It seems likely that ukbapzis will be forced to steal russian gas meant for Europe again. And then EU will have to pay Ukraine to get its gas. Serves them right. :)

Apparently all is not cold in Ukraine:
From UN speech by mohterma Nikki:
"The sudden increase in fighting in eastern Ukraine has trapped thousands of civilians and destroyed vital infrastructure and the crisis is spreading, endangering many thousands more," Haley added. "This escalation of violence must stop."

Escalation meant to derail the atmosphere of the impending Trump-Putin summit by the UKR stoking the fires again at the behest of NATO and vested interests within the US establishment. The UKR is running scared that trump will lift sanctions imposed on Rusia and turn a Nelsonian eye to the Crimes returning to its motherland.

Russia sanctions lifted; Trump plots war with Iran, with Russia joining in
Serious, disturbing, frightening developments today:

1. The Trump administration lifted sanctions against Russia that had prevented US companies from exporting high-tech gear to Russia. Essentially it is now legal for US companies to sell spy gear to the Russian spy agency.

This is the same Russian spy agency (the FSB) that has been accused of hacking the US presidential election.

2. The Trump administration is on the verge of unilaterally imposing sanctions on Iran, which would violate the recent Iranian nuclear arms deal. This move would essentially trash the Iran deal and give the Iranians a green light to re-start their nuclear weapons program.

3. Recent rogue tweets from the White House indicate that this is part of a deliberate plan by Trump & Bannon to foment war with Iran. Apparently Trump thinks the Russians would be happy to join such a war.

MOSCOW, Feb. 2 - RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree removed from office 16 generals MOE, the Ministry of Interior and the Investigative Committee - a corresponding document was published on the official web-portal of legal information .

Sanctions against Russia will remain as they are till EU countries lift them first. US has miniscule trade with Russia.
The sanctions on cooperation between spy agencies has been lifted to enable cooperation between agencies against islamic terrorism.

Ukbapzis need money. The Ukraine economy is completely broke. Putin said as much on his Hungary visit.
They might have initiated the Avdeevka flare up to gather sympathy, support and money from west.

I would love to see some more Ilovaisk, debaltseve like development with the azov battalions getting blasted near Donetsk.

Not sure if that's how it works. Usually the companies that violate sanction terms get sanctioned too, and those European companies certainly do a lot of business in the U.S.

^^ Trump will not tbe the first to lift sanctions. Thats what I meant. And if European companies lose money and market, what is that to Amreeka?

On second thoughts, it is not even needed. If Trump remains true to his word (America first) and stops funding Ukbapzis, that will lead to Poroshenko getting hung upside down in Kiev.

Oliver Stone Urges Trump to Declassify Documents on Origins of Ukraine Crisis

Academy Award-winning film director Oliver Stone says that US President Donald Trump should make public any secret documents he has in his possession on the origins of the conflict in Ukraine.

In an interview with Russia's Channel One which aired Sunday on the news and analysis program Sunday Vremya, Stone said that unfortunately, most Americans do not know the origins to the crisis in Ukraine.

"If I were President Trump, I would declassify all this information on Ukraine, as well as Syria, but above all Ukraine, because it's the focal point of where this [new] Cold War has come about," Stone said.

Of all the people on earth, the Ukraineans should remember what happened the last time they employed such hyper-Chankian strategery. I guess they don't teach history or literature any more in Ukraine either, or they would have remembered at least the Polish-Ukrainean curses about the Ottomans & their Crimean-Nogai allies. A foul Polish-Ukrainean curse translates roughly as `May you be a slave in Tartary'. Of course, there is this Ukrainean folk song

The fires are burning behind the river
The Tatars are dividing their captives.
Our village is burnt
And our property plundered.
Old mother is sabred
And my dear is taken into captivity.

Reasons:
- They are wooed the traditional way
- They see in them stable, responsible husband material - unlike promiscuous or non-commital men in their own country
- Muslim suitors are free of vices like alcohol (a big problem in Russia/Ukraine) or drugs
- ...but Muslim men have the same machismo and "protective"/"possessive" instinct common among Russian men, so it feels familiar and breeds respect
- Muslim men want to have children and are prepared to work for it
- They see in their religious devotion another sign of the ability for commitment
- These suitors are part of a warm social circle with plenty of mutual help
- They see in Islam some structure for life itself

A leading think tank in Brussels prepared an analytical report concerning the situation in Ukraine and advised the EU Council to stop assistance to the country if the situation does not improve drastically.

The Center for European Policy Studies (CEPS) evaluated the position of the Ukrainian economy over last three years after the so-called revolution in Maidan, and has published a grim description of the situation in the country.

The Center wrote: “Nearly three years since the euromaidan revolution, the Ukrainian government, to our deep regret, has failed to fulfill its promises about fighting against corruption in the justice system, restoring order in the financing of political parties, and decentralizing the government. Customs reforms have not been finalized, property rights are completely disrespected, and state-owned enterprises have not been privatized. Major reforms to combat corruption constantly meet resistance and delays; the reforms are carried out only on paper. The elite of the country should show more tangible results to win the trust of citizens and alleviate the growing frustration of international partners of Ukraine“.

