This time, not the Italian Bahu, but the Bharatiya Nari reminded Manmohan Singh that Bharat will not forgive him. Or, maybe he was gifted bangles.

I am really impressed by Sushma Sawraj.

The top leadership definitely has a contingency plan, as evidenced after Rajiv's death. IMHO, Certain religious minority leaders too have options.
Please elaborate on this a bit further. I am really interested in this "evidence" or your own analysis.

One of my friends who was in a former "NGO" had mentioned that any politician worth his salt in India are high networth individuals (HNI). HNIs can easily move to the US if they have more than a million in investments. If you have around the same amount as net worth you can move to Canada and Australia and get permanent residency in a jiffy.

Even the great Tamil Artiste's son is a frequent visitor to the US.

During the French Revolution, initially the French folks pardoned the "emigres" i.e. the noblemen who jumped ship to another country the moment they were in trouble in the revolution. Later as the revolution got more and more radicalized the more uptight members such as Robespierre pushed for the execution of emigres once it was (just) rumored that they were working with the Austrian's and the Spanish to over-run France. After that all the emigres were guillotined the moment they were caught.

When sh1t hits the fan in India, although I dont think it would, we need to prepare a few hundred thousand public scaffolds for executing our emigres and RNIs. The reason I dont think it would hit the fan is simple: We come from a civilization that endured atleast 200 - 500 years of foreign domination, famine and poverty. We did not have popular violent revolt then so why would we have it now?

India's pathetic warnings to Pak ad nauseum,"do it one more time and I'll show you...",are no longer funny. They show that the ranks of the castrati in India are rapidly growing. We can now add Mani Aiyar and Praveen Swami to the long list of Congress castrati ,singing in unison under choirmaster and castrati-in-chief,Dr. Singh, whose squeaks so occasionally now, that many wonder whether he has also lost his tongue along with his ghoolies! His feeble hand movements substitute for the energetic baton of a conductor in control, rather, he tries to follows the eerie wails of the castrati choir,,a conductor-of-the-rear (pun intended)!

Dr.Singh's valiant rearguard actions notwithstanding, the barbaric Pakis care a hoot for him and the ranks of the Indian establishment. They have long since seen that the UPA combine amount to nothing and are meat and drink to every possible perfidy that Pak can throw at us.So where do we stand today? sadly, the honour of the country is now left in the hands of the local commanders on the ground to ...at their time of choosing ,teach the diabolic Pakis a sound lesson. We are told that it has happened in the past, quietly executed and yet again we have to depend upon our valiant men in uniform to restore the honour of the nation after its collective leadership has so spectacularly failed us again.

Watched BJP spokesperson Shiv Shankar Prasad on HT yesterday. Glad to hear his clarity about pakiness. He was literally speaking BRF language.

On different note Rahul Kanwal of HT is conducting sensible debates on the issue. Very sensible and to the point. I am impressed! Arnab on the other hand is loosing the point. His shows have become nothing but yelling and shouting. All important message and subject is getting lost. I am personally fed up.

The pot boils:

Posted in full from DT PK

Lawyers threaten to launch agitation
* Asma says SC order is part of multiple planning

* Move aimed at bringing army back into power

KARACHI: The leaders of lawyers community on Tuesday showed strong reaction regarding political developments, especially the long march of Dr Tahirul Qadri and the Supreme Court’s order for the arrest of Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf in rental power case, and threatened to launch an agitation to save the system.

“It is not a coincidence but a part of multiple planning. Lawyers support judiciary on principles but oppose the misuse (getting it right mates) of the judiciary which has caused instability in the country,” said Asma Jehangir, the former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association, on Tuesday.

Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club along with leaders of the Sindh High Court Bar Association and Karachi Bar Association, she said that these developments were aimed at bringing the army back into the rule. (why aren't we surprised?)

Asma said that these developments had targeted the democracy and the rule of law. She asked Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to justify issuance of prime minister’s arrest orders in hurry.

“Was the prime minister running away?” she raised the question. She said she was not defending anybody’s corruption but there was a procedure in the law for taking action.

She went on to say that if lawyers could agitate “to save anybody’s job” then they could go ahead to do more and save the future of their children. She said that they had sensed all such developments earlier back but now everything had been divulged before people. When asked a question about who was supporting Dr Qadri, she said this was no more a secret now. “People of the country have watched such films (from Isloowood) on several times since 1956 in the country in which one has to act as Maula Jutt and other as hero.”

She cited the ‘plane hijacking case’ against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif as one of the examples of ‘such films’. staff report. Plane talk

This is what the joker writes:
The opposition spearheaded by the BJP sought to exploit the public outrage for partisan political purposes.

