UN Interferes Into "Internal Affairs Of Pakistan"

UN expert urges Pakistan to locate and return home four disappeared rights and social media activists

GENEVA (11 January 2017) – The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the right to freedom of expression, David Kaye, today called on the Pakistani authorities to make it a matter of the highest priority to locate, protect and return home four disappeared human rights and social media campaigners. The four men -Waqas Goraya, Asim Saeed, Salman Haider and Ahmed Raza Naseer- went missing between 4 and 7 January. Mainstream media outlets had accused them of promoting blasphemy, a criminal offense in Pakistan. By making the investigation of these disappearances an urgent priority, the Pakistani authorities can send a strong signal that they take seriously the responsibility for the life and security of all of its citizens, particularly in cases involving freedom of expression.“No government should tolerate attacks on its citizens,” the human rights expert said. “By making the investigation of these disappearances an urgent priority, the Pakistani authorities can send a strong signal that they take seriously the responsibility for the life and security of all of its citizens, particularly in cases involving freedom of expression.” In a previous decade, the then Govt Of Pakistan had requested the UN to investigate the assassination of an Ex PM; by the same token the UN has every right to ask the real ( Deep State ) Govt Pakistan to investigate the disappearance of it's citizen!
The UN Special Rapporteur stressed that “all states have an obligation to promote a diverse space and culture for expression, but such culture does not create itself.”“I strongly urge the Government of Pakistan to take every step possible to locate the four missing activists, a first step toward reemphasizing its commitment to freedom of expression at the beginning of the year.”

Fifth activist reported missing in Pakistan, alarming rights groups

fifth Pakistani social activist has gone missing from the capital Islamabad, a colleagues said on Wednesday, days after four other campaigners disappeared in a way that has alarmed supporters of free speech. Samar Abbas, president of the Civil Progressive Alliance of Pakistan (CPAP), an anti-extremism activist group, went missing on Saturday, according to Talib Raza, who worked with him at the Karachi-based organization. Abbas's brother, also named Talib, told local media on Wednesday that his brother had vanished over the weekend. "The family waited for a few days to inform people. When the stories about other activists disappearing started emerging, it became clear what was going on,” Raza told Reuters. It is not known how the four activists went missing last week, but some rights groups and newspapers are questioning whether state or military agencies were in any way involved. The Interior Ministry has said it is doing all it can to recover the missing men. "This government is not in the business of disappearing people and we will not tolerate such disappearances while we are in power," said Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, according to English-language Dawn newspaper.
Activists held rallies in several major city across Pakistan on Tuesday calling for the recovery of the missing activists.
Pakjabi activists might be released by the Deep State with a severe warning to mend their ways , but Balochis gone missing are either likely to remain behind bars or their bodies will likely be dumped in the Baloch wastelands !

PS: Makes sense in the context of the below:

In Dec 2015, #Pakistan was one of 14 out of 193 states that voted against UNGA resolution on greater protection for human rights defenders

Baki exports are up!!

Pakistan to export medical doctors to Saudi Arabia
I swear I did not make up this headline.

They required the services of doctors as consultant, specialists and resident in internal medicine, paediatric, general surgery, orthopaedic, family medicine, anaesthesia, radiology and others.

No VAT added. BY the way, is being "sunni" a pre-requisite?

Raheel Drama - Plot Thickens !

