Trust between US & Pakistan very low
"But it's very difficult for most of us to believe that Osama bin Laden can live in a relatively large compound in a military-related community for over five years and that community does not know that he's there," she {Senator Dianne Feinstein, chairwoman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence} said.

"So this was a very important take-down because this was the head of the movement to kill Americans, 3,000 of them, on 9/11 in those great buildings in New York City.

"And that was a mission really very carefully and very well carried out," Feinstein said.

The stage is all set for more confrontation between the Government & Judiciary.

Letter cannot be written to Swiss authorities: Rental Raja
Submitting its reply in the Supreme Court, the federal government has stated that the prime minister can not write the letter to authorities in Switzerland to reopen cases against President Asif Ali Zardari, DawnNews reported on Tuesday.

The reply, submitted by Attorney General Irfan Qadir, was subsequently returned with objections.

The reply had stated that under the Constitution, the advice of the federal cabinet was binding on the prime minister and that the cabinet had not given any such recommendation to the premier.

The reply moreover requested the court to review its ruling of July 12.

The government moreover stated that the seven-judge bench did not have the authority to summon the prime minister.

It further said that the so-called second option pertaining to initiating proceedings against the premier could no longer be applied.

This writer has to be a lurker on BRF. We are the pariahs of the world
No wonder then the entire world now treats us as pariahs at best and lepers at worst.
Like India, we too are world famous for IT, except that in our case IT stands for international terrorism.

And the blame for the current state of affairs goes to:
What revenge the mullahs have taken for their total political annihilation by the Muslim League in pre-partition India!
Could have, should have:
Had we heeded Jinnah’s words on August 11, 1947, and had we not created arbitrary bars against various communities and had we treated religion as a matter between man and God, Pakistan may well have excelled and become one of the greatest nations on earth.
Thats right. If wishes were horses....pakis would buy wild ases.
