Zarb-e-zam zam is seeking to push the yahoos into Afghanistan. CIA and Unkil have substantially reduced their presence in the border areas and this is the time that Pakis will seek to push their proxies into afghanistan. It is also to create a beachhead for "good" taliban R&R that they can retreat to, without fear of the "bad" taliban.

Pakistan and JUD are teaching the new terror recruits about the mistakes that Kasab and his team made to try and make better terrorists.
This was back in 2009
‘Lessons from Kasab arrest’ part of LeT training module
A special “Kasab class” is part of Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT)’s training module for its new recruits during which they are told about the mistakes committed by Ajmal Kasab during the 2008 Mumbai terror attack.

...during ‘Daura-e-Sufa’ (training cadre for religious indoctrination) at Maksar Aksar Camp in 2009, the LeT bosses gave a video presentation to the new recruits in which there is graphic description of Kasab’s mistakes. Among the mistakes pointed out by the LeT in its presentation was the inability of Kasab and his team to destroy the boat that carried them to the Mumbai coast, speaking on satellite phones with real identities, inability to take any hostages and getting arrested...

Just goes on to show that Pakistan's and JUD / LET's terror planning and training goes on as before.
With the BJP in power, the ISI will try to polarize indian society and try to play on the fears of muslims.
We will surely see more prominence of groups like SIMI, major terror attacks to invigiorate the disaffected within Pakistan and within India.

Terrorism within India also gives a handle to the big bosses and big international mediators to play a role. They enjoy it, because they get leverage within India, and Pakistan when terrorism happens.

I am pretty sure, that having more IDPs from N waziristan, gives the ISI and JUD more recruits.
Notice how JUD rushes in with 'social work' with the IDPs there. They go there to actively recruit trainees for terror training.
This means that more recruits from N waziristan will join JUD, and will target Afghanistan a year or two from now. JUD will divert some of them to India.
The pakistan army is raising a lot of dust in N waziristan, an area that the telibunnies have left well before the farce began. Now if the US and Afghanistan have directed a majority of their forces at the Afghanistan - FATA border, that means these guys will be infiltrating at other places into afghanistan.
Yet another all out Taliban offensive on Kabul like back in the day is only a matter of when not if, once massa's/NATO's force levels have reached a critical low point.

TSP will not jeopardize its position post 2014. It will try to minimize the losses on the bad tellibunnies as well (you never know how these alliances change in the malsic world. Therefore, all the advance heads up including new shaving blades. Besides, the good tellibunnies are probably pointing out the bad tellibunny hiding places.

My post in Afghanistan thread on visas for Afghans.

The Wahabis came into the picture after the late 60s as far as the subcontinent is concerned. The real inspiration for the Pakis are the Afghans and the other ones are the Turks. During the Khilafat movement the Ali brothers asked Muslims to move to Afghanistan to live in the Dar ul islam.

Moving to Turkey the Turkish army template of whiskey drinking Generals keeping the bloody civilians on their toes was copied to the smallest detail by Ayub who also picked up very good tips from the turks on how to hood wink the americans. It is not a coincidence that the Turkish generals are going out of fashion at the same time as Erdogan bringing the Generals to heel in Turkey. This is happening as we speak in Turkey, the US is not only watching quietly but also cheering the transition and are actually unhappy at the Army push back as happened in Egypt where Sisi threw the MB out of business.

Hence why do we think the US will do anything in Pakistan when the Corp commaders completely come out the closet with their finger on the nuke button.

This source of Paki delusions need to be delved in more detail.

Foggy bottom on the side of the Islamists versus the DOD (Army) supporting the Mamelukes who are on the backfoot throughout the ME. Interestingly, the Wahabis who are the original Islamists are supporting the mamelukes against the Islamists in Egypt and Pakistan but are for the Islamists (ISIS) in Iraq as the Mamelukes there (Baathists) have been put of business by Paul Bremmer.

To simplify - I submit there are two parties struggling for supremacy in the Sunni world - Egypt, Turkey, Iraq and Pakistan. The Mamelukes (Army) and the Islamists (Erdogan/ISIS/MB/TTP).

Prize is the crown of Kabila sardar in these regions. Shia-Sunni dispute is a separate subject, hence Syria does not count. Wahabis will collaborate with Islamists against Shias if working with Mamelukes is not an option like Syris/Iraq.

Will make a good flowchart.