Gen. Raheel not received any job offer from Saudi Arabia: Sartaj Aziz

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz has stated that former Army Chief General Raheel Sharif had not received any job offer from Saudi Arabia. In a statement in the Senate, Sartaj Aziz said, “There will no effect on Pakistan’s foreign policy as General Raheel was not given any job offer by Saudi Arabia.” He was commenting on the reports about Gen. Raheel’s careers in the Saudi-led military alliance to fight the terrorism.Defence Minister Khawaja Asif also commented on the matter, saying that General Raheel had not applied for NOC yet. “He (Raheel) needs NOC from Defence Ministry if he has any offer abroad.”
So, it seems that the "heavyweights" of the Paki Establishment are in "damage- control" mode now so as to "repair any damage" to Raheel's Honour and Dignity ( the all- pervasing Enchedee !)
In response to Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani’s request to clarify the matter, Khawaja Asif said, “Gen. Raheel had just informed about performing Umrah. He has returned to Pakistan now.”The defence minister went on to say, if the former army chief applies for NOC, it will be decided according to the law.
So, Raheel flies on the King's private plane , was dined and wined ( He is not a sharabi !) feted and by the Saudi King after his "job interview", his every move and body language studied by the Paki media, and now he has decided to "rejected the job offer" ( after a spate of negative opinion in the Paki press ). But the damage to his so-called image has already been done ; it is high time that he opens his mouth and clears the matter once and for all
Last week during a talk show at Geo TV, Khawaja Muhammad Asif had said that General (retd) Raheel Sharif had been made the chief of 39-nation Islamic military coalition formed to combat terrorism. So, a second time in a month, The Hon. Asif opened his mouth too soon and again fell victim to FAKE NEWS ; hope that someone in the GOP has already cancelled his TWITTER account :D
Asif had admitted that an agreement in this regard was finalised few days back; however, the defence minister said he didn’t have much information at the moment about the details of the said agreement. He had said that the decision was taken after taking the incumbent government into confidence and “it was finalised here first”. The headquarters of the new Saudi-led coalition would be based in Riyadh. The defence minister said that any such assignment or posting requires proper clearance from the government and General Headquarters (GHQ) both and confirmed that the due process was followed before finalising the agreement. He was, however, unaware of the exact details. “As you are aware that this thing was in the pipeline for quite some time and the prime minister was also part of the deliberations,” Asif said.

Enquiring readers like to know where is Ganja Sharif in all of this; (after all as a PM (nominal ) -should not he make a statement !) did he "play a game" with Bad Sharif , because it appears from the narration that he probably "encouraged" Raheel to explore this new opportunity :D

Social Media To Get Muzzled In Pakistan !

Fears of online crackdown in Pakistan

Islamabad: Pakistani activists and opposition lawmakers have voiced fears of a crackdown on social media, the last bastion of free speech in a country where journalism is increasingly under threat, following the apparent abductions of four leftist bloggers
Speaking at a demonstration in Islamabad, opposition senator Afrasiab Khattak told AFP: “We have seen pressures on the media, electronic media, print media. People have been forced to indulge in self-censorship.“But for social media this is for the first time, the first attack. And the message is — we won’t allow freedom of expression on social media also.”
Dawn, Pakistan’s leading English-language daily, issued a strongly-worded editorial condemning the latest disappearances.“The sanitised language — ‘missing persons’, ‘the disappeared’, etc — cannot hide an ugly truth: the state of Pakistan continues to be suspected of involvement in the disappearance and illegal detentions of a range of private citizens,” it said.

Jinn-ology, Black Magic-ology And Spiritual Cardiology On Pakistani Campuses .

Jinns invade campuses
Pervez Hoodbhoy

Last week, a workshop titled ‘Jinns and Black Magic’ was organised in Islamabad by the department of humanities at the COMSATS Institute of Technology (CIIT), one of Pakistan’s largest universities. The invited speaker, Raja Zia-ul-Haq, introduced as a ‘spiritual cardiologist’ is reputedly an expert on demonic possessions and evil spirits. He is popular: a press photograph shows no standing room left in the university’s main auditorium.Interesting logic was used to prove the existence of jinns and black magic. The speaker first categorised all unseen creatures into three types: those that fly; those that change shape and appearance depending upon circumstance; and those that find abode in garbage or dark places. Why, he asked, would Hollywood invest in horror movies and paranormal phenomena if these didn’t actually exist? In Islamic countries, if there is a conflict of interest between Science and Islam ,science will lose every time even if the evidence shows otherwise !
Paranormal and conspiratorial ways of thinking dovetail well with each other. Hence it should not surprise that the current vice chancellor of Punjab University, Pakistan’s largest public university, has written a book asserting that 9/11 was an inside job. Further, according to a newspaper interview, he says that the world’s entire economic system is controlled by Jews huddled together in the town of Monte Carlo. How many loose cannons like him are roaming Paki campuses is anybody's guess; it is alarming that such unscientific views are allowed to be aired in these so-called centres of learning !
Pakistan’s universities should have been beacons of enlightenment, open inquiry, and bold new thinking. Instead they are sheep farms. A legion of intellectually lazy and ignorant professors wants a breed of students who will submit to authority, not question or challenge. Knowing that an invented bogeyman subdues five-year-olds effectively, they hope the spectre of unworldly creatures and fear of death will suitably frighten 20-25-year-olds. The newly launched jinn invasion of campuses means that Pakistan’s cultural and intellectual decline will accelerate.

