Love how believers are able to say such obvious falsehoods with a straight face. So it is not the texts and doctrine that are a fault, but "misguided muslims" (who are obviously guided literally by writing in the Quran and the islamic hadiths) and "history" (where muslims went out and slaughtered native peoples all over the world, just like the christians). This is how you do rhetoric to hide murder and violence in plain sight.

“A closer investigation of Islam through proper methods of study and proper contextualisation will reveal that it is impossible for anyone to conclude any room for justifying, let alone do it in the name of Islam, the indiscriminate killing of innocent people on the streets. What we are dealing with are the repercussions of political decisions and historic forces that gave rise to insane acts by misguided Muslims who think they are serving Islam and Muslims” (By Mohamed Ghilani - Aljazeera).

Citing “Dabiq”, Mohammadden Terrorist group ISIS’s in-house magazine, Bridget Johnson writing in PJ Media reports that ISIS is pissed off that Mohammaddenism is described as “The Religion of Peace”. Citing “Dabiq”, article says that Mohammadden Terrorist group ISIS claims that only “Deviants” can claim "that Islam equals peace.” Again citing “Dabiq” article says that Mohammadden Terrorist group ISIS questions how “Zanādiqah (heretics)” can “obstinately claim that ‘Islam is a religion of peace’”:

Haha. It is the so-called liberals/leftists/taqiyagang who are behind cover ups. I was reading about Jews facing attacks in Europe and it turns out leftists start talking about Palestine on one hand and keep silence otherwise. Minority Jews in Europe have to deal with leftists too but, more strikingly, Jews are always accused in Israel-Palestine conflict and Muslims always victims.

21 coptic egyptian christians kidnapped in libya have been beheaded by ISIS and video released

the refugee traffic across the mediterranean is escalating as every islamic country in north africa is failing and people are desperate to get out atleast to some physical safety and a future for their kids.

the same issue is faced now by the tens of millions of shia in TSP. ironic that some of their ancestors in north india are at forefront of the creation of TSP and grabbing the government and white collar jobs once it was done.

Netanyahu has put some salt into euro wounds by calling for a mass migration of euro jews into israel where finally they will be safe.

effectivelly calling the euro govts helpless and weak in controlling the jihadists who are now card carrying EU citizens.

Egypt has no launched airstrikes against ISIS targets in Libya.

which means part of Libya must be under isis control if such obvious targets were there like arms dumps and training camps.

Boko harm is also going from strength to strength attacking Chad border area recently. the nigeria central govt seems unable to get hold of them for a stand up fight.

ISIS have claimed that they are on the South of Italy. Libya is largely "empty" other than Tripoli, someone from India or the US may find it hard to understand, but Libya is largely emptiness.

It is much easier for ISIS to take over large areas of Libya precisely because of that reason. Tripoli may end up the launching pad of ISIS charge into Europe. Spain and Eye-tully are going to have problems in the near future.

I doubt the ISIS would be allowed so much of room, unless the west also ditches the vulnerable European states.
I mean it is possible to spring a surprise in MENA and make a start, but entry into Europe? Tough one ....

It may be recalled that back in 2012 Hashim Amla was piously indicating how the Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament was haram “as he believes the T20 league spread things which are forbidden in Islam”:

IPL spreads things forbidden in Islam: Hashim Amla

Now in February 2015, Hashim Amla, lured by the Hindu Rupee wanted to play in the same Un-Mohammadden IPL T20 league by offering himself for the player auctions where much to his chagrin none of the IPL Teams bid for his services  :

What ISIS Really Wants

Nearly all the Islamic State’s decisions adhere to what it calls, on its billboards, license plates, and coins, “the Prophetic methodology.”

Japan: Ahmadi Muslim leaders criticizes Japanese publisher for book of Prophet Muhammad cartoons

Ahmadiyya Times | News Watch | Int'l Desk

By Mainichi Japan | February 11, 2015

TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Tokyo-based publisher Daisan Shokan released a book on Tuesday containing cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad previously published in the French satirical weekly paper Charlie Hebdo.

Some bookstores have decided not to stock the book, titled "Islam Hate ka, Fushi ka" (Anti-Islam Hate, or Satire?), in response to opposition by Muslims in Japan.

About 500 bookstores nationwide have expressed interest in selling the book but have not yet decided whether to stock it.

Riot police from the Metropolitan Police Department have been stationed around Daisan Shokan's headquarters in Shinjuku Ward since Tuesday morning.