Labour of love: Mehwish Hayat

Awan Keh Gey Abbhu Na Aayee, Kanha Ho Tum Talibhayya< Kyon Bhool Gue Yeh Kuffariya

KARACHI. A three-second glimpse of Mehwish Hayat's jhatkas in a ghagra choli is really all it took to send fans swooning. The svelte actress' special appearance for an item number in upcoming Pakistani film Na Maloom Afraad has created a stir on social media, as the first trailer for the film treats fans to a quick look of the performance. With her energetic and willowy dance performances on stage shows for Veet and Hum TV, it is no wonder that the talented actress' role in the upcoming film has people talking. While the name of the song has not yet been disclosed by the film-makers in the spirit of building anticipation pre-release, we have learnt that the music for the number has been composed by Shani and Kami.We [Pakistan] are no less than any other country's film industry.” She adds that she feels strongly about representing Pakistan in the foreign film industry and is open to accepting any offer she receives from abroad. With Chikni Chameli as her favourite item song, one can only wait and see the moves Hayat brings to the number, which looks -- even by a glimpse -- like a rendition of the upbeat Bollywood songs that are all the rage with cinema goers in the sub-continent.

Population of NWA per 1998 census - 361,246
Pakistan claims 572,529 people have been displaced because of NWA operation. Even with a 2% population growth rate, the current population of NWA should be around 500,000. If 572,529 is not a random number, then whole of NWA has been displaced. So operation in an empty NWA?

Some Pakistani chatter about zero resistance by TTP and zero gun battles between PA and "terrorists". Talibunnies have all fled before the operation. I am sure some Talibunnies would have moved to Pakjab and Sindh in addition to Afghanistan. There is already a solid Taliban base in Karachi. Pakistan army propaganda is projecting this operation as the cure for terrorism but in reality it seems like a bogus operation. Once this operation is finished and declared a success, imagine the loss of H&D when Taliban strikes again.

btw, did anyone else notice how the so called Pak liberals, including the likes of Nadeem Paracha have bought the Pakistan army propaganda about the operation? No liberal is questioning the army reports. Probably the result of attack on chai ghar wallah.

Just putting it here for context

‘No relevance’, Centre asks UN mission to vacate Delhi office

The Narendra Modi government has asked the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) to vacate the government bungalow housing its office in the heart of the Capital, in a sign of its toughening stand towards the UN mission.

The Indian Express has learnt that South Block has asked the UNMOGIP to vacate the bungalow — 1AB, Purana Qila Road — which has been serving as its office for the last four decades. The government accommodation — a Type VII bungalow, about 7,000 square feet — was allotted to the UN mission “free of charge”.

Sources said in its recent communication to the UN, the government has conveyed that the UNMOGIP’s role has been overtaken by the Simla Agreement and the consequent establishment of the Line of Control. New Delhi is of the view that the UNMOGIP has “no relevance or role to play whatsoever”.

The UNMOGIP, established under a UN Security Council Resolution, was meant to supervise the ceasefire line established under the Karachi Agreement of July 1949.

Ms Christine Fair:

http://warontherocks.com/2014/07/the-pa ... pointment/

Reflecting this atmosphere of vexation with Pakistan’s double-dealing, in June 2014, Senator Carl Levin pushed forward an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act for 2015. Under the provision, the Secretary of Defense cannot waive the certification requirements needed to release $300 million of the $900 million Coalition Support Funds to Pakistan, unless he can certify that “Pakistan has undertaken military operations in North Waziristan that have significantly disrupted the safe haven and freedom of movement of the Haqqani network.”

There is no likelihood that the Pakistan army will decide to shut down its support to the menagerie of Islamist militants operating in and from Pakistan. Therefore it’s difficult to not conclude that many innocent Pashtuns will die, lose their property, and remain in camps for internally displaced persons so that the Pakistan army can—once again—fool its citizenry and the international community all the while continuing to play the double game that it plays so well. Yes. We’ve seen this show before. And it never has a satisfying ending.

From secret to public: the ISI in transition
To stem the tide of media criticism, the ISI has increasingly resorted to threats, abductions and killings of journalists and media professionals. There is an unwritten code in Pakistan, inherited from the British colonial administration in undivided India, to differentiate between the English and the vernacular press as to the permissible level of freedom of expression. What is tolerated in the case of the English press is not the case of the vernacular press – and even more so in the case of the electronic media.

The claim now is 787,888 displaced persons from North Waziristan. See here : (With starts and stops, registration process falls apart)

You are right, something is dodgy here.

Population of North Waziristan per Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s “official” website was 361,246 in 1998 census and had grown 2.46% during the period 1981 to 1998. See here : (Population Demography).