Ganja seems smarter than he appears. He likely encouraged Riyal Sharif to go for the job in a way to avoid giving him an extension. Then double crossed him by manipulating public opinion forcing Royal Sharif to decline / deny the offer.

For all his bravado, Riyal Sharif lost to a clumsy civilian!

Here's a messed up paki which typifies the inbreds in bakiland.

Dear Professor,

I am a 24-year-old guy. My issue is that my older brother had nikah with my paternal aunt’s daughter and then he went to study abroad. It was done after my parents had taken his opinion about my cousin and no one forced him to say yes. Originally, the girl’s parents wanted just a ‘baat pakki’ ceremony, which means a proper proposal is taken with mithai, but it is not an engagement. But then God knows why they changed their mind and insisted on a nikah ceremony. After the nikah, my brother went abroad and after almost six months, he sent written divorce to my cousin and married a native girl to obtain that country’s citizenship. Now my parents want me to marry my cousin to maintain peace in the family. When I refused, they became very angry and since then they have been trying to pressurise me into marrying my former sister-in-law. I want to marry my classmate, S, and had said nothing to my family in this regard because I wanted to establish myself first. I had this idea that marrying S would not be easy because in my family marriages outside the community are not acceptable. So, I thought I should be able to support my wife in case my parents threaten to cut me off financially. S’s parents want her to be married within a year, and she has two very good proposals, and S says she won’t go against her parents. I, on the other hand, need at least two years to establish myself. I am not earning enough to rent a house and support her. And my parents say that my brother has already embarrassed them, and if I don’t marry my cousin, my sisters will remain spinsters, as no one in the community will marry them. I do feel for my parents and I love my sisters also. I realise that marrying off my sisters would be a very difficult thing because my community is extremely strict and they will break ties with my family if we don’t make amends, but what about my happiness? No one is concerned about what I desire. What should I do?

Yikes!

and thus my theory that Depression is a dominant gene among muslims (especially of Paki variety) due to inbreeding and their preference for Suicide Bombing!! I am sure many psychologists and doctors will agree!

"Image Repair " Won't Work - US Think Tank Message To Pakistan !

Redefining Pakistan

Of late, Pakistan has struggled with its image in the West (notwithstanding U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s “fantastic” assessment
of the country). This image problem is not, as has been the case in recent years, a product of terrorist attacks in Pakistan, nor its links to terrorists attacking Western targets—but because of cross-border terrorism that India lays at Pakistan’s feet and India’s insistence, because of that, that Pakistan be labeled a terrorist state. Pakistan’s response has been less than imaginative. [b][u]It has issued denials and sent out image “restorers” in the form of a senator and a member of parliament to Washington, D.C. It also seeks to convince the world that India, too, sponsors terrorism in Pakistan. But words and public relations are not the answer. Pakistan needs to fix reality, not just its image. It has also "been working" on the UN as well; dossier after dossier, no still no action "being taken" against India . The GIGO principle ; garbage in ( i.e.dossier) garbage out
That Pakistan needs to end its preferential treatment of anti-India jihadists and the Afghan Taliban, whose presence in Pakistan makes the country deeply unpopular in Afghanistan, is clear, at least to analysts
While such reform priorities may seem out of reach or overly ambitious, they are nonetheless resolutions worth embracing at the start of 2017. If Pakistan starts taking steps in this direction, it won’t need image restorers and public relations campaigns any longer.

Hydel generation registers sharp winter decline

SLAMABAD: The hydel power generation in the country has witnessed a sharp decline due to less releases of water from dams following canal closures for de-silting.“The power generation through hydel resources has come down to 550MW against installed capacity of 6,900MW,” said an official of Water and Power Ministry while requesting anonymity.Under the annual canal closure plan, the canals are closed from Dec 26 to Jan 31 for maintenance and de-silting leading to low water releases from dams causing decline in hydel electricity generation.
Dams are built for water storage and electricity is a byproduct. However, the electricity demand in the winter season is about 12,000 MW against 18,000MW to 19,000MW demand of summer.According to reports, eleven power generation units of Tarbela dam have been shut down due to low water level in the lake and power production capacity has reached its lowest. Only three power generation units are producing 297MW electricity and they are also not working at their full capacity. The Tarbela dam officials disclosed that due to decreased water inflow in the dam the capacity of the dam’s power production has reduced from 3,478MW to only 297MW.The present water level at Tarbel dam stands at 1,426.95 feet against the maximum conservation level of 1,550 feet. The water level at Mangla dam is 1,101.30 feet against the maximum conservation level of 1,242 feet while the level at Chashma is 640 feet against the maximum conservation level of 649 feet.Wapda said the inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6
am.

