Pakistan to receive US$550 million tranche from IMF in December

Maybe, it might be a good idea to take the above money and apply it to cover the losses of the (Nandipur) "White Elephant " Project built by Chini-blothers.[*]

Chinese firm refuses to take over Nandipur Power Project
ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Chinese firm ‘Dongfang Electric Corporation’ has refused to take over the controversial Nandipur Power Project of Pakistan Electric Power Supply Company (PEPCO).
Nandipur Power Project came in limelight when the 425 MW project suddenly stopped working merely weeks after inauguration in July this year. The controversy resulted in sacking former project director, who was earlier conferred Sitra-e-Imtiaz for the project, and audit of the project from international organisations. (only in Pakiland)
:rotfl:
During the tenure of the previous governments, the project was delayed for about four years resulting surge in it cost from $329 million to $847 million.
[*] The proceeds of the IMF loan of $ 550 million can be applied towards the (" White Elephant Project") additional loss of $ 518 million incurred on the Power Project; this assumes that the remaining amount of $ 32Million has already been siphoned off by Ganja and his cronies as "commission/fees", and deposited into Swiss Bank Accounts per Paki tradition

This guy mental or genetic Paki?
Faisal Mohammad, a freshman who majored in computer science and engineering at the University of California was carrying highly flammable petroleum jelly, ziptie handcuffs, night vision goggles, duct tape and a hammer in his backpack when he was shot in the back by cops.
In reference to the petroleum jelly, Sheriff Vern Warnke said: 'He had poor man's C4' - C4 being the dense, putty-like explosive used widely by the military and demolition teams.Moments before he had 'smiled' as he used a 10-inch hunting knife to stab two students, a campus construction worker and a female teacher in a terrifying attack that was praised by an Isis-linked Twitter account. However police have insisted his attacked were based on 'personal animosities' and a 'vendetta', not a political agenda. The 18-year-old, described as anti-social by his roommate, was supposedly 'having fun' as he slashed the first student in the throat inside a classroom.

Pakistan seeks information on Indian Army's exercise in Rajasthan

http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/art ... aign=cppst
NEW DELHI: One of the largest military exercises by the Indian Army in recent years has evoked sharp concern in the neighbourhood, with Pakistan raising questions on the scale and scope of the war game that would practice quick maneuvers by strike formations in the desert region.
While India had shared details of the 'Winter Exercise' that has commenced in Rajasthan this month as part of a mutually agreed protocol, sources told ET that Pakistan requested for additional details of the .the war game, with concerns emerging on the 'intent' of the wargame. The Winter Exercise is the biggest wargame being conducted by the Army since the BJP government has come into power and involves over 35,000 soldiers, several hundred tanks and armoured vehicles and heavy artillery support. The exercise is being undertaken by the Bhopal-based 21 Strike Corps, which has already placed a Brigade level force into the area with more elements being inducted this month before the culmination stage from December 5-10. A 'defensive corps', which shall function as the holding formation for the strike corps exercise will shortly be moved into place from Jodhpur. "We have informed them (Pakistan) about the exercise according to the procedure. It is as per the routine training and if there are concerns, they will be dealt with through the regular channels as well," a senior Defence Ministry functionary told ET.

think about it: war games, s400, f16s, direct threats and counter threats by army chiefs, ...etc. It looks like both sides are preparing. I expect the action to be in 2016-2017 period.

Was Reham Trying To 'Slow Poison' Imran Khan To Take Over His Party?

Was Reham Trying To 'Slow Poison' Imran Khan To Take Over His Party?
Sameer Arshad
November 5, 2015

Was a bid to slow poison 62-year-old cricketer-politician Imran Khan to grab his political legacy the last straw that led him to divorce his journalist wife, Reham Khan?
This is one of the theories making the rounds since the two announced their split on October 30.

The two are yet to divulge reasons for parting ways, fuelling a barrage of speculative reports about the divorce. Journalist Arif Nizami's revelation about the attempted poisoning citing intelligence sources has been among the most dramatic. "Intelligence agencies conveyed to Imran through his close friends that Reham's intentions were not right. It was feared she could poison Imran to grab his party's reigns,'' Nizami told Pakistan's News 24 channel.

