The history of the entire Caucasus Region has been that of constant warfare against the outsiders...mass conversion to Sunni Islam added the extra edge. They have never willingly surrendered to the Czar/USSR/Russian authority. And during the Chechen wars, the same Wahhabi Islam virus struck these fellow....converting the 'freedom-fighters' into Mujaheddin and we saw the mess in form of Beslan massaccare. People would be fools to believe that they can control these elements...as they say, those who don't learn from history, tend to repeat it.

The brothers Tsarnaev lived rather well given that they were ostensibly unemployed. It seems that Tamerlan used to drive a Mercedes - http://www.forbes.com/sites/lancemadden ... x-for-u-s/

Has this image been posted already - Dzokhar climbing out of the boat by himself, apparently without any throat injury -

Unfortunately, the prime minister, Mr Manmohan Singh also displayed his ugly political side. He did not spare a word of sympathy for the victims of the blast just as he had done for the victims in Boston.

Doctor: Dead suspect had wounds from head to toe
..BOSTON (AP) — A doctor involved in treating the Boston Marathon bombing suspect who died in a gunbattle with police says he had injuries head to toe and all limbs intact when he arrived at the hospital.

Dr. David Schoenfeld said 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev was unconscious and had so many penetrating wounds when he arrived at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center early Friday that it isn't clear which ones killed him, and a medical examiner will have to determine the cause of death.

The second bombing suspect, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was in serious condition at the same hospital after his capture Friday night. The FBI has not allowed hospital officials to say any more about his wounds or condition.

Schoenfeld lives in the Boston suburb of Watertown and heard explosions from the shootout between the two brothers and police early Friday. He called the hospital to alert staff they likely would be getting injured people, then rushed in to coordinate preparations.

"We had three or four trauma teams in different rooms set up and ready," unsure of whether they would be treating a bombing suspect, injured police or bystanders, Schoenfeld said.

The older Tsarnaev's clothes had been cut off by emergency responders at the scene, so if he had been wearing a vest with explosives, he wasn't by the time he arrived at the hospital, the doctor said.

"From head to toe, every region of his body had injuries," he said. "His legs and arms were intact — he wasn't blown into a million pieces" — but he lost a pulse and was in cardiac arrest, meaning his heart and circulation had stopped, so CPR, or cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, was started.

Schoenfeld did not address police's assertion that Tsarnaev was run over by a car driven by his brother as he fled the gunfire.

The doctor said he couldn't discuss specific treatments in the case except to say what is usually done in such circumstances, including putting a needle in the chest to relieve pressure that can damage blood vessels, and cutting open the chest and using rib-spreaders to let doctors drain blood in the sac around the heart that can put pressure on the heart and keep it from beating.

"Once you've done all of those things ... if they don't respond there's really nothing you can do. You've exhausted the playbook," he said.

After 15 minutes of unsuccessful treatment, doctors pronounced him dead.

"We did everything we could" to try to save his life, Schoenfeld said.

How did the medical team react to treating the bombing suspect?

"There was some discussion in the emergency room about who it was. That discussion ended pretty quickly," Schoenfeld said. "It really doesn't matter who the person is. We're going to treat them as best we can."

so he was not run over by his bro..

possibilities:
1. he was thrown a pressure cooker bomb.
2. or he set himself up [btw, any pic of cops claim that the dead elder bro was strapped with explosives?]
3. or he was showered with bullets.
4. or the cops shot the bomb, that exploded near the dead suspect.

SaiK, Its not time for analysis but to gather facts. A lot of stuff is coming out and at cross purposes.
Lets the facts come out.
We don't know much about the Tsarnev family in US and in Dagestan.

- What kind of guns were the duo using?
- It now said the suspect #2 shot himslef in the mouth and can't talk? He was ablet to get out of the boat after that shooting. What kind of gun lets a person live after that?
- Did they find where the pzr cooker IEDs were assembled?
- Where they bought the ingredients?

What happened to the man that was arrested by the police in Watertown, stripped naked, and taken away? Any announcement on who he was?

It is being claimed that this was Tamerlan himself ... if you look at the first few seconds of the video it is certainly plausible.