Pakistan predicted to be world’s fastest-growing Muslim economy in 2017

Belongs to the genre of " Paki Good News"

PS: The Paki media is currently saturated with news stories about the ever mounting debt burden, falling remittances from oversees Pakistanis, falling exports and the "over exaggerated" benefits of CPEC . But according to the article, Pakistan is going to "beat" Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey and Egypt in 2017 ( but not India :D ) and hence will be # 1 in the Ummah World !

NAB is committed to make Pakistan corruption free. :((

Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Qamar Zaman Chaudhry says eradication of corruption (and eradication of terrorism :D ) is vital to make country's economy strong and prosper.

As they say "charity begins at home" ; if the said Chairman Of The National Accountability Bureau Of The Islamic Republic Of Pakistan - big name but zero results - is serious about wiping out corruption, then he should start with BIG names - Nawaz and Raheel Sharif, Zardari and Imran Khan, and then target the bureaucracy and big business names !

Senate chairman directs interior ministry to submit report on five missing activists

Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani on Thursday took notice of the disappearance of social activists and citizens from Islamabad and Lahore, and directed the interior ministry to submit a report on their disappearance. At least five online activists and social media campaigners have gone missing within a week from Islamabad and Lahore. Rabbani directed the ministry to submit its report before the Senate by tomorrow (Friday). The Senate chairman urged the government to disclose why these citizens went missing. "It will be a matter of more concern if a gang has been abducting people from Islamabad," he added.
. The so-called Senate of Pakistan, will request the so-called Interior Ministry, which in turn will "beg" the real Interior Ministry AKA "Deep State" , to release the said persons ( if, they are still alive and unharmed !) as the so-called prestige of Pakistan is at stake here .
“This government is not in the business of abducting people and we will not tolerate such disappearances while we are in power,” the minister had told the Senate, adding that he was in touch with senior intelligence officials. The defacto PM ( and the "mouthpiece" of the Paki Fauj) speaketh :D
Furthermore on Tuesday, a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) had also been constituted to probe Salman Haider’s disappearance. However, no substantial development has been reported as yet. (IOW, the Deep State has not decided yet whether to release the individuals or not !)

Sunni Terrorist Fragments of Unstable Pakistan- November 7, 2016

Peace with India remains allusive

The COAS, General Bajwa, on assuming command correctly identified internal threat from radical elements as one of Pakistan’s foremost challenge.

There is logic in it. If a country is internally strong and not distracted it can acquire sufficient capability to thwart external aggression and also focus on economic development more effectively. This does not imply that there has been any reduction in external threat. However, it is possible that once Pakistan is able to control India focused militant organisations then Indian accusations could largely subside. Possible, Doable BUT Cwapistani Army will never NEVER have Peace with India.

Undoubtedly, General Sharif’s contribution in clearing the militant sanctuaries in Fata, bringing relative peace in Karachi and quelling an insurgency in Balochistan has been fairly successful. But the task is far from being over. As such, Gen Bajwa is expected to pursue this mission with added zeal, for any let-up will facilitate the TTP and other militant and sectarian organisations to make a comeback. The state will sooner rather than later also have to confront the radical organisations that are Punjab based and are known to enjoy protection of the PML-N government.

The other critical issue is how to harmonise policies of military and civilian leadership for achieving internal security and peace. With next elections in 2018 on mind, will the PML-N leadership be willing to take a firm stand against the various radical organisations operating freely in Punjab. They have to weigh the attraction of seeking votes against the hazard that is inherent in risking the country’s security and its development. The army, too, has to seriously assess whether the Kashmiri or India focused radical groups especially Jamatud Dawa are still an asset or a liability. Similarly, are we going to continue allowing Haqqani network and Taliban Shura sanctuary and expect to gain the confidence of the Afghan government? Pakistan military’s rationale for tacit acceptance of the militant groups has been that they are a force within Afghanistan and control vast areas especially those adjacent to the border. Inviting their enmity as well will add to our woes. But the flaw in this logic is that Pakistan loses moral high ground and is unable to garner international support. Apart from that it provides India and Afghanistan an alibi to engage the TTP, Baloch dissidents and other disaffected groups to work against us. It would be impossible also to win the confidence of the Afghan government if our army allows these networks to operate freely in the tribal belt and other parts of Pakistan.

