Food Debris Is Responsible For Airplane Crashes; Karachi-ites Urged To Clean Up Their Act

CAA finding ways to keep birds away
KARACHI: To avert the possibility of birds hitting an aircraft when it is taking off or landing at Karachi Airport and also Air Force aerodromes, Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan (CAAP) has held a meeting to avert off this menace.A meeting under the chair of Nisar Brohi, Manager Karachi CAA being attended by the from Commissioner Karachi, Mayor Karachi, Solid Waste Management Authority, Deputy Commissioners Korangi, Malir District Municipal Corporation besides chairman Korangi District Municipal Corporation have discussed at length the danger of accumulation of food leftovers in heaps and water accumulation with the radius of 10-kilometers of airports.
How about applying for Dollar Aid From An UN Agency to solve this "urgent problem" or sending abroad all the CAAP members abroad ( preferably Massaland ( or as a last resort Chin ) for a period of at least 3 months to "study the problem" and submit a report !
The agenda of the meeting comprised of the removal of heaps of garbage and also draining out accumulated water within 10-km area surroundings airports besides taking action against the use of laser toy-guns by children within the said limits. The meeting observed that stagnant sewage and leaking of water supply pipelines as well as food leftovers are feeding points for birds.
There have been instances of birds colliding on the wings, nose cone and also the tail, but the maximum danger to the aircraft would be if the bird is sucked into the jet engine of the aircraft. Such an event could be particularly dangerous as the bird could impact an engine blade, displacing it into the path of another blade and so on.
Historical records indicate that Karachi, once ( before partition) was known as the cleanest city in Asia !
Pakistan Air Force Masroor and Faisal Base had in past lodged complaints with CAA for taking appropriate measures to get rid of from birds.Besides Air Force authorities have also registered complaints with commissioner, deputy commissions and DMC offices to keep clean their respective areas within airports from heap of garbage. This is known as "passing the buck" . Krachi is being treated as an orphan by the Faujis, as it is "MQM turf". If this was Isloo or La-Whore, it would be no problem .
The participants asked the city civil authorities to keep a look for the laser toy-guns with the 10-km limit of airports. The wedding halls within the airports vicinities should also be asked not to throw away food-scrap on open land. Moreover it was observed that during Eid-ul-Azha sacrificial animals, their offal and other food materials should not be put on open spaces. ( Jamaat - ul - Dawaa , a fully owned subsidiary of the "famous " LET, should be sent the clean up bills ! Hides are collected by them as "donations" , but is used for financing of terrorism ) This is the sheer responsibility of concerned DMCs to dispose them off.

A day before India cut Pakistan into two, this is how Pakis cried at UN :D
Too much arrogance is harmful for health. And there cannot be any better line to describe Pakistan and its politicians.
Here’s a clipping of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto from a UN security council held on December 15, 1971. His pride even prompted him, along with his followers, leave the council midway. However, least did he know then that the very next day his country would be ransacked into two by the Indian Army.
Here’s a video covering Bhutto’s speech from the UN council:
We have also brought to you a video snippet of what happened exactly a day later. Have a look:

Barter System For Stone Pelters In Kashmir .

Pakistan-aiding-kashmiri-stone-pelters-cashless-funding-reveals-secret-sting-operation
A sting operation by a famous media house revealed that the Kashmiri stone-pelters are being provided with cashless funding by Pakistan to create nuisance for the Indian Army.
According to the reports, since there has been acute shortage of money post demonetization, Pakistan is now taking the aid of barter system to provide funding to the stone pelters.
The modus operandi is precisely simple – depending on the pre-decided bargain, the stone-pelters can take any commodity from the Pakistani terrorists against their work. The report alleged that trucks often ply between Muzaffarabad (in PoK) and Srinagar and these trucks bring with them the commodities to be distributed among the stone pelters.
However, the Indian Army officials are yet to ascertain the truth of this operation. So Paki Aam Abduls are being starved to "feed the agitation" in Kashmir !