3. Why this difference in our reactions to the 2011 and 2013 beheadings? The answer is simple. In 2011, the election year 2014 was far away. In 2013, it is just a few months away. There may be votes to be gained by fanning further and exploiting the public outrage. The BJP was the first to jump into the fray for indulging in the game of politicization of the barbaric act in order to reiterate its demand, which has broad public support, for a strong response to Pakistan, even if it meant freezing of the bilateral dialogue. A number of senior retired civilian and military officers joined the war dance promoted by our TV channels. Anyone who kept out of this war dance was ridiculed as a softie.
The senile old man is attributing inferior motives to outrage of Indians at seeing the beheading of one of their soldiers in peace time. What he is saying is that whenever Indians make these kind of noises, they are never stirred by patriotism or nationalism but by baser urges of winning the next elections or gaining votes or "exploiting" the incident for political purposes or indulging in unjustified war mongering. This old faggot deserves a kick up his backside.

The unanimous view in India is that India wants a genuine peace in the subcontinent, where all nations can get on with the task of removing poverty and collectively improving the welfare of their respective citizens by working together. However,a sham peace, where India is repeatedly on the receiving end from proxy Paki perfidy is unacceptable to the vast majority, but the method of dealing with Paki perfidy is in some confusion, mainly due to Yanqui interference in Indian political and security affairs and opportunistic politicos more interested in "looting and scooting" than doing their patriotic duty.

Ever since we bent over backside to Uncle Sam,thanks to the "good" Dr.Singh,The Yanquis have had a field day with Indian decision making in particular relating to diplomacy and strategic affairs. Many of the peace initiatives with Pak have had their birth in Washington and not New Delhi. The Yanquis want India to be defanged and part of their choir of castrati,a huge source of skilled manpower and a market of a billion+ for US economic and military interests. India has to be forced into a shameful "peace in our time" with Pak,so that the US and Pak can carry on their covert strategy to run Afghanistan by any means even if it includes pro-Paki members of the Taliban.
India has to be neutered into becoming a willing serf of the US's global military alliance that includes such "independent " nations such as Oz,the UK and Japan. These nations have to get the US's permission before they can go to the loo! Part of the deal is to force India into unimaginable concessions to Pak on the Kashmir front,in gradual steps that will not enrage the Indian population, but will effectively grant Pak a victory at the diplomatic table which they have never been able to achieve on the battlefield.

The Paki habit of duplicity even with its closest allies the US,shown in the Osama hideout scandal, and hunting US forces with the Haqqani hounds while hiding with the hares from US drones,is why Pak is in a spot so to speak right now. After a deal was made with the US over a peaceful US retreat from Afghanistan, their forces now need to be turned to deal with the eternal enemy,India. The window of opportunity of having a govt. in India composed of Congress led castrati is fast closing.Events in India with massive public outrage seen for the first time, have shown the Pakis that the MMS regime in in its last months .It is in terminal decline and the prospect of a BJP led coalition with no-nonense Mr.Modi at the helm has frightened the Pakis.,who see opportune times evaporating by the day.Hence the aggro right now and the hope that they might be able to conduct another Kargil "quickie",as the Congress castrati will succumb to Uncle Sam's diktat and his enforcement of a cease-fire that suits Pak.

PS:As said earlier, pak is continuing its offensive against the Karzai regime with a huge suicide bomb just now near the HQ of the intel agencies in Kabul,

Birkin Babe says that beheading is a figment of Indian imagination and India is war-mongering

Looks like TSPA may even launch a war due to tactical brilliance. Birkin babe is an extension of TSPA.
Pakistan's foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar went on a strident diplomatic offensive in the US on Tuesday, accusing India of "war-mongering" and embarking on a "narrative of hostility," while presenting her country as a paragon of peace and amity in the context of border tensions between the two countries.

"I thought war-mongering was a thing of yesteryears and we had put it behind us," the foreign minister of a country that is recognized as having initiated three wars against India said at an Asia Society talk, artfully glossing over her country's well-chronicled record of hostilities towards India to change the status-quo. Pakistan, she said, was "deeply disappointed" with statements coming from the highest levels of the Indian government, but it would not give up on its "deep abiding commitment to pursue peace with India." :rotfl:

"I am happy we are not responding in kind either by word or by action," Khar added, speaking of the reaction (or non-reaction) in Pakistan, where national attention is focused on the shadow war between the feeble civilian government, an assertive judiciary, and the domestically powerful military. "We should not close the door. The dialogue should be uninterrupted and uninterruptible. That is what mature countries do."

Khar was ostensibly responding to the familiar story-line in a New York Times article that cited Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accusing Pakistan of restarting hostilities in Kashmir and amid reports of New Delhi once again considering downgrading ties. Singh is widely praised in the US for pursuing a risky peace agenda with Pakistan despite what even American interlocutors say is the country's unremitting use of terrorism as a state policy.