The 64-page book has an initial print run of 3,000 copies. It contains 48 satirical cartoons alongside comments by 10 cartoonists and researchers on Islam.

Daisan Shokan President Akira Kitagawa said the book is not intended as an insult to Islam, adding, "We want this book to add to the debate on the limits of free expression."

Kitagawa said his firm has blurred the face of Muhammad in the cartoons in the book, so as not to offend Muslims.

But a Muslim organization has maintained that printing the cartoons themselves is an affront to Islam.

A Pakistani Muslim living in Aichi Prefecture expressed regret over the publication at a press conference in Nagoya. "We cannot forgive any insult to the religion," said 36-year-old Anees Ahmad Nadeem, leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community's Japan unit and operator of an Islamic mosque in Tsushima in the central Japanese prefecture.

He said Japanese and Muslims have never insulted or injured each other, adding, "I wish to see such relations continue."

He also said he protested to the publisher by telephone on Monday and Tuesday but failed to change its decision to publish the book.

Charlie Hebdo's Paris office was attacked by extremist gunmen on Jan. 7, leaving 12 people dead. The weekly's first issue following the attack carried a cartoon of Muhammad on the cover.

Last March, the Supreme Court upheld lower court rulings ordering Daisan Shokan to pay 35.2 million yen in damages to 16 Muslims living in Japan after it published a book based on leaked police documents linking the plaintiffs with terrorism.

Instead of critique of organized religion - which was the intention of Charlie Hebdo cartoons - the position of Ahmediyya muslims is clearly to pass off the attacks as reaction to insult.

The position of Ahmediyya muslims about Charlie Hebdo attack must be noted clearly here. Right to freedom of expression, violence in the name of protests, sidestepping any self reflection et al are secondary for the community.

SAS told to 'save last bullet for yourselves' in case of Islamic State capture

BRITAIN'S special forces fighting in Syria and Iraq are under orders not to be captured alive by the brutal Islamic State, it has emerged.SAS soldiers are believed to have been told to "save the last bullet for yourselves" if they fear they are in danger of being taken hostage by the terror group.

The UK's elite force were flown into the Middle East last summer, as so-called Islamic State extremists began to take control of large swathes of Iraq, adding to their territory in Syria.

Working alongside US Marines, the SAS are understood to have helped thousands of Yazidi refugees escape a massacre, as well as preventing the Islamic State takeover of the key Syrian border town of Kobani.

Reports of an order for SAS troops to "fight to the last man" rather than be taken captive by militants follows the horrifying murder of a Jordanian fighter pilot, who was burned to death by the Islamic State.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday: "The SAS have been told that if they are captured they can expect to be tortured before being beheaded, disembowelled or burned alive.

"They know there is virtually no chance of being rescued.

“Everyone taking part in the Iraq mission knows the risks.

“Most of the guys would never let themselves be taken prisoner – not by Islamic State (IS).”

Finally, an article that is making even "moderate" muslims accept that this guy has a point, even though they "disagree" with him because you see, only 100,000 muslims in ISIS are screwed, the remaining 1+ billion of them are just peaceloving and baby kissing lovers who don't mind universal imposition of shariat, since that is "moderate" islam from the standpoint of "moderate" muslims.

http://www.theatlantic.com/features/archive/2015/02/what-isis-really-wants/384980/

But Adnani was not merely talking trash. His speech was laced with theological and legal discussion, and his exhortation to attack crops directly echoed orders from Muhammad to leave well water and crops alone—unless the armies of Islam were in a defensive position, in which case Muslims in the lands of kuffar, or infidels, should be unmerciful, and poison away.

The reality is that the Islamic State is Islamic. Very Islamic. Yes, it has attracted psychopaths and adventure seekers, drawn largely from the disaffected populations of the Middle East and Europe. But the religion preached by its most ardent followers derives from coherent and even learned interpretations of Islam.

Virtually every major decision and law promulgated by the Islamic State adheres to what it calls, in its press and pronouncements, and on its billboards, license plates, stationery, and coins, “the Prophetic methodology,” which means following the prophecy and example of Muhammad, in punctilious detail. Muslims can reject the Islamic State; nearly all do. But pretending that it isn’t actually a religious, millenarian group, with theology that must be understood to be combatted, has already led the United States to underestimate it and back foolish schemes to counter it.

Right on the nose.