His theory carries weight as he is known sniffing out scoops and breaking news. Nizami had broken the story about Imran and Reham's marriage in December 2014 as well as the divorce last month. In September , he said the couple had reached a point of no return and were about to part ways. The journalist said Reham had made Imran's life hell and the decision to annul the marriage was not mutual. According to Nizami, the couple had frequent fights

Nizami told the channel the two fought bitterly two days before the divorce was announced after Reham told Imran she would tell him how to run his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He said Reham was then sent to London on the pretext of attending a conference when Imran emailed her the divorce notice much to her shock.

Another journalist Shahid Masood, who claims to be very close to Imran and had tried to dissuade him from marrying Reham at the behest of the ex- cricketer's sister, echoed Nizami. He revealed that traces of rodent poison were found in Imran's body when he fell ill and was admitted to a hospital after eating a laddoo. Masood said a "non-political personality" and an ex-officer of "an institution'' involved in surveillance had asked Imran not to marry Reham. "He contacted Reham as well and told her Imran is a popular leader whom she should stay away from,'' he said.

Imran, however, ignored the advice. The relationship soon began to sour when an ambitious Reham insisted on participating in politics. The revelation that Reham had lied about her degree and domestic violence in her earlier marriage did not help. "Her relation with Imran was based on lies and fraud. She kept Imran in the dark about her past life and falsely claimed her ex-husband use to beat her,'' said Nizami.

Nizami claimed Reham used to beat her ex-husband and had even hit Imran as well. "Imran was so sick of her that he even ignored advice that he should wait for local bodies' election to get over to announce his divorce with Reham.'' Reham has also been accused of taking money from PTI leaders to finance a film she was making. Aleem Khan, who lost a crucial byelection earlier this month from Lahore, was one of the financiers.

My thoughts exactly.

What surprises me is the Pakis seeking clarification after this article is reported here (India). There own "intelligence" had no information on such a large exercise being held out of turn in a bordering state.

Just thinking aloud, if the action has to happen, is summer better or winter? I think winter would be better because the hills become inaccessible during winter and deserts become more bearable. Summers would be difficult to manage in deserts.

BTW, Amit Shah had said that Bihar elections results are related to Pakistan's well-being. And Amit Shah is not a fool and he is in power.

TSP will cease to exist once the borders in Middle east and South East Asia are redrawn and not before that. There are too many players in this game of protecting TSP.
As much as we talk on BRF, India alone doesn't has the desire or hunger to absorb TSP on its own alone
nor there seems to be any long term road map.
The bset that would happen is 1971 redeux and hopefully instead of a new country, India will assimilate
Balochistan as one its Provence.
As far Sindhis, I would be very happy to see them crushed under the Jackboots of Pakjabi Army and Mohajirs.

Afghanistan turns to India for military helicopters
KABUL: Afghanistan is poised to acquire four attack helicopters from India to help it fight a growing Taliban insurgency, a small but significant deal marking a shift in Kabul's search for allies.
Afghan National Security Adviser Mohammad Hanif Atmar is due in New Delhi this weekend to finalise the transfer of the Russian-made Mi-25 helicopters, said sources in New Delhi and Kabul who are involved in the plans.
"We are going to give them the helicopters, this is a one-off arrangement," said an Indian security official, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.
Pakistan's foreign ministry declined to comment on the Afghan plan to obtain attack helicopters from India, saying it was a matter between those two countries. The military did not respond to a request for comment.
India had discussed ways to ship the Mi-25 helicopters to Afghanistan with the commander of the US forces in Afghanistan, General John Campbell, another Indian source said. So, this "one-off" arrangement has the blessings of Massa? But have not they "outsourced" their Afghan policy to the Pakis? New Delhi can't fly the choppers to Kabul since they would have to go through Pakistan and so they would need to be taken apart and transported by plane.Campbell paid a rare visit to New Delhi in September but no details were released at the time.
New Delhi would also need Moscow to sign off on the transfer since the helicopters were bought from Russia, a Russian diplomat said.
But would not be better for all concerned, if some real pressure is put on the Pakis (to stop their "mischief" in Afghanistan ) by their main supporter?

Nop. Wind blows towards bakistan during Monsoon. It is from east (so PURVA) and brings rain clouds from eastern India. During summer it is opposite.

US sees Taliban as reconciliation partners: Pentagon
WASHINGTON: The US Department of Defence has said that it’s no longer conducting counter-terrorism operations against the Taliban in Afghanistan because it views the group as an important partner in its efforts for restoring peace in the war-ravaged country.
“What we’re not doing (is) counter-terrorism operations against the Taliban,” Pentagon spokesman Navy Captain Jeff Davis told a Wednesday evening news briefing in Washington.
“We actually view the Taliban as being an important partner in a peaceful Afghan-led reconciliation process. We are not actively targeting the Taliban,” he added.
Confirmation that Afghan policy "outsourced" to Pakistan?
The Pentagon official said the United States was working “very extensively” with the Pakistani government in the fight against terrorists.
In Afghanistan, the US ended its combat operations last year and its role there now was simply to advise and assist the Afghan forces, he said.

