Hong Kong based newspaper the South China Morning Post reports that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s Deeper then Indian Ocean, Higher than Himalaya’s, Sweeter than Honey, Purer than ever flowing Water, Closer than Lips to Teeth Iron Brother, the Peoples Republic of China, orders hostels not to offer accommodation to citizens of the Islamic Republic on security grounds.

Interestingly the P.R. Chinese Police has only targeted citizens of Mohammadden majority countries which besides the Islamic Republic of Pakistan includes Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and that poster child of “Moderate Islam”, Turkey:

Hostels in southern China told to refuse guests from five Middle Eastern and Asian nations : Nationals from Afghanistan, Turkey, Iraq, Syria and Pakistan won’t be allowed to stay in smaller facilities in Guangzhou starting from this week ‘to reduce security risks’

Some hostel operators in Guangzhou said police have ordered them to turn away guests from five Asian and Middle East nations until mid next month.

Hostels in various parts of the city have confirmed to the South China Morning Post that local police asked them to turn away guests from Afghanistan, Turkey, Iraq, Syria and Pakistan starting from this week.

The 11th Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Cooperation and Development Forum was being held in Guangzhou on Thursday and Friday, while the G20 leaders’ summit will be hosted in the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou on September 4-5. ……………………..

^^^ +1.

Above instance is not the first time that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s Deeper then Indian Ocean, Higher than Himalaya’s, Sweeter than Honey, Purer than Ever Flowing Water, Closer than Lips to Teeth Iron Brother, the Peoples Republic of China, have displayed behavior indicating that they fully understand the Islamic Republic is a security risk. Back in January, P.R.China refused to support the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s fervent plea that their Davis Cup tie be played in the Islamic Republic itself.

This all then begs the question as to how the Peoples Republic of China is going to safeguard their sprawling 46 something billion dollar investment under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) when they cannot rely of the Islamic Republic to secure a tennis court:

Pakistan-China Davis Cup tie moved to Sri Lanka over security concerns

I hope this is true. What I liked about Modi is that he used the same media which has been obsessed about him and hostile for more than a decade to his advantage. Media has scrutinized every statement of his since at least 2002 even giving a negative spin to his statements. He knew that all he had to do was drop a couple of lines about Balochistan in a speech and media would do the rest 8). His statement is still being analyzed. No one has a clue!

Yes, I understand all that. I also understand that people like Nijam Sethi can not survive the violence of Pak without godfathers in the Army. So, these guys say only that is allowed by their patrons with little deviations. When asked about sensitive army type of questions, you can see Sethi mumble and grumble and then avoid. All that is old.
What I am seeing recently on the Utube is titles such as:
"After Balochistan Now Karachi wants Freedom From Pakistan !"
"First time in 70 years , India has completely Ignored Pakistan ! "
"PAKISTANI MEDIA frustrated: INDIAN flags spotted in Balochistan For NARENDRA MODI"
"Modi and Karzai threatened Pakistan because Internally we are a sick Nation: Paki Media"
Now, these Utube titles are created by BRF type people so obviously they do not count. But if you go into the pieces, you will see that "journalists" are clearly frustrated and do not see Pakistan winning in the current situation. This has become very obvious.
Perhaps, they are used to forgiving leaders like Nehru, Shashtri,& even Vajpayee. But Modi is very different and bad news for them. This is difficult to digest.

Regards role clarification, for the record, comment of Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General Stéphane Dujarric’s denying the mischievous comment by his deputy Farhan Haq, who happens to be a Pakistani National, that the UN would poke its nose in India’s internal affairs in J&K via the UNMOGIP:
2 August 2016
Daily Press Briefing by the Office of the Spokesperson for the Secretary-General

The following is a near-verbatim transcript of today’s noon briefing by Stéphane Dujarric, Spokesman for the Secretary-General. ………………

And, I know there was an exchange of questions regarding the situation in Kashmir, and I just wanted to clarify something, which is that UNMOGIP [United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan], the UN observer presence there, its mandate is to report on the ceasefire between India and Pakistan along the Line of Control. The UN Mission there does not have a mandate there beyond the Line of Control………………….

Question: Thank you, Stéphane. Regarding what you said about UNMOGIP, why did you have to make this clarification?

