johneeG's posts have to cross only 2 more milestones on the way to marathon victory:

a) A post that takes up an entire page
b) A post that takes up an entire thread (all 72 pages)

Go for it :P

More positive news from the US. We now are encouraging black people to adorn their natural hair!!!!

Here is a shining example for the same

We have historically made fun of "afro hair" in innumerable movies and other public cultural events and we are very sorry for it. All that is gone now, since we are all equal according to the American laws written by God in whom we humbly believe.

^^LokeshC. I agree. I don't know what they are complaining about. Saving the poor girl from suicide is not good enough for them?

Anyway, Here is a situation where 3 cops gave their own life to save a poor autistic kids who got stuck in a cinema theater seat.

Unbelieveble personal sacrifice by cops in Fredrick, MD

In the US, Cops go to extraordinary length to ensure that law is upheld. The amount of investigative work and due diligence they do to bring the facts out and construct a case is inspiring to say the least. No wonder the facts are so strong in DK's case as well.

If cops are so good, can prosecutors be far behind? Amazing work by prosecutor in collaboration with cops, saved so much money for a man, he didn't have to go to work for 7 years.

Judge appreciates collaborative work by prosecutor and police.

Doubtless, a system already riddled by corruption will inevitably become more corrupt, as well. For example, consider the "kids for cash" scandal which rocked Luzerne County, Penn., in 2009. For ten years, the Mid Atlantic Youth Service Corporation, which specializes in private prisons for juvenile offenders, paid two judges to jail youths and send them to private prison facilities. The judges, who made over $2.6 million in the scam, had more than 5,000 kids come through their courtrooms and sent many of them to prison for petty crimes such as stealing DVDs from Wal-Mart and trespassing in vacant buildings. When the scheme finally came to light, one judge was sentenced to 17.5 years in prison and the other received 28 years, but not before thousands of young lives had been ruined.

one of the positive things that every new entrant to USA immediately feels is the abundance of cop/police shows on TV. the slang of police jargon is an household commodity now. turn on any channel. and USA shows how it is liberating its people by caging them in agency after agency with law enforcement powers.

it is a lesson for india as well. NIA is a step in right direction. I propose the formation of 4 new agencies: Anti-Naxal Tactical Bureau, Internal Threat Protection Agency, Tribal Domain Criminal Investigations Department, and finally, Bureau of Central Coordination. ANTB, ITPA, TDCID, BCC.

But unfortunately, these agencies don't cover the gamut of criminal activities that are peripherally related to above mentioned activities. so to further improve the punitive power of the system, I suggest creation of Commodities Crime Investigation Agency, Rural Finance Fraud Bureau, and Internal Trade Regulation and Investigation Agency. CCIA, RFFB, ITRIA.

further, these agencies leave a vast area of neglected criminal and anti-constitutional activity that essentially arises from the treacherously hidden and cunning intentions of the Hindu majority against minorities. so, to further expand the coercive levers of the system, I suggest creation of Hindu-on-Muslim Crimes Commission, Non-Hindu Protection Agency, Hindu Threat Assessment Bureau, and a centrally empowered body called the Commission for the Reform and Restructuring of Hinduism. HMCC, NHPA, HTAB, CRRH.

These agencies and empowered bodies cannot truly function without a broad-sweeping constitutionally aided legislative and executive mandate for the control of Hindus. to that effect, I suggest legislative action via the Hindu-Subtle-Crimes Detection and Prevention Act. HSCDPA.

ANTB, ITPA, TDCID, BCC
CCIA, RFFB, ITRIA
HMCC, NHPA, HTAB, CRRH
HSCDPA

All of the above are urgent need of the hour. to protect and safeguard the nation from internal treachery and external misguided intentions.

The case of the extraordinary rendition of Osama Moustafa Hassan Nasr from Milan. A success story for US efforts to shelter kidnappers:

Italy Convicts 23 Americans for C.I.A. Renditions

Still guilty: Italy upholds verdict against 23 CIA agents in rendition trial

Ex-CIA Milan chief held in Panama over cleric abduction

Panama releases former CIA operative wanted by Italy

And a lesson by the US for Indian Diplomats on respect for human rights

Work-to-rule emergency services - no help unless you make a 911 emergency call first!

http://www.alternet.org/news-amp-politi ... d-not-call
Medric Cecil Mills collapsed of a heart attack right in a parking lot across the street from a Northeast Washington fire station, yesterday, his daughter begged nearby on-duty firefighters for help. They refused saying the victim had to call 9-1-1 first....According to reports by the Washington Post and WTTG Channel 5 News, three different rotations of people knocked on the firehouse door requesting help for the 77-year-old, and all of them were rebuffed by the firefighters who repeated to each of them that they couldn’t respond unless someone called 911.
Also, helps eliminate moochers that don't carry cellphones.