Imran Khan Conned Into Tying The Knot To Reham By Ex Chief I.S.I - Hajam Sethi
Reliable sources are saying The Great Khan’s residence has been cleared of his soon-to-be former wife’s belongings. Her stuff has been packed in containers and dispatched from his Bani Gala redoubt. They say the ex’s domestic staff has been sacked and The Khan’s old retainers brought back. The house was apparently filthy, and The Khan’s sisters came in for a special spring clean. The Khan’s fixer, ZB from London, is also acting as courier and has apparently taken a certified copy of the divorce papers to the United Kingdom so that they can be formally delivered to the lady.quote]
So, Immy has now apparently reconciled with his family :)
People all over the country are asking if the couple was so incompatible, why did they marry in the first place. Insiders are well aware of the answer and it is that The Khan was nudged to do the needful by the former head honcho of the Invisible Soldiers Inc. so that a brewing scandal could be preempted. As with all the former head honcho’s myopic plans, this too has backfired, but not before devastating The Khan and shattering his nerve. Apparently, he says it’s been a traumatic experience because they both wanted completely different things from the marriage. He wanted a docile, supportive wife who wouldn’t question any of his presumptions and who would deflect the limelight away from the developing scandal. She was an ambitious, hard-bitten woman on the make, who wanted fame, riches and power from her marriage. Sadly, the ingredients of a successful union – love, respect, friendship, shared values – were all missing from this marriage of convenience. - See more at: http://www.thefridaytimes.com/tft/such-gup-110/#sthash.LnPTg1Jx.dpuf
Just wondering, if Ms Khan was an "agent of influence" for the Deep State, and she achieved the purpose for which she was recruited
Unable to bear the daily tension and trauma, The Khan called it quits the day before the Local Bodies elections, devastating his party colleagues who were out in the field, trying desperately to garner votes. He is now inclined to be melancholy and mournful, not for a love lost, but for the failure of another opportunistic venture, this time the Mother of All U-Turns. They say he’s occasionally weepy and says he’s been cursed by “kissi larki ki bud dua” or a wounded woman’s ill will. He’d be better off recalling The Bard’s famous words: “The fault, dear Brutus, lies not in our stars but in ourselves.”
If he was thinking with his head, instead of "between his legs", this would not have happened

In Pakistan, Saudi Princes- Inspite Of Their World Wide Debauchery - Are Considered As "Symbols Of Holiness"
The Government insists that granting hunting licenses for th"e Houbara bustard to dignitaries from Gulf Arab states is a cornerstone of Pakistan-Gulf relations. The judiciary differs
But it was proclaimed not too long ago "that this is a cornerstone of Pak's Foreign Policy; but then beggars cant be choosers!
On September 23rd 2015 a bruised and bleeding woman was seen screaming and attempting to scale the eight-foot wall of a multimillion dollar mansion in Los Angeles. Inside, the police found two more women being held captive. All three women had the same story to tell: they were employed by a Saudi prince as caretakers of the house and during their employment they witnessed the prince indulge in extreme debauchery on a daily basis ....-
But just the other day, a proclamation was made at the highest level, no one will be allowed to damage the brotherly relations between SA and Pak; does not this "expose" fall into that category
Whilst in other countries they get arrested for their crimes, in Pakistan they are a symbol of holiness: because they are the protectors of Islam and the Guardians of the Two Holy Mosques. Here they are held in tremendous respect and awe for their religious status, extravagant displays of wealth and the abundance of wives (and concubines) around them. -
The Gulf Arab prince gets what he wants. (like a spoiled child )
This is where the Houbara bustard comes in. Locally known as “Tilor”, this medium-sized, golden, spotted bird has a reputation for being an aphrodisiac in Arab tradition.
When the "black gold" runs out, they can permanently settle in Pakiland for "hunting the Tilor"
....This did not, however, prevent the prince from going there and killing 582 birds. The prince then left Pakistan without any problems, with bags of his trophies. It might be interesting to mention that the Prince himself is the Governor of Tabuk province in Saudi Arabia and has been working to promote ecotourism in his own province. The reporters who reported this slaughter have also added that this is only one report and other such incidents have gone by unreported. -
It is hoped that the "poor reporters" are still there to do their jobs and have not been visited by the "Deep State"
...After the VIP farewell for the prince, the massacre of this magnificent bird was challenged successfully in the Balochistan High Court and in the resulting judgment, the allotment of hunting licenses was declared illegal.