Spokesman: Because I think it needed to be said. ……………….

Rajiv's tenure was an utter disaster and he was posibly India's worst PM given the mandate he had. MMS was not good, but Rajiv was really bad at a time when India could not afford even 1 year of incompetence let alone a whole term. But Rajiv was loved by goras and was doing some interventions and that may have put caution into Paki minds. India actually survived 10 years of napunsak and waitress

Our MEA on what India is prepared to talk about with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan at the Foreign Secretary level:
Transcript of Media Briefing by Secretary (ER), JS (BM) and Official Spokesperson (August 26, 2016) …………………………………….

Question: Pakistan has reacted to the Indian Foreign Secretary’s letter to Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary and expressed regret that India is not ready to talk to Pakistan over the issue of Jammu & Kashmir. What is your reaction on that?

Official Spokesperson, Shri Vikas Swarup: First of all, I would like to confirm that Foreign Secretary has indeed responded to his counterpart’s letter of August 19, 2016 regarding the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir.

In his letter dated August 24, 2016 Foreign Secretary has conveyed that the Government of India seeks a result oriented dialogue on the subject. As Pakistan is aware, the intended result at issue is the early vacation by Pakistan of its illegal occupation. Foreign Secretary has reiterated that the basis for further discussions are the Simla Agreement of 1972, the Lahore Declaration of 1999 and the Joint Statement of 2004.

Foreign Secretary has underlined that as far as terrorism is concerned, not just India but the larger region is acutely aware that Pakistan is actually a prime perpetrator. A recent example of Pakistan’s policies is the apprehension in India of a LeT-trained Pakistani terrorist, Bahadur Ali.

Foreign Secretary further made it explicit that the agenda before India and Pakistan today is clearly to put an end to cross-border terrorism and incitement to violence from Pakistan. Foreign Secretary conveyed his readiness to be available to engage any time at mutual convenience on these issues. However, he mentioned that justifying terrorism and interference in the internal affairs of India is hardly a serious basis for a result-oriented dialogue.

Foreign Secretary hoped that the Government of Pakistan will reconsider its approach and show sincerity towards promoting good neighbourliness and peaceful co-existence. This will also send a larger message to a region which is deeply troubled by the policies that emanate from Pakistan.

So that is the gist of the communication that Foreign Secretary has addressed to his Pakistani counterpart and we hope that makes it very very clear how we are looking at the dialogue with Pakistan and what are the issues of central importance in the relationship.

MEA on Balochistan on the tenth anniversary of the extra judicial slaughter of Nawab Akbar Bugti by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s Punjabi Military dominated “Deep State”:
Question: I want to ask you a question about Balochistan. Today they are marking the tenth anniversary of Nawab Akbar Bugti, who they say is the father of Balochistan and the Baloch struggle. Since the Prime Minister’s statement there are several killing that have taken place, the Balochistan Republic Party has said that there are at least 40 people that have been killed and 150 have gone missing from Dera Bugti after the Pakistan army’s operation. So how does India look at it and also what are the plans because there are a lot of expectations globally?

Official Spokesperson, Shri Vikas Swarup: I would say that India has a strong human rights record at home and we are naturally concerned at the gross violations of human rights in the area that you have mentioned. How this is expressed in our diplomacy is something that you will have to wait and see.

Pakistan provokes India: PM Nawaz Sharif appoints 22 special envoys to highlight 'brutalities' in Kashmir by Indian forces
Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday nominated 22 Pakistani parliamentarians as special envoys to highlight alleged brutalities in Jammu and Kashmir by the Indian security forces. Sharif said that he had decided to send the special envoys to different parts of the world to further the Kashmir cause, CNN-News 18 reported.
Sharif said that these special envoys "have strength of the people of Pakistan, prayers from the Kashmiri people across the Line of Control, mandate of the Parliament and support from the government."
"I am standing behind these special envoys to ensure their toil for highlighting the Kashmir cause resonates across the world so that I can shake the collective conscience of the international community during my address at the UN this September,” Sharif was quoted as saying by Dunya News.....

The Sauds as a tribe can just about tolerate other muslims for a bit during the Hajj, but then that seems to be because historically they've suspended hostilities during that annual event, partly to make money off of the tourists and partly to assert their egos.

