Pak's scratchy Kraachee doesn't affect its Pindli ka gooda.
2-page piece on ATimes:
Islamabad fiddles while Karachi burns
The spiral of violence in Karachi shows no sign of easing, with over 250 people killed in the first three weeks of August in Pakistan's key port and commercial center. Urdu-based political parties and their Pashtun-dominated counterparts blame one another, while land-grabbers and criminals exploit the breakdown in law and order. The government is more interested in extracting political mileage than in restoring order.

Washington Post on the US attempts via the Voice of America to influence the Urdu language TV media of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

A significant player in this US propaganda effort is Geo TV which is part of the Jang Group which also owns “The News” of Aman Ki Asha fame

That leads to two questions.

Is Aman Ki Asha also being funded by the US as part of its propaganda effort :?:

If so, is Times of India also being funded by the US for Aman Ki Asha :?:

Meanwhile in the true style prevalent in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Geo TV has not only stuck its snout in the US trough and fed out of it but has also played a duplicitous double game of propagandising on behalf of the enemies of the US  .

Read it all in the Washington Post:

What’s the right price tag for Pakistani minds and hearts?

For the sake of many ignorant kaffirs , This is an act of super spritual significence ,the technicals of which comes from the ancient manual. It is to be understood that the sadka of this act of human Zibah wont be granted if the perpetrator dont recite a certain prayer from Holy book while doing this pious act of mercy. All i can say, its worth the time.

I would recommend everybody who understands hindi/urdu to listen to this. On the face of it, both guys talk about qatl (killing) a gazillion times but the style of conversation is something I could not have imagined ever. We have understood the more-paki-then-the-next-paki syndrome but hearing this gives a clear perspective. We see all these youtube videos of kids getting slaughtered and AoA chants and see these as some kind of a bad dream/hollywood movie starring mugambo's maulvi but this gives cool-headed people's thinking behind these seemingly crazy actions.

In one section the army-guy asks the talib why do you kill women and children and the talib guy says even the Prophet did it and whether the army guy thinks the Prophet was wrong and then they have a theological discussion.

Subodh,

The Orcs imagery again evokes a mugambo's maulvi's image. This is bloody real. Here we have a TFTA fauji talking to a more-TFTA talib and the terms of the conversation are Islam and Qatl. This aint a movie. Amanullah article is chilling too but these are human voices dropping Allah and Qatl a gazillion times explaining how they think.

I dont know how the Fauj (Jihad-fi-Sabilillah) can counter the "even Rasool did this" argument. The fauji offers an argument that the talib was quoting a Hadith and Rasool said throw the Hadith away when Quran says something else. The talib asks, where does it say that ? The fauji says its in Bukhari etc. Talib says fauji is lying - its not anywhere. Fauji says he doesnt have books handy but its in all major books. Talib repeatedly says Fauji is a liar and dares him to prove it with quotes and 'logic'. End of conversation.

IOW I did understand earlier the continuous process of purification that TSP is going through. But there was still a little vagueness about this all. The conversation makes it real. The war between the Fauj and the Talibs is in reality a theological war. Its not about AKs/grenades/rocket-launchers at all. The fauj has to prove *everything* in Islamic terms. The rapes have to be Islamic, the murders Islamic, the plunder Islamic. Everything has to be strictly Islamic. I had seen Musharraf quote Hudaiybiyah and understood that Islam was very important for TSP but this conversation tells me that he could not but justify his actions Islamically.

You have to admire the clarity of thought displayed by Talib. He calls Qayde Aazam as "Kadoo e Aazam". Wo Kafir tha, wo Ismali Shia tha.

Of course, you are correct.

As Dr Shiv has always maintained, what pakistan really needs is more Islam, and the purer the better.

We know perfection can never be acheieved, but we can always strive for it.

The army, in its single minded hatred for india and the hindoo, harnessed allah for its aims, now the tables are turning, and the only way to stay ahead is to be purer than the tools of the trade they were using so far.

The problem is - this is an endless game, and the fauji is always playing defense - given he wears the uniform, swills whiskey and svcks Khan's @ss. The talib has no such problems, and can always play offense.

The game will mutate eventually where the semi-fake difference between the uniformed and 'secular' gazhis who only killed the dirty hindoo, and the pure and glorious gazhi who went after all non-believers will have to be forsaken by the uniformed bunch.

