Haley Bhi Koi Shak Hai ?
WASHINGTON: The United States was involved in “intensive counselling” during the recent crisis along the Line of Control, urging both India and Pakistan to revive direct talks, says the State Department.Last month relations between India and Pakistan deteriorated rapidly after clashes along the LoC left several soldiers dead. The Indian media highlighted a report claiming that Pakistani forces had decapitated an Indian soldier but later some Indian newspapers reported that Indian troops too had decapitated Pakistani soldiers.Last week, Pakistan also submitted a report to the United Nations, detailing how Indians had disfigured Pakistani soldiers in the LoC clashes. However, relations between the two countries have improved since, with both sides restoring people-to-people contacts and cross-border trade.Asked if the United States had played a role in reducing tensions between India and Pakistan during this crisis, State Department’s spokesperson Victoria Nuland told reporters that it had, through US ambassadors in both Delhi and Islamabad. The two ambassadors, she said, had been “intensively counselling direct dialogue. And we’re very gratified that that was restarted.”
Now we know who was behind the sudden spurt of articles in English media blaming the Indian army for over-reacting and doing an equal equal because it also beheads Paki jihadis. It is easy to identify traitors on the payrolls of American embassy -- just read the names of the authors of these articles, starting with Praveen Swamy and S. Vardharaja. Traitors all who will sell their own grandmothers for American dollars. It seems the Americans have managed to buy out all the journalists in India. Just one nod from the American embassy, and these paid "journalists" start producing scripted reporting that takes the line what the Goras want to take.

I think SDREs didn't want to see it escalate from day 1. So US and India is on same page imo. I always thought it was DC who told Birkin to STFU and pass the message on. Looks like thats exactly what happened.

Kindly do not insult SDREs any more, we are already a very insulted lot. The wishes of SDREs do not matter at all.

The US viceroy who has usurped power and his chamcha's are fully aligned with the US world view, that the important thing is for US interests to be served, trivial small things like death of soldiers, who are anyway paid to die, and even their torture and mutilations are side shows which get in the way of important things like looting the country blind while the chance exists.

So SDRE actually wanted a suitable message, but even wanting that is a sin in eyes of current INC and its chamchas who are eating from that gravy train.

I see a possible drawback with Modi's idea: LoC is known for cross border shelling, within few days of installation for the solar panel grid near the border, they could be taken out or badly damaged. We will then spend money just repairing them back.

We should instead do research on miniature thorium reactors that can go underground.

Yes and in order to secure the environment-friendly solar panel installations, we would have to push back the border!

Rajesh garu, another possible way is to announce unequivocally that since solar panel grid will be installed our side of the border, any kind of attack on them will be considered an out right act of war and will be punishable by destruction of property with heavy shelling from us and Paki land encroachment.

venug ji,

this was the explanation given by Israel for the buffer zone - security for Israeli citizens and infrastructure.

If Pakis don't behave, a buffer zone would have to be created on "their" side of the border.

It will Require the good numbers of NOKO style artillery and the inventory of 200000 Golas to be fire on short notice > UPA/AKA will never approve this against their brothers paki in the spirit of CBM , Vote Bank and Psecularism.