Assuming population growth at 2.46% p.a. population of NWA would have reached 532,933 in 2014.

Population of 532,933 is a long way short of 787,888 which is being claimed as the number of registered IDP’s arising out of NWA operation  .

The Uniformed Jihadi’s of the Military of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan have not only depopulated NWA, they have gone beyond it  .

Wait for ISPR to come up with the equivalent of 'high vacuum bulb explosion' or 'sun roof lever' ...
- 'the Islamic growth rate for hyper active tribal, martial race momins' or 'massive influx of furrin freedom phyters' - to explan away minor inconsistencies of population statistics.

Footprints: Dispatches from North Waziristan
By Sailab Mehsud
Published about 3 hours ago
Ever since Operation Zarb-i-Azb was launched, details emerging about the operation are completely one-sided.—File photo

IT has not gone unnoticed that ever since Operation Zarb-i-Azb was launched, details emerging about the operation are completely one-sided. Few details are appearing from the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan and those trapped in the area. The ISPR has been constantly issuing press releases making various claims, such as killing scores of militants, on a daily basis. But my clandestine trips to Mirali and Miramshah and the ordinary people that I met in Bannu show a different picture.

I met 65-year-old Zahir Shah from Miramshah in Bannu who was with his family in a truck. He had one of the most heart-rending stories to narrate about his difficult journey. “It feels like the Day of Judgment. I may seem alive to you but inside I am dead. No warnings were given about the impending operation. The bomb attacks started suddenly and I had to leave two of my sick children behind. I handed them over to Shawwal Scouts belonging to the Afridi tribe requesting them to bury my children should they die.”

Shah’s version appears to have some basis because some local journalists and I had managed to slip into Dattakhel, a village west of Miramshah in North Waziristan Agency, and were present on June 15 when a curfew was imposed unexpectedly and the operation was launched without a proper announcement. The aman jirga and the tribal maliks had been meeting officials for nearly a month to delay the operation. However, this did not happen.

According to Shah and other IDPs, Miramshah Bazaar, a source of livelihood for many, has been completely destroyed. “Air strikes have killed many civilians including women and children and hardly any terrorists. Ordinary civilians have also been shot at sight,” claimed Shah. Though Shah said this with authority, his claim — like those of the military — cannot be independently verified.

I was in Mirali nearly 20 days ago. There I saw a house reduced to rubble and I could smell decomposing human flesh. A bystander claimed that the house was bombarded at 1:30am in which 24 members of a family were killed. A girl of about seven to eight years of age survived. Noor Behram, a journalist friend, also undertook an arduous 26-hour journey from Miramshah to Bannu with his family when the operation began unannounced. “There was no way to get out. Roads were closed. We walked all the way to the Sadgai checkpoint on the Bannu-Miramshah Road. My wife and children traversed hidden paths; climbed mountainous tracks all day and night to somehow reach the checkpoint, which is a mere 25-minute drive by car from Miramshah. But it took us 26 hours to reach the checkpoint.”

Behram also spoke about the ordeal he and the other IDPs have faced at the hands of security forces during registration. First is the seemingly never-ending wait with thousands of men, women, children, senior citizens and invalids waiting for their turn. Then, everyone goes through a body search, their CNICs are checked, they are cross-questioned and are handed chits which basically say that they are not Taliban and are going to Bannu.

And there are numerous such tales. Mohammad Saiyyid said that air strikes nearly flattened his house. “I was picking bits of rubble when my wife screamed at me and said leave all this, let’s take whatever remains of our essential belongings, grab the children and get out of here. We thought we were the only ones but when I turned to look at my house for the last time I saw a sea of people behind me with their belongings and their families. We went uphill and covered a path of many kilometres. Women in our households observe strict purdah, to see them like this in the open…,” Saiyyid couldn’t speak further.

After hearing everyone’s stories, I cannot help but recall Operation Rah-i-Nijaat launched in 2009 in South Waziristan. At the time, the army claimed that within two months the operation would end. It has been five years and the operation is ongoing. Thousands of Mehsuds were displaced and are now living a difficult life in Tank, Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan with some of them subsisting on leftover rotis. The Taliban are present in South Waziristan where they are engaged in an insurgency against the state.

A Taliban commander Gilamand Mehsud called me up and admitted that their men have been killed and injured but not in the hundreds as claimed by the army. “So far nine men have been killed and five injured,” asserted Mehsud.

However, my sources tell me that four days ago, six bodies were found lying in Mirali Bazaar and by their appearance they seem to be Taliban. So far neither the army nor the Taliban have claimed them.

