What Lollywood lacks is good lights, that's why SDRE Rajnikanth is successful while the TFTA super momeen mard or Lollywood are not, this kaanspiracy shud not be taken "light"ly.

Adnan sami's ex wife famously said that Pakistani actors and actresses were taller and fairer than their Indian counterparts but lighting and makeup was better in india.

Speaking of actors and actresses..
from TFT such gup.

To sic or not to sic

The following Press Release has been sent out by Mr Satish Reddy, presumably on behalf of Veena Malik. While there are many errors in the text, TFT will not presume to correct them with the customary sic:

"This year is very lucky for Bollywood sexy siren actress Veena Malik. She is doing six back to back movies including 'The City That Never Sleeps' where she will break Guinness Book of World Records which is directed by Haroon Rashid and produced by Satish Reddy. Now she is ready to make Punjabi's to groove with her super hot item number in upcoming Punjabi movie 'Jatts Golmaal' which is directed by Kshitij Chaudhary and Arya Babbar in a lead role. She was seen wearing Lehenga and Choli which raises the temperature of peoples. Veena Malik said, 'It was great fun I loved the song and this is first time I had done an item number in Punjabi movie. I have never done that before and Farah Khan Team has shot it amazingly. I am looking forward to it because its fun song and I hope peoples love it.'

Veena doles out thumkas and happily heaves her glow in the dark bosom as her co-dancers look on with lecherous delight. The raunchy item song sung by Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan."

Soap opera

The Pakistani television productions industry is in uproar against the Turkish soap operas that have captivated viewers across the country. Amongst audiences, they are deemed kosher, despite the dresses, plunging cleavages, and touchy-feely footage, because they're coming from a Muslim country. But the same sort of revealing footage from Pakistani production houses would invite fatwas and persecution. So, the latter are gnashing their teeth, trying to block the Turkish soaps, saying they'll go out of business. The irony is that a famous actor-producer who is leading the opposition to Turkish soaps has defaulted on her payments to her actors.

why should it matter now? TSP will get money with Kerry or without Kerry, what is new? Clinton signed TSP's cheques and signed on the dotted line that TSP is not a fomentor of terrorism. They are blind as bats anyways willing or otherwise. When American courts announced that TSP's ISI is absolved of any wrong doing and is given clean chit, this is nothing. It is US that is the fomentor of terrorism. Global War Against Terrosim, what a joke! the machinery which is waging a war against terrorism itself has a bunch of terrorist supporters and financiers and the leader of the pack is leading a war on terrorism. I love USA.

Do we really need to fondle Jinnah’s Pakistan? —Huss aint La dim
Dead Man Ke Pakistan Ko Focle Matt Karo

Without taking any sides whether Jinnah was an Islamist or a secular person or wanted an Islamic or secular state, I believe both sides of the aisle can present reasonably authentic evidence to support their claims on what Jinnah viewed Pakistan as. The secular minded and liberals in Pakistan quote the constituent assembly speech where Jinnah clearly talked about the separation of religion from state affairs. The Islamists, on the other hand, like to quote Jinnah’s pre-partition speeches where his entire vision was to create a homeland for the Muslims of India because they were different in blood, culture, ethics, etc, from the Hindus. They argue that if Pakistan is for Muslims then why should it not be an Islamic state where the laws of Islam should prevail. This debate is not only redundant but has gotten into a dense framework of complexities, largely because both sides fail to understand the ‘political and contextual angle’ of Jinnah’s speeches, that we have actually lost the purpose of what exactly we need to take out from the debate on Jinnah’s vision. Having any further dialogue and debate on such a topic is unlikely to get us anywhere. And if we are not getting anywhere on this topic, better would be to abandon it completely and not carve disunity of ideas and integrity issues. How Pakistan should be today has nothing and should be nothing to do with what Jinnah wanted and why he wanted it so for two basic reasons. First, it was not ‘only’ Jinnah who made Pakistan; it was the effort of each and every one who suffered during that period to make this country. Hence, the people who are equally responsible for making Pakistan, it is up to them and their generations to decide what and how exactly they want to see this country. If the majority in the country wants to see Pakistan as an Islamic state with the strict enforcement of Sharia, there is no power that should stop the people from achieving this purpose. Similarly, if the majority of people in Pakistan are interested in adopting a minimum interference of religion in political and government operations, it should be so.Second, there needs to be a realisation that Jinnah was the ‘lawyer’ for the case of Pakistan. He argued for it, and won. However, Jinnah was never the visionary or a revolutionary strategic thinker to guide the course of the nation. If anybody at all in Muslim League was a strategic thinker, it was Sir Daffarullah Khan, who was also the author of the Lahore Resolution, which for the first time chalked out the idea of Pakistan. Khan, however, belonged to the then Islamic sect of Ahmadis and thus his role over the years was kept secret, until recently when documents and letters written by Lord Linlithgow revealed the centrality of his role. Hence, there should be a little less stress on ‘Jinnah’s Pakistan’, because honestly, there is none; and scratching out Jinnah’s vision forcefully has only served to confuse the people and obfuscate the roadway to progress.

Media should avoid negative portrayal of Pa'astan says Property Dealer PM

Even more candidly, the premier specifically asked the media, and new channels in particular, to carry out self censorship and cut out parts where speakers vent their views against Pakistan.
The government’s cause of concern arises when facts are compromised and opinions are presented as facts. My advice to the media is that accuracy should never be compromised at the altar of ratings

The idiot does not see the irony in these two contradictory statements.

