MQM now Completely alieanted Like Baochis: Sindhis must be next

MQM lawmakers resign from Parliament, Sindh Assembly
ISLAMABAD/KARACHI: Lawmakers from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) resigned from the Senate, National Assembly and Sindh Assembly on Wednesday over claims of being victimized in the ongoing operation in Karachi. The party's lawmakers met National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq in his chamber where they individually submitted their resignations. According to latest reports, all 23 MNAs of the MQM have completed the process of submitting their resignations.Speaking to Geo News, NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq confirmed that he had received the resignations and said he was forwarding them to the Election Commission of Pakistan.NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq had earlier said that if the MQM legislators submit their resignations to him he will accept them after verifying each one individually.
“When I asked them, the MQM members told me that they were tendering their resignations without any pressure,” said the NA Speaker.MQM is being pushed against the wall and the path is being cleared for another in the local bodies elections,” Sattar said. He also stated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was being helped in Karachi.“The Karachi operation is not against criminals and terrorists,” Sattar said.Earlier, the MQM’s provincial legislators met Sindh Assembly Speaker Aga Siraj Durrani in his chamber where party's provincial leader Khwaja Izharul Hassan submitted resignations of the 51 lawmakers. The party’s eight senators also submitted their resignations to the Senate Secretariat. The MQM has decided to step out of the legislative fold in light of reservations over the ongoing Karachi operation. The decision was taken during a meeting of the party’s elected representatives which was chaired by MQM chief Altaf Hussain via telephone from London.

Speaking of The Brink, another RAPE-ette who appears to read BRF is binashah, the one who recently wrote the NYT puff piece on Purelands IT growth. She was aksing Asif Mandvi what the Brink was, and whether it was online. Shivji, there are two theories which say why we dont unleash onto TSP what it does onto us.
1. We are not like that onlee. Multiple reports of both ABV and MMS being similar in this regard. I dont think Modi cares about that.
2. Escalation. 2nd was, is quoted by chankian earth-e-shaster Bectors and wotnot.
I think there is probably some sort of timeline being followed to allow unleash-ment as capabilities are built up. Overt, so one day IA afsar says hainjee enough 155mm in stock, bang bang ok. Second, Pigeon saar aka AD says ok Baloch biraders zindabad. Till then border firing and rogatory onlee.

The problem has been that some GOIs in the past have not allowed military capability to be built up possibly as a CBM to massa.

Now one understands that outright war is not necessarily the best response. Bakistan is a jelly state, we can already see some nice shake ups happening in Karachi, in the Taliban ranks.
It is a matter of time, before these two events will have a nice big blowback on Pakjab.

Meanwhile India builds up strike capability for a short blistering operation which may or may not be needed.

one can see pakistan's discomfiture by watching Harami Gul, who's come on pakistani talk shows yelling bloody murder and calling all sorts of names to Ashraf Ghani.
Who ever released info that Mullah Omar had died 2 yrs ago, has completely spoiled the game that the ISI was running wrt taliban-afghanistan "talks".

The question I ask is this:
1. Mullah Omar was dead 2 yrs ago, but the ISI was releasing statements on his behalf and controlling the taliban.
2. OBL was also in Pakistani custody / protection wasn't he? Looks like the ISI was doing this to Al Qaida too. Maybe the ISI was doing the day to day running of AQ too!

Three policemen killed, one injured in Karachi
KARACHI: At least three policemen were killed and one injured when unknown armed men opened fire on a police mobile in Karachi’s Korangi area on Wednesday.
The gunmen managed to escape and took the police weapons along.

Charcoal roads - can anyone explain that to me? Is it some quirk of translation from Urdu?
http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/punjab/12- ... ptember-cm

I'm highlighting the grandiosity and the charcoal:
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif revealed on Tuesday that 2,075 kilometres of roads will be constructed and repaired by September in the first phase of Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Road Programme.
...
Shahbaz Sharif said the Punjab government is implementing the policy of balanced development of all areas of the province. Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Roads Programme is a glorious project of public interest and the biggest programme in the history of Pakistan, therefore work should be carried out speedily on this project, he said while calling for holding an international seminar on it as soon as possible. He said the second phase of the project, named “Pakian Sarkan – Sokhay Panday”, will start from the beginning of September.