Moreover, for optimum results in countering terrorism and earning international respect there has to be complete convergence and unanimity in policies between civil and military. Hopefully, with the change in military command and greater utilisation of state institutions in policy formulation this could be achieved.

Nawaz Sharif has been consistent in seeking good relations with India. With his business background he understands the value of a peaceful environment. Full benefits of CPEC will only be realisable if the two countries are able to maintain peace on the borders and also engage in trade, commerce and promote travel. Moreover, it is in China’s interest that peace prevails so the CPEC project could be executed without any hindrances. Problems created by India in Balochistan or in Gilgit-Baltistan can be a distraction.

For nearly six months the LoC has remained highly volatile with both blaming the other for initiating the firing. The question is what has it achieved apart from heightening tension and raising international concerns that the two nuclear powers could get embroiled in a conflict. Resolution of issues between these countries gets even more difficult when tensions remain high. Relations with Afghanistan are also directly or indirectly related to our relations with India. Government in Kabul has always played the Indian card to offset Pakistan’s influence in the region. Now that Islamabad or GHQ has limited influence over Afghan Taliban it further diminishes its leverage.

India despite its best efforts has failed to isolate Pakistan. On the contrary, apart from its poor showing in the immediate neighbourhood Pakistan has expanded and deepened its relations with Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Gulf states. And has taken several initiatives to open new avenues of cooperation with Central Asian states.

More importantly, both Indian and Pakistani leaderships are focused on economic development. Heightened tension and chronic fear of escalation remains a major distraction and has adverse impact on investment and resource allocation. For smooth and efficient implementation of CPEC, peace is a prerequisite. Peace is equally critical for India if it wants to maintain a high rate of growth to shed poverty. Unfortunately, lately the two chiefs of army have been trading threats and war mongering. Whereas, in Pakistan for a COAS to make statements regarding security issues is common practice but of late the Indian military leadership, too, is mimicking the same. This reflects that Indian military is gaining political clout and expanding its influence in policy formulation and decision making. Jernail is trying to do an Equal=Equal to India. It won't hold water

President-elect Trump has stated that he is ready and willing to play any conciliatory role that India and Pakistan would agree to. Besides, Vice President-elect Mike Pence has expressed similar views and feels that Trump can apply his business skills to help the two countries forge a better relationship. Notwithstanding that Trump is likely to strengthen relations with India for economic and strategic imperatives, New Delhi that has never accepted third party intervention is unlikely to change stance in the near future. However, what the US can do is to persuade India to engage in dialogue with Pakistan and stress the need on both countries to exercise maximum restraint on the LoC.

Continuous tension on the border and real or imaginary surgical strikes could lead to a dangerous situation for the nuclear-armed neighbours. Miscalculation between India and Pakistan during heightened tensions is very much a possibility that could trigger a serious conflict. There is one favourable aspect that there is unanimity among major powers that would like India and Pakistan to resolve their differences through dialogue.

Activist Jibran Nasir urges govt to arrest admins of 'Cwapistan Defence'
As peaceful activists continue to disappear mysteriously from the country, civil rights activist Jibran Nasir urged the government to arrest the admins of ‘Cwapistan Defence’, a forum on Facebook, which claims to be the “internet’s most authoritative source for news and discussions on Cwapistan military”.
The government must arrest admins of ‘Cwapistan Defence’ page and bring them to court for inciting violence against missing activists,” the activist said on Twitter.
Salman Haider went missing after spending a few hours with his friends in Islamabad’s Bani Gala area. According to the first information report (FIR), Haider had told his wife that he would return by 8pm. However, he did not return home and his car was later found from Koral Chowk.
Three other social media activists – Ahmad Waqas Goraya, Asim Saeed and Ahmed Raza Naseer – have also gone missing between January 4 and 7

West Indies cricket team refuses to tour Pakistan citing security concerns :((

West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) rejected the proposed tour to Pakistan, citing the security concerns being raised by the Federation of International Cricketers' Associations (FICA), espncricinfo reported on Thursday
The development surfaced after the FICA termed the risk level in Pakistan "at an extremely elevated state". The FICA report went on to say, "an acceptable level of participant security and safety cannot be expected or guaranteed".
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had invited WICB for a tour to play two T20s as a precondition in response to another invitation by West Indies asking Pakistan to play two T20 matches in Florida, United States.
PCB, however, had rejected the FICA advisory in a strong manner

Just for that (you know, tit for tat to hurt WI financially) al-bakistan must refuse to tour Florida because of the prevailing islamophobia there.