14 killed as passenger van hits landmine in Kurram Agency

PESHAWAR: At least 14 people were killed when a passenger vehicle struck a roadside bomb in Gudar area of Central Kurram Agency early Tuesday.

The blast tore through the heavily-loaded pickup truck in the Godar area of Kurram tribal district early in the morning, Irfan Ali, a local administration official in the area told AFP. The deceased included five women and four children.

“An anti-tank mine was buried on the roadside and hit a pick-up van,” a political administration official told The Express Tribune. “It was a rutted path in an area that is at a distance,” he added.

Nine others, including four Khasadar officials, were critically injured in the explosion. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.

The military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations, said a special Mi-17 helicopter has been sent to Parachinar to bring the injured to Peshawar for treatment.

Image
A list of the victims released by the hospital. This list does not include victims who died on the spot.

IS Khorasan and TTP-JUA have both claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Kurram tribal district is known for sectarian clashes between Sunnis and Shias who make up roughly 20 percent of Pakistan’s population of 200 million, and it has also been a stronghold for the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan as well as its factions.

Last month, at least 28 people were killed and 100-plus wounded when a suicide bomber detonated a car ‘rigged with explosives’ outside an Imambargah in a busy marketplace in the main town of Kurram tribal region. The grisly violence sparked angry protests by local residents in Parachinar, the administrative headquarters of the agency, which is prone to sectarian violence. Jamaatul Ahrar, a splinter group of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, claimed credit for the deadly bombing in Parachinar, which came less than two months after a bomb ripped through the main vegetable market in the same city on January 21.

Afghan Terror Attack Prompts Student Demands To Dis- invite Mush At Yale University .

Pashtun & Afghan scholars plea to Yale: after Balkh terror, Musharraf talk ‘even more disconcerting’
In the aftermath of the Taliban attack Friday on an army base in Mazar-i-Sharif, northern Balkh province, that killed 100 Afghans, mostly soldiers of the nascent Afghan army, a number of Pashtun and Afghan scholars appealed to the Yale University, the School of Management at Yale and the Institute of Global Affairs at Yale University to cancel the talk by former Pakistan dictator, Pinochet of Pakistan, Gen Pervez Musharraf, scheduled to take place Monday afternoon. The Pashtun and Afghan scholars in their joint missive to Yale University said the invite to Musharraf has become even more disconcerting after the Taliban attack as Gen Musharraf had openly and rather proudly said his military regime supported the Taliban against Afghanistan. Looks like this Islamic serial liar, in the guise of a "moderate" is back on the Massa Lecture Circuit spreading his propaganda left and right :x
Already an online petition against Musharraf’s appearance at Yale School of Management has amassed nearly 200 signatures. 200 will not do the trick, IMO !
“As you are probably aware, Gen Musharraf had overthrown Pakistan’s democratically elected government in October 1999 and seized power unconstitutionally. Not only did he trample over the constitutional rights of the Pakistani people, he also stoked the pyres of jihadist terrorism in the neighboring Afghanistan. General Musharraf has proudly told the media that he backed the Taliban and its deadly affiliate the Haqqani Network in Afghanistan when he headed the military junta as self-styled president of Pakistan.“Your invite becomes even more disconcerting as on Friday April 20th the Taliban conducted a deadly attack in Mazar-i-Sharif that left over 100 personnel of the nascent Afghan National Defense & Security Forces dead and several more wounded.“While we firmly believe in of our of free speech and freedom of academic expression, we are at loss to see how a reputable university offering a pulpit to a military bully who had banished two elected prime ministers of Pakistan into exile, serves such freedoms. The Yale University has ostensibly invited Gen Musharraf as someone who was a genuine Pakistani leader, which he has never been. In fact, Gen Musharraf is an absconder from law and there are pending treason charges against him in the highest court in Pakistan for abrogating the constitution.“In the interest of peace, democracy, and justice that the Yale University aims to inculcate as lifelong values and ideals among its alumni, we appeal to you to immediately rescind the invitation to Gen Pervez Musharraf. By rescinding the invite the Yale University, the School of Management and the Institute of Global Affairs will send a strong message to dictators all over the globe that the civilized world stands with the people who stood up against against dictatorships and not with the dictators who oppressed them.”
Those who signed the petition included, among others, Umar Daud Khattak, Pashtunistan freedom activist, Kabul; Ahmad S. Hemmat of the Fletcher School of Law, Tuft University; Afghan feminist Habiba Ashna, Washington DC; Samim Arif, Fulbright Scholar; Ansar Faqiri, George Mason University; Wais Barakzai of Kardan University in Kabul; Ihsan Omarkhail; and Najeeb Nangyal, Project Coordinator for Cooperation for Peace and Unity, Kabul. Musharaf had been suspected of playing a "double game " with Massa when he was in power . For a while, he avoided visiting the US . But now it appears that he is back in demand - thanks to his US Agency, which solicits on his behalf !