—As narrated to Maleeha Hamid Siddiqui

From the article above about the reporter who provided an on-the-ground report from NWA, here's a comment from one of the residents. Talk about Stockholm Syndrome!!.

Lastly, I would remind you that a large cross section of the Pakistani population still believes that the Lal Masjid brigade was made up of innocent women and children. Pakistan is suffering from a mass case of Stockholm Syndrome. We have gotten to comfortable with identifying with the terrorists and trouble makers as innocent victims

Nawaz not to withdraw complaint against Musharraf: Prosecutor
Aaj Naa Chorrenge Tumko MushLoli, Kholegey Terri Choli,Tumhe Samgh Ke Angela Jolie

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has fulfilled his pledge that he would not withdraw complaint against Former President (retd) General Musharraf at any stage during the trial, Akram Sheikh, public prosecutor in the treason case, confided to The Express Tribune. The prosecutor in the case is optimistic to conclude prosecution work soon.A member of defence team told The Express Tribune that they will definitely drag the trial because conviction in this constitutional crime means no pardon even from the President of the country. He believes that they will provide a long list of “abettors” to the court to justify their stance that Musharraf did not take the step alone.n Tuesday, an official of the law ministry submitted 20 more important documentary proofs related to the 2007 emergency rule before a three-judge special court led by Justice Faisal Arab in the treason trial against Musharraf. The evidences including attested gazette copies of emergency order of the removal of judges by Musharraf. The former army general is being tried under article six of the constitution in room number six of the Federal Shariat Court (FSC).

If Immy and that Tahirul Qadri guy along with my motely group of people like the Chaudhris of Gujrat, and Sheikh Rasheed manage to scrape together a decent coalition, Nawaz is a goner for sure. Nawaz is a goner too if Army manages to bribe/threaten chunks of PML-N

What is surprising to me is that PPP and PML-N have managed to stick together for so long and not giving the Army an opening.

It is like the reasoning of Gen. Zia-ul-Haq while hanging Bhutto. It is either me or him. The PA is unhappy with both PPP & PML-N. So, they have to fight it till the last and they are confident that the PA is in a tight spot being unable to mount another coup for various reasons. This opportunity to dare the mighty PA has come to a civilian government for the first time since the PA began to dabble in politics in early 1950s.

The PA is feeling naked without being able to threaten the civilian government with a coup and the emboldened Nawaz Sharif is determined to pursue the treason case therefore. Nawaz also knows that the judiciary has its own grudge too against Musharraf. It is a golden opportunity therefore, unless Musharraf somehow escapes from the confinement in Karachi somehow. The Army must be naturally very worried because the treason trial against Gen. Musharraf would open a pandora's box and other Generals would not be able to escape.

The MQM, which is a creation of the PA, has gone to supporting the Army after a hiatus. I'm-the-Dim is unhappy with the PA for its actions in NWA, which he is not openly revealing but conveying it through roundabout means nevertheless. But, he is very critical of PML-N and wants to seize power with the help of Qadri. The ANP remains neutral because it is so afraid of retaliation from the jihadists, but should be nevertheless happy with the PA. Fazur Rehman and Mulla Sandwich (aka Sami-ul-Haq) are naturally against the PA for its actions. But, I suspect that they are very unhappy with Nawaz Sharif too for the GoP broke the peace talks with their protege and seemed to have authorized the NWA action. So, on the whole, there is a formidable political array against PML-N & PPP.

Then, the Afghan situation is developing fast. Will the Army and PML-N see eye-to-eye?

Interesting situation is developing in Pakistan, but then, when has the situation been normal in that Allah-forsaken country?

Nawaz keeping Mushy in his basement to save his own Awaaz lest Jernails do the coup and practice their Sushi Skill on him, starting with neck. Once Mushi escape this Allah's foreskinned land, Fauj will be free to flush Sharif Brothers down the drains. in the meantime,Scorpion and Snake Skirmishes,Sangeet and Dance in full swing.

In shitland, the support of the Islamists is everything. The army and islamists were together until Mushy's kenostyx moment. After Lal Masjid many Islamic groups moved away from the army other than a habitual army ass licker Hafiz Saeed. Even the latter's LeT have now got involved with the Taliban and even ISIS I am told.

Sharif on the other hand has not pissed off the Islamists and is on fairly firm ground. The army currently cannot touch him. If they touch him the semblance of "democracy" goes. That is no problem as long as the army keeps on fighting Taliban. If they neither have democracy nor fight Taliban US aid will stop. If the fight Taliban, after removong Sharif - the army will lose all credibility.