According to Haykel, the ranks of the Islamic State are deeply infused with religious vigor. Koranic quotations are ubiquitous. “Even the foot soldiers spout this stuff constantly,” Haykel said. “They mug for their cameras and repeat their basic doctrines in formulaic fashion, and they do it all the time.” He regards the claim that the Islamic State has distorted the texts of Islam as preposterous, sustainable only through willful ignorance. “People want to absolve Islam,” he said. “It’s this ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ mantra. As if there is such a thing as ‘Islam’! It’s what Muslims do, and how they interpret their texts.” Those texts are shared by all Sunni Muslims, not just the Islamic State. “And these guys have just as much legitimacy as anyone else.”

Why? Because this is a green on green sex assault case. Hence H&D needs to be preserved.

Tuvaluan ji, excellent article. While reading it I came across an interesting data point:

One of Choudary’s prize students, a convert from Hinduism named Abu Rumaysah, evaded police to bring his family of five from London to Syria in November. On the day I met Choudary, Abu Rumaysah tweeted out a picture of himself with a Kalashnikov in one arm and his newborn son in the other. Hashtag: #GenerationKhilafah.

Pakistan Day parade preparations: Seminaries, shrines to be shut down for a week

ISLAMABAD: In order to make foolproof security arrangements to celebrate Pakistan Day on March 23, the Islamabad administration has decided to vacate and close madrassas near Parade Avenue for one week, official sources revealed on Monday.

................{Snipped}.....................

The decision came after law enforcement agencies had asked the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration to vacate seminaries and shrines which fall under a two kilometre radius of the parade venue.

(source Tribune)

I am taking bets for IED mubaraks during this week in Slumbad.

Above news item about closing of Mohammadden seminaries and shrines "In order to make foolproof security arrangements to celebrate Pakistan Day " is causing me a bout of cognitive dissonance.

Recollect that Leaders of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan are always lecturing us Non-Mohammaddens that Mohammaddenism is the “Religion of Peace”.

At the Fifty Sixth Session of the United Nations General Assembly New York on 10 November 2001 then Military Dictator of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, General Pervez Musharraf said “Islam is a religion of peace”. (UN Speech Musharraf).

In a May 2011 message to the International Imam Council, organisers of Syeda Fatima Interfaith Conference at the UK House of Lords, the then President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Asif Zardari, said “Islam is a religion of peace and tranquility and totally opposed to friction and terrorism” ( Islam is a religion of peace, not terrorism: Zardari)

At the Sixty Fifth Session of the United Nations General Assembly on 27 September 2013 current Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said “Islam is a religion of peace”. (UN Speech Shariff)

Given the repeated statements of the peaceful nature of Mohammaddenism by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s Leaders, what is the need for closure of Mohammadden seminaries aka madrassahs “In order to make foolproof security arrangements to celebrate Pakistan Day” ?

More than the how given the ripe old age of the accused Mohammadden Cleric, I grapple with the why. With no mandatory rule of celibacy or even a religiously desired norm of celibacy and an entitlement to take 4 wives simultaneously, it is surprising that cases of Mohammadden Clerics sowing their oats in this illegal manner even comes up. Lack of religiously sanctioned outlets for sowing ones oats is certainly thus not an explainer for this kind of illegal behaviour. Meanwhile it appears that there is an Indian link to the story. The complainant was reported as being a Mohammadden Indian American

More details on what that perv did.
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/02/16/us/se ... sions.html

One woman said Mr. Saleem began touching her when she was 12. Once, she said, he sat on a bed, covered in a brown blanket, and put her hand on his genitals while he taught her a chapter of the Quran called al-Qari’a, about the Day of Judgment when people will be held to account for their good and evil deeds.

A second woman said that, when she was in sixth grade, Mr. Saleem kissed her and touched her, remarking, “You’re really growing up.”

The new allegations prompted the former secretary to go to the police, despite the concerns of some family members. She took with her the pants with the dry, white stain. “If this happened in my parents’ generation, nobody would’ve ever found out,” she said.

The young woman who first accused Mr. Saleem was born in the United States to Indian parents and graduated from an American college. She hoped the secretarial job at the school would be a springboard to a corporate human resources position.

While she was making copies in April, she said, Mr. Saleem pulled her onto his lap and held her there, lifting her dress as he groped her. “I just looked at the wall or the ceiling and just kept saying, ‘This is very uncomfortable,’ ” she said. After he left, she said, she found something sticky on the black pants she wore beneath her dress.