They sure need more Islam.

Wikileaks Cable, 1996
http://www.wikileaks.org/cable/1996/07/ ... D5972.html
PM Bhutto talking to Americans about plot to overthrow govt.
THE POLITICAL CONTEXT WAS WHAT SHE SAW AS A FAIRLY ELABORATE AND WELL ARTICULATED PLOT TO OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT. THIS PLOT INVOLVES QASI HUSSEIN AHMED, AMIR OF THE JAMIAT-I-ISLAMI, BUT ONE OF THE GUIDING FORCES WAS FORMER ISI DIRECTOR HAMID GUL. THE MECHANISM ENVISAGED WAS TO BEGIN WITH OPPOSITION TO THE BUDGET AND CONSTRUCT AN EVER-BROADENING POLITICAL MOVEMENT WITH DEMANDS FOR A CHANGE OF GOVERNMENT WITHIN THE CONSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORK. ELEMENTS WOULD BE THE DEMAND FOR A NEW CENSUS, DEMAND FOR A NATIONAL IDENTITY CARD, AND INVOCATION OF ARTICLE 62 OF THE CONSTITUTION WHICH LIMITS CANDIDATES FOR OFFICE TO THOSE DEFINED AS GOOD MUSLIMS. THE INTENTION WOULD BE TO LIMIT THE DEFINITION OF A GOOD MUSLIM ONLY TO GRADUATES OF MADRASSAS OR ISLAMIC UNIVERSITIES. THE PRIME MINISTER DID NOT BELIEVE THAT THE CAMPAIGN WAS CATCHING ON. AS SHE HAD EXPLAINED TO THE CABINET MEETING ON LAW AND ORDER, HOWEVER, THE GOVERNMENT COULD NOT BE SIMPLY THE PASSIVE OBJECT OF SUCH A CAMPAIGN BUT WAS OBLIGED TO REACT AND BE ACTIVE IN ITS OWN DEFENSE AND IN DEFENSE OF DEMOCRACY.
¶5. (S) THE PRIME MINISTER'S STATEMENT GAVE US AN OPPORTUNITY TO TURN TO THE VEXING ISSUE OF THE HUA. I BEGAN BY THANKING HER FOR HER VERY FIRM COMMENTS IN HER MEETING WITH THE SPOUSES OF THE KASHMIR HOSTAGES. I RECALLED IN PARTICULAR HER REQUEST THAT WE BRING TO HER ATTENTION ANY SOLID INFORMATION THAT WE HAVE SO THAT SHE CAN HAVE THE SUSPECTS BROUGHT IN AND STRONGLY INTERROGATED. IN FACT, SHE INTERJECTED, SHE HAD ASKED MINISTER OF THE INTERIOR NASEERULLAH KHAN BABAR TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE FBI ON THE EVIDENCE CONCERNING THE KASHMIR HOSTAGES. PAKISTAN ITSELF, AFTER THE MOST THOROUGH REVIEW BY ALL AGENCIES OF THE GOVERNMENT -- INTELLIGENCE, ARMY AND CIVILIAN AGENCIES -- HAD BEEN UNABLE TO DISCOVER CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE HARAKAT UL ANSAR PEOPLE THAT THEY KNEW AND THE HOSTAGE TAKERS. AT THE SAME TIME SHE RECOGNIZED THAT ALL OUTSIDE INTERLOCUTORS WERE CONVINCED THAT THERE IS SUCH A CONNECTION. THE BRITISH HAD MADE THIS CLEAR TO THEM AND SHE ASSUMED THAT THE AMERICANS HAD THE SAME VIEW.

¶6. (S) FRANK WISNER ASSURED HER THAT THAT IS THE CASE, OUTLINING BRIEFLY THE EVIDENCE THAT WE HAVE IN HAND ABOUT HUA COMPLICITY IN SEVERAL KIDNAPPING EVENTS IN INDIA, INCLUDING THE KASHMIR HOSTAGE INCIDENT. THE PRIME MINISTER SAID SHE COULD NOT RULE OUT THE POSSIBILITY THAT A BREAKAWAY ELEMENT OF HUA MIGHT BE INVOLVED, RECALLING THAT A BREAKAWAY ELEMENT HAD BEEN INVOLVED IN THE ARMY PLOT OF SEPTEMBER 1995. SHE ASKED THE FOREIGN SECRETARY TO CONTACT THE MILITARY AND ASK IF ANY OF THE HUA PLOTTERS IN THE ARMY COUP WERE AWARE OF PLANS TO TAKE HOSTAGES IN KASHMIR.