Hotels in China's Guangzhou block Muslims from five countries

Three hotels with rooms costing about 150 yuan (Rs.1500) a night told Reuters that they had received police notices from as early as March telling them to turn away people from Pakistn, Syria, Iraq, Turkey and Afghanistan."I'm not clear of the reason. We just can't take them," one hotel worker said by telephone. The notice appears only to apply to cheaper hotels at the bottom of the price scale. All of the five countries have been beset by terrorist attacks in the past few years, or in the case of Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan have been in states of war.

Paki police beats Chinese engineers, breaks fingers

Chinese engineers working on CPEC clash with police
MULTAN: Heavy contingents of police beat Chinese engineers working on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project at Multan-Sukkar Motorway in Shujaabad near Chinese engineers base camp on continuation of their work, The News has learnt.

Police insiders disclosed that two Chinese engineers sustained major injuries while the rest received minor injuries in Moza Chaddhar in Shujaabad. The said police smashed the fingers of Chinese engineer Leu while Chwoo received serious injuries on his back.

At least 20 Chinese engineers are working there and the government had provided them residence at Multan PC Colony on Sher Shah Road. They continued work Tuesday night at 11:30pm and decided to stay at the base camp that night. Chief Security Office Inspector Yousaf Haroon, appointed for their security, raised objection to their stay without an NOC and demanded that they leave the site.

Meanwhile, the CSO called Raja Ram police to force the Chinese engineers to leave the site. SHO Muhammad Ashraf came with force, exchanged hot words and beat them; however, he also received head injuries. The Chinese told the police that they had to stay to finish the work.

Pakistan embarrassed as Baloch activists in Germany chant anti-Pakistan, pro-Modi slogans
NEW DELHI: Even as Pakistan has begun to internationalize its Kashmir campaign, the country was hugely embarrassed after dozens of exiled Baloch activists in Germany came out on Saturday to chant anti-Pakistan protests and to laud Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his stirring call to end atrocities in the beleaguered province, Times Now reported.
Many of the Baloch activists were flying the Indian flag and shouting pro-Modi slogans at a rally they held in the town of Leipzig, Times Now reported. ...

China, Pakistan may counter any Indian disruption to CPEC: Expert
BEIJING: Chinese scholars are "deeply disturbed" by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent reference to Balochistan, a senior expert today said as he warned of joint steps by China and Pakistan if an "Indian factor" disrupts the $46 billion CPECBSE -4.45 %, with the region as its hub.
"My personal view is that if India is adamant and if Indian factor is found by China or Pakistan in disrupting the process of CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor), if that becomes a reality, it will really become a disturbance to China-India relations, India-Pakistan relations," South Asia expert Hu Shisheng said.
"If that happens China and Pakistan could have no other way but take united steps. I want to say that the Pakistan factor could surge again to become the most disturbing factor in China-India relations, even more than the Tibet, border and trade imbalance issues," he told PTI here. ....

Chinese need to be convinced that country of India size, next door neighbor with a population of 1+ billion young people, has lot more to offer in terms of long, stable trading relationship, than the garbage/trash of Pakistan. It would be very stupid for Chinese to lose that opportunity in the pursuit of saving transportation cost from transporting oil/gas and cheap Chinese plastic thru CPEC. In fact, I would even go further and recommend that GOI should convince Chinese that it is time to write off Pakistan for good.

And, this should apply to all countries regardless of their GDP and military might that you can't expect to sell your products and services to India, if you can't support India geopolitically.

The poorer pakistan gets, and the more India leverages cheeni interests, the lesser & lesser Cheen's need for Pakistan is going to be.
Cheen has a string of some very bad investments stretching from Venezuela to Sri Lanka, which they are paying the price for, specially now with the economic down turn there.
I don't much stomach to invest heavily in a basket case of the magnitude of Pakistan any time soon.

This attack on cheeni engineers by the police will be used by the cheenis as more excuse to go slow on further investment there

The financial year 2018-19 will be very interesting. Pakistan will be fully bankrupt!
They will have to do something to draw the big powers back in, so that the money tap opens once again.
The starting point will have to be Pakistan sympathetic governments being in power in important world capitals

But both India and China are in Asia and in the same neighborhood. There can be no two tigers in one forest. In the pursuit of dominance, China may forgo business. Patronizing Pakistan is mainly to limit India, not because Pakistan can help China in any way in its present state.