Pakistan on collision course with Iran?
Pakistan has generally tried to maintain close ties with both Saudi Arabia and Iran, but this is now going to change completely.
Despite the parliament's decision last year against becoming a party to the intensifying Saudi-Iranian conflict in the Middle East, particularly in Yemen, Islamabad recently approved the appointment of Raheel Sharif (main picture), the country's former army chief, as head of the 39-member Saudi-led military coalition. Riyadh says the Muslim nations' alliance was formed to fight terrorism in the region, but experts point out that it is primarily an anti-Iran grouping. Naturally, Tehran is not part of the coalition. The Associated Press news agency cited Pakistan's government officials as confirming that Raheel Sharif had departed to Riyadh on Friday to take the reins of the military alliance after Islamabad officially endorsed his leadership. The authorities, however, claim the coalition under Sharif's command won't take any action against Muslim countries.
In 2015, Riyadh formally requested Pakistan to provide combat planes, warships and soldiers to support the Arab coalition in fighting Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen. But the South Asian country's lawmakers voted to remain neutral in the conflict, albeit PM Sharif later clarified in a televised speech that in case of an aggression against Saudi Arabia, Pakistan would take Riyadh's side.
Experts say that Pakistan's economic dependence on the Arabian country is also a reason behind Pakistan's support for Riyadh and Raheel Sharif's appointment. They claim that that Pakistan already has troops in Saudi Arabia in an assisting role. But with Sharif taking charge of the alliance, the troops could be directly involved in the battle. The Arab countries' coalition also has the backing of the United States. In the past few years, Islamabad has drifted away considerably from Washington but analysts say that both countries still have many common strategic interests in the region. Also, the Pakistani military heavily depends on the US funding.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani visited Pakistan in March last year ( Where the" Bad Sharif" accused his country of spying in Pakistan and siding with India !)in an attempt to convince Pakistani authorities to remain neutral in the Middle Eastern conflicts. Iran is aware of the concerns and limitations of its ties with Pakistan, but analysts say it still wants to maintain "normal" relations with Islamabad.
"Pakistan should not get involved in the Saudi Arabia-Iran regional rivalry," Mosharraf Zaidi, a former USAID consultant and Islamabad-based foreign policy expert, told DW. "We must not forget that Riyadh and Tehran have their own interests, therefore the Pakistani government, too, should do what is best for the country. It must keep good relations with both Saudi Arabia and Iran, " he added. Sound advice - but disregarded !
"For Pakistan's Islamic fundamentalists, the country is already a 'Sunni Wall' against Shiite Iran," Siegfried O. Wolf, an expert at the University of Heidelberg's South Asia Institute, told DW in an interview. Not only that , but the Saudis are depending on the Pakis to make them available the "Islamic Bomb" as and when they want it