Opinion piece by Photocopy Khan in The News(posting in full). A Q Khan is getting too bold with his strong opinion against the past TSPA rulers. TSPA may soon introduce him to a sun roof lever.

True independence needs struggle
Dr A Q Khan
Monday, August 22, 2011

We should remember that independence is not earned without great sacrifice. It is always extremely difficult to get rid of usurpers and dictators. Sacrifice must be sincere and should have a definite objective. Without sincerity, even prayers are not answered. There is a Divine edict that states: “By no means shall you attain righteousness unless you give freely of that which you love and whatever you give of a truth, Allah knows it well.” (3:92.)

A very visible demonstration of this was given by the Indian Muslims, who sacrificed almost everything for the creation of Pakistan. They left their dear ones and their belongings – properties, lands and wealth. When they reached their new homeland, there was no paper, pens, pencils or pins in government offices. People brought their own stationery and used Acacia thorns as pins. The well-to-do gave their money to pay the salaries of government servants. Ladies donated their jewellery.

Similar passion was demonstrated by the public during the war of 1965, stupidly started by Pakistan. People blamed Bhutto, but if Ayub Khan, as military dictator, was such a lame-duck ruler, then he should have rather become an imam. People raced to the front with food, water and medicines and took care of the troops.

After the ignominious defeat and surrender by our armed forces at Dacca on Dec 16, 1971, Mr Bhutto put the scattered pieces of a demoralised nation together, managed to have 92,000 prisoners of war released and was later hanged by the same ungrateful people. He also started the nuclear programme for our future safety and for the permanent safeguard of Pakistan’s sovereignty. At Mr Bhutto’s request, I gave up a lucrative and promising career abroad and returned to Pakistan (and got my first salary of Rs3,000 after six months) and was given the heavy responsibility of turning this backward, poor country into a nuclear power. I gathered together a team of highly dedicated, motivated colleagues and we never looked back. By the middle of 1984 we were, for all practical purposes, a nuclear power. Within a few years we also produced long-range ballistic missiles which enabled the country to deliver weapons well into enemy territory. My colleagues and I paid a heavy price for our work in terms of our family life. We were hardly ever at home to take care of our near and dear ones and see our children growing up.

It was Allah’s blessing, the nation’s best wishes and our own hard and dedicated work that enabled us to achieve what seemed an impossible objective. However, it hurts to see just how ungrateful some of our own people are at the behest of foreign agents. They hanged their benefactor, Mr Bhutto, by implicating him in a false case and they made me a scapegoat for the selfish purpose of prolonging a usurper’s rule.

His blinkered vision could not comprehend that by making me a scapegoat he was helping the Western world brand Pakistan as “criminal” for ever. I, as an individual, am of no long-term consequence as sooner or later I won’t be there any longer to target, but Pakistan will, Inshallah, always be there. By refuting allegations of wrongdoing we could have come clean, it would have been a game of blame and rebuttal, as had been the case over the previous 25 years. After all, Pakistan had not broken any international laws or treaties. The matter would have died down with time.

What it comes down to is that, on the one hand we have a patriotic, devoted people working for Pakistan, on the other hand we have parasites who are looting this hard-won homeland. We totally forgot the sacrifices of Raja Sahab Mahmoodabad, Nawab Ismail Khan and others like them. Both military dictators and so-called democratically elected rulers destroyed this poor country and have turned its masses into starving beggars. Nothing is left of our self-esteem or “ghairat.” The rich have become richer – by any and all means possible – while the poor got poorer and starved.

We must all realise that there is no time left. We all have to work hard and strive to get back on the right path of development and self-sufficiency. The whole country is in a mess at present. All institutions have been destroyed and corruption and nepotism are rampant. The present government has totally failed to correct any of the problems created by the previous ones and to alleviate the problems faced by the masses.

Together, the previous dictator and the present rulers have destroyed the very fabric of the country. We are now no more than beggars, and we have no sovereignty. We can no longer call our country our own. Fresh elections won’t make much difference. The same old rotten system will prevail and the same people (read: families) will be running the country. There is no time or possibility for positive change under the present system.