Afghanistan concerned over ‘sub-standard’ Pakistani products

Some Pakistani businesses, especially pharmaceutical exporters, are sending sub-standard products to Afghanistan, which is one of the main reasons why the volume of bilateral trade has declined in recent years, according to an Afghan trade delegation.

“Due to low quality of goods being supplied by Pakistani companies, people prefer not to buy Pakistan goods. This requires serious attention,” said Afghanistan Ministry of Defense Advisor Wazhma Frogh.

The concern was raised by a Pakistan-Afghan Joint Committee that met with representatives of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), according to a press release.

She stressed that this issue has to be addressed in order to save the existing trade volume from a further decline.

The delegation also expressed deep concerns over delays in clearance of Afghanistan-bound goods.

The committee underscored the need to effectively deal with numerous bottlenecks hindering trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan, which declined to less than $1.5 billion in 2015 and continued to go down in 2016.

The delegation members said that trade must thrive and move on a fast-track basis that can be done when business communities work together and play the role of a strong bridge.

Speaking on the occasion, former KCCI president Siraj Kassam Teli said the chamber was already trying to improve the existing relations between the two countries and will be more than happy to fully support and cooperate with the Joint Committee.

KCCI President Shamim Ahmed Firpo pointed out that during 2015-2016, Pakistan’s exports descended to $1,230 million while its imports stood at $41 million but these figures do not depict the actual trade volume between the two countries.

The quantum of unofficial trade is said to be significant at the border of Afghanistan due to which, according to estimates, every day goods worth millions of dollars are moved in and out of Afghanistan through trucks that go unrecorded, he noted. The Khyber Pass, a part of historical Silk Road between Pakistan and Afghanistan, is reported to have been widely used for parallel trade, which has adversely affected the national exchequers on both sides of the border, Firpo added.

KCCI president noted that although some measures have been taken to deal with this issue, the situation calls for increasing scrutiny and the installation of modern scanning machines, biometrics and tracking system at Pak-Afghan border.

Referring to Afghan-Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement (APTTA), the KCCI official said that this agreement was largely being misused as the Afghanistan-bound goods arriving at the ports were actually ending up in the Pakistani markets.

Ganja Plays Gol-mal Games With Paki Supreme Court Concerning Panama Pleas

Panama pleas: Prime Minister said his life is like an open book, but it appears that some pages are missing, says Justice Khosa