A "moderate muslim" now provides covering fire for the IS bigots with this rebuttal to the Graeme wood article, because you see, "Islam is a religion of peace" onlee.

http://www.middleeasteye.net/columns/isis-and-academic-veil-islamophobia-87953877

First the standard boiler-plate "moderate" muslim response that Graeme Wood is an "islamophobe" -- if a majority of the muslims didn't selectively read the Quran, then we would see all of them behave like the IS...but we don't...QED. I can't tell if this "moderate" muslim double-speak is conditioned response or a deliberate lie.

Moreover, he falls for what he accuses the majority of Muslims of: selective reading of the tradition. This has caused a great deal of confusion for many who try to put ISIS within a framework that places the group in a familiar category. Furthermore, Wood’s article and others like it can aptly be described as Islamophobic.

Wood swiftly dismisses the validity of beliefs the majority of Muslims hold with regards to Islam, disregards the official position most Muslim theologians have expressed on ISIS and violent extremism, and grants Islamic doctrinal legitimacy only to that which is being promoted by spokespersons from ISIS or their fans.

So why don't these "most muslim theologians" openly state their position of how they would interpret the very verses used by the IS and their theologians to support their bigoted, violent, islamism? Glossed over by this "moderate"muslim's response to Graeme Wood.

The argument posed in the article is that the only group of Muslims who take their Islamic texts seriously is ISIS.

This is a bare-face lie and a mischaracterization of Graeme Wood's position -- the position taken by Graeme Wood is that the arguments made by IS mullahs and "theologians" is just as well-learned and well-considered as the positions of the "moderate islamic theologians" that this "moderate" muslims waves his hand about.

In short, the only people who understand what Islam is really about as far as Wood is concerned are ISIS and academics who say what ISIS militants do is authentic Islam. As for the rest of over 1.6 billion Muslims and their theologians, they have what in the words of Haykel calls it, “a cotton-candy view of their own religion.”

If the "moderate muslim" who wrote this cannot explain to rest of us non muslims why he and his ilk are selectively ignoring the very phrases highlighted by the IS islamists, then he and his ilk *are* selectively reading their own religious texts as stated by Graeme Wood. These "moderate muslims" cannot claim that they are not selectively reading the quran and also not explain why they choose to selectively read the quran by not interpreting the very verses, then observers can only claim that these "moderate muslims" are being less than truthful and disingenuous in their innocent protestations.

In fact, if we were to ignore politics for a moment and focus on a religious contribution for radicalisation, quietist Salafism, as well as state-sanctioned Sufism in MENA, are currently the strongest recruitment tools for ISIS.

First, this "moderate muslim" needs to clearly state why he does not consider why the Quran is not a political document in addition to being a religious document -- only a selective reading of the islamic religious texts will allow "moderate muslims" to pretend that the IS is following a "wrong" version of islam unlike the "moderate" muslims who are so moderate that they get to pretend that the verses and interpretations of them that they use every time they commit murder and mayhem are not relevant, and therefore islam is blameless.

All in all, if this is the best defense these "moderate muslims" have for the inherent bigotry in their texts and pretending the IS behavior has nothing to do with the tenets of islam as spelt in the Quran, then they are being less than truthful than the IS people who are at least very open as to how they choose to read the Quran.

All of this horsesh!t response from the "moderate muslim" culminates in the usual "root causes", i.e., palestine, drone attacks, etc. etc. etc., and therefor Graeme Wood and his kind are all islamophobes -- islam and muslims are just the victims onlee, as always.

An analysis of what ISIS is about and what it wants that looks to Islam as a causal source of their behaviour is not only misguided, but also harmful. It obscures the root causes for why we have an ISIS, an al-Qaeda, an Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, and any of the other groups that have risen and continue to arise. It creates further confusion and contributes to a rising Islamophobic sentiment in the West. And when given the guise of academic rigour, it accomplishes all of this rather perniciously.

Pathetic.

The author is a "trained student" of islam which explains his duplicitous two-faced rhetoric as he defends the indefensible...real smooth.
Mohamed Ghilan is a classically trained student in Islamic law and theology and is currently a neuroscience PhD candidate at the University of Victoria, Canada.

What is more amusing is that all the oiseaules like the editor of Middle East eye who pretend there is this "new atheism" that is somehow really different from "vanilla atheism". Ignore what is being said and pretend that the problem lies with messengers since the message is "islamophobic" entirely buying into lingo of bigoted islamists in CAIR and other hard core islamist groups.