Pakistan demanded Durand Line recognition, reduced ties with India: Karzai
KABUL: The former Afghan President Hamid Karzai has said Pakistan had demanded recognition of Durand Line as the formal international border between Afghanistan and Pakistan during his presidency.Speaking during in a Kabul, Karzai said Pakistan had also demanded a reduction in bilateral ties between Kabul and New Delhi. He said the demands were made by the then Pakistani President ( Musharaf ) on numerous occasions.Karzai further added that Pakistan will seek more influence and seize more lands of Afghanistan if the Durand Line was accepted as the international border. This comes as Karzai said last month that Afghanistan will not recognize Durand Line as a formal border between Afghanistan and Pakistan as he reacted towards Pakistan’s move to close the transit and travel routes between the two countries.“The Govt of Pakistan has no legal authority to dictate terms on the Durand line.while we wish freedom for the people of #FATA from FCR and other repressive measures, we remind the Govt of #Pakistan that #Afghanistan hasn’t and will not recognize the #Durand line.” Karzai said.Karzai made the remarks after Pakistan unilaterally closed the transit and travel routes along the line in late February. -KP . X Posted from the Islamism Thread.

News wire service United Press International (UPI) reports that stampeding wild boars kill three belonging to the Mohammadden belief inspired group, Islamic State aka IS aka ISIS, near Kirkuk in Iraq.

Does being killed by a “Haram” beast like a wild boar cancel out a trip by these dead Mohammaddens to “Jannat” and the company of “72 Houris”?

April 25 (UPI) -- A stampede of wild boars mauled to death three Islamic State militants waiting in ambush Sunday in Iraq, Kurdish fighters said Tuesday.

The mangled bodies were discovered by refugees fleeing territory controlled by the Islamic State about 50 miles southwest of Kirkuk, said Sheikh Anwar al-Assi, a chief of the local Ubaid tribe and supervisor of anti-Islamic State forces. ……………………
The above article of wild boars killing three terrorists of the Mohammadden belief inspired group, Islamic State aka IS aka ISIS in Iraq reminds of the Janurary 1987by news wire service Associated Press (AP) story of a wild boar destrorying a F16 of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s Air Force :

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — A Pakistan air force F-16 exploded after hitting a wild boar on the runway during takeoff, The Nation newspaper said Friday.

The accident happened Thursday at the air force base at Sargodha, 120 miles southeast of Islamabad, the English-language newspaper said. It did not say whether the pilot survived.

The Nation said the fighter plane's nose wheel was knocked off after hitting a wild boar. The plane skidded along the runway, caught fire, "turned into a fireball and was destroyed," the newspaper said. ………………………

Balochis Not Being Treated As "Equal Pakistanis" !

Govt stays silent as tides swallow up parts of coastal village
KARACHI: Threatened by a sea that is fast devouring their land, the residents of Damb, a small seaside village in Sonmiani, Balochistan’s Lasbela district, have urged the government to take immediate measures for securing the coast. They also demanded compensation payment to all those affected by a disaster that struck the village. On the morning of April 16, intense wave action swallowed over 43,000 square feet of land (around two acres) in various points of the village.“The erosion spell started in the morning during the high tide and we saw large pieces of land falling apart in the northern-western side of Damb that exists in the Miani Hor Lagoon,” Master Abdul Rasheed of the Sonmiani Development Organisation said, adding that more than 200 structures, including houses and shops, had been lost in the disaster.
Master Rasheed added that the continued sea erosion had resulted in a loss of a major portion of the coastal market, besides affecting the Pakistan Coast Guards’ office and a seafood processing plant. As a result of the tragedy, fishermen now face difficulty in docking their vessels.“Contacts with government officials, including the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the deputy commissioner and the coastal development authority haven’t materialised into any action. In fact, the PDMA told us that sea erosion did not come within their purview,” said Mr Anwar. One reader has commented that Pakistan does not have the expertise to deal with such a situation. But this does not sound plausible ! This is the first Islamic nation to have it's own Nuclear Bum and not able to handle a flood like situation ...

Another "Honour Killing" News!