It has become our sacred duty to join hands, put our differences aside and bring about a Peaceful Awami Inqilab (peaceful people’s revolution). We have to discard old, failed leaders who are desperately clinging to power. No more time for sit-ins. We need to concentrate solely on one objective – a peaceful public revolution to throw down the yoke of slavery and exploitation. Thousands of kind-hearted philanthropists are doling out millions of rupees to the poor, but there is no change in the level of poverty in the country. The only way forward is to wage a jihad to bring about a peaceful change. Under sincere and honest rulers there would be a change for the better. We don’t need any foreign alms or suspicious foreign NGOs snooping around the country. Fight for your rights – take them by force if needs be.

Allah has blessed this country with natural resources and human talent. Our young generation is hardworking, innovative and talented. We should use this latent talent to solve our problems and put the country back onto the road of development. Together we can turn it into an Islamic Welfare State. Naturally we would pass through a difficult transitional period which we would have to face together with honesty and sincerity. China, Japan, Germany, etc., made such transitions before our very eyes. Our elders did it before us. If we don’t do something now, our future generations will never forgive us and will curse us for not doing our duty.

I strongly appeal for a start of this campaign. The first and foremost duty rests on the lawyers. Please do stand up, protect the sanctity of Supreme Court decisions and demolish the current rotten, corrupt system. Together we can rebuild Quaid-e-Azam’s and Allama Iqbal’s Pakistan into a peaceful, strong, neutral, sovereign state. Come forward, one and all!

Fresh downpours
A
big wave of flood waters has been passing through Guddu barrage in the upper parts of Sindh and is heading down to Sukkur barrage, the BBC's M Ilyas Khan in Islamabad says. Officials say they are trying to move about one million people from the riverine region of Sindh.
So far, 263,000 houses have been fully or partially damaged in the two worst affected provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. According to the Federal Flood Commission, 1.4m acres (557,000 hectares) of crop land has been flooded across the country and more than 10,000 cows have perished. Waters in the Punjab region are now receding but several new villages in the Jaffarabad area have been deluged since Thursday evening.
There have been fresh downpours in the north-west, adding to the misery of over two million people left homeless there by the floods.About 1.4 million people have been displaced in Punjab, according to a UN spokesman.'Unprecedented'
The situation is likely to worsen as the meteorological department has predicted heavy rains in areas already hit by the floods."We're forecasting widespread rains in the country, specially in flood-affected areas," Reuters quoted Qamar-uz-Zaman Chaudhry, director general of the department, as saying.Authorities in Sindh have warned of major floods in the next 48 hours along the swollen Indus river."It is unprecedented floods in our history," news agency AFP quoted military spokesman Major General Athar Abbas as saying. "We do not have the kind of resources to cope with a situation like this."Army helicopters have evacuated about 3,000 tourists stranded in the Kalam region of Swat district, which has been cut off after many bridges were washed away by flood waters.
Sixty boats have been sent from Lahore to Multan, in Punjab province, and Sukkur in Sindh province, for evacuation purposes, an army press release said.Officials say the most immediate needs of the displaced are tents, plastic sheets, food and medicines.
The World Bank said it had set up an aid fund at Pakistan's request with initial pledges of $80m (£50m

True. And it was no accident things turned out this way.

Pak's insistence on distancing itself from the (civilizing and humanizing) aspects of Indian culture and ethos make a soceity just 1 step away from cannibalism an inevitability only. Iraq of 2004 and Somalia of today are the only 2 remaining rungs in the ladder en route to that jannat.

Those audio files are Urdu spoken fast-ish but I can still pick up the gist. The Talib clearly rants about the Pakistan army being a slave of foreigners and what Allah has ordained for them. I did not bother listening to the whole thing.