Another Crap...

India’s Modi mounts the Balochi Tiger

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is sadly mistaken if he thinks that he gave a ‘tit-for-tat’ for Pakistan’s interference in Kashmir affairs by raising human rights violations in Balochistan in his Independence Day address to the nation on August 15. Kashmir is an international issue, whereas Balochistan is local. India’s friends like Iran will have reason to worry if the genie of Balochi sub-nationalism is let loose. It seems Modi mounted the Balochi tiger without realising that he may find it difficult to dismount.
Narendra Modi earned a unique distinction this weekend as the first Prime Minister in India’s history to raise human rights violations in the Pakistani province of Balochistan, where a separatist insurgency has been raging for decades.
Modi feels elated that Balochi nationalists adore him for doing that. He chose his customary Independence Day address to the nation on August 15 from the ramparts of the Red Fort, the seat of the Mughal dynasty in Old Delhi, to stage the theatrics rich in symbolism.
However, even as Modi was espousing the cause of the Balochis on August 15, in his home State of Gujarat, a massive public rally was held by the Dalit community—‘untouchables’ in the Hindu caste hierarchy—with the support of Muslims, protesting against persecution and social and political discrimination.
To put matters in perspective, the Dalit population in India is estimated to be in the region of 200 million; Balochis of Pakistan number around seven million.
Indeed, human rights and the Modi Govern-ment make an oxymoron. Political morality should have prompted Modi to steer clear of the human rights situation in Balochistan. So, why did he decide otherwise? The short answer is —expediency.
Modi is a past-master in diversionary tactics. At a time when an Intifada-like movement is erupting in the Muslim-majority Kashmir Valley seeking independence for the region from the rest of India, the spectre of the ‘Kashmir problem’ once again haunts Delhi.
Intimidation or use of brute force by the Indian state, compliant local government, corrupt political class, blanket deployment of security forces numbering over half-a-million —the hackneyed formula to keep control over the Kashmir Valley may have exhausted its possibilities after over six decades of wear and tear. Fatigue is visible.
An exit strategy would mean ‘out-of-the-box’ solutions of the kind Britain found for Northern Ireland, for instance. But that would call for decentralisation and devolution of powers (which was also, by the way, the basis of the accession of the region to India at the time of independence in 1947).
However, that very thought is anathema for the Hindu fundamentalists who mentor the Modi Government. The ideologues of Hindutva find it abhorrent that the Muslim-majority Kashmir Valley could ever be conceded local autonomy.
The result is that Delhi finds itself between the rock and a hard place to quell the unrest in the Valley, which has been under curfew for over a month. There is some talk that regions of the Valley may be put under direct Army rule. Delhi seems preparing for a massive crackdown.
At such a juncture, the Modi Government finds it expedient to stage a political drama by whipping up xenophobia and make it look as if Pakistani interference is fuelling the upheaval in the Valley—rather than the other way around.
Tirades against Pakistan help boost the sagging morale of the Hindu nationalist lobby and divert public attention away from the crisis in the Valley.
Of course, the television channels through the weekend have been dutifully conducting discourses regarding Balochistan. Self-styled experts are digging into Balochistan’s past history to weigh the chances of its secession from Pakistan.
The Hindu fundamentalists visualise Modi as the Iron Man of Indian politics. They are wedded to the belief that Modi will someday vivisect Pakistan and it will be the final nail on the coffin of the Pakistani state, opening the door for the undoing of the Partition of 1947 and the emergence of Akhand Bharat (a unified Hindu-dominated Indian subcontinent).
All this may look to the outside world to be a bizarre notion—betwixt two nuclear powers in the second decade of the 21st century. But, make no mistake, a significant and vocal section of Modi’s starry-eyed followers anticipate Pakistan’s disintegration in all earnestness.
Evidently, Modi took to stage-acting on such a potentially explosive theme as human rights without thinking through the profound conse-quences. For a start, he is sadly mistaken in his estimation that this is ‘tit-for-tat’ for Pakistan’s interference in India’s internal affairs.
Kashmir is an international issue, whereas Balochistan is on par with Chechnya or Xinjiang or Mindanao or Kurdistan—an entirely different category. The fact of the matter is that even friendly countries like Iran or Afghanistan would have cause to worry if the genie of Balochi sub-nationalism is let loose.
Iran in particular will feel uneasy that India is destabilising the hugely sensitive region of Balochistan. (Iran’s sister province of Sistan-Balochistan is already seething with militancy and separatism.)
Pakistan has been cautioning Tehran against allowing Indian presence in Chabahar Port, which is located in the Sistan-Balochistan province. Pakistan has also been propagating that India is fostering cross-border terrorism in Balo-chistan, aimed at undermining the $ 46 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Modi may have unwittingly given credibility to these Pakistani allegations whose sole purpose is to malign India as a country that uses terrorism as an instrument of regional policy.
The point is, Modi’s tirade against Pakistan may only draw more international attention to the carnage in the Valley, which is after all the root cause of India-Pakistan tensions today. India’s interests lie in keeping things under wraps in the Valley.
Again, Pakistan will turn the table on India’s own abysmal human rights record. Pakistan may not have a lily-white reputation, but India too has many skeletons in the closet—such as the grotesque human rights dimensions of the oppressive Hindu caste system or the alienation in the Christian-majority North-Eastern regions of the country.
Suffice it to say, Modi has mounted the Balochi tiger without the foresight that he may now come under compulsion to keep riding it. Pakistan won’t let him dismount easily, either.
Meanwhile, India’s other tiny neighbours— Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal Sri Lanka and the Maldives—are watching. They will be extremely wary of the perceived hegemonic intentions of Delhi. They will increasingly look toward China as a ‘balancer’ in the region.
On the other hand, tensions are steadily increasing in the India-China relations, too. The Sino-Indian ties are set to deteriorate even further as India lurches toward the US’ rebalance strategy in Asia.
One can easily foretell that the SAARC summit due in Islamabad in November has been effectively derailed. With that, India’s leadership role in South Asia is crumbling. Modi’s regional policies face a difficult future.
So long as Modi remains in power, normalisation of India-Pakistan relations is simply out of the question. The probability is that tensions may cascade, and the two nuclear powers may be risking a war at some point. The Balochi tiger with its rider has begun walking toward the dark and deep jungle.