CJ Werleman @cjwerleman · 2m 2 minutes ago
Obama: "We are not at war with Islam" @SamHarrisOrg: "We are at war with Islam" Confusing times for Obama voting New Atheists.

Christian fundamentalists are bigots. Islamic fundamentalist are bigots. New Atheist fundamentalists are bigots.

So essentially challenging the "word of god" in religions is "bigotry" -- black is white and day is just a brighter night according to these neo-liberal mofos who are not liberal by a long shot, just apologists for religious fundamentalism of some stripes.

Two articles on the “Root Causes” of Mohammadden Terrorism, both pointing to the elephant in the room, namely the baleful role of Mohammaddenism in driving Mohammadden Terrorism.

First a National Review on Line article by Ira Straus titled “The Actual Root Causes of Islamic Terrorism”. Article says “Hint: They have nothing to do with Western “exploitation”. Article then goes on to say “The root causes are two, and only two: Islam, and Islamism”:

The Actual Root Causes of Islamic Terrorism

Second an article in CNN titled “Nonsense about terrorism's 'root causes'”, where Peter Bergen takes exception to the US position that “terrorism has something to do with lack of opportunities and poverty”. Bergen then goes on to say “So if it's clearly not deprivation that is driving much Islamist terrorism, what is? For that we must turn to ideology, specifically religious ideology.”:

Nonsense about terrorism's 'root causes'

Ozzies taking action against terrorism:
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-31579804
Australia will toughen its citizenship laws as part of a new anti-terrorism strategy to combat rising threats, PM Tony Abbott has announced.

He said citizenship for dual nationals involved in terrorism could be suspended or even revoked.

People born in Australia could also lose some privileges if they broke anti-terror laws, he added.

Officials have long warned that the country faces growing security threats, especially from radical Islamists.

They point out that dozens of Australian nationals are fighting for Islamic State (IS) militants in Iraq and Syria, and a number of them are believed to have returned to Australia.

Will It Take The End of the World For Obama To Recognize ISIS As 'Islamic'?
( These ME desertwalas are really s..up Snakes &Scopions.)
At the White House summit on “countering violent extremism,” President Obama declared that violent jihad in the name of Islam isn’t the work of “religious leaders” but rather “terrorists.” American-Muslim leaders, attending the summit, cheered and applauded, later taking selfies in front of the president’s seal. But, as liberal Muslim feminist journalists who reject the vision of the Islamic State, we can say that the Islamic State, al Qaeda and the alphabet soup of Islamic militant groups, like HUM (Harkut-ul Mujahideen) and LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba), rely very much on the scholarship of “religious leaders,” from Ibn Tamiyyah in the 14th century to Sayyid Qutb in the 20th century, who very much have credibility and authority among too many Muslims as “religious leaders.”
A very nuanced and thorough Atlantic article by journalist Graeme Wood this week, arguing “The Islamic State is Islamic. Very Islamic,” set off a firestorm of “derision,” as labeled by an article at ThinkProgress, a media site affiliated with the Center for American Progress, a think tank started by former Democratic operative John Podesta. ThinkProgress religion reporter Jack Jenkins wrote that the Atlantic article elicited “staunch criticism and derision from many Muslims and academics who study Islam.”Wood argues the Islamic State views itself as “a key agent of the coming Apocalypse.” He is absolutely right, and we have been seeing the symbols for months. After spending about 200 hours combined over the last few weeks, analyzing every word and symbol in the burning video of the Jordanian Air Force pilot and the execution video of the Coptic Christians, we can tell you that both videos reveal Islamic State strategists, propagandists and recruiters are very much grounded in a logical interpretation of the Quran, the hadith, or sayings and traditions of the prophet Muhammad, and fatwa, or religious rulings. They are also hell-bent on one mission: Chasing the apocalypse, according to Islamic eschatology—the study of the end of the world.
Among Muslims, stuck in face-saving, shame-based cultures, we need to own up to our extremist theology instead of always reverting to a strategy of denial, deflection, and demonization. /b]
While Rome burns in the war plans of the Islamic State and other militants, it is important to identify the enemy clearly. As sixth-century Chinese military strategy Sun Tzu said, “Know your enemy.” This is particularly important in the kind of asymmetrical war America has been fighting for 14 years since the 9/11 attacks. We know “America is not at war with Islam.” We settled that in the days after 9/11. But we are at war with an ideology and theology of Islam.
At the summit on “countering violent extremism,” Obama said that it would hand America’s enemy a propaganda victory if we called out the Islamic theology that is the underpinning of their violence, but the enemy will despise us no matter how politically correct we try to be. And by returning always to “historical grievances” and “root causes,” from the Crusades to colonialism, we only feed a culture of “wound collectors,” as former FBI agent Joe Navarro calls terrorists. As Obama argues it, the murders of the Coptic Christian—or “Egyptian citizens,” as the White House spokesman first put it—following the immolation of Jordanian Air Force pilot Lt. Muadh al Kasasbeh and the beheadings of Japanese hostages, journalists and others reveal a “brutal, vicious death cult.”