As Islam becomes more an more pure - the bluffs that have been used for centuries become more and more apparent Traditionally in Islam it is claimed that everyone is supposed to read the Quran for himself. That is great advice, but it can never really happen because illiteracy is the norm among the ummah. Plus Quran is in Arabic. As a result only a small minority of people can actually read the Quran and/or hadiths. These texts are voluminous, ambiguous, sometimes contradictory and controversial. Some have been divided up into traditions that you are supposed to believe and others that you can discard. So the illiterate gun toting buffoon who is put into a madrasa to study all this just mugs up the stuff (his teacher is of the same type nowadays, not a scholar) and each of them spews out what is convenient

1. No Muslim is allowed to accept that there is controversy and ambiguity in their texts or he can be killed.
2. No Muslim can even suggest that there is imperfection or he can be killed
3. No Muslim can say that such wanton killing is allowed for in the texts without being killed - unless he says it with a long apology to explain why that killing is necessary to remove the impurities which cannot exist in Islam.
4. You can curse Allah - but even hinting at criticism of Mohammad gets you killed. So much for the importance of God.
5. The illiterates of the ummah (most of them) only know about the so called 5 pillars - they recite the kalima and are ready to kill unbelievers without a clue about the mess that any "scholar" gets into.

With most of the ummah being illiterate there is virtually no chance of the Islamic world moving forward as a whole under the circumstances. The only hope is large scale taqiya where nations set aside the continuous war and continuous controversy that all the textual and traditional Islamic ambiguity causes. Being educated in islam is to be educated in a series of ambiguous beliefs whose only certainty is a few lines and quotes that can be taken as the truth and repeated ad nauseam (Like rocks an trees will speak up saying there is Jew hiding behind me)

A Pakistan searching for more purity in Islam is a Pakistan that is heading down the drain. But no Pakistani can say this without being killed. Congratulations tubelight.

The idea of Pakistan had only two choices and one of them was made in 1947. Pakistan was to be pure and Islamic. Therefore they must go towards more and more and more purity in Islam. The Taliban are a natural development in the purity of Islam. You have to be an Islamophobe/Islam hater to question the validity of the Taliban. Or you have to be heavily armed and ready to kill the Taliban and formally declare yourself a kafir. There is nothing in between. You cannot oppose the Taliban and claim to be a Muslim. That is the hilarious dilemma that the idiot Pakhani army now faces. The best solution would be to keep on fighting other kafirs "outside". That is why the Pakis are so desperate to find external enemies. Only external enemies will lead to temporary internal peace by causing a temporary unification of kalima reciters. The only piskology here is the piskological logic of Islam.

If Pakistan has to be a "normal state" what is required is a watering down and rejection of Islam as the ultimate truth and final answer. Not democracy, military rule or military aid. It's all about Islam the political system. Or at least some serious taqiya to be forced down the throats of 180 million so the good islamic purity fight can be postponed to say 50 years from now. They will never do that and will either keep on failing or break up.

The sekoolar nations of the world will not understand this. You heard it here first.

Inshallah what fun, heard both the audios. That TTP maulvi is humorous, I think I heard him sniggering couple of times too. "Uncle kay jatey hi kamar toot jaye gee." I think he is a RAA agent.

So, as pure becomes purer, what will happen to the scotch chadhaoing Sahdhurst/West Point Angrezi maroing Jernails and Kernails? What is the future of Ayubs, Yahyas and Muschi (pussy in Deutsch as someone pointed out). Who is going to replace them? A pure mulla will not generate US aid.

"Gunmen On Motorbikes Torch 19 NATO Fuel Tankers In SW Pakistan

Gunmen on motorbikes in southwestern Pakistan have set ablaze at least 19 tanker trucks that were carrying fuel for NATO forces in neighboring Afghanistan.
Police say that on August 22 gunmen fired at the tankers about 25 kilometers south of Quetta as the truck drivers were waiting for a police escort on the main highway that leads into southern Afghanistan......

Purports to be a conversation between a Pakistani army person and a Taliban (Don't be misled by the "Iraq Mideast collection")
http://www.archive.org/details/Mufti_733
The Taliban is TTP. The conversation is very much trading of accusations and justifications by quoting scriptures and hadith.

Main points:

1. TTP quotes scripture - if they fight you in the masjid, kill them there.

2. TTP considers Pak. Army to be murtad (apostate) (because they kill Muslims, scorn the Sharia, and take aid from the kafirs against Muslims).

3. TTP says taking aid from kafirs to fight kafirs (e.g., American or <b>ISI</b> aid for jihad against Soviet Union) is permissible, but to take aid from kafirs to fight other Muslims is not.

