Yes, the changes in the UAE are absolutely far reaching and impressively bold by the standards of Gulf states. This is as clear a sign as any that there is a strong big picture alignment between the US and the Gulf states on the way forward. There is a central role for India in this situation, that is also clear. It is incredible how fast India's relations with the Gulf states have changed in recent years.

Another scam started by peacefool kids in forrin to get college seat in Hahvad, Stenfud, Oxfud, Kembrij who love these activist types who will piss on free societies while turning a blind eye on Islamic nations.

Hinsdale Central student advocates for civil rights in India

Seventeen-year-old Aminah Ahmed, a first-generation Indian-American who lives with her family in Oak Brook, has become an activist against racism and discrimination, specifically in her parents' native country.

“I want to educate the American public about what is happening to minorities in India,” Ahmed said. “Muslims and Christians face persecution. There are mob lynchings and they’re building detention centers.”

Ahmed, a junior at Hinsdale Central High School, has become more vocal since India passed the Citizenship Amendment Act in December, which says Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi, Christian and Jain immigrants subject to religious persecution in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, can become Indian citizens. The amendment does not offer similar protection to Muslims emigrating from those countries.

Prime minister Narendra Modi says that because Muslims form the majority in those countries and, therefore, are not at risk of persecution there.

But Ahmed and others who oppose Modi’s policies believe it will be used to target Muslims and strip them their rights in India. “They want to establish Muslims as second-class citizens,” Ahmed said.
:((
She warns democracy in India is at stake. Modi is trying to turn India into a Hindu Nationalist state, said Ahmed, who is the youth leader of the Indian American Muslim Council.
“Our biggest concern is educating people on what direction our country is headed,” Ahmed said. Their goal is to put international pressure on Indian leaders to stop their discriminatory practices.
“This is a fight for the future of India,” :) Ahmed said.

Amazing how much they project their own behavior pattern on infidels. The only place in India where a religious minority was made second-class citizens was in Kashmir. Yet they blame Hindus for aspiring to do what they themselves have been doing to Hindus wherever they get majority. Such blatant dishonesty and word play! We need to keep telling them the truth and puncturing their propaganda balloon.

Also, notice the white Christian reporter reporting faithfully and avoiding asking any uncomfortable questions. Both Christians and Muslims play this game of "Heathens are bigots and intolerant" while in the next breath, coolly condemning heathens to hell for not worshipping the True God.

Macron seems to be reading BR :)

Macron outlines new law to prevent 'Islamist separatism' in France

Local officials will get extra powers to fight radicalism and social problems will be tackled

Comment's in red are mine

Emmanuel Macron has announced a law against religious “separatism” aimed at freeing Islam in France from “foreign influences”. In a long-awaited declaration, the French president outlined new measures to “defend the republic and its values and ensure it respects its promises of equality and emancipation”.

The measures to combat “radical Islamism” and terrorism suggested a carrot-and-stick approach: local officials will be given extra legal powers to combat extremism while money will be invested in education – particularly of Islamic culture and civilisation – and to deal with other social problems including housing and poverty. “Our challenge is to fight against those who go off the rails in the name of religion … while protecting those who believe in Islam and are full citizens of the republic,” Macron said. His speech on Friday was a broad outline of the measures to come, which he said would be drawn up in the next two weeks for a law to be presented in December.

The measures include placing mosques under greater control and requiring that imams are trained and certified in France. The aim would be to “liberate French Islam from foreign influences”, he said, particularly funding. Islamic organisations that receive funding from the French state will have to sign a “secular charter”. Associations found to be pushing ideas contrary to republican ideals could be ordered to disband, and €10m (just over £9m) of public funds would be used to finance higher education studies and research into Islamic culture and civilisation.

IMO the bolded part is the most important : All foreign imams who are essentially Muslim Brotherhood's placements will be expelled. State reserves and reaffirms right to observe and oversee whats being said and done in mosques and other islamic watering holes. Not leave islamic research and discourse solely to Islamists but French ministries will get involved in it.