Brother accused of murdering mother of four in suspected 'honour killing'
A 35-year-old mother of four was allegedly murdered by her younger brother in a suspected 'honour killing' on Wednesday in Sindh's Sanghar district, police said.Qurban Ali Shar allegedly strangled his elder sister, Sabhagi Shar, on the suspicion that she was having an affair with a man, Station House Officer (SHO) Shahpur Chakar Mohammad Ishaq Sangrasi said.Ali Shar later surrendered to police and confessed to the crime, police said. The body of the victim has been transferred to Shahdadpur Taluka hospital for a postmortem examination, the SHO added. In almost all of the cases, the murderer surrenders himself to police . Not sure if the "other relatives" are somehow involved in instigating the same ( i.e. conspiracy ) or it is a "lone wolf" affair .

Chini Biryani Made The "Shan Way" :D

How to make biryani the CPEC wayt
With their new TVC, Shan Foods capitalises on the Chinese influx in Pakistan. And the ultimate "Chinification" of Pakiland
So yes, CPEC is happening and you would have to be living under a rock not to know it. But then Shan Masala goes and makes this TVC about a Chinese woman making biryani for her Lahori neighbours. Now first of all you know that when big brands start cashing in on a trend, it has to be serious. But this becomes a bit more interesting because they are talking about a foreigner making Pakistani food in the foodie capital of Lahore. Woah, hang on, this just went off the charts. Granted, Lahoris don’t know anything about making a good briyani (sorry Lahori friends) but still! A risky move from Shan but one that I suspect will pay off. A potential "Shan market" of more than a billion Chinese , all asking for more "polk biryani" - a heaven sent, once-in-a -life time opportunity to cash in on the endless demand for this (new polk!) product and in the process wipe out the adverse balance of trade situation with the Chinese :rotfl:
I also like the attention to detail. For example, the Chinese woman is wearing a seat belt while sitting in the back seat of the car. This is classic, because we know that most Pakistanis wouldn’t wear a seat belt even while sitting up front (let alone in the back), so a good contrast there. Then there’s the fact that she’s looking up recipes on her phone. Of course everyone does that now but the obsession with phones and technology is a very Chinese/South East Asian trait and it has been seamlessly woven into the commercial. The confusion on the Chinese woman’s face when she knocks on her neighbours’ door is also brilliant – a really good piece of acting there. So the ad is being criticized by the Paki Media . PEMRA ( TV Police !) is sure to notice and maybe, someone from the Deep State will pay a visit and ask the newspaper to "stop this nonsense" as the Chini fliends are getting upset !
From a brand building perspective, though, I think this is a good move from Shan. As an internationally recognised brand, it makes perfect sense to capitalise on the Chinese influx in Pakistan. And given the way the commercial is making waves on social media with conversation and memes aplenty I think Shan has yet another hit on its hand. Pak-Cheen dosti zindabad!

Paki Motor- rama Comparing Holocaust Of Jews With What Muslims Are Suffering Now In The World ; Someone From The Jewish Community In Massaland Should Take Note Of This Outrageous Comparison And Protest ( Seriously !)

PS. What backlash the Muslim Community is facing throughout the world is mostly of their own making , ( all Muslims are not terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims, not protesting against extremism, not integrating into mainstream society, practicing Taqiyya , making unreasonable "demands" etc etc) while the Jews were targeted , just because they were Jews!

How To Make Pakistan More Islamic By An Jamaat-E- Islamic Scholar

How to Islamize an Islamic Republic: Jamaat-e-Islami in its own words
Asif Luqman Qazi, Senior Leader, Jamaat-e- Islami