More positive news from the USA. In view of the massive gridlock in Atlanta due to icy roads, we are setting up a new transportation system.

We did some research and figured out that most people who got stuck in traffic were mostly Africans who seem to have been stuck in Atlanta (and in the US for some wierd reason we dont yet know, they look like fish out of water anyway). However we need to help Africans in America to travel fast through Atlanta.

The story so far:
0. The initiation.
1. The dictionary.
2.The White house takes lead in promoting the United States leadership in robotics.
3.The United States takes lead in high-technology -- haptics, robotics, and healthcare.
4.An editorial: the value of satire.
5. The Freedoms: Thou shalt not take the lord's name in vain.
6. The Law: In whom shall we place blind faith.
7. The Zeal: Where humans aim to imitate and excel upon sheep.
8. Hiatus to observe pastafarian sabbath

and, an anecdote for the young'uns, and aFAQ.

The hiatus and the observation of the pastafarian sabbath
--------------------------------------------
keywords: sabbath, communion, rabble rousing

(Feb 1, completely uncredited, yet again): On the promised sabbath, the high-priest revealed to the misguided apostle the way of the pastafarian life (mind you, this is a new strain of pasta, not quite the mezze penne you find in your local grocery store). Thus spake unto the apostle the revered saint (pasta 19:6.3):
  • The leaders are busy with their little mind games.

The populace occupied with their search of bread.

What then the meaning of rabble rousing, and unto whom does it benefit?
We know not.

We roused much rabble, for we promised to rabble-rouse. And for that reason alone.

The pasta guided us when it shone the path to rabble-rouse, and guide it must also the way to the quiet. The apostle was not quiet, probably should have listened more. But this much is clear, what wants to reveal will reveal itself. It does not need help. What remains hidden, must have a purpose in hiding.

To impart a purpose onto something is not the pasta way.

Thus ended the lesson. And took away the apostle from it the guidance that nature must take its own course, and delivery of truth can not be scheduled.

Here upon on the previous 7401th sabbath of the salad fusilli, was set in motion a movement of great importance. It will gain its own followers, and while the saints and apostles will come and go, the guidance of the pasta shall remain. And whoever seeketh the true taste of pesto shall find it no more than two mouse-clicks away. And so it was written.

Such news each would make a scandals in India if a foreigner is hurt. However see how beautiful it is in USA when an off duty cop is involved:
Krishna Veerapaneni said his daughter had always wanted him to come visit America.

"This was her dream," he said, a faraway look in his eyes. "I'm pleased we were able to come here."
Also note cultural difference issues that heathens and pagaans not used to -in general- absence of such issues.
"He said none of the occupants of his car drank alcohol."

It is not so bland and educational if a movie can be made about such an incident in India with all drama around pagaan and heathen culture, which all the occupants accidentally- who didn't drink alcohol- came from.

Well I guess this paper can't be about servants then. Must be the dumb hicks. I'm guessing Sangeeta Philip was a dumb hick too, until she got smart and declared herself to be a servant.
http://www.fred.ifas.ufl.edu/pdf/webinar/labor_roka.pdf
Florida specialty crop producers depend on a small army of migrant and seasonal farm workers to do several labor intensive tasks
There is no federal or state law that requires an employer to give employees a lunch break, and if a lunch break is given, an employer can deduct that time from total compensable hours. However, if a break is given and time deducted, than the employer needs to guarantee that their workers are completely “relieved of duty” During investigations, Wage and Hour officers will ask workers about their start and stop times as well as whether they take the lunch break as recorded by the company’s time keeping system.Inevitably, workers respond by saying that they do in fact eat lunch but the total time taken is far short of the time actually deducted.
Of the estimated 12 million people who are working currently in the US without legal documentation, only 1.5 million are estimated to be farm workers. The 1.5 million, however, comprise a significant percentage of the domestic” farm labor work. The 2004 NAWS reported that 56% of farm workers self-reported that they were not working with legal documentation.