4. Army man accuses TTP of killing ulema who don't agree with them. TTP says they kill and will kill such mullahs that are darbari mullahs, that serve taghut (false belief) and are on the wrong path. Killing of other mullahs, TTP accuses the army of killing them.

5. Army man says you are killing people who say they are Muslim, pronounce the Kalima. You can't call them murtad (apostate) at worst munafiq (hypocrite). TTP says that you are born in Muslim family, you know better, you are not munafiq, you are murtad. Renouncing by speech is not the only way to be murtad; actions such as opposing Sharia make one murtad. In any case killing munafiq is permissible, though not compulsory.

5. TTP says the market bombings are done by Pak army and Blackwater.

6. TTP says we consider Americans and Pakistan Army to be the same. Americans make 80000 a month and Pakis 300 a month but apart from them, not difference as far as killing them.

7. Army says during Soviet Jihad you did not fight for Sharia, you took money from us, etc., why didn't you take this stand back then? TTP says, yes, that was our sin, we accept our mistake.

8. TTP says, America uses you like tissue paper, and pays you peanuts.

9. TTP says, it became apparent that Pakistan is kaffiriya country not Islamic country only after the jihad against the Soviet Union was over. We should have known since 1947.

10. Army man says that you all called Jinnah Kafir-e-Azam for fighting for Pakistan, and after Pakistan was formed you took over Pakistan. TTP says, Jinnah, Karzai are all Kafirs of the same type. Jinnah was an Ismaili Shia, not a Muslim. Army man says he was "Muhammad Ali Jinnah". TTP says, yes, Ali signifies Shia, Shia are kafir.

11. TTP argues from the great flood, and from hadith, that if attacking a legitimate target in jihad (e.g., army school) results in the killing of women and children, that is permissible. The Prophet himself killed women or had women killed.

12. TTP says that the hadith quoted by the Army man that if any hadith contradicts the Quran, then discard the hadith is a false one.

13. TTP justifies aggressive jihad. Justifies weapons in the masjid.

14. TTP accuses Pakistani army of destroying many masjids.

15. Army man accuses TTP of slitting throats and cutting off noses and ears. TTP says that slitting throats is the Sunnat of the Prophet. Cutting off of noses and ears is haraam.

16. Army man accuses TTP of fitna (causing conflict), and going against Allah. TTP says you had earthquake where lots of Army died and destruction of Nowshera army camp and elsewhere last year, we believe TTP's sacrifices are accepted by Allah. You are murtad and Allah will make you barbaad. We estimate you're 80% done, and when your Uncle America leaves your ruin will be complete.

17. Army man says you guys haven't been successful in 11 years, Hezbollah with good niyat rocked Israel in Lebanon conflict in one year. TTP says the Sahaba (companions of the Prophet) who were shaheed are considered successful. We are fighting for Sharia or martyrdom. (Later he says, that if we succeed in Afghanistan only after 50 years, when we come before Allah, He will not taunt us.)

18. Army man accuses TTP of stealing money from Pakistani banks. TTP man says that such banks with American or Paki army money are legitimate jihad targets.

19. TTP: "Deen ki baat akl se nahi, nakal se chalti hai" (i.e. matters of religion are decided not from reason but from imitating (the examples of Prophet and Sahaba).

20. Army man accuses TTP of considering all Pakistanis as kafirs. TTP says, any government of Pakistan money, not just army money is permissible to loot. We do not target children. Army man accuses TTP of kidnapping and extortion for ransom. TTP says, we only kidnap people like you.

21. Army man says why haven't you gone and fought in Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan? TTP says just as the Prophet did jihad first in Medina and later in Mecca after he gained strength, similarly Uzbeks, Turkmens will do. Eventually TTP will do jihad there. Like the Ansar of Medina, we welcome Uzbek, Turkmen mohajirs.

22. Army man returns to accusation of fitna. TTP says we are fighting fitna. Army man accuses them of not engaging ulema in debate but killing them. TTP says, any maulvi who sides with the government against Sharia, are legitimate to kill, and TTP will continue to kill them.

23. Army man says as reported in the news, Mullah Omar has disavowed any involvement with Taliban in Pakistan. TTP says, that Mullah Omar's words comes to us through tape recordings, paper with signature or by authorized messenger, not by internet or newspaper. We know him better than you.