No compromise will be made on standard and transparency in this project, the chief minister said, adding that a mechanism has been evolved for the provision of quality charcoal for the construction and repair of rural roads. He said that use of substandard material will not be allowed in the construction of roads and stern action will be taken over any complaint in this regard. The chief minister directed that action should be continued against the elements involved in the sale and use of substandard Iranian charcoal.
I looked around a bit, here is a GoP (PDF) from 2008, it has definitions
http://www.pbs.gov.pk/sites/default/fil ... report.pdf
25. Pacca Streets: Means those pavements which are made up of cement (lenter), black top (charcoal) or soling (bricks).
30. Road: It means the black top (charcoal made) road.
Thanks in advance!

^^^, yes, has to mean asphalt or tar (though I wouldn't put anything past Pakistanis). Charcoal however is coal made from roasting wood.

PS, just FYI
http://www.dawn.com/news/1198923
Lahore DCO retired Captain Muhammad Usman directed the town municipal administrations to launch a crackdown on those selling and supplying Iranian asphalt in the city.

In a statement, he said since the Iranian asphalt was substandard and its sale was prohibited under the Section 144, the town officials should seal the shops selling the product.

With all the residual analysis. How about a list of targets we can open source and tabulate?

Moral and diplomatic targets
Economic targets
Logistic targets
peaceful non state actor targets
Kaafir non state actors
Baloch targets where Indian tacticians can work with freedom lovers to take out easy targets [Punjabi]
Punjabi Enclaves in all of the non punjabi states. on Ak phyrr can take out a bunch of fat assed 'innocent' pak jabis pigging out on their biriyani at 7 pm
High visibility Sunni mosques [one bum can kill at least 20 jernails and their associated spawn kids]

for example, pay a talib to place a bum on one of the bridges / dams and take it down.

Pakistan set to move WB against Indian power plants
Hare We Go Again
LAHORE - The government is all set to move the Word Bank in a week after India ignored its call for mutual agreement on appointment of a neutral expert to decide the fate of two hydel power plants in Occupied Kashmir.Despite serious opposition by Pakistan, India sped up construction work on both the projects, official sources told The Nation. Indus Water Commission of Pakistan has been raising serious objection to the design of 330MW Kishanganga Hydroelectric Project (KEHP) and 850MW Ratle Hydroelectric Plant (RHEP). Fed up with the delaying tactics of India, Pakistan wrote a letter on July 24, proposing appointment of an international expert to decide the matter.
However, New Delhi did not bother to reply to Pakistan’s call while the work on both the projects is in full swing, officials of the water sector aware of the developments said. It is mandatory for the World Bank, being the broker of the Indus Water Treaty, to appoint an expert on the request of Pakistan and give verdict on the matter. Pakistan had lost the case of Baglihar Dam because of its failure to raise objection to the design parameters of the project before the start of the construction work on it, but India would not get a similar benefit in international arbitration in case of KHEP and RHEP as Indus Water Commission officials have evidence of repeated correspondence with their counterparts in India, raising objections to the designs of the water sites. Kishanganga project is designed to divert water from the Kishanganga River to a power plant in the River Jhelum basin. It is located 5km north of Bandipore in Occupied Kashmir. Ratle project is located in the River Chenab basin.
Besides the two projects, Pakistan had expressed concern over the design of three other projects being built by India on River Chenab. These projects are: 1,000MW Pakal Dul, 120MW Miyar and 48MW Lower Kalnai. In 2010, Pakistan appealed to The Hague’s court against the construction of KHEP. However, India was given a go-ahead for the construction of the dam by the court in December 20, 2013. But this time Pakistan is moving against the design of the project which is not meeting the treaty’s requirements. “We have objection to the depth of spillways of the Kishanganga and other dams at the Chenab River as India cannot do this under the Indus Water Treaty,” said the sources in water commission.
When asked, the Indus water commissioner confirmed that they were moving the World Bank within a short span of time. However, despite serious objections to the designs, the Pakistani side is still willing to resume the talks on three other controversial projects, he added. He stated that Pakistan’s point of view on the two sites was very clear and hoped it would win the case. Water experts believe that apart from adverse impact to be caused by the Kishanganga dam on Pakistan’s irrigation system and energy sector schemes, it would have a devastating effect on biodiversity and ecosystem in Neelum Valley. It is being considered the proposed projects of India would drastically impact the water flows in the Chenab and the Jhelum rivers which irrigate most of the land in Pakistan.

^^^ Akchually this is an interesting idea. Of the one final war -- destroy the river bed for a hundred miles inside india border diverting them to new river beds/canals at the first sign of war. No more canals to protect the bakis, well irrigated rajasthan, and the army saves on bridge laying. Forever more, bakis grow dates.

Why not build canals and ditches like crazy, even if they remain empty all but the monsoon? Cheaper than the rafale. Let every desert crevice be a future sink. Tone down the river flow 10% every year for canal maintenance.

