Essa Khan video shows a grenade in the hand of a slain porky at 4.49. Perhaps he was about to throw it when slaughtered. Nice to see afghan forces wrested control of one of the two districts from porkiban in north.

GB, AJK part of Pakistan: Dar

This is Head Line News In Paki-Land
Should not this 'Minister' ( and the National Assembly ) focusing their energy on the Karachi Heat Crisis ?

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar emphatically said in the National Assembly on Tuesday that Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) were part of Pakistan and not disputed territories.

The statement came when the minister referred to India’s objections to the planned China-Pakistan Economic Corridor on the ground that its route passed though “a disputed territory in Pakistan-controlled part of Jammu and Kashmir state”.

The Foreign Office has already rejected the Indian objection.

“What disputed territory,” Mr Dar angrily :x asked as he cited the expected economic benefits of the corridor as a “game-changer” in the region and said: “Gilgit-Baltistan is part of Pakistan. Azad Kashmir is part of Pakistan.”

Part of the 3,000km corridor, a mega project to link Pakistan’s Gwadar port with Kashgar in China’s north-western autonomous region of Xinjiang, will pass through the Gilgit-Baltistan region. China has pledged an investment of $46 billion for the project.

 Gilgit-Baltistan has always been described by Pakistani authorities as part of Pakistan, citing circumstances, which some consider equivalent to an accession, following the 1947 ouster by the local people of the territory’s governor, a representative of the then Maharaja of Kashmir. The region has a special status with a Pakistan-appointed governor and a chief minister elected by its legislative assembly.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir, which is overseen by Pakistan under UN resolutions on Kashmir, :?: has its own elected president and prime minister, both elected by the region’s legislative assembly.

Now, any Pakistani (internet traffic) can freely visit UK!!

http://www.dawn.com/news/1190080/uk-onl ... n-alarming
Britain’s Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) gained access to Pakistan’s Internet Exchange under its computer network exploitation (CNE) — or hacking — operations.

The revelations, made by journalists Glenn Greenwald and Andrew Fishman in a recent article for The Intercept, indicate that by using vulnerabilities in ‘Cisco routers’ and software reverse-engineering (SRE), the agency was able to access “almost any user of the Internet” inside Pakistan and also able “to re-route selective traffic across international links towards GCHQ’s passive collection systems.”

Power Crisis Explained -Electricity Was Supplied to Industry But Not To The General Public ; Company Officials Chargesheeted
LAHORE: Accusing the power distribution companies of acting in “connivance with the industry” by carrying out unprecedented loadshedding at the cost of the common man and “causing embarrassment to the government” on the first of Ramazan, the Pakistan Electric Power Company issued show-cause notices to the chief executives of the companies on Monday.
As usual, was a 'side' arrangement made between 'company officials' and 'company barons'- and now it has come to light
A letter sent to the chief executives reads: “It was decided that the industry would be kept completely off from 6.30pm to 4am to avoid loadshedding during Iftar, Taraveeh and Sehri. But it has been observed that your companies were still supplying power to the industry during these hours.

“As suggested in the explanation letter, it is a clear case of corruption and connivance at the lower level of these companies and poor management on the top. One can rest assured that some junior staff :) would be held responsible and penalised and the top-level management would go scot-free.

Further, Ghauri said that while the ministry is mulling over the idea, it would not be possible before July 1 due to [*]technical reasons.
[*] code word for no technology available to do this :D
Ghauri that they would seek assistance from the aviation division of the Pakistan Army  [*] to materialise the idea.

[*] Unnecessary raising hopes
Ghauri went on to highlight how Pakistan’s neighbouring countries now have designated institutions to study ‘cloud seeding’ technology.
Meanwhile, speaking to The Express Tribune, an official of the metrological office, Abdul Qayyum Bhutto confirmed that a decision on the subject has not been made yet and talks are under way.

Confirmation, at last, that it was only 'mulling' :D

“An additional 3,600 MW will also be generated through LNG.”
Wonly problem?
Further, Asif said the contract for the import of LNG with Qatar has not yet been signed but it will be below 14% of the Brent. He assured that Pakistan will import LNG at the lowest rate in Asia which will help save the country billions of rupees.

By this means, a final solution to Pakistan's energy problems would be found."