So there is a tussle going on between the civic society and the local inhabitants vs the State, which cannot "afford" to anger this powerful Ummah patron
Allowing certain special Arab dignitaries to hunt whilst specifically prohibiting every Pakistani from doing the same is another deeply problematic aspect of the government’s policy. A Pakistani cannot pay a license fee similar to a Saudi prince and hunt Houbara bustards. This discrimination of the state against its own citizens flies against articles 25 and 26 of the Constitution. By treating Pakistanis as second-class citizens and allowing a few rich foreigners to slaughter rare wildlife, the state does a great disservice to its citizens.
The Saudis, the Amrikhans(annoy and collect Moolah in return ie blackmail, therefore exclude from list) and the Chini-blothers are on the top of the Do Not Annoy List of this rentier state

Only in Dubai.

Know you won't believe this but this one's true.

Two nights ago, DXB airport, T1 Business lounge. Had an early morning flight to catch go into smoking room and what do I see there?

Youngish sheikh (mid 20's) sitting in lazyboy, smoking Virginia slims with a Heineken on the side. And on the next chair is pet hunting eagle. Dude has his falconry glove off and is stroking the poor bird's back half-choking in the thick smoke. Should have stuck on and seen which flight this chap boards, but was too tired and went to sleep. When I woke up dude was missing.

He is dressed as BT and not a sainik.

The movie in which that progeny of Heera mandi stars in is going to have a rough time releasing. Unless current generation of Ts are paid off handsomely.

Foreign Policy Crisis - Edit, DT
The anti-India terrorism dossier shenanigans at the UN have predictably backfired and rather than winning over new allies, Pakistan seems to have lost old ones. A recent election to the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) saw Pakistan fail to muster the required votes, in what is being termed by opposition Senators as a direct result of the headless FO’s debacles. It defies good reason that Pakistan of all countries, mired in conflict and in need of a proactive policy to win favour internationally, would pursue such an ad hoc approach towards foreign policy undeterred. After Pakistan’s refusal to join the Saudi coalition waging war in Yemen, the country has lost its stock with its traditional backers in the Gulf, and their ‘no’ votes seem to have contributed to Pakistan’s failure to secure election to the HRC. And the best solution the FO can up with is to insist the Supreme Court repeal the ban on the hunting of Houbara bustards. As ever, the failings of the civilian government provide space to the military, whose chiefs are stepping in and going on foreign ‘diplomatic’ tours on their own.{Wasn't Raheel Sharif vehemently opposing sending troops to Yemen? Is he trying to double cross Nawaz now?}

Welcome to Pakistan, Shah Rukh Khan
But there are some minor rituals of settling in that he will have to go through.

Written by Khaled Ahmed

BJP MP Yogi Adityanath was upset with film actor Shah Rukh Khan because he found that Khan “spoke like Hafiz Saeed” when beefing about intolerance in India. Then BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya thoughtfully suggested that he should migrate to Pakistan, upon which Hafiz Saeed, whose statements are under a media gag order in Pakistan, tweeted to welcome Khan to Pakistan.

Of course, Khan should shift to Pakistan. When Hafiz Saeed invites, you’d better listen, given his outreach. Karachi is like Mumbai in its climate. Also like Mumbai, it is the business hub and cash cow of Pakistan. People here are cosmopolitan, unlike Lahore, which is still somewhat rustic. Most Pakistanis love Khan because of the films he has acted in. He will be a celebrity in Karachi. But there are some minor rituals of settlement he will have to go through, which should be no problem at all.

First, he will have to indicate in his new passport that he is a Muslim. This is useful because doing so will secure him against much mischief. The entry is important, because if he doesn’t declare his Muslim faith, he can get into trouble. While declaring what he is, he will also have to indicate what he is not. For instance, he will have to curse the “false prophet” of the Ahmadi community that has forcibly been made non-Muslim by the constitution of Pakistan. No need to feel vomit-y about this; we all make this declaration and don’t feel embarrassed in the company of our Ahmadi friends.