Even you can be right sometimes. Sending a letter rogatory to Pakistan sounds like "Procedure being followed"

Procedure being followed means that Pakistan is considered a normal state. it also means that there is no new thinking and new way of handling Pakistan. We have been saying for years that Pakistan needs to be treated for what it is rather than what we would like it to be. If a US national was caught in India, sending a letter rogatory to the US would invite a response as per the same books that the US follows.

Pakistan does not follow those books. Time will be wasted sending this letter rogatory and after weeks or months we will get a non reply from Pakistan.

Then what?
They are just SOP(standard operating procedures), since its followed for all countries, it needs to be followed for TSP, everyone knows the outcome, but this is a necessary time-waste so that everyone just follows the procedures. Nothing to take too seriously about. :((

There is an intriguing article on tripune.pork

Named, I kid you not, "Raising the white flag: A tribute to our heroes"

For a moment, I thought, the porks have finally decided to give some bandwidth to the highest of Porki martial tradition, Hoisting the white flag. Followed by downhill skiing for fleeing...

But, I was mistaken.. Apparently the white portion of the Porki Phlag is supposed to be for minorities!!...

So, why have they not re-dejinned the phlag with an all green back ground and a small white patch in the corner, hain ji? Should the phlag not reflect the current minoritee status?? The crescent and the ishtar can be in dark green!

Lots of profiles of minorities listed.. Most interesting to me was this..
Wing Commander Mervyn Leslie Middlecoat, a triple decorated war hero, shot down two Indian jets over Karachi during the 1965 war.

In December 1971, he crashed into the Gulf of Kutch but his body was not found. King Hussein of Jordan requested his funeral to have a Jordanian flag along with a Pakistani flag and regarded his death as a personal loss.

He was awarded Sitara-e-Jurat in 1965 and 1971 and Sitara-i-Basalat in 1971.
Wing Cmdr Middlecoat, after shooting down all those SDRE indian planes, decided to just 'crash' in the ocean.. on his own.. No Indian fighters involved in it.. Totally!!

Altaf bhai is dropping 400% hints to Pak Fauj and Raheel sharif to back down and let MQM be or else ...
:rotfl:

The implied threat is Altaf -> pushed to a corner == Mujibur Rehman
MQM-> pushed to a corner == Mukti Bahini, or Mohajir Bahini or some new namesake.

Actually my bad, MQM is already Muttahida Quami Movement, maybe they should actually implement its name in its truest sense. They changed their name from Mohajir Quami Movement to this one.

Much prized symbol of piety in the Mohammadden world. Referred to in Arabic as zebibah /zabiba / zebiba meaning "Raisin". The "Raisin" bit is confusing as I thought that in Arabic it was "Houri".

Speaking of Mush, his birthday was on the 11th. Only reason I know about it is because I know a *very connected* TFTA who had posted his best bday wishes on Mush's FB page and it popped up on my feed for some reason. There was also a pic of Mush cutting his cake.

Sure it wasn't cheese cake?

Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri pledged the group's allegiance to the new head of the Afghan Taliban, showing the organization's stance on the Taliban leader’s disputed accession.

Zawahiri made the pledge to Mullah Mohammad Akhtar Mansur in an audio statement posted online.

Zawahiri is thought to be seeking refuge in the Afghanistan-Pakistan border area where the Afghan Taliban has a strong presence.

The declaration from Zawahiri comes after some Taliban factions have split from Mansur and declared loyalty to the Arab leadership of the Islamic State militant group and engaged in battles against fighters who remain loyal to Mansur.

Mansur was named as the new Afghan Taliban leader after the 2013 death of Taliban leader Mullah Mohammad Omar was confirmed in July.

Anal-isis by Praveen "Grandmother crossed the LOC" Swami.

This huckster's "logic" is "Modi needs investment from the USA, and the pakis are taking advantage of that, because Modi has no option but to talk because of his need for foreign investment".

Typical huckster logic that shrinks reality into neat buckets by providing false choices, i.e., only choices for Modi are ratcheting up war with Pakistan or talking to pakistan, and nothing else. Then, "connect the dots" with Modi's push for foreign investment and voila, you have some marvelous anal output from the guy who reported on various grandmothers crossing the LoC that resulted in cross-border conflict. This swill is also being swallowed whole by the jokers in various bangalore think tanks apparently.

why fidayeen in Gurdaspur may have fired first shots in a new war

Has the same feel of unstated admiration for "the gaandmasters of suhrawardy" like Bector who destroyed the Gurdaspur thread.