Pakistani politician proudly declares to be an Afghan
A prominent Pakistani politician Asfandyar Wali Khan has proudly declared he is an Afghan as he warned against the harassment of Afghan refugees in the country. In his address during a rally in Swabi, Khan criticized the Interior Ministry for ordering steps that led to harassment of the Afghan refugees. He proudly declared that he was of Afghan origin and was still an Afghan as mentioned in the revenue record.
In other parts of his speech, Khan slammed the Pakistani authorities for their failure to act against the Afghan militants based in the country.
Noting the recent killing of a prominent Pakistani militant in Afghanistan who was involved in Peshawar’s Army Public School attack, Khan said the authorities in Pakistani have not even killed a single Taliban leader nor they have arrested any of them.“But the Pakistani authorities have not killed or arrested a single leader of the Afghan Taliban on its soil or handed him over to the Afghan government,” he was quoted as saying in a report by The News International newspaper.Khan further added “If there is disturbance in Afghanistan, Pakistan would also be in turmoil. Peace and progress in the two countries are linked. If anyone has any doubt, he should read history.”He also warned that not only Pakistan, but also the entire region would witness trouble and instability if there was a war in Afghanistan.Insisting on repatriation of Afghan refugees with dignity, Khan said “It is surprising that yesterday they were called the mujahedeen, but today they are forced to go back to Afghanistan.”

wow...Drawing equivalence between Dalits in India with oppressed Balochis. M.K.Bhadrakumar is seriously compromised. Fits the name traitor and blacksheep to the letter. Wonder if he is either an evan-jihadi or is compromised by ISI / Cheen using honeypots and money and blackmailed to to writing such articles. Some Indian leftists nuts also have this excessive self hate and do not waste time to denigrate India with imaginary daemons every given opportunity.

It is good that such entities are identifying themselves. How do we weed out such internal enemies so that the task of liberating Balochistan, Sindhudesh and GB is accomplished?

What Mr. M.K. Bhadrakumar believe -The Balochi tiger with its rider has begun walking toward the dark and deep jungle.