Then there is this minor detail. It is about his family. Is he married to a Muslim or a Hindu? If the wife is Hindu, what status has been given to the children? Of course, the names can be easily changed. Abdur Rehman and Abdullah are blessed as favourite Muslim names. If the wife is not yet a Muslim though, there will be difficulties from
Khan’s marriage. If the wife is not from the People of the Book, she has to be converted, preferably by Hafiz Saeed, given his divine authority.

They say Khan is second only to Amitabh Bachchan in wealth. That is a blessed condition because charity, called zakat, becomes compulsory for him after that, to prepare him for high status in paradise, which will have lots of pretty virgins to disport with. There is, however, a minor glitch here. Any charity set up with zakat will not be permitted to help non-Muslims, especially Hindus, quite a few of whom inhabit Karachi despite laudable efforts at conversion or migration.

There are other minor obstacles that Khan will of course overcome quickly, given his popularity in Pakistan. He will recall that he has made a number of films in which he has acted as a Hindu icon, a king putting non-Hindus to the sword, or a commando of the Indian army, killing Pakistani mujahideen and, still worse, seducing Muslim girls. In one especially despicable film, he even crosses the border illegally and comes to Lahore in pursuit of a Muslim beauty. This will be compensated by making good Pakistani films showing him piously massacring Hindus
after entering Kashmir with fellow mujahideen. A Taliban beard (no mustache!) will look good on him.

There are also a few helpful details about Karachi that Khan will have to pay heed to. Pakistan is manfully fighting the curse of a vast underworld of extortionists in the megacity. Of course, we will soon clean up the mess, but it is useful to know that the political parties short of funds are heavily into bhatta (extortion)-taking (not yet in vogue in India?), which they share with over 15 terrorist outfits, formerly known as proxy warriors. Kidnapping of two types is rampant — one that takes the victim to the highlands of Waziristan, and the other that takes the victim round and round in Karachi till you cough up the money. Khan and his family will be looked after by Hafiz Saeed, no doubt, so only the second type of brief kidnapping may be faced by them now and then.

Khan will doubtlessly revive the Pakistani film industry, which has hit a long trough after General Zia-ul-Haq’s pious decade in the 1980s. I have no doubt he will appreciate that he can’t be cavorting around in them with half-naked heroines, the way he does in vulgar India. Pakistanis, who flock to cinemas to see his films, turn their faces away when such love scenes come on. I hear Indian filmgoers, too, will soon observe such pieties.

If you are as great as Khan, what about politics? I would suggest: Set up a political party, like Imran Khan, and call for an end to corruption while looking deferentially in the direction of Hafiz Saeed and that other humanitarian saint, Dawood Ibrahim. The only hitch I can see in Shah Rukh is that he is too soft-spoken. That will not do. He will have to thunder defamations like Imran if he wants to get in the good books of the masses.

Aam Abduls Posing As Fake Diplomats  To Escape "Land Of The Pure" , Arrested At Isloo Airport

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk/Agencies) – The immigration officials offloaded and arrested two fake diplomats after recovery of counterfeit diplomatic passports from their possession at Islamabad on Friday.
According to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials, two persons identified as Tariq Zubair who claimed to be diplomat of an Eastern Asian nation and his so-called assistant Hussain Shah, leaving for Canada(favourite destination?) through PIA flight No. PK-781 were interrogated by immigration officials.
The diplomatic passports of both were found to be fake and a letter head of President Mamnoon Hussain(what are the chances that he was on the take as well?) was also recovered from their possession, after which they were offloaded, detained and handed over Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) for further interrogation.

By this time, hiramandi sooper dooper stars(CurseBeUponPoliticallyIncorrectProphet) should have already checked several steps before crossing over to India and trotting like some Taliban Mullah in Pakistan:
* Whether some fatwas are already out or not against personalities
* Whether anyone is shouting piety against a la Begum Malik now in jail
* Whether some arbitrary paki wants to be superstar himself, by bumping off a la killer of Salman Taseer and goatnaping kids

If all boxes check out at the moment, then shout EENTOLRENT and make a scene to steal secular space from heathens and pagaans.

Need to answer this from Chaighar here
Raza Raja RHR wrote:One thing which Congress needs to understand is that slogans about “intolerance” are not going to save them. Eventually it is the competence which matters. One thing which BJP needs to understand is that they can actually win votes without indulging in bigotry.
The day they understand that, most of the things will be on the right track.
Now the above sounds so very harmless and thoughtful and humane, that many Indians would not even think twice about the less than noble intentions of the writer. Bigotry of RSS is taken as a matter of fact, simply because it is repeated so often, nobody even cares to think twice about its truth.