As regards the shoot-out in which Tamerlan was supposedly killed - it can be staged.

The story of the person who was carjacked is also suspicious. Why would the brothers tell him that they were the bombers and then release him unharmed?

Also, one needs more clarity about the circumstances in which the MIT cop was killed. This cop killing had the effect of making the local police more likely to shoot first and ask questions later.

doctor meant the elder brother who was DOA.

younger bro did look in pretty good shape to be climbing out if he has shot himself through the mouth into the neck. I had posted a video yesterday which showed vehicle with a stick ripping the tarpaulin and 3 flash-bag grenades thrown in....there was no sign of the munna emerging though...the boat had a small room below the bow area with steps leading down from main deck so maybe he was hiding there.

the nanga guy was supposed to have been released. not sure why they made him take his undies off as well...nobody would have a stick of dynamite hidden inside the crack of their butt for sure. tv footage showed the cops as very nervous and waving their guns, with none approaching him lying prone on the road...I thought he was dead or something.

He was released shortly after his arrest, after the police determined that he was not a person of interest. Plenty of news reports of that are available

Did you check out the name of the person who was carjacked? He's a muslim as well. Perhaps they spared him because of this (Mumbai terrorists also did the same thing to a Turkish guy and his wife when they saw them start to pray).

If we concentrate on the older suspect and construct a timeline would be useful.
Is there one already?

Authorities want to question widow

CNN:
Boston Bombings: A week in review

CNN: Timeline of Tamerlane Tsarnev:

http://www.cnn.com/2013/04/21/us/tamerl ... ?hpt=hp_t2
October 21, 1986

Tamerlan Tsarnaev is born. His uncle, Ruslan Tsarni, says Tsarnaev was born into an ethnically Chechen family in Kyrgyzstan.

2001

The Tsarnaev family moves from Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan, to Dagestan, according to the state committee for national security of the Kyrgyzstan government.

Bombing suspect had video of Jihadist

Suspects' aunt questions evidence "They lived here for a year, not the whole year. They arrived at the school in 2001 and departed in March 2002," a spokesman at a school the children attended in Makhachkala, Dagestan, told Russia Today, a Russian state-funded television network.

2002

Parents Anzor Tsarnaev and Zubeidat Tsarnaeva immigrate to the United States with their son, Dzhokhar. Their three other children -- Tamerlan Tsarnaev and two sisters -- stay behind in Kazakhstan with an uncle, his aunt told reporters in Canada this week.

July 2003

Tsarnaev, then 16, is in Turkey in July 2003 for 10 days on a Kyrgyz passport, a senior Turkish official says.

He comes to the United States that month, along with his two sisters, his aunt, Maret Tsarnaeva, told the Toronto Sun.

July 19, 2003

Tamerlan Tsarnaev first enters the United States through New York's JFK International Airport, a federal official says.

2003-2004; 2008-2010

Tsarnaev is registered to fight with USA Boxing, the organization that oversees amateur boxing in the United States, a spokeswoman says. Tsarnaev delivered pizza and held other jobs while boxing, his aunt said.

January 2004

In an interview with the Lowell Sun newspaper in Massachusetts after winning a fight in a local boxing tournament, Tsarnaev says he grew up in Grozny, Chechnya, and moved with his family to the United States in 2003 in hopes of starting a new life. "I like the USA ... America has a lot of jobs. That's something Russia doesn't have. You have a chance to make money here if you are willing to work," he said at the time, according to the Sun. He also told the newspaper that he studied music at a school in Russia and played the piano and violin.

Fall 2006, Spring 2007, Fall 2008

Tsarnaev attends Bunker Hill Community College as a part-time student, a school spokeswoman says.

2008

Tsarnaev "got involved in religion," according to his mother. "Started following his own religion, never told me he could be on (the) side of jihad," Zubeidat Tsarnaeva told Russia Today.

April 2009
Tsarnaev is photographed training at Wai Kru Mixed Martial Arts in Boston for a university magazine story. The caption of one photo in a gallery describes Tsarnaev as a native of Chechnya and says he has been in the United States for five years. A quote attributed to Tsarnaev says, "I don't have one American friend. I don't understand them."