What is exactly happening

"The Bengal tiger with its rider has begun walking toward the dark and deep jungle to mark its Territory".

Yet Another Nawaz Gimmick
Last updated on: August 29, 2016 09:31 IST
Pakistan's prime minister is trying to use the unrest in Kashmir to save his government, says Ambassador G Parthasarathy, a former high commissioner to Islamabad.
Just before the unrest that followed Burhan Wani's death in South Kashmir commenced, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was in dire domestic straits, with his domestic standing seriously eroded.
His growingly assertive army Chief General Raheel Shareef was breathing fire. General Shareef was claiming that the civilian government had done nothing to normalise the situation and take measures to rehabilitate displaced persons in the Pashtun tribal areas, after the army had launched the massive military operation, 'Zarb e Azb,' in the tribal areas, bordering Afghanistan.
This military operation was launched purportedly to cleanse the tribal areas of 'terrorists' of the Tehriq e Taliban e Pakistan, TTP, which had earlier been ISI 'assets' tasked to attack Afghanistan.
The army's military operations in the Pashtun tribal areas resulted in 1.8 million tribals fleeing their homes, with some 50,000 crossing into Afghanistan. The overbearing General Shareef had landed his country in a serious situation, which is set to promote violence, unrest and instability, across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
Some Pashtuns leaders are now questioning the legality and validity of the Durand Line, separating Pakistan and Afghanistan. This is a border that no government in Afghanistan has or will recognise.
With winter approaching, the misery of the displaced tribals will only increase and the public, egged on by the army, will hold the hapless Nawaz Sharif government responsible for the situation.
The Nawaz Sharif government is also confronted with a situation where three South Asian countries -- Bangladesh, India and Afghanistan -- are accusing Pakistan of fomenting terrorism on their soil.
All three countries downgraded their presence at the meeting of SAARC finance ministers in Islamabad. Bangladesh and Afghanistan had done so even earlier at the meeting of SAARC home ministers.
Worse still, Pakistan's Interior Minister Chaudhri Nissar Ali Khan behaved churlishly while receiving his Indian counterpart, Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
Nawaz was expecting to get a political boost as host of the SAARC summit in Islamabad in November. It is entirely possible that these three SAARC countries would decide not to participate in the Islamabad summit at the highest level.
This would leave Nawaz in an embarrassing position of having to answer to the world why three of his South Asian neighbours are holding his government responsible for promoting terrorism on their soil.
Nawaz Sharif is being seen as deflecting charges connected with the involvement of his two sons and daughter in the Panama bank accounts scandal.
The final blow to Nawaz Sharif's standing came when Pakistan-based terrorists attacked the American University in the heart of Kabul. An enraged Afghan President Ashraf Ghani rang up, not Nawaz Sharif, but his army chief General Raheel Shareef, to launch a bitter complaint about what had happened.....

I have mentioned in a previous post the curious case of Shri. M. K. Bhadrakumar, the brilliant Malyali Dalit who never made it past second-tier ambassadorships in his Foreign Service career. Contrast this to another smart, well-educated Kerala Dalit K.R. Narayanan of the Foreign Service, who was ambassador to USA, External Affairs Minister and President of India. Or the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, another Malyali Dalit. What is missing in MKB that given his caste background, education and intelligence, that he could not achieve anything better? An insider source has said that MKB was so hard-core left-wing that even the IFS which has always had a socialistic bias, could not tolerate him. One suspects given his hard pro-Chinese ranting, that he could possibly be compromised.

Pakistani helicopter strays into Indian air space near international border

A Pakistani helicopter violated Indian air space by crossing over to the Indian side of the international border in Arnia sector on Monday afternoon.
Official sources told The Indian Express that the violation happened around 1 pm when a two-seater civil helicopter strayed into the Indian air space. “We saw it flying over the international border at one place and suddenly it disappeared only to resurface again at some other place,” a senior official said, attributing the air space violation to a pilot error as the international border is zigzagged between the two countries.
Normally, both sides stay 4-5 kms away from the IB to avoid chances of inadvertent crossing of the zero line. However, the Pakistan civil helicopter was flying very near to the international border, he pointed out. The matter has been reported to the Ministry of Defence.