“The country has been hit by Islamic terrorism since 2012 and we have progressively rearmed against this threat,” he said. Radical Islamism had shown a “willingness to contravene the laws of the republic, to promote other values … to organise another society”. He termed this “Islamist separatism”.

Macron calls it out for what it is. I hope other EU countries are listening and will follow suit.

However, he recognised that France’s colonial past had helped to create the problems the country faced. “We have created our own separatism in some of our areas. We have concentrated populations of the same origins, the same religion.” This had created “economic and educational difficulties”. Macron announced extra funding for the country’s education and justice ministries to “assure a republican presence in every road, every building”.

The Republic reaffirms its mandate to go anywhere, everywhere on its territory. No more turning blind eye to off limit ghetto zones where the state is not welcome - at least in principle.

He said education was key to the measures and that from September next year children would be required to attend school from the age of three. Home schooling is to be limited. Macron would be drawing up new measures in the coming weeks to address other social problems including housing, because a “profound change” was needed, he said. “We cannot keep adding poverty to poverty.”

• This article was amended on 5 November 2020 so that a headline reflected Emmanuel Macron’s reference to “Islamist separatism”, rather than Islamic separatism.

A noob pooch:
Can or are the Western governments actively/covertly monitor what is delivered by the Imams during the Friday Sermons!!
If so can such be followed/allowed in India.
Will the peacefuls (if it is monitored covertly) raise seriously objections claiming persecution!!
Does the law allow for such monitoring either in India or in the West!

I think General Directorate for Internal Security (DGSI; Direction générale de la sécurité intérieure) – Domestic counter-terrorism and counter-espionage intelligence would be charge, they maintain a database of individuals posing various levels of Islamist threat, and in general their internal espionage is quite effective. They have enough people who know arabic who can infiltrate and monitor places of congregation silently. There could also be other entities that are outside public knowledge. The French Govt doesn't care about noises that don't want monitoring.

Rana Ayub is being disingenuous with the imbecilic Washington Post studiously not asking the pertinent questions.

She neglects to be honest in the lack of freedom of religion in Muslim non-Muslim marriages. It is that the non Muslim woman converts to Islam. Never a Muslim woman or man converting. One can estimate how intelligent this Muslim mohtarrma thinks the white person really is.

This is nothing new. Many years ago, before 9/11, an innocent and sweet young white woman was entrapped by an Arab. She converted. He got to sniff white flesh and got canadian citizenship. This is only one example of love jihad that I have personally noted. It is unfortunate that UP has had to enact a law but I can understand their fears.

under the guise of love jehad, UP has quietly enacted a comprehensive anti conversion law and that has sailed through virtually under the radar.

the details have been lost in the media's self created web of deceitful propaganda and their leftshyte frenetic whining about the so called "love jehad" law when in fact, the actual legislation does not even mention the words love and/or jehad or even muslims. It comprehensively covers both the rolers and the ropers without mentioning either.

the ropers are upset because it targets them squarely and deprives a lot of depraved jehadis of their prey.

European Court of Justice allows the EU states to ban religious slaughterings like Halal and Kosher
https://www.opindia.com/2020/12/europea ... ghterings/
...
Both Muslim halal and Jewish kosher slaughtering requires the animal to be conscious when its throat is slit. The case revolved around animal welfare versus the right to religious freedom, guaranteed in the EU Charter on Fundamental Rights.

This decision which Muslims and Jewish believe is against their traditions, which require livestock to be conscious when their throats are slit, has irked people of both the communities, which have called the judgement discriminatory. An umbrella organisation for Jewish groups in Belgium slammed the decision as a ‘denial of democracy’ that did not respect the rights of minority groups.

“The fight continues, and we will not admit defeat until we have exhausted all our legal remedies, which is not yet the case,” Yohan Benizri, head of the Belgian Federation of Jewish Organisations, said.

Meanwhile, Rabbi Menachem Margolin, chairman of the European Jewish Association, said that the court ruling represented a “sad day for European Jewry”. “What a terrible message to send to European Jewry, that you and your practices are not welcome here. This is a basic denial of our rights as European citizens,” he said in a statement.