PMO Piqued by MHA's clumsy media strategy during Rehman Malik's visit
Everyone is trying to blame 'media strategy' for the fiasco. It is like Pakistan blaming its 'image' for its problems. Of course, the Indian media is pathetic to say the least, at times coming close to being treasonous. However, that does not absolve the minister and his ministry. Shinde and his secretaries in MHA simply failed to rebut Rehman Malik strongly in public, allowing Malik to abuse us without let or hindrance. This behaviour cuts across party lines and media houses. Who can forget the disastrous editors' meeting with Gen. Musharraf in c. 2002 when the editors as well as the GoI kept quiet ?
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has sought a report from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on its “inept” media strategy during the recent visit of Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik, when he raised certain controversial issues that the Indian side failed to counter effectively. INEPT

Unhappy with the kind of negative publicity the Indian government got nationally as well as internationally from the much-hyped visit, the PMO has asked clarifications regarding three instances where Mr. Malik was given unscheduled access to the media that allowed him to raise controversial statements such as equating the Babri mosque issue with the Mumbai terror attacks, giving a clean chit to the 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed and putting its onus on Indian investigating agencies and the issue of torture of Kargil martyr Saurabh Kalia by the Pakistan army.

When Mr. Malik arrived in Delhi last Friday, the media was supposed to have a “photo opportunity” and take pictures at the airport. Instead, he was allowed to interact with TV and print journalists, where he spoke about Saeed and Captain Kalia.

At a function organised to formalise a new visa regime, the event was open for visual media only so that they could take pictures and video clippings, but Mr. Malik and Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde answered some questions. It was here that Mr. Malik again put the entire blame on India for not giving credible evidence against Saeed.

While Mr. Malik took maximum mileage of the event, Mr. Shinde just charged Pakistan with not fulfilling its earlier comments.

The PMO wants to know that when an earlier scheduled joint press briefing of the two Ministers was cancelled then why media was allowed to ask questions

Government sources say the PMO and some senior Ministers, who were against Mr. Malik’s visit to India, are also unhappy with the MHA not coming out with prompt reactions to the visiting Minister’s contentious statements. {If the PMO's office and senior ministers were against the visit of Malik, why did they not put their foot down and stop it ? If the PM could not control his ministers like Shinde or Raja etc., he should dismiss them or he himself should resign. This Prime Minister's policies so far vis-a-vis Pakistan do not pass muster of posing any challenge to Pakistan. It is obvious therefore that they are now trying to distance themselves from the serious fiasco.}

They are also critical of the MHA for not briefing to the Indian media informally, as the Ministry of External Affairs usually does during such important occasions, on what was happening during the talks or to counter Mr. Malik’s statements. They want to know the logic of not interacting with the Indian media when Mr. Malik and Pakistan High Commission officials were passing on all the information of what was going on during the visit.

Pot calling the kettle black? There was no formal or infomal media briefing on what went on in the meeting between MMS and the turd. The only info came from the pakis. Why didn't the PMO release any info atleast informally on what the PM told the visiting b*******d?

Pakistan welcomes Kerry
Pakistan has welcomed the nomination of Senator John Kerry as the next US secretary of state, with its top diplomat in Washington calling the seasoned lawmaker a “steadfast” friend of the country.

“We welcome news of the nomination of Senator John F. Kerry as the next US Secretary of State. Senator Kerry is a man of towering stature and accomplishments, having served the United States with great vigor and distinction,” Islamabad’s ambassador to the United States Sherry Rehman said.

Ambassador Rehman, who has been engaged in an extensive diplomatic outreach on the Capitol Hill towards improvement of Pakistan-US ties, said Senator Kerry has demonstrated through the years an extraordinary understanding of the complexities of South and Central Asia.

He has been a steadfast friend of Pakistan and is keenly aware of the strategic importance of a democratic, economically viable and stable Pakistan,” the ambassador noted.

“We look forward to his confirmation and to working with a statesman of his high moral standing and outstanding diplomatic caliber, to strengthen Pakistan-US relations, and to build peace and stability in South Asia,” she said in a statement released by the Pakistani embassy.

Desecration case: Lynch mob kills suspect, burns body in Dadu

A 35-year-old man detained in a lock-up in a Quran desecration case was beaten to death and his body was torched by a lynch mob who stormed the Rajo Deero police station on Friday morning, police said.

Officials said over 1,000 people from Sita village and its surroundings attacked the police station at 8am to take out from the lock-up the man who had been handed over to the police some hours earlier by Memon Masjid area residents while accusing him of setting fire to the Quran.

The situation in Sita village remained out of control for several hours as the mob doused the suspect’s body with kerosene at the main junction in the village before putting a match to it.

Instant justice like maggie noodles. 3 A.M Koran was allegedly burnt 8 A.M the suspect was burnt.

Pakistan Moves to Build Its Own Drones, Push Aside U.S.

BY DION NISSENBAUM

KARACHI, Pakistan—This country's defense industry is building what companies hope will be a domestic fleet of aerial drones that can take over the U.S.'s role in attacking militant strongholds.

The U.S.'s persistent use of armed drones to kill militants in remote parts of Pakistan has created a public backlash that has damaged the relationship between the two nations.

American attempts to reduce the number of civilian casualties by tightening oversight of such strikes have done little to reduce popular opposition in Pakistan to the attacks nor mute Pakistani leaders' routine protests.

But Pakistan isn't altogether against drones. The nation's leaders ...

Shiv, the last I heard about that sunni guy from lawhore was that he planted the green and white flag of pakhanistan on the roof of your ex-50,000 SF mansion and declared it the Pakhanistan Consulate in Bangalore. Now he holds regular classes in pakistaniyat and self defense for the city's momeens. No kendo-styx classes yet. Funding comes from KSA and PISS.