That same year, Tsarni says, he had a falling out with Tamerlan. "I got into really a state of shock from changes I heard, I wouldn't say I saw, I heard from Tamerlan," he told CNN. He recalled a 2009 phone conversation in which in response to some life advice he had given, Tsarnaev called him an "infidel." The young man also told his uncle he was not concerned about work or studies because God had a plan for him. According to his uncle, Tamerlan Tsarnaev's radicalization started in not in Chechnya, but in Cambridge, Massachusetts, at a local mosque.

May 4, 2009

Tsarnaev competes at 201 pounds in the 2009 Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions in Salt Lake City, losing in the first bout.

July 28, 2009

Tsarnaev is arrested for domestic abuse and battery after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, according to Spotcrime.com, citing Cambridge Police Department records.

2010

Tsarnaev wins a local heavyweight boxing title. "He said he'd gotten married and had a little baby.
He was a very nice guy," said Gene McCarthy of the Somerville Boxing Club in Massachusetts. "I brought him to the registration, and while he was waiting in line, he saw a piano and was playing classical music like it was Symphony Hall."

2011

Tsarnaev begins praying five times a day, his aunt told reporters.

Early 2011

Russia asks the FBI to look at Tsarnaev's activities, a senior U.S. official said.

"The request stated that it was based on information that he was a follower of radical Islam and a strong believer, and that he had changed drastically since 2010 as he prepared to leave the United States for travel to the country's region to join unspecified underground groups," the FBI said in a statement.

Summer 2011

After interviewing Tsarnaev and family members, the FBI says it "did not find any terrorism activity, domestic or foreign, and those results were provided to the foreign government."

Jan 12, 2012

Tsarnaev leaves New York for Sheremetyevo, Russia. It's not clear what he did there, but Tsarnaev's father has said his son was with him at all times
.

Officials have said they're worried about what might have happened on the trip.

"What I'm very concerned about is that when he went over there, he very well may have been radicalized and trained by these Chechen rebels, who are the fiercest jihad warriors," :(( said Rep. Michael McCaul, a Republican from Texas who is chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.

July 17, 2012

Tsarnaev returns to the United States, arriving at JFK Airport in New York. Travel documents show a photo of him with a beard, according to a U.S. official
who declined to be named because of the sensitivity of the issue.

It is unclear whether Tsarnaev made other trips to Russia. On Sunday, McCaul said he thought it was likely Tsarnaev made other trips to the region. "We know he's starting to radicalize in 2009. ... I could speculate that he was probably going over there more often. We don't have -- I don't have the evidence of that just yet. But that's obviously an area of focus," he said. "I know the intelligence community is scrubbing through all their records and that travel is very important, just given who the Chechen rebels are."

August 2012

Soon after returning from a long visit to Russia, Tsarnaev creates a YouTube channel with links to a number of videos.
Two videos under a category labeled "Terrorists" have since been deleted. It's not clear when or by whom.

Analysis by CNN and the SITE Intelligence Institute has uncovered a screen grab from one of those videos. It features members of the group Imarat Kavkaz -- identifiable by the logo on their shirts. Imarat Kavkaz is the most potent militant Islamist group in the north Caucasus -- which includes Chechnya and Dagestan.

Tsarnaev also appears to have posted and then removed a video of a militant named Abu Dujana, a jihadist leader who was later killed by Russian troops.

Russian security services killed Abu Dujana in December during an assault on an apartment in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan. He led a small militant group in Dagestan that had links to Imarat Kavkaz.

While Tsarnaev was in Russia in 2012, he spent some of his time in Makhachkala, where his father lives today. U.S. officials told CNN analyst Tom Fuentes on Sunday they have found no further connection between Tsarnaev and Abu Dujana, but the investigation into his activities overseas continues.

September 5, 2012

Tsarnaev presents an application for U.S. citizenship, according to the New York Times. The application prompted "additional investigation" of him in 2013 by federal law enforcement agencies, officials told the newspaper.
The officials declined to say how far that examination had progressed or what it covered, the New York Times said.

April 15, 2013

Two explosions go off near the finish line at the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring more than 170. Authorities describe the blasts as a terrorist attack and vow to bring whoever is responsible to justice.

