Celebrating Pakistan's victory over SDREs

Folks, it is that time of the year, when back in 1971, Pakistan defeated SDREs and marched back victoriously westward. Please join me in celebrating that momentous victory over the kufrs. I hope you enjoy the mementos from the war.

The declaration of victory:

Pakistan learnt no lessons in forty years since surrender
we immediately forgot that the East Pakistan debacle was primarily caused by the unwillingness of the powers in Pakistan to allow the East Pakistanis to remain part of Pakistan on an equal footing — let us not forget that the six points of Mujibur Rahman were within the framework of a united Pakistan and not outside it. But we refused to accept that the country would only become strong if all ethnicities and regions were allowed autonomy within the federal framework. So, we charged the Sindhis with attempting to secede when they had only passed an act which gave official status to their own language — Sindhi — in 1972. In Balochistan, we went even further and launched yet another military operation against them in 1973 under General Tikka Khan, which lasted five years. Again, we unleashed our military on our own people, simply because they were demanding a share in national governance.

Let me leave you with one real life example of how we still refuse to even accept, let alone learn, from the East Pakistan debacle. In my Pakistan Studies class at Forman Christian College, I spent a whole week on the Bangladesh issue. Teaching them just the bare facts of the whole problem, I could see how uneasy most of the students were, some shocked by what they had learnt, some regretful, but still there were some who refused to even accept that some atrocities might have been committed. At one point, we had a heated debate in the class when a person refused to believe that a Bengali Muslim woman, whose first-hand account we had just read, had been repeatedly raped and tortured. Another student directly confronted this person and said, “Will you only accept her story if she gets raped in front of you?”

Well, isn't there a requirement of four adult male witnesses to prove rape?

Paki jernails (Mushy included) to this day talk about how they got a huge shock hearing on TV that Niazi surrendered and how their eyes welled up in tears. Many many people have written about it. Apparently the shock was amplified by the fact that Paki TV was claiming all along that they were winning and suddenly one day when the pretense could not be kept up had to admit that they lost.

To this day, many Pakis believe that they won '65 and Kargil was a stalemate.

This is ToI's new initiative - "Bandar Ki Baasha" to further the Indo-Pak peace process success achieved by "Aman Ki Aaasha".

Meanwhile, the paki awam during the course of the war was reading this in their daily newspapers: The Yawn - Dec 4 through Dec 20, 1971. This link may be a keeper.

Note that the "IAF Losses" progressively climbed from "49 Jets on Dec 5" to "74 on Dec 6" to "95 on Dec 7" to "104 on Dec 8" to "120 on Dec 11" to "127 on Dec 12". The tone in reporting dramatically switched from "We are winning, Insh'allah" to "WTF!!" on Dec 15.

If you zoom in on the front pages and read the side news, you will note that the "chest beating bravado" in those days is no different from what the paki mards are showing today.

And this is our own "Kaali" incarnate. I suppose she was tainted during the emergency days....I don't remember because I was too young. But, the way she handled the situation leading up to the splitting of Pakistan is admirable to say the least! A far cry from our present crop of WKK politicians. Can you imagine MMS mumbling a speech/interview like this

Please note @4:10 how she rebuffs the interviewer when he poses the question "East Pakistan" and she responds by saying "East Bengal"

Wonder what would have happened if India tried few Paki generals for war crime by itself or thru BD. Was there any war criminal process in those days?

Taliban fighters had "liberated" Swat and Bajaur, at least for a while. The Afghan-PoK border is probably as porous as the Durand line. Basically the ball is in the US court. If they want to abandon the Paks, they have possibilities in Balochistan and elsewhere.

One of PM Gandhi's advisers told her not to humiliate the defeated party as done by Treaty of Versailles. (some people believe that treaty of versailles played a role in causing WW 2.)

We still have many such "advisers" today, morons who specialize in making omlettes without breaking eggs.

And winding up with egg on their (careful what you write boss. There are plenty of morons without headdresses as well - JE Menon) faces.

Thanks for posting (though it has been posted on BRF before) - it needs to be posted every year on this day. This particular clip needs to be watched by every mango abdul in India - especially the part from 1:00 onwards. She bluntly exposes the perfidy of the so-called 'Free World' when they not only stood by but actively supported genocide of over 3 million Bengalis at a rate even Hitler and Himmler couldn't achieve at their peak.

Anantha, congratulations to you and all BRF colleagues. This was a great victory. The Pakis cannot handle the facts even now that their cowardly army could not even put up a fight but surrendered like rats.

One of the great stories I have heard is that Mrs Gandhi used to come to the war room in South Block often in a red sari, which is the colour of battle in Hinduism. It motivated and fired up the generals. They knew for certain that they would vanquish the enemy with an inspiring leader like Mrs Gandhi.

One can only imagine how she would have responded after 26/11.

The rascals should be grateful that we fed them in the first place and not executed them. They had the option of showing their mardangi by refusing to eat Indian vegetarian food and dying. I regret that India/BD did not hold Nuremberg style tribunals for war criminals and stripped Pakistan the ability to maintain an armed force.

Indira Gandhi, despite her political shenanigans was quite decisive and bold. She was cold and calculating and am sure with a 26/11 like event with world sympathy would have castrated Kiyanahi. In the videos, one can see that despite the soft demeanor, she is steely willed.

In one of the BR meets a while ago, I remember a BR guru talking about the existence of a video where the surrendered paki hijdas come in a line and an Indian soldier slaps each one of them as they move forward in the line.
If anyone has access to that video please post it. Today is the day to remind the Paklurks how their great hijda forces were humiliated.

The pakis have apparently taken a decision to not "export" fuel to NATO. Remember that on paper, Pakis "import" crude, refine it and "export" it back to NATO. The "subsidized" rate he is talking about is madrassa math where US pays only for refining and transportation cost because US has already bought the crude. By that measure NATO fuel is "cheaper" than what is available in Pakistan because it does not include the price of the crude. Pakis are calling that "subsidized"

Here is Earth-e-Shaster oovacha todin:

Pakistan hacks drone technology -- Can force it to land
by
TFveryTA Ashraf Ansari
http://pakobserver.net/detailnews.asp?id=130359
Islamabad—Pakistan has been able to hack drone technology to the extent that it can now command transgressing drone to land in Pakistan, reliable sources told Pakistan Observer.

This achievement by Pakistan is utmost significant amid desperate scenario that emerged as a result of attacks inside Pakistan by the United States CIA operated drones despite persistent calls from Islamabad for end to such provocations.

Experts in Pakistan believe that the only positive aspect of the 2 May Abbottabad episode relating to the killing of Osama bin Laden was reported crashing of a Stealth helicopter. Pakistani experts seemed to have become aware for the first time, of the fact that there was Stealth helicopters besides Stealth aeroplanes. They are believed to have been able to decode or decipher the programming and sensitive technology applied to making and operationalisation of Stealth air-machines.

Sources said the knowledge gained by Pakistanis from the wreckage of Stealth helicopter secured from Abbotabad might have helped the Pakistani experts in developing insight about the programming and remote controlling of the CIA operated drones. This critical technological insight led Pakistani experts to decode sensitive gadgetry of the drones.

When asked about the impact of Pakistan’s newly acquired capability to safely bring the violating CIA operated drones to ground on Pakistan soil, the experts minced no words and said exuberantly that Pakistan had come into possession of a trump card in terms of strategic imperatives. Through newly acquired technological capability, Pakistani experts would also be able to decode intricate gadgetry of new generation of weapons being developed by the US.

Pakistan achieved marvelous success in decoding of stealth and drone gadgetries on the heals of downing in Iran of a US drone on 8 December.