The Muslim community in Belgium was also unhappy with the ruling, which they believed insulted their traditions. The Belgian Coordination Committee of Islamic Institutions said the decision had been a “big disappointment” and argued that the court was pandering to populist sentiments.

“The Court of Justice seems to have given in to the growing political and societal pressure from populist movements which are waging a symbolic struggle against vulnerable minorities throughout Europe,” the group said in a statement.

It looks like European countries are slowly waking up to creeping Islamization and pushing back and working to outlaw regressive Islamic practices without caring about hyooomun raaeets grooops.
When will India wake up and do the same? We have seen some like TTT but a lot more needs to be done. Let's start with outlawing the AoA blaring from masjid-tops every 5am.

A long time ago, I went to Bangalore to take the IITJEE exam. I stayed with a peacefool friend of mine at his uncle's house. Not sure what area of BLR. The masjid was close by. I would almost jump out of the bed every morning at 5am when the AoA started, it would sound like a bunch of bulls screaming at the top of their lungs in unison. It's a scary experience at first. Annoying to everyone else.

Pakistani Court Sentences 3 Men to Death for Blasphemous Online Content
https://www.voanews.com/south-central-a ... ne-content
ISLAMABAD - An anti-terrorism court in Pakistan has sentenced to death three men for disseminating anti-Islam content and videos over social media.

The single-judge tribunal in Islamabad found the suspects guilty of “inciting hatred and contempt on religious, sectarian or ethnic basis to stir up violence,” according to a copy of Friday’s ruling.

A fourth defendant accused in the same case, a college professor in the Pakistani capital, was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment on charges he used derogatory remarks against the Prophet Muhammad in one of his lectures that was later uploaded online.

Connecticut investigating prison guard's anti-Muslim Facebook posts
https://www.theday.com/statenortheast-n ... book-posts
By PAT EATON-ROBB, Associated Press

Connecticut's Correction Department and Attorney General's Office launched investigations Monday into the anti-Muslim social media posts of a state prison guard.
....
“It was ISIS — dead ISIS hangin' from nooses, OK?" he said, according to a transcript obtained by CAIR through a Freedom of Information request. “In the military, any red-blooded American, like I've told a bunch of people, we just — we don't like ISIS. They do bad things to our people and I'm anti-ISIS. Not anti-Muslim. And I found it humorous because I have — that's my personality.”
...
The Correction Department, in a statement Monday, said its Security Division and Legal Affairs units were reviewing the information provided by CAIR to determine appropriate action. It said the department does not tolerate or condone discrimination.

The attorney general's office said it had assigned two senior staff members to also investigate the complaint.

State Sen. Saud Anwar, a South Windsor Democrat who is Muslim and a member of the legislature's Judiciary Committee, said he discussed the issue Monday with acting Correction Department Commissioner Angel Quiros. He said Marlak was making all the good and decent employees of the department look bad.

Blackpink’s Ice Cream without the sexual overtones? Malaysian bands release Islamic-friendly K-pop covers less likely to upset Muslims
https://www.scmp.com/lifestyle/entertai ... -malaysian
In recent years K-pop has exploded in popularity around the world, but in Muslim-majority Malaysia, where the music has a large fan base, the naughtiest chart-topping hits – full of double entendres and sexy dance moves – have raised Islamic eyebrows.

Such songs have been branded “mind-corrupting”, or budaya kuning – literally “yellow culture” – a catch-all term for most forms of Western culture, including foreign pop and rock music.

Malaysia’s younger generation is obsessed with K-pop. But those who see negative values in the songs and want to switch to more positive K-pop music have few options, says Usamah Kamaruzaman, a sound engineer and spokesman for Kuala Lumpur-based Islamic pop label Tarbiah Sentap Records.

CAIR Warns Florida Muslims to Avoid Protests Ahead of Inauguration So As Not To Become Targets of Violence
https://www.wmfe.org/cair-warns-florida ... nce/171960
CAIR Florida Government Affairs Coordinator Norma Henning said there have been no direct threats made against Muslims in the Sunshine State.

But Henning said any member of a marginalized community could become a target for violence at protests ahead of Joe Biden’s inauguration.