ISLAMABAD – A larger bench of the Supreme Court has resumed hearing a slew of petitions seeking a probe into Panama Leaks here on Thursday (Today).A five-member larger bench headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa is hearing the landmark case with other members Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ejazul Hasan.During today’s hearing, Justice Asif Saeed Khosa remarked that according to Prime Minister, his life was like an open book but apparently some pages of that book were missing. (key pages were torn out, so no one can "understands the plot" and the mystery will remain forever ! The author of the "book" should be booked for corruption, be it Ganja Sharif or the "ghost writer" of this bio !)
Counsel for PM Nawaz Makhdoom Ali Khan is currently arguing before the bench regarding the ownership of London flats and offshore companies.Makhdoom kicked off his arguments by clarifying that Nawaz Sharif had no company in the British Virgin Islands adding that Nawaz Sharif was not beneficial owner, director or shareholder of any offshore company and so he was never linked to any of them.“The plaintiffs sought disqualification of Prime Minister on the basis of his conflicting statements, exchange of gifts between the premier and his successors,” said Makhdoom Ali Khan.He maintained that Hussain Nawaz had a valid National Tax Number (NTN) and PTI’s counsel Naeem Bukhari accepted it before the bench. In spite of overwhelming evidence can any judge dare to give a verdict against Ganja ( and his extended family ) and still survive in this profession
At this point, justice Asif Khosa replied that he should focus on Nawaz Sharif and expressed that the apex court could summon anyone when needed.Makhdoom Ali Khan argued that the plaintiffs mentioned the Sharif family without naming Nawaz Sharif.“It’s a general kind of plea and the third plea is to order National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to complete corruption cases’ investigations which had nothing to do with the premier, again,” he said.Earlier, Naeem in his concluding arguments sought disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He expressed that according to Sharif family, the barrier certificate was in possession of Qatari family before 2006 adding the ruling family needed to prove that all the transactions and dealings were fair and legitimate.
Awami Muslim League president Sheikh Rasheed started his arguments by questioning how Maryam Nawaz could be one of the wealthiest ladies in the country without any source of income. He endorsed the arguments of Naeem Bukhari and expressed that the judges had taken oath of dispensing justice.
Rasheed maintained that the apex court was well aware of the case and the plaintiffs were there just to assist the bench. He reiterated that Maryam Nawaz was dependent on Nawaz Sharif contrary to the claims of Sharif family. The AML chief accused Nawaz Sharif of being directly involved in Panama case.“Qatari prince was like a rescue 1122 for Nawaz Sharif,” quipped Sheikh Rasheed. He went on with his remarks and maintained that Qatari letter could not be considered substantial evidence because it lacked an affidavit. He expressed the view that Qatari letter was no more than a tissue paper.
“The face behind the case was Saif Ur Rehman,” said Sheikh Rasheed in his quintessential witty tone

Farce will continue until enough is enough and the case will be "thrown out " ( as so many other cases ) by the "esteemed judges" of the Paki Supreme Court for lack of evidence and things will come back to normal (agitation by Immy on the re-election of Ganja Sharif !)

Accused Judge In Tayyaba Torture Case Barred From Working .

Is this just a "slap on the wrist" to satisfy the public outrage on the physical abuse of a minor girl by a member of the Paki Establishment ( a judge !) and when things cool down will be reinstated quietly or is he genuinely going to be made an example, disbarred for life and punished according ( remains to be seen).
One major determining factor- wlll be the "sifarish" the so-called judge can "bring" - does he have a high - level biradar who can plead on his behalf

Ummah Countries Top "Pakistanis Deported " List

2 Lakhs Pakistani deported: Which country expelled most Pakistanis?

ISLAMABAD: Interior Ministry has stated that over (only :D ) 0.2 million Pakistani expatriates were expelled from 135 countries of the world, from year 2014 to 2016.The ministry further said in a report that majority of the expatriates were expelled from the countries such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Malaysia and United Arab Emirates. ( The matter should be taken up in the next meeting of the IOC )
Moreover, several Pakistanis were also expelled from Turkey, United Kingdom and Greece, the ministry said.According to the statistics released by the Interior Ministry, 2,00,066 Pakistani expatriates deported from year 2014 to 2016. In 2014, 78,409 Pakistani nationals were expelled whereas the figure rose to 1,16,185 in year 2015.The number of deported Pakistanis declined to 71,886 in 2016. ( Because the defacto PM and Interior Minister Of Pakistan, stood firm and "refused" to take back undocumented illegal Paki citizens who were posing as "genuine refugees" and were exposed as such by the Turkish, Bulgarian, Greek, Italian, Austrian, Hungarian, Czech, Slovak, Polish, German, and the French authorities ; if not for this "principal stance" by this hard-working Ch. Nisar, the number of deportees in 2016 would have been much, much higher )

How can a person be an "expat" (therefore legally living and working in another country) and yet get deported? The correct phrase should be "0.2 million illegal unauthorized Pakistani immigrants"....

Indonesia is also showing higher economic growth rates and so is Malaysia.

Pukistan is a true dead dodo .. that has same old annual exports number since decades .. a weak, thin, measly < 20 Billion $ amount in exports and with gradually rising imports and fast galloping foreign debt numbers.

Mush Playing ( Long - Distance !) Games With Paki "Justice System"

Musharraf wants 'foolproof security' if he is to appear in court

Part of the strategy of this self-styled and publicity hungry Kammandu to "stay relevant" in the Paki political scene . In this day and age of social media, a few announcements at strategically timed moments ( "Raheel was instrumental in helping me flee abroad" !) plus a few media interviews will ensure that he is not "forgotten" by the Aam Abduls and his "legions of admirers" . Money is no problem for him !