But we, as Muslims, recognize every word in the Islamic State’s theology from teachings, ideas and interpretations we’ve heard through our approximately 50 years on this earth, from the living room chatter of “couch jihadis,” as one FBI agent describes “wound collectors,” to sermons, Facebook posts and Twitter messages.. The media company name that produced the video flashes “Al-Hayat Media Center,” on screen, invoking an oft-repeated Quranic principle of hay at, or “life.” The Jordanian pilot burn video carried the brand “Al Furqan” media company. Furqan, a Quranic chapter title, represents “the standard” between good and “evil.”In English, a title appears above a beach scene: “A Message Signed in Blood to the Nation of the Cross.” The phrase used is actually Ummat El-Saleeb, which actually means “Community of the Cross,” though ummat can be used as “nation.” In the burn video, the West and its Muslim allies are called “the crusader coalition”—the language of a doomsday showdown. n English, the Islamic State lambasts, “The people of the cross, the followers of the hostile Egyptian Church.” But in Arabic, the Islamic State refers to Christians as ra’aya, which means “subjects,” not “people,” of “the cross,” or al-saleeb. The Arabic word used to describe “the Egyptian Church” is al-mohariba, which means “militant,” not “hostile.” So, the actual translation is: “Subjects of the cross, from the followers of the militant Egyptian church.”
At 18 seconds, the Islamic State fighters bring the captives onto the beach, and the fighters flash a signal of orthopraxy, or external ritual. The fighters’ pant hems are high, or “high-water,” as it’s said in American slang. Again, these are signs any Muslim would recognize, from a supposed hadith of the prophet Muhammad: “Lift up your lower garment to the middle of your shank, and if you don’t wish to, then to the ankles. Beware the trailing of the lower garment, for it is arrogance, and Allah does not like arrogance.” The “shank” is around the calf, making the fighters, in our eyes, “high-water jihadis.”Two minutes into the video, the chief fighter says, “Oh, you people, you’ve seen us on the hills of Al-Sham and Dabiq’s plain.” Al-Sham is a reference to Syria, and it is the second “S” in the name “ISIS.”In Islamic prophetic text, Sham is where the Muslim messiah, the “Mahdi,” will appear. Eschatologists in Islam argue the murder of Egyptian leader Anwar Sadat by a dissident Egyptian in 1981, plus a string of killed rulers from Lebanon, Syria and Jordan, realizes a prediction that “the inhabitants of Egypt and Sham will kill their ruler and his commands.” Sham, to Muslim eschatologists, is not only the word for Damascus but also the word for “left” and is a way to describe countries to the left of the Hijaz, the region in modern-day Saudi Arabia that includes Mecca and Medina.A hadith, or saying of the prophet Muhammad, is translated as: “The Last Hour (of history) would not come until the Romans land at (either) al-A’maq or in Dabiq. An army consisting of the best (soldiers) of the people (the Muslims) of the earth at that time will come from Medina (to counteract them).” Dabiq and al-A’maq are towns in Syria along the Turkish border. Dabiq is about an hour’s drive north of Aleppo. According to another hadith attributed to the prophet Muhammad, this area will witness a war in which Muslims will defeat the Romans, conquer Constantinople (now Istanbul) and usher the return of Jesus, thus triggering the apocalypse. As the Islamic State fighters pushed the captors to their knees, one of the captors’ lips moving in silent speech, another looking furtively around, the video reads, in Arabic: “Until this war ends and Issa, may the blessings and the peace of Allah be upon him, descends….”Islamic eschatology, based on hadith, says Jesus will descend to Earth and meet the Mahdi in the grand mosque of Damascus, after the Mahdi arrives from Khorosan in modern-day eastern Iran and northern Afghanistan, with an army waving black banners, a black flag of the Islamic state with the shahada, or Islmic proclamation of faith, flapping in a corner of the Jordanian pilot immolation video. There, according to Islamic eschatology, the Mahdi will ask Jesus to lead the prayer, but Jesus will say, “No,” and pray behind the Mahdi.
Another hadith says: “At this very time Allah would send Christ, son of Mary, and he will descend at the white minaret in the eastern side of Damascus wearing two garments lightly dyed with saffron and placing his hands on the wings of two Angels. When he would lower his head, there would fall beads of perspiration from his head, and when he would raise it up, beads like pearls would scatter from it.”These Muslim end-timers’ beliefs aren’t much unlike those of the Christian mullahs of apocalyptic prophecy, including groups that call themselves “Christian Zionists,” but the Islamic State doomsday believers are, literally, killing in the name of their prophecies. Pointing his knife at the screen, holding it in his left hand, an oddity for a culture that still scolds children to use their right hand, the main Islamic State fighter says, “To break the cross, kill the swine and impose the jizya,” the “tribute.”The hadith for this prediction, goes like this: “The Prophet said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus. He will descent [sic] (to the earth)… He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizya. Allah will perish all religions except Islam.
AThe song continues, “If apostasy became widespread,” a sign of the impending apocalypse, according to a hadith, “and incandescent, we will fill the valleys with red blood,” as the screen shows the sea filled with red.We made the conscious decision to study the propaganda videos of the Islamic State because we feel there is just too much silence among Muslims against the logic of the Islamic State and like-minded militants. One of us, Hala, shook in her home in Fairfax Station, Va., after she translated the murder video of the Coptic Christians. The other, Asra, retreated into a corner of her family’s home in Morgantown, W.Va., to take screenshots of the video behind a locked bedroom door.Moderates must unite, to see that “revenge” isn’t our answer and that end-time eschatology doesn’t become something very dangerous: a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Video of IS destroying the Assyrian murti's:

Leftist "historians" in future will write that IS wasn't motivated by Islam but angry that statues received care @ expense of poor. Thus Baghdadi & company will become warriors for social justice in the "history" books of future Romila Thapar's.

I looked up this Asim Qureshi bloke and his organization, CAGE. At first, after watching the video, I thought it might be a perfectly normal org. to help muslim youth, but then I found that its director is Moazzam Begg, who was in Guantanamo Bay for a while. Then I looked into their agenda more and guess what? They try and call a rogue's gallery of villains as "innocent people" (notice how he describes Emwazi as a "beautiful young man") Among the people they are clamoring for release are Abu Hamza, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Babar Ahmed, Syed Talha Ahsan and Aafia Siddiqui! Wonder if the Pakistani government is providing the funding for this group or what?

These chaps are hardcore jihadis masquerading as a human rights organization. There is footage of Qureshi himself speaking at a Hizb ut-Tahrir rally and CAGE has invited Anwar al-Alwaki as guest speaker a few times.

On its part the Islamic Terrorist group, Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) is very explicit in stating that their act of criminal vandalism has been motivated by Mohammaddenism. Indeed ISIS goes to the very pinnacle of Mohhammaddenism and claims support for their actions from the founder of Mohammadden religion himself.

DNA reports that the commentary accompanying the video of the destruction of historical artifacts dating to the ancient Assyrian era located of the Ninevah Museum in Mosul put up by ISIS themselves says, "The Prophet ordered us to get rid of statues and relics, and his companions did the same when they conquered countries after him". Commentary to the video also says "Muslims, these relics you see behind me are idols that were worshiped other than God in the past centuries" besides saying "What is known as Assyrians, Akkadians and others used to worship gods of rain, farming and war other than God and pay all sorts of tributes to them."

Islamic State destroys priceless 2000-year-old relics in Iraq claiming orders from the Prophet

^^^ The Taliban did this in Bamyan. Now the ISIS. Taliban were brutal / barbaric then, now the ISIS. Just another day in the Jeehard factory. Just another name. Just another place.

Taliban did the 9/11; is the wait now for an ISIS equivalent of 9/11 on US soil before the 'invasion' of Iraq for a third time in three successive decades by the US.

And will they fail a third time too as the terrorist now evolves in to something even more deadlier every time? Is ISIS the GODzilla of terrorism or will there be another iteration?