But Khar relentlessly beat the peace drum before a mainly western audience in New York City, insisting Pakistan was the one pressing for amity and it was India that was upping the ante. "We don't take political mileage through hostile narrative," she said, suggesting that the border spat had become fodder for domestic politics in India. "The doors to dialogue should remain open rather us speaking through public and the media."

While platitudes flowed thick and fast from the foreign minister of a country accused of sponsoring terrorism against its neighbors, she also brushed aside charges relating to the beheading of an Indian soldier, saying Pakistan had "looked intensely" and "found no evidence of an incident like this." {Oh yeah. Throwback to the early days of 26/11. Always in denial}

"There is no question of anyone ever authorizing any beheading. It goes against our commitment to the peace process," she said. Besides, she added, there were mechanisms and processes to look into such charges. {What mechanism ? Your Thin-ass Brigadier refused to look at any evidence, disowned any responsibility and ran back to his bunker within 15 minutes of a meeting. is that what you call a mechanism ?} Khar also skirted a question about whether the alleged beheading indicated the Pakistani military had been infiltrated by Taliban and al-Qaida elements for whom beheading so-called infidels and "kaffirs" is a trademark. {Would like to know how she skirted that question. Did she refuse to answer ?}

Between the homilies, there was some disingenuous dissembling about the actions Pakistan had supposedly taken "at great political risk" to normalize trade, {Lying for a good cause is allowed in Islam, especially when it involves kafir India} although the ground reality is that Islamabad has again reneged on a signed commitment on this matter. Instead, Khar accused India of going back on recent visa agreements.

Some of the mendacity was called out by the audience during searching questions about the Pakistani military establishment's ties to Osama bin Laden and the Haqqani terrorist group. Backed into a corner by a question about her army chief Pervez Ashfaq Kayani describing the Haqqani group as a "strategic asset," Khar bailed out of it by saying, "that is not his view now."

When asked about corruption in Pakistan, her response was to point out there was corruption in all countries, particularly in India where there had been many scams. :rotfl: {You can't take India out of a Pakistani}

MMS's "good friend" talks like this. Familiarity breeds definite contempt

Hina Rabbani Khar equates Pakistan with India, says PM Manmohan Singh 'faced corruption charge'
Even as corruption charges threatened to topple Pakistan's second premier in a row, the country's Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar drew a parallel with India, saying Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had also faced "very big" allegations.

"The problem of corruption plagues many countries within South Asia and elsewhere also. You saw many many scandals of corruption and allegations on the Prime Minister within India also very recently and very, very big ones," she said here.

She was responding to a question at an event at the Asia Society yesterday on the "tremendous corruption" in Pakistan, which has led to Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry ordering the arrest of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf for allegedly receiving bribes in power projects.

Qadri addresses supporters; police register FIR against TMQ chief
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police lodged a First Information Report (FIR) on Wednesday against Tehrik-i-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri, DawnNews reported.

The FIR was registered at the federal capital’s Kohsar police station.

Qadri was delivering an address as his supporters continued their sit-in for the second day at D-Chowk near Parliament House in Islamabad and reiterated his demands.

His demands entail electoral reforms in accordance with the law and the Constitution along with the resignation of Chief Election Commisioner Fakhruddin G Ibrahim.

He also demanded for the care taker setup to be installed without the consensus of only two political parties, namely the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N)

During his address today, the TMQ chief said the long march was the harbinger of change.

He further said that the intentions of those trying to link the Supreme Court’s orders with the sit-in staged near Parliament House were malafide. Qadri added that “such people” should be ashamed of themselves.

Qadri said he considered Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan as a fellow seeker of change who was not tainted by corruption. The TMQ chief invited Khan to join the sit-in.

Referring to the Supreme Court’s order for the arrest of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf in the Rental Power Plants (RPP) case, he said that despite the court’s clear instructions to arrest the premier, some federal ministers were denying that the orders were meant for the prime minister.

The frequency with which the puki officials/jernails/politicians etc appear in the khanland is quite high as compared to India. Definitely a strategic alliance which our establishment leaves unacknowledged. Else somebody should have used this data point to point out the clear sponsorship of all puki actions by khan.

Mr Hina is at it again
January 16, 2013
16:37 Hina Rabbani: Qadri's 'million march' just 30,000: And this is what Pakistan foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar had to say on the 'Million Man March'.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has termed Minhajul Quran International (MQI) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri's demands "preposterous and unconstitutional" and said the cleric means "no good".

Khar, who is in New York to attend an Asia Society meet, said Qadri was a dual national which bars him from contesting provincial or national assembly elections, reports The Express Tribune.

She said Qadri has only come to derail the system, and that he happens to be someone who constitutionally cannot contest a single provincial or national assembly seat. She said it is preposterous that Qadri wants a role of the military and judiciary in the politics of Pakistan.

She added that he could also be arrested for it. Commenting on Qadri's ongoing long march in Islamabad, Khar said that the participants of the rally were around 30,000 in number by all accounts.