In a Wall Street Journal article on Islamic science (13 September 1988), Dr. Mehmood noted that King Solomon had harnessed energy from djinns. "I think that if we develop our souls we can develop communications with them," he said.

“At least 4076 constables will be recruited in the Punjab Police’s Specialised Protection Unit (SPU) with the purpose to provide foolproof security to the foreign experts working on various government projects in the province,” a police spokesperson confirmed on Saturday.

These vacancies are being advertised in the national dailies during the next couple of days, the spokesperson added.

BRR: The Chinese investments pledge is gargantuan compared to historical FDI inflows. How realistic are these plans?

MI: Total foreign direct investment into the country over the past 60 years stands below $30 billion. Compared to that, $51 billion investment within next 8-10 years is indeed a hefty tally but I am quite optimistic considering that majority of these pledges are in buoyant sectors like power generation, road and infrastructure projects.

Our economy is large enough to absorb such sums and China is also quite willing and capable of investing these funds here and it is also in Chinese interest to generate demand in the region. Chinese are very efficient and I believe there will be positive spill over of that within our own industries as well. In my opinion, project initiation is more important than completion as jobs will be generated as soon as work commences.
The coal power plants may not be up and running within the tenure of this government.
A five-year term - 2013-2018? These guys promised Sahiwal would be completed by end 2017.

We need injection molding machines at every corner; we need welding shops; electrode manufacturers; blow molding and scores of other small industries all over the cities and towns of the country. The large industries can all afford generators and captive power. But the real growth impetus can only come from vibrant small and medium enterprises in the country and those need energy.

We must not lose focus by excessive harping on Lakhvi pigLeT alone. Reason being that for sure, TSP is using this pig to calibrate their stance. It could very well be that in due course, TSP will do some well publicized window dressing about taking Lakhvi to task, and you can be rest assured then that TSP's 3.5 and DDM and Cong will pile on the pressure on ModiJi to resume "uninterrupted and unterruptible" dialouge, and TSP's demand for hand over of Kashmir will be front and center.

A_GuptaJI, as I was mentioning in an earlier exchange, India must set key benchmarks before any talk of talks with those evil b@stards. As much as I deride Jaswant Singh (by the way, how is he doing?), he was the one who coined the phrase "talks with a gun pointed at India's head", and India should resume any talk of talks when this gun is irreversibly silenced.

Rubbish. Lakhvi is an arm of TSPA, and they will never allow him to touch any of their 3.5. There maybe other "non state actors" who may create a bit of hara kiri in Chinese Muslim provinces, but its TSP state terror machine with pigLeTs like Lakhvi that are arrayed against India, and India alone, not against any of TSP's 3.5. BJP will do well to internalize this rather than running around begging all and sundry to see India's POV.

China: Uighurs blamed as 18 die in Xinjiang attack, says report

At least 18 people died after ethnic Uighurs attacked police with knives and bombs at a traffic checkpoint in China’s western Xinjiang region, Radio Free Asia reported on Wednesday.

The attack occurred on Monday, the station said, in a district of the southern city of Kashgar where tensions between Muslim Uighurs who call the region home and the national majority Han Chinese have led to bloodshed in recent years.

Suspects killed several police officers with knives and bombs after speeding through a traffic checkpoint in a car in Kashgar’s Tahtakoruk district, the US-based Radio Free Asia said, citing Turghun Memet, an officer at a nearby police station.

Armed police responded to the attack and killed 15 suspects “designated as terrorists”, Radio Free Asia cited Memet as saying.

The attack comes at the beginning of Ramadan, a sensitive time in Xinjiang after a rise in attacks over the past three years in which hundreds have died in attacks blamed by Beijing on Islamist militants.

Repeated calls to the Xinjiang government news office were not answered. Such incidents are frequently reported in overseas media but not confirmed by the Chinese government until days later, if ever.

Exiled Uighur groups and human rights activists say repressive government policies in Xinjiang, including controls on Islam and on Uighur culture, have provoked unrest, a claim that Beijing denies.

The more Chinese or any nation gives into Paki demands the more will be the attacks. Simply put as long as the U.S was the donors, they were the ones who got hit in Afghanistan. When India under UPA was soft on Pakis, many of the terror attack happened. The best answer that will yield result is the current response to Pakistan under Modi regime. It's time that Chinese can take a leaf out of India's strategy and start destroying Uighur terror camps run by Pakistan.