The army IS losing power in shitland.

From "Japan has agreed to fund Diamer Bhasha dam" to "PM lays foundation stone to Diamer Bhasha dam" to "Diamer Bhasha dam delayed till 2037". Yes, 2037 :rotfl:

Bhasha Dam delayed till 2037

LAHORE: The commissioning of multi-purpose Diamer Bhasha Dam on River Indus has been postponed by another about 17 years as this mega project, having strategic importance, is now expected to be completed in the year 2037 instead of 2020, literally converting the water crisis into an existential threat to the country.

The kabila guards are being sent back to the barracks.
A key enabler is if Hafiz Suar is sent to jahnnum or worse handed to India.

I have seen some videos of TTP with H&K MG3 MMGs and also sometimes the G3 rifle. Now these machine guns are used by the Paki army momeen and the TTP's usual weaponry is the Russian RPK.

Now my question is, where is the TTP sourcing the ammo for their small arms weapons from, in Karachi and also KP. One plausible and reliable source I think of is the Paki ordnance factory at Wah. If this is actually happening right under the Pakis noses, it shows that the support for TTP in the lower levels of the Paki establishment is much deeper and cannot be eradicated with one off ops like Zarb-e-Shorba. Surely the best way to defeat the TTP is cut of their supply of ammo. I can bet one months salary that the ammo for the TTP is coming from the lower ranks of the Paki army and the frontier corps.

The Pakistan Diaries by Sudheendra Kulkarni

How do we move from here?

It is important for the Indian government and Indian people to recognise that Pakistanis' attitude towards India is changing - for the better. It is now time for India to reciprocate, with a proper and sympathetic understanding of the complexity of the problems our neighbour is facing. Just as we Indians think that Pakistanis should be responsive towards our concerns, I strongly think that Indians too should be sensitive and responsive towards Pakistani's concerns. There are several things we need to do. Most importantly, India should credibly assure Pakistan that we want it to survive and thrive as a united, sovereign, stable and independent nation and that it has nothing to fear from India on this score. Even while conveying our legitimate grievances, India should treat Pakistan as a friend, one in whose peace, prosperity and progress we have a vital stake. India should also treat Pakistan as an equal. Reciprocity counts for a lot in the eyes of Pakistanis.

My good friend Dr. Vedpratap Vaidik, a veteran Hindi journalist and writer who was also a member of the Indian delegation at the Islamabad meet, and who has been passionately active in Indo-Pak conversations for the past three decades, has a sage advice for fellow Indians - both Indian government officials engaged in Track I dialogue and others who are into Track II and Track III dialogues. He says, "India should act like an elder brother, and not like a big brother, towards Pakistan and other SAARC neighbours."

I hope these wise words guide Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his attempts to evolve a new vision for SAARC with India as its nucleus. His invitation to SAARC leaders, including his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif, to attend his swearing in ceremony in New Delhi on May 16 was certainly statesmanlike. Both in Islamabad and Lahore, I could sense that Modi has created high expectations not only in India but also in Pakistan. There are of course cynics, sceptics and critics - just as there are in India - but the number of Pakistanis who wish and expect to see a real breakthrough in Indo-Pak relations is not inconsiderable, and it is growing.

What is this nonsense - track 2, track 3? What the f is track 3? I hope GoI stops funding (if there is) for all these BS.

How many Pakistanis? Did he count? One should not make tall claims by just attending a page 3 party in Isloo and talking to some RAPEs. No data presented. Just some random statement.

I feel this track II business has an element of indoctrination embedded into it. They almost never meet in India, its always Bakistan. These track II clowns from India go there and they keep getting reminded of the keywords which happen to be

1) "People to people" -- A monkey-ass ha
2) "Strong Stable, sau-virgin Bakistan is in India's interest"
3) "India should be a bigger brother and be more considerate"
4) "Kashmir belongs to bakistan, and so does Siachin"

The long winded farticle by Sudheendra Kulkarni is an exercise in regurgitating the above. Every other track two idiot like MSA, Shashi The-wife-killer etc keep vomitting the same crap worded in their own styles.

They have no clue that Bakis have completely Islamized themselves, and the examples they follow are from the life of the prophet, who extensively used taqiyya against a secular kaffir (violation of the Treaty of Hudaybiya for ex). These jokers have no concept of Taqqiya and fall into the same trap that the tribe of Banu Quraish fell into 1400 years ago.
