Beheading of Indian Soldiers in Aug 2011 and Aman ki Asha

Postby Aditya_V » 25 Jun 2012 21:42

I am sorry but this news is very emotional and barbaric and I can't belive our GOvernment and Media suppressed this news for a long time so that it wont affect Aman ki Asha. I want a new thread to discuss this.

MIltants Behead 2 Indian Army jawans

A state police officer, who was present at the cremation of Devender Singh, confirmed that the bodies were badly mutilated and not shown to relatives. The Army authorities informed that the heads were blown away during the fierce encounter, he said.

Lance Naik Devender Singh's uncle also admitted that the bodies weren't shown to the family members, and so did a 20 Kumaon regiment official. Militants fired rocket propelled grenades at the jawans, killing them on spot and blowing off their heads, the official said.

Indian, Pakistani Commanders to meet in bid to end bloody LoC skirmishes

Two soldiers beheaded by militants

Highly placed military sources told The Hindu that the fighting began after two Indian soldiers were beheaded in an attack on a forward position by a jihadist unit.

having your head blown off by munitions and having it cut off with a sword/knife are very different things - the first is within the bounds of regular war fare, the second - if done deliberately and if the person is defenseless is a war crime - and needs to be properly punished

We need peace. We forgave and forgot Mumbai. You know how many people die of lack of toilets every day?

Yes yes, peace is there when your soldiers are beheaded and your notes counterfeted and terror attacks planned and coordinated daily. As long as Media houses, 5 star hotels and ministries in Lutyens are not attacked peace is there.

Future President of India tells us that India cannot afford taking on TSPA because *insert ominous music* Foreign Forces will occupy Kashmir tomorrow onlee.

We must mass manufacture DRDO toilets. Jairam Ramesh is on board. Ask Google chacha about him if you have any doubts.

We not only need peace but peace at any cost. Even if that means some of Indians have to be sacrificed as per the religious rituals followed by our brothers across border. Few men for many until the many becomes zero.

Guys, this is not the first time this barbaric act has been performed by the PA. Let us remember what the one-eyed Ilyas Kashmiri did. He is reported to have severed the head of Bhausaheb Maruti Talekar of the Maratha Light Infantry, taking it back to Pakistan as a trophy in c. 2000, presenting to the then President and COAS Gen. Musharraf and receiving a cash award for his act. To support what Kashmiri had done, ‘Maulana Zahoor Ahmad Alvi of Jamia Muhammadia, Islamabad, issued a fatwa in support of slitting the throats of Indian Army officers’. No doubt there was retaliation by the IA later on. I have not chosen any option that was listed because I believe that the PA, in it entirety, must be destroyed as a terror and war-mongering outfit.

^ I thought they were paid to fight and kill.

Back on topic, I remember reading this news that time.

The reason I remember reading was that they didn't want to make it public because it might demoralize the jawans.

Feel very sad for the brave soldiers. I hope God gives strength to their families to cope up with their untimely departure.

Anyway, I'm totally opposed to this Aman ka Tamasha with Paki pigs but alas Dr. MMS feels that India's future is intertwined with Jihadistan's future.

Agree! Both the atrocities and the retaliations go unreported! I would like to hear the WKKs after they read about this madness..

But I believe strongly, the napakis take a pounding from the IA every time the poaks get frisky..

From the above Hindu link..

Highly placed military sources told The Hindu that the fighting began after two Indian soldiers were beheaded in an attack on a forward position by a jihadist unit. Indian special forces responded by targeting a Pakistani forward post, killing several soldiers. Intermittent clashes continued through the year, into December.

From my Paanwala. By and large retaliation/actions by INA is not dependent on Delhi. All decisions are taken by local commanders. However any crossing of borders by spec. forces needs to come down from Delhi as it has strategic implications if soldiers are captured.

If the US can put pressure for Aman ki tamsha, then it can put pressure that the Major Captain of the relevant Until is Beheaded by Pakistanis with Indian Army Witnesses at the border. That is the only acceptable behaviour. The unit should be shot to death with firing squad.

We should disproportionately launch immediate operation to give a fitting response. However with our current netas I have very limited hope.

We should (if our leaders have balls)
1. Scrap MFN status to TSP - we gain nothing by it.
2. Announce a few new mega dams on the indus water rivers and make full use of all the provisions in the treaty. We can still utilize a lot more water and we are not making any use of it.
3. Stop exporting vegetables and livestock - this alone will raise prices significantly in TSP
4. Do away with proposals to transmit 500MW of power and locomotives to TSP
5. And stop the useless cricket and hockey matches - no sports ties with TSP.
6. Finally stop the AMAN KI TAMASHA

8 ways India can hurt TSP economy

No one is better to trust in these times than a retired Colonel.

http://www.firstpost.com/india/this-is- ... 81776.html

According to retired Colonel Ajai Shukla, Strategic Affairs Editor of Business Standard, the incident while horrific, isn’t unusual at the Line of Control between India and Pakistan.

“This is nothing unusual. It is possibly a response to the exchange of firing in Uri sector of the LoC a few days ago,” he said, while speaking to Rajdeep Sardesai on CNN-IBN.