Editor’s Note: In “Islamists on Islamism Today,” a new series within Brookings’s Rethinking Political Islam project, we hear directly from Islamist activists and leaders, as they engage in debate with project authors and offer their own perspectives on the future of their movements. Below is an essay by Asif Luqman Qazi, a senior leader in Jamaat-e-Islami, often considered Pakistan’s Muslim Brotherhood analogue and one of the country’s most influential Islamist organizations.
There are a dizzying array of Islamic organizations in Pakistan, a number of which Matthew Nelson covers in his contribution to the Brookings Rethinking Political Islam project. To focus the discussion, I will elaborate my views on Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan specifically, from my perspective as a senior figure in the movement. Jamaat-e-Islami (“Jamaat,” or the JI) is a mainstream political organization that represents a legalist approach to change. This was the original framework that one traditionally referred to when speaking about “political Islam.” Though this essay is focused on Jamaat, one may attempt to draw conclusions regarding political Islam more generally.
Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan is distinct among contemporary Islamic movements in that it had strong democratic traditions right from its inception in 1941; has a written constitution to govern its organization; and has always operated within the framework of the country’s constitution. It seeks to bring about societal transformation is through appealing to the intellect, organizing communities, and rallying masses around its program—just like any other political party in the East or West. It believes that Islam provides a universal and dynamic vision of life that is valid and relevant for human welfare in all times and places. Non-Muslim readers should be aware of the concept of "Taqqiya" :D
Jamaat adopted the four- point program presented by its founder, Abul A’la Maududi, soon after Pakistan came into existence in 1947. This program encompasses all its activities. They are: reforming the life and mind at the individual level; organizing, motivating, and training virtuous individuals; reforming society more broadly; and reforming the government and political structure. From the beginning, Jamaat made clear that it would operate through legal means and would not resort to secret or underground activities to achieve its objectives. It was in this backdrop that Maududi, along with 33 other prominent Islamic scholars, took a keen interest in the development of Pakistan’s first constitution. These leading scholars—belonging to all recognized schools of thought in Islam—unanimously adopted a 22- point charter to serve as an Islamic basis for the constitution of the country.[1] Maududi was subsequently invited by Pakistan’s founding father, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, to deliver five lectures on the foundations of an Islamic system of life. These lectures were broadcasted from official radio channels and elaborated the social, political, and economic underpinnings of a Muslim society that the newly established state was to adopt. Nothing about the "Jamaati leader" initially opposed to the creation of Pakistan :D
This invitation by Jinnah was in keeping with his vision to establish a system based on Islamic ideology. Although there are elements in Pakistan that would like to paint Jinnah with a secular brush, the fact of the matter is that he made numerous speeches between 1940 and 1947 where he assured the Muslim masses that the Pakistan he envisaged was an Islamic one. Not the narrative being promoted by DJinnah's secular friends !
It should be mentioned here that there is nothing intrinsic in Jamaat’s program that sets it on a collision course with the West. Even if there are divergent views on policies with Western governments, Jamaat makes a distinction between a government, on one hand, and its people and values on the other. This is the reason Jamaat banned its members from burning the flags of any country when protesting against any one government’s policies. It is, however, necessary to understand that we are situated in our own time and space. We cannot remain indifferent to events and incidents around us. The events in Afghanistan and Kashmir and the continuous “war on terror” over the last 15 years have directly affected the life of every Pakistani citizen. When you have more than 3 million refugees and another 1 million internally displaced persons in your country, you have to grapple with and respond to the situation. Jamaat has always been against foreign intervention in Afghanistan, be it by Soviet or NATO forces. During the Soviet intervention, Jamaat provided political support to the mujahideen and their struggle for the liberation of Afghanistan from foreign forces. Taqqiya being practiced here ?
I firmly believe that cordial relations between mainstream Islamist movements and the West can and should be developed. I end here with a quote from the analyst and expert on Islamist movements Graham Fuller: Cherry picking to suit your argument ?