24. Army man accuses TTP of taking Indian money. TTP asks - are you sick. On being pressed, TTP says, it is your foreign minister who goes to India. You gave Bangladesh, Kashmir to them, took defeat in Kargil, surrendered 90,000 to them, you are slaves of India.

25. Army man says you said you'd liberate Kashmir, rid Afghanistan of Americans, etc., you have had no success (implying Allah does not favor you). TTP says we measure success by bringing about Sharia or martyrdom. TTP reminds army man that at the time when Prophet predicted Ghazawa-e-Hind, Pakistan was part of Hindustan (i.e., TTP is fulfilling prophecy by jihad in Pakistan).

Guys. This is serious stuff. Balochistan and the Bugti scion getting featured on NYT front page is serious stuff. It was "unknow" eh, to whom ? The average Joe maybe , but not to anyone who knows anything about this part of the world!

This is just Unkil fishing for more points of leverage against the Pakis. In Inglees.. this means.. err. do more GUBO or we will start playing up Balochistan along with the Hindoooos. This is just unkil doing another "Amritraj" on the Pakis.

Happy Guboing Pakis and of course, IED Mubarak!

Citizen deprived of cash, cell phone
Updated 3 hours ago
MULTAN: A citizen was deprived of cash and cell phone in Alpa police station area on Monday.

According to police, Zaffar Iqbal resident of Alpa was going to his home when two dacoits intercepted him and deprived him of Rs 100,000 and cell phone at gun point.

Investigation is under way.
Question is what is the guy doing walking around with Rs. 100,000 in his wallet. That's a heck of a lot of money to be carrying around.

This takes the cake! :rotfl:

So Prophet Zaid Hamid has all the time been talking about purifying Pakistan onlee with his "Ghazwa-e-Hind" speeches.

Ghazwa-e-Hind is all about putting up the Taliban Flag on Lahore Fort! May the Taliban Flag fly high on Lahore! With the "Ghazwa-e-Hind" Hadith in hand, who can stop Taliban from marching into Lahore!

a lot of the camels and cows seem to be slaughtered in the middle of what would be called 'housing colony' in India, right in the middle of the intersection inside, or in the drive way of a larger building - and secondly, how many little kids are gleefuly incorporated in the ritual.

er this is a feature of RoP not of TSP in particular. same thing happens on Eid-ul-zuha in blr as well. was walking to office once through an area called murugeshpalya off banerghatta road on that day, not knowing. outside every house and on some small roads lay a lot of blood and the carcasses of sheep and goats. "hardening" the kids to the sight to death and blood from a rather young age is also part of the deal.

lots of camels are also brought and sold here from western india - I guess the rich IMs buy them while middle class buy goats. goats are sold for upto 1 lakh, and if it has a mark on skin looking similar to a verse of kuran, then prices go into lakhs in bidding.

An acquaintance of mine in Colombo, devout Buddhist family, once rented out their grand family house near the PM's office to the Pakis for their embassy. When they got it back years later,he proudly took me to the house to show me its grandeur. We were aghast and horrified to find that the Pakis had been slaughtering animals inside the compound illegally and had even constructed a furnace to burn their confidential documents, which had also been used to burn the animals "leftovers" and the evidence in the form of animal fragments still remained!

The Pakis were then looking for a replacement, another new grand address for their embassy and had zeroed in on an even greater fine ancient residence belonging to a very old and distinguished Colombo family, also devout Buddhists, who were v.close friends of mine. When they told me one evening of the very generous offer from Pakiland for the lease of their mansion, which they were about to sign, and the Pakis were putting great pressure on them-as it would've been a major diplomatic coup for them to have their embassy in such a grand and distinguished mansion, while sipping my Scotch I gently put them in the "know of things" and recounted my other friend's horrific experience. These good Buddhists almost jumped out of their skins;"bl**dy hell,no way!" said they, and put an immediate end to the Paki endeavour. The Pakis who were almost certain of their coup were totally flummoxed as to what had happened not knowing what had hit them! Thus was my little contribution to sabotaging their interests.

Bravo Phillip!!! I hope we are all doing our parts, drop by drop, here and there :)
There are many people on BRF in positions where such drops can be truly effective, and unseen force multipliers. Don't feel shy.

Thanks A_Gupta...

If anyone can make a transcript of it (staying true to the Urdu, without any BRFite additions), it will be quite a valuable item... :)