He said that India should not act like it was a victim in the attack.

“The Line of Control is an inherently brutal place. It is not as if the Indian army is sitting over there and the Pakistan army is coming there and violating it. This is give and take. They routinely attack each other,” he said.

It reminds me of a wedding event called Nalangu, where silly games are played between groom and the bride. Since it is all sounds very whimiscal, I am in favour of more Aman.

neeraj, all those you listed above *MUST* be done. In fact points 1, 3, 4, 5 & 6 should never have been done at all.

But, we need a military operation now of a ferocity that TSP would not easily forget. It is this that the US & China are trying to prevent. They know that the Indian leaders would not retaliate. The whole world knows the dhimmitude of our impotent leaders. But, they want to nip in the bid any outside chance of that happening.

I think some in the Indian leadership forget why it is important to retaliate and retaliate hard. A retaliation would cause or should cause many deaths to the enemy, but the enemy also receives a message. Any liberties they take with Indian soldiers or civilians has its costs.

Another thing that we forget when we try to tone down our "retaliation" and to underplay our military achievements is the element of fear. The more fear you produce in the other, the less chance there is that the other would even consider picking a fight with you.

So only a policy of "Retaliation" and "Terror" can really save "Aman ki Asha"! Only if the Paki actors, state or otherwise, have fear of us, would they leave us alone, thus giving the politicos in India and some taqiyya-baji Pakistanis the leeway to explore the prospects of peace in "South Asia"!

We need to RETALIATE. And Retaliation needs to BRUTAL. And Brutality needs to be VISIBLE. Give Piss a Chance!

RajeshA, our leaders (of all colours) need a certificate from the world community (whatever that means) for the restraint shown even in extreme provocation. They need to hang it in the Parliament. In fact, the Pakistanis are frustrated by Indian inaction. They want some action, but India is steadfastly refusing to pick the gauntlet. Some Indian analysts, including here in BRf, call it Chanakyan. Now, Pakistan has no option other than to raise terrorism to higher and newer levels hoping against hope to see if the impotents would raise their tool.

I voted yes and no, since two options are allowed.

We should excuse the Pakistanis who are our brothers. Islam is a religion of peace. it is our casteism that is the real problem.

We should introduce reservation for Pakistanis in India.

SS-ji , been telling this for a long time.....violence is the only language that the US , TSP , Russia understand. Only India seems to be "talking" a different language.

It is useless to blame the netas here. It is the Indian strategic circles - those guys are the ones who failed the nation. 60 years they have had....6 decades ....and a "final solution" ( yes, the usage is intentional) for the problem from the North-West still has not even formed yet . Headless chicken they are. Heck they cannot convince a bunch of netas to change their strategy wrt TSP...what the faq did they learn?

When the US announced aid for TSP, why has not any PM / babu / peon made a statement that that the "US is fostering a war with India by arming TSP?" We have reached a stage where we aren;t even responding to dangerous developments in the 'hood. If any babu is reading this - here is a bit of advice "why don't you learn from TSP on how to deal with US?" - they smash the Amreekis and still get paid for it...you are a naieve baccha!
You call the US ambassador, give him a dressing-down and then show them coward-convert Pakis that it is not just Amreekis and Afghanis who are ready to kill them...

SSridhar garu,

I wonder how the general Indian feels about the definition of 'Neta'! Does it still mean a leader, whose duty is to protect the people, and to ensure that the might of the people grow, or is it someone who provides good governance, or is it someone who simply occupies a political post, or has the view changed into a servant of Anglo-American and Islamist interests in India.

I think those Netas who now say, "An eye for an eye, would make everyone blind", should relieve their problem by first taking out their own eyes, for that is one way, nationalists can ensure that these 'Netas' are spared the sight of blind people!

From NightWatch
Indian press reported a second security incident occurred on 8 January in a central sector of the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir State. The Indians claim that a Pakistan Army team killed two Indian soldiers while operating a half kilometer on the Indian side. According to the press, one of the Indian soldiers was decapitated and his head taken back to the Pakistan side of the Line of Control. The Indian Army said the Pakistan Army team was driven back across the border after a 30-minute gun battle. It also confirmed that the body of one of the soldiers had been mutilated. Indian military authorities have protested the incident to their counterparts, but the Pakistanis deny any action took place. Comment: The only explanation provided by the Indians for the two incidents this week is a sudden increase in militant infiltration from Pakistani Kashmir into Indian Kashmir. The normal time for infiltration, however, is late autumn to help the Kashmiri militants prepare for winter. The timing of the incidents relative to the promulgation of a new Pakistan Army doctrine last month is suspicious. The new doctrine establishes suppression of internal security threats as a top priority for the Pakistan Army. Hard liners, especially in Pakistan's intelligence service, insist that India remains the highest priority threat. They also disdain Army support to civil law and order authority as a police task. They have the motive, means and opportunity to punctuate their argument with manufactured incidents along the Line of Control in Kashmir. This is a hypothesis at this time. The probability of escalation remains low, especially if hardliners primarily are attempting to make a point to the National Security Council of Pakistan.