Putin ups the ante in the UKR!
Demos in KIev between govt. and ultra-fascist forces show splits in the UKR ruling factions. Putin quietly gives in effect,de-facto recognition to the Eastern pro-Russian UKR region, and in the future, like the Crimea, may award recognition to it or integrate it into Russia.

President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian authorities on Saturday to temporarily recognise civil registration documents issued in separatist-held areas of eastern Ukraine, a decision strongly criticized by Ukraine's president.

The decision will enable people from the conflict-hit region to travel, work or study in Russia.

According to Putin's order, published on the Kremlin website, Russia will temporarily recognize identity documents, diplomas, birth and marriage certificates and vehicle registration plates issued in the eastern Ukraine regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.

The legislation will be in place until a "political settlement of the situation" in these regions based on the Minsk peace accords, the Kremlin said.

Ukrainian authorities sharply criticized Putin's decision, saying Russia had violated the Minsk peace process.

"For me, this is another proof of Russian occupation as well as Russian violation of international law," Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko told reporters in Munich, Germany.

"This step completely negates the Minsk process," said Oleksander Turchynov, secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council, which is headed by Poroshenko.

Fighting has recently escalated in the conflict between the Ukrainian government and Russian-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine, refocusing global attention on a simmering conflict that has strained relations between Russia and the West.

Watch | Ceasefire in Ukraine comes to a violent end

The February 2015 Minsk peace agreement only locked the two sides into a stalemate that has been broken periodically by sharp resurgences of fighting that Kiev and the Kremlin accuse each other of instigating.

The foreign ministers of Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine met on Saturday in Munich and agreed to use their influence to implement a ceasefire and the withdrawal of heavy weapons from Monday in eastern Ukraine.

Pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine said on Monday they would take control of Ukraine-run businesses in rebel-held areas if the Ukrainian government does not end a rail blockade that has halted coal supplies.
In a joint statement, leaders of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DNR and LNR) said the blockade had caused many businesses to suffer in rebel-held areas and that it went against the spirit of the 2015 Minsk peace agreement.
"We are forced to announce that if by midnight on Wednesday the blockade is not taken down, we will introduce a system of external management on all companies registered in Ukraine's jurisdiction that operate in the DNR and LNR," leaders Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky said.

Ukranian businessman with links to Donald Trump and Russia dies in unexplained circumstances
Alex Oronov, who had family ties to President's lawyer, reportedly organised meeting aimed at helping give Russian President control of Crimea

A Ukranian-born millionaire businessman with links to Donald Trump has reportedly died in unexplained circumstances.

Alex Oronov, a 69-year-old naturalised American citizen who ran an agricultural business in his native Ukraine, died on 2 March, according to a Facebook post by Ukranian politician Andrii Artemenko.

Mr Oronov is reported to have set up a secret meeting between Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen – to whom he had family ties - and Russian officials where a “peace plan” is said to have been hatched to give Russian President Vladimir Putin control of the Crimea.

Mr Cohen is understood to have an extensive network of personal and business relationships in the Ukranian-American community – and his associates included Mr Oronov, a partner in the ethanol business the lawyer’s brother, Bryan, set up in Ukraine.

The “peace plan” meeting brought together Mr Artemenko, Mr Cohen and Felix Sater, an American-Russian long-time business associate of Mr Trump who is reported to have ties to the Russian mafia.

Details of this meeting are believed to have ended up on the desk of Michael Flynn, Mr Trump’s former security adviser who was forced to resign last month over his alleged secret dealings with Russian officials.

The New York Times – which Mr Trump has repeatedly accused of producing “fake news” - reported the meeting between Mr Artemenko, Mr Cohen and Mr Slater.

Russian ambassador to UN dies suddenly in New York
In his lengthy Facebook post, Mr Artemenko describes himself as a pawn in a diplomatic game and said the stress created by the article and the negative attention that followed the article was too much for Mr Oronov.

The post, written in Russian, translates loosely: “Yes, I’m guilty... Alex Oronov, my partner, my friend, my mentor, Alex was a family member of Michael Cohen. And he organised all kinds of stuff, including an introduction and a meeting for me with Michael Cohen.”

It adds: “Unfortunately, his heart could not endure it. He died... Friend, your death will not have been in vain, nor will the deaths of tens of thousands of Ukranians and Russians, Alex Oronov, during this wild, undeclared war! Rest in peace and forgive me if you can, as difficult as that may be!”

The Ukrainian MP points the finger of blame at “overexertion, the nerves, from injustice, from suspicion, from sorrow of misunderstanding”.

The remembrance website legacy.com has a listing for Alex Oronov of New York, with dates that match those of the businessman.

One friend and business associate has so far left a tribute on the site, which reads: “Alex had a huge heart and he did a lot for those who were part of his family and part of his company.”

Conspiracy theorists have pointed to a number of recent deaths of Russian diplomats in the past four months.

Russian diplomats keep dying unexpectedly
Russia’s permanent ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, died last month in New York after suddenly becoming ill on his way to work the day before his 65th birthday.
It was initially reported he had suffered a heart attack but an autopsy proved inconclusive.

The Russian Consul in Athens, Andrei Malanin, 55, was found dead on the floor of his apartment in Greece in January. Greek police said there was no evidence of a break-in and he was believed to have died of natural causes.

Russia’s Ambassador to India, Alexander Kadakin, 67, was reported to have died of heart failure in January after a “brief illness” according to Indian media.