“And I think also law enforcement would agree, the fewer people that show up and also give credence to these kinds of demonstrations the better. I haven’t seen any counter demonstrations in DC and I think that’s wise. Because law enforcement’s going to have enough trouble dealing with these white supremacist, extremists.”

Henning says in general, a Biden-Harris administration has been welcomed by the Muslim community.

“So yes of course, the Biden election and the results have been welcomed in the community that wants to be treated equally and with dignity and respect. So that’s the hope going forward.”

CAIR Executive Shibly Beats Wife, Resigns, and Could Get Disbarred
https://floridianpress.com/2021/01/cair ... disbarred/
Former Executive Director of the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Florida, Hassan Shibly (pictured) has literally taken what the Qur’an says about beating your wife and applied it to his own family.

Verse 4:34 in the Qu’ran allows for Muslim men to “strike” their wives, and that is exactly what Hassan Shibly did to his wife Imane Sadrati, who has accused him in a fundraising video of beating her in front of her children, causing her living situation with Shibly as “unbearable.”

“My children and I are in desperate need of your help,” stated Sadrati. “For years I’ve been in an abusive relationship, and the situation at home has become unbearable. I’ve finally decided to build the courage to start over.”

This is the same Syria-born Shibly that hosted Rep. Ilhan Omar at a CAIR fundraiser in California, where he infamously stated, “some people did something” about the 9/11 Islamic terrorist attacks against the U.S.
....
His wife said the abuse has been ongoing for years in front of their three children,” added Loomer. “This type of toxic masculinity is unacceptable in society, and within the Florida Bar. I will be filing a complaint with the Florida Bar against Hassan Shibly, encouraging his disbarment.

Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband’s] absence what Allah would have them, guard.

But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance – [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.-Qu’ran (4:34)

https://m.startribune.com/minneapolis-m ... lmob=y&c=n
The Masjid Salaam Cultural Center in northeast Minneapolis hosts daily prayers, Sunday school and the occasional food drive. But members say the mosque has one major flaw — it has no designated parking.

That means people coming to the mosque, including the elderly and disabled and the 170 children who attended school there before the pandemic, have to park several blocks away or get out of vehicles on the side of busy Central Avenue.

The mosque has tried for years to persuade the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board to build parking stalls by paving over green space along St. Anthony Parkway. The conflict pits assertions of religious liberty against the sanctity of public parkland, and it's coming to a head after the Council on American-Islamic Relations Minnesota (CAIR-Minnesota) gave the Park Board a deadline this month to avoid a lawsuit.
....
When Masjid Salaam opened at 3141 NE. Central Av. in 2016, Imam Abdimagid Omar believed he could persuade the Park Board to sell the mosque a slice of adjacent parkland. Omar isn't fluent in English, so he appointed congregant Abdi Barkat as his spokesman. Barkat works near Masjid Salaam and has been praying there during his lunch hour for about two years.

He said no one has harassed him in the vicinity of the mosque, but he would feel safer being able to park closer. "When you are an immigrant, when you're Black, when you're Muslim, when you come into a neighborhood where you don't live just to pray, anything can happen," Barkat says.

Buying city parkland is almost impossible, however. The Park Board is required to hold its land in public trust, says general counsel Brian Rice. "The presumption is that this board does not sell land."

The Park Board can sell land if commissioners decide it's obsolete and unusable for any park purpose. Even then, a district judge would have to approve the sale.

But the land is already spoken for in the 2006 St. Anthony Parkway Regional Park Master Plan, which specifically calls for landscaping, public art and seating there.

The mosque could petition the Park Board to change the master plan, which would require a majority vote. But the commissioner for the area, Chris Meyer, is against it, and has been lobbying to get rid of parking lots since before he was elected to the Park Board.

On Wednesday, Sameera Fazili, the Deputy Director of National Economic Council in the Biden administration, made her appearance at a White House press briefing. Fazili, an Indian-American, participated in the White House Press Briefing wearing a ‘Hijab’, evoking a mixed response on social platforms.