"Blasphemy Epidemic" Spreads To POK Assembly

Opposition MPs tear up pro-PM resolution in Kashmir Assembly( and get accused of blasphemy !)
MUZAFFARABAD: Pandemonium was witnessed between the treasury and opposition members of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly when the opposition members tore up copies of agenda carrying a resolution in favour of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and walked out shouting ‘go Nawaz go’. Has Immy's party not yet "trademarked" this catchy anti - Ganja slogan (with the authorities) yet as a source of party revenue
Treasury members equated with blasphemy the tearing up of agenda, saying that it carried a resolution for finality of the Holy Prophet (SAW). However, the opposition members are of the view that they tore up a resolution in favour of Nawaz on on PanamaLeaks issue. Future anti-Ganja assembly members better watch for this insidious trick because it is possible that every piece of "paper" tabled in the Assembly will carry some reference to the finality of HP (SAW) and tearing the same will land you in trouble !
The speaker suspended the membership of six parliamentarians and formed a seven-member committee headed by his deputy to probe the matter. The opposition reacted strongly to the arrest of PTI workers and police torture on them that led to tension. Former prime minister Ch Majid, opposition leader Ch Yasin, Amir Ghafar, Sajid Khan, PTI’s Devan Muhiuddin and Muslim Conference’s Sagheer Chughtai tore up copies of agenda before throwing them up in the air. So, it appears that POK is now "Ganja Territory" Is it something to do with his so-called "Kashmiri pedigree"
He said a resolution for finality of the Prophet (SAW) was also part of the agenda copies of which were torn and thrown down on the floor which is an act of blasphemy, deliberate or otherwise. He said membership of the opposition leaders involved in it had been suspended till submission of inquiry report on this matter. He said all torn pieces had been sealed and put in custody and the inquiry committee would also listen to the point of the opposition members in question. He said the committee would submit its report in the light of the law and constitution. He said the opposition members could be disqualified if allegations were proved against them.He said the incident brought tears to the lawmakers. He said it was unprecedented in history and the House had taken note of this incident. He said this incident was a cause of shame for all. He said no political point scoring should be done on this matter.
So, once the Islami Jinni is out of the box , anything can technically happen. IMO, the next episode is being awaited eagerly

PS: Should not the "Assembly" devote its precious time to more important matters ( e.g. how to "liberate" Kashmir from "enemy hands" !)

Oxford Educated Imran Khan Makes A Fantastic Claim

Govt offered me Rs10b to stay mum on Panama case, claims Imran
The Express Tribune > Pakistan
PESHAWAR:
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan claimed on Tuesday that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had offered him Rs10 billion to back down from the Panamagate case. While addressing participants at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) in Peshawar, he said when PML-N government can offer me such a huge amount then one can only imagine what they will offer investigation organisations probing the Panamagate case.“We will not leave pursuing the PML-N government until the prime minister resigns,” he said.
He said the apex court’s decision has raised awareness among the people who supported Nawaz in the past as they now understand his reality.Nawaz Sharif had presented fake evidence in the Supreme Court, he said and added that Nawaz has made Qatri prince responsible for the wealth provided and used by Sharifs’ family abroad. He said Nawaz has no further evidence to prove he is innocent and now we (PTI) can build pressure on the investigation authorities to stop supporting the prime minister and his family. He said that everyone knows that Nawaz is stuck and should resign from office.
There is no doubt that the ( unwashed onlee ) Aam Abduls of KP Province will lap this up like honey, but is not the Kaptaan exposing himself to possible legal action by Ganja and his cronies ( unless he has "recorded the evidence" for such a scenario)

Pakistan helps Chinese banks who suffer from excess liquidity. :)

China bails out Pakistan with $1.2bn loans

Rising imports and falling exports and remittances revive threat of forex crisis

China’s money is a mixed blessing for Pakistan

By: Kiran Stacey, Farhan Bokhari and Henny Sender in Islamabad

China has increased its economic sway in Pakistan during the past year, providing more than $1bn in loans to help its neighbour stave off a currency crisis. The loans demonstrate the perilous fragility of Pakistan’s stocks of foreign currency, depleted in recent months by rising imports and falls in exports and remittances from Pakistanis abroad.

China’s financial help also underlines an increasingly close relationship at a time of strains between Pakistan and the US. Beijing is preparing to invest at least $52bn in Pakistan to build a highway, energy pipelines, power-generation facilities and industrial parks from the western port of Gwadar on the Gulf to the Chinese border to the north. But despite its expected benefits, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor infrastructure project is set to further deplete the foreign currency stocks, needed to pay contractors and suppliers. Figures from the State Bank of Pakistan show the country had $17.1bn of net reserves at the end of February, down from $18.9bn at the end of October and a peak of $25bn several years ago. This has forced the country to seek emergency loans from outside sources to repay older loans made in foreign currencies.