April 18, 2013

5 p.m.: The FBI releases photos and videos showing two men they describe as suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings.

11 p.m.: Police respond to a call on the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where university police officer Sean Collier, 26, has been shot. He dies from his injuries. Police later say they believe the bombing suspects were responsible for the shooting.

April 19, 2013

Tsarnaev dies after a shootout with police in Watertown, Massachusetts. Hours later, investigators reveal that he and his 19-year-old younger brother are the marathon bombing suspects.
We should also impose important world events alongside. The key is to determine which world events influenced him.

From the uncle he is turning radical by 2009, The Russians make an enquiry in late 2010 and he hasn't visited Russia yet? The oddest thing I find is the Russian enquiry about Tamerlane when it appears he had not visited them yet. What prompted the enquiry?
It was one year later in 2012 he visits Dagestan. Interesting that Abu Djuna gets killed in same city that he visits even if its much later.

Also between September 5, 2012 when he applied for citizenship and April 15 2013 when he set off IEDs something drastic happened? Was it the Abu Dujana killing? But that was by Russians!

I support MMS for lack of interest, he cant make statements with conviction when nobody is charged or convicted and that too on daily basis.
As it is he is hard pressed for time stabilizing relations with TSP and UPA partners, add to that the He is subject to whims and fancies of Queen and the boy who would be king.

Hope Sadana ji takes notice no?

Apparently the aunt of the suspects swears that this is the elder one. Seems a muscular well-built person with a plausible resemblance.

The said individual's name has apparently not been released. Carjack victim's identity has also not been released.

Fox's Brian Kilmeade Proposes Bugging U.S. Mosques
http://www.mediaite.com/tv/shame-on-us- ... -islamism/
‘Shame On Us’: Fox Guest Rips Political Correctness ‘Poison,’ Unwillingness To ‘Engage With Radical Islamism’
If the FBI was warned about Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his ties to radical Islam, Fox & Friends‘ Brian Kilmeade stated on Monday, why wasn’t he stopped before the attack? Pete Hegseth, of Concerned Veterans for America, joined Kilmeade to discuss the “poison” that is political correctness. It’s not about discrimination, he argued, but simply going after the root of the threats. Some, such as Rep. Peter King, have already called for increased surveillance of the Muslim community, asserting that to be the root of many such threats and attacks.“Political correctness is a poison to our security and defenses,” Hegseth contended. “It imposes a willful blindness, both at the macro level when unwilling to engage with radical Islamism or whatever you want to call it — if you’re not willing to call it what it is — and at the micro level, at the street level. When you’ve got a question, someone looks suspicious, you’re not sure if you should act — and then you add another layer, of, ‘Well, they look like they could be Muslim, I don’t want to offend them.’”It’s not just based on faith or race, he clarified, but on threat signs. Kilmeade recalled a Pakistani professor who said he didn’t mind being profiled at the airport because he wants to be safe. “Why can’t we go through that model in order to narrow down who the perpetrators might be?” he asked.Hegseth said Boston should result in a lesson learned, pointing to the suspect’s links to “radical ideology” and controversial mosques. We should know who’s there and what they’re talking about, he added, “because those have been the epicenters of this type of activity. Shame on us if we don’t now again learn our lesson.”It’s not discrimination, he reiterated. It’s A + B = C.

Suspect charged with two counts:

USAToday:

Suspect Charged

...
Philip Mudd, a former FBI and CIA counterterrorism official, said the Boston attacks more closely resemble "Columbine than any connection to al-Qaeda."

Referring to the 1999 Colorado high school shooting that involved two young attackers, Mudd said the Boston case similarly involves attackers armed with commonly available weapons and explosives who worked in a "closed cluster" that is most difficult for law enforcement to penetrate in advance.

Though authorities continue to search for possible broader international connections, Mudd said key aspects of the operation — the acquisition of widely available materials, the absence of an apparent escape plan, little attempt to conceal themselves and the apparent lack of major funding — all point to a more self-contained plot.

"These guys didn't even bother to obscure their faces," Mudd said.

...
The charges mean the elder suspect is the main one who did most of the horrific acts of cop killing, car jacking, ATM stealing etc.