Sameera, who originally hails from Kashmir, shared the press briefing with White House spokesperson Jane Saki and addressed various issues on the Biden administration’s move to secure critical US supply chains and create jobs in the country. The images and videos of Sameera wearing the ‘Hijab’ at the press conference have now gone viral.

The left-liberals and Muslim social media users hailed the Biden administration for celebrating diversity and appointing Muslim woman in his administration. They also hailed Sameera Fazili for addressing the press conference with her ‘Hijab’.

Alvi urges France to avoid discriminatory laws against Muslims

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi on Saturday urged the political leadership of France not to entrench the discriminatory attitudes against Muslim into laws and warned that such steps would lead to serious repercussions in the shape of hatred and conflict.

“You [France] need to bring people together and not to stamp a religion in a certain manner to create disharmony and bias,” he said at an international conference on religious freedom and minorities rights.

I am glad Muslims hold France and India to a higher standard than themselves.

'Anti-Palestinian' Lesson Plan Highlights Biased School Curriculum in Texas: Rights Group
https://www.dallasobserver.com/news/ant ... p-11989301
Someone should tell the people writing Texas school curricula that it's possible, even easy, to find images of Palestinians who aren't masked and holding assault rifles.
What’s in a simple quiz question? If you’re a Palestinian student in Texas, the answer may be a good reason to take offense.

Published by Jarrett Publishing Co., part of a Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) lesson used by schools statewide includes a quiz question that raises eyebrows: “Which is an important cause of terrorism in the Middle East?”

The correct answer? “Many Palestinians believe terrorism is justified against Israeli occupation.”

The education material recently sparked controversy after the local chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-DFW) put out a press release calling on Allen ISD to ditch the curriculum for unfairly characterizing Palestinians.
Syed said biased educational material is common in Texas. "When it comes to Islam, Muslims and minorities, there's a lot of curriculum like this," he said. "Every few months we get another one of these curriculum updates from one of these schools, and of course, we have to be the ones to bring it to the school's attention.

"It really isolates Muslim students and makes them feel they're targeted."

The way Syed sees it, the coursework is part of a much bigger epidemic: Muslim students in the Dallas area face widespread discrimination and bullying.

Islamists in Pakistan try to lynch a man alleging blasphemy, man says he had only questioned maulana for not solving problem after taking money
https://www.opindia.com/2021/03/islamis ... ing-quran/
According to the South Asia Media Research Institute (SAMRI), the Islamist mob thronged near a garments factory in Karachi and dragged a man to lynch him for allegedly desecrating the copy of the Quran. However, the man has denied the charges, and said that he had questioned maulanas for taking money promising to solve problems, but not doing anything after that.
the entire incident occurred in the presence of Police officers and Rangers, who were heavily outnumbered against the unruly mob. The police force failed to protect the victim.
The man said that despite paying the maulana, the problem remains and his wife has not called him for seven months. Hearing this, his friend said that he knows a different maulana who can help him. Then the man told him all maulanas take the money and say after a few weeks that forget the girl. So I will pay him even twice the amount, but only after the work is done, he told his friend. His these comments made the mob try to lynch him, he said, and denied making derogatory comments about the Quran.

‘Muslims Taking Over America’ Facebook Post Gets Florida Deputy Suspended
https://miami.cbslocal.com/2021/03/02/f ... s-comment/
In a February 2020 post on his personal Facebook page, Johnson wrote that “Muslims are taking over America,” calling them the “most intolerant people when it comes to other religions,” the report said.

“WAKE Up America, … the Democrats only care about a vote, but with this radicalized people take (sic) over the United States you will know why because we stood there and did nothing to stop this!!! Donald J Trump for president for another 4 years!!” Johnson wrote in the post.
The sheriff said Johnson, a 20-year veteran, was also placed on three months of disciplinary probation prohibiting him from certain perks such as working off-duty or taking home his patrol vehicle.
Murphy said he would still like to see the agency accept his group’s invitation to provide their Islam 101 training to deputies, as they’ve done for other law enforcement agencies in Florida, But he was happy to see that Johnson got more than just a reprimand.
