sousse instead of Mumbai? Or new Paki-GPS satellite giving directions?

And this from Shiite-Mosque Vacuum Bulb Burst in Kuwait:

An apparent bomb blast tore through a mosque in Kuwait's capital during Friday prayers, state-run television reported Friday.

Deaths and injuries were reported, but Kuwait TV did not give numbers.

ISIS claimed responsibility for what it called a suicide bombing, saying it had killed and injured dozens at the Shiite-affiliated Al-Sadiq mosque.

Cell phone video posted to social media and apparently shot at the mosque showed worshippers walking and stumbling through a dust- and rubble-filled interior, many with their white robes splattered in what appeared to be blood. (No it was Rooh Afza?)

Afghanistan: 300 schoolgirls hit by suspected Taliban poison gas attacks in Herat

September 4, 2015

At least 300 girls have been admitted to hospitals after facing suspected gas attacks in their schools. Authorities believe the mysterious gas poisoning was carried out by those with suspected links to Taliban extremists. The girls's age ranges from nine to 18.

Three separate gas attacks were reported from Herat province. More than 140 girls fell ill immediately after inhaling toxic fumes in one of the schools. Two days later, a similar incident hit another school. Many teachers were also taken to hospital.

Nazia, one of the affected students, told Afghan Pajhwok News: "When I entered the classroom, there was a very strong smell. When I went home, I fell unconscious."

Another student named Atri Gul said: "When I entered the class my teacher asked us to go out. Then I didn't understand what had happened."

Though the exact cause of the incidents has not been established as yet, officials suspect Taliban's hand. The victims' parents alleged the gas attacks were carried out by opponents of the government. The Islamist militant group is vehemently opposed to education for girls and has been waging a deadly campaign. In July, some miscreants threw acid on three teenage girls while they were on their way to school.

Similar gas-poisoning attacks were launched by Taliban insurgents six years ago affecting dozens of schoolgirls in north eastern Afghanistan. Before the US government uprooted the Taliban regime, women were not allowed to go to school during the Islamist rule between 1996 and 2001.

Terrorist strike in Nigeria:

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/nov/17/heavy-casualties-feared-after-nigerian-explosion

Heavy casualties are feared after a bomb blast ripped through packed crowds in Yola, north-east Nigeria, just days after the president, Muhammadu Buhari, visited declaring that terrorist organisation Boko Haram was close to defeat.

“The explosion happened in the midst of a large crowd because the area houses a livestock market, an open-air eatery and a mosque,” said Red Cross official Aliyu Maikano.

Initial reports suggested that at least 32 people were killed and 80 injured, according to the Reuters news agency.

One local resident, who asked not to be identified, said the blast in the Jambutu area happened shortly after evening prayers as people left the mosque to eat.

“The area has been taken over by aid workers and security operatives so that ambulances are going to and fro carrying the victims to hospital. I believe the toll will be high,” he said.

The explosion bore all the hallmarks of Boko Haram, which has attacked Yola with suicide bombs and improvised explosive devices in recent months.

Last Friday, Buhari was in Yola to decorate soldiers for bravery in the counter-insurgency and to visit a camp for people displaced by six years of violence that has resulted in at least 17,000 deaths.

He told troops that he believed Boko Haram “are very close to defeat” and urged soldiers “to remain vigilant, alert and focused to prevent Boko Haram from sneaking into our communities to attack soft targets”.

Tuesday’s blast was the first in Nigeria this month, indicating that the army’s strategy to cut off the Islamists’ supply lines and target their camps was paying off.

Buhari has set his military commanders a deadline of the end of next month to crush the rebels, who have increasingly taken to attacking border areas of neighbouring Chad, Niger and Cameroon.

But the Yola explosion shows the difficulty in completely neutralising the threat, particularly in crowded urban areas.

On Monday, the army said it had foiled an attack in which terrorists planned to use high-powered assault weapons and improvised explosive devices in the capital of Borno state, Maiduguri, as well as uncovered a bomb-making factory.

In October, 27 people were killed and 96 injured in a blast at a mosque in Jambutu, while in September seven people died and 20 were injured by a bomb left at the camp visited by Buhari last week. Two suicide bombers blew themselves up at one of Yola’s main markets in June, killing 31.

Boko Haram was named in the latest Global Terrorism Index as “the most deadly terrorist group in the world” on Tuesday, having killed 6,644 people last year.

The index, published by the Institute for Economics and Peace, said the Islamic State group, to which Boko Haram has pledged allegiance, killed 6,073.

It highlighted “the major intensification of the terrorist threat in Nigeria” and said it had “witnessed the largest increase in terrorist deaths ever recorded by any country”.