Let me rephrase the above for Pakistan.

"One thing all Pakistanis need to understand is that they can actually lead honorable lives without indulging in beheading their sisters."

Now all one needs to do is to repeat that over and over again, till everybody stops questioning its veracity or the validity of the generalization.

Understanding Hindu nationalism
In as much as ‘existing on extremes of ideological divides’ (Ashley Tellis), India and Pakistan seem to be treading similar courses with a time lag of half a century. The right in Pakistan prevailed in 1949. In India it existed since antiquity but became vigorous and prominent recently. The reasons for this drift in India are far different from Pakistan. Both India and Pakistan followed a course of inventive nationalism built on religion and Fabian socialism respectively. The arrival of BJP meant that Nehru’s social theory would be tested and replaced by Hinduism. BJP rise is due to four reasons. First, Congress and other social democrat parties performed badly. After Indira they lacked a leader. Secondly, BJP capitalized on India’s economic success eclipsing its wizard Manmohan Singh of Congress. India’s dirty rich irrespective of ideology bankrolled the Right. Thirdly, the overblown Gujarat miracle by India’s corporate media eclipsed the Indian economic paradigm shift by Rajiv Gandhi. Lastly, in the social media, Hinduism themes went unchallenged by secular India that existed on keyboards and not cell phones. In Pakistan, we need to understand the winds of change. Emotionalism, hackneyed mindsets and ill-informed choice of words inhibit comprehension. Reason and rationality must prevail to understand the implications on regional security.
When Modi and Sang Pariwar talk of a highly developed and scientifically advanced India of antiquity, analysts in Pakistan are at a loss to understand why? The glory they envision existed perhaps 5000 BC earlier or more. It finds mention in Sanskrit edits and Vedas. Modi’s hypothesis cannot be out rightly rejected. The Indus Saga, the best by Aitezaz Ahsan skips this point. Did it exist or not is a question geologists, anthropologists and archeologist will address in due course. However the existence of a culture that pre dates Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro cannot be denied. Most that forms part of this sparsely documented history now exists in what is now Pakistan. Five decades ago the world was ignorant of the prehistoric sub-continent. Historical facts of oldest culture and civilisations were ignored. P
Kautilya in his treatise carries inputs from older Shastras and Mahabharata. U.N. Ghoshal sees a paradox in Kautilya’s thought by commenting, “We are struck with the blending in the authors make-up of the two opposite streams of his inheritance, namely the theological (after the Brahmanical standards), and the political (after the Arthashastra) pattern”. There is a conflict between Vaivasata Manu who believed in ethical behaviour and prevents Law of the Fish to prevail through Danda and Kautilya whose main concern was territorial and economic acquisitions through Danda. Traditional Hindus see this as sacrilege and depict Chanakya as intriguing and cantankerous to a touch of comedy. Therefore, being inherently opposite, all aspects of Kautilya may not be resonated by the Hindu Right.
But Kautilya does resonate in Nehru’s Fabian Socialism and Panchsheel. This made Congress look different from the Hinduvta espoused by Savakar. But Savakar was more into the culture and stopped short of the ultra-right by placing logic in law above religion. Therefore inasmuch as BJP espoused secularism as vehicle to power, it will glorify Savakar for as long as it suits. This is why the traditional Hindu right is different and evolving.According to G.N. Pant, “Just as the Arthashastra has for many years been scanned for what it has to say about the development of Indian state-craft, the Mahabarata is now being explored for what it has to say about the ‘essence of Indian military mind”. Mahabharata School follows the strict Hindu precepts with high ethics, and political idealism based on morality. It is not secular and strives to look pragmatic. It follows the traditional Hindu Shastras and the codes of Manu, Shukra and Kamandaka.
T. The radical and aggressive behaviour of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), RSS and Shiv Sena reflect a union. Over the years, the representation of Jat and other Hindus in the defence services has increased leading to rebirth of the Kashtriya tradition and the emergence of a militant Hindu core. They nuclearized India; aggressively call for unification of Kashmir and ultimate annexation of Pakistan.Hinduvta’s equivalent emerged in Pakistan in the form of Objective Resolution, a revisionist stance on the riots of 1857 and creation of ideology of Pakistan by Ayub Khan. Therefore before criticizing the emergence of the Hindu Right in India, Pakistanis must pause to think where its center and left been since 1949. In India, they are returning awards and fighting back.