Of the $1.2bn from the Chinese institutions, $600m came from the government-run China Development Bank and $600m from the state-owned Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the only mainland bank with a branch in Pakistan. Policy banks such as CDB often act on behalf of the central bank. One Pakistani official said: “China keeps a very close eye on our economic trends and they’re happy to come to our help wherever needed.” But experts warn that Pakistan is likely to have to return to institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, to which it sought recourse in 2013, for further support.

Vaqar Ahmed, deputy executive director of the Sustainable Development Policy Institute in Islamabad, said: “Technically speaking we should have gone back to the IMF in January, but ministers are likely to try and wait until after the election [for parliament planned for 2018].” One member of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz told the Financial Times ministers were loath to turn to the IMF until after the election in an effort to limit the political fallout. “The IMF is a politically volatile issue in our country. If we go to the IMF to deal with our needs, that will send a very negative political signal and the opposition [parties] will use that against the government,” the person said. It was only last year that Pakistan cleared the IMF debt incurred in 2013, a repayment that led policymakers in Islamabad and abroad to express optimism about prospects for economic stability. Christine Lagarde, the head of the IMF, called it a “moment of opportunity” for the country.

Iran Again Rejects Paki Offer To Join "Muslim NATO" :D

Pakistan fails to convince Iran on Saudi-led alliance
ISLAMABAD - Pakistan has failed so far to convince Iran to positively consider the offer joining the Saudi-led military alliance, The Nation has learnt.Senior officials at the foreign ministry said that Pakistan had been making efforts to persuade Iran to join the multi-nation alliance.Iran, however, sees the Saudi-led coalition as an alliance of the Sunni states with some ‘hidden agenda’ instead of the joint efforts against terrorism. Iran and Iraq, two Shia-majority countries, are not members of the alliance. I want to stay neutral in this "inter-ummah" tiff, but I suspect that the Irani conclusion is correct
An official at the foreign ministry said that Pakistan had been trying to clarify its position and convince Iran on the genuineness of the Saudi alliance’s agenda. “We are continuing our efforts to satisfy Iran and tell them both Iran and Saudi Arabia are important for Pakistan. We are still hopeful of winning them over and making them part of the alliance,” he said.Earlier, Iranian Ambassador to Islamabad Mehdi Honardoost raised concerns over former army chief Raheel Sharif’s appointment as head of the Saudi-led military alliance. And those concerns should have been responded to by the Bad Sharif himself as he ( when he was COAS ) went "out of his way" to insult the Iranian President on his visit to Pakistan ! Now the deed is done and it is the Paki Govt who has been left to "clean up the diplomatic mess" !
Speaking to journalists in Islamabad recently, Ambassador Honardoost said Tehran had conveyed its concerns on General Sharif’s appointment as head of the military alliance. “This could impact the unity of the Muslims. We are naturally concerned about this issue,” he had said. The envoy said Pakistan did contact Iranian officials before issuing the NOC to General Sharif but this “did not indicate that Iran was satisfied with this decision or it had accepted the same.”Earlier, Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua said Pakistan had no tension with Iran adding the Saudi Arabia-led military alliance was not against any country but terrorism :(( Mouthing these words does not make it true !
Another official at the foreign ministry said Pakistan will continue efforts to make peace between Iran and Saudi Arabia. “In the near future, we could see all the Muslim countries on one table,” he anticipated. He should study the history of Malsi and cite one instance where the " where all the Muslim countries are on one table"
Defence analyst Major General Farooq Malik (Retd) said Pakistan could not refuse to support Saudi Arabia due to historic ties. “Pakistan and Saudi Arabia’s relationship is very important for both the countries. They have supported us in the past so there is little chance we will ever ditch them,” he said.
International affairs expert Dr Huma Baqai said Pakistan should continue efforts to settle Iran’s reservations. She said Pakistan was obviously part of the alliance to defeat terrorism.“The agenda is clear. The alliance is aimed at eliminating terrorism. It cannot be designed against any country. Pakistan is a friend to both Iran and Saudi Arabia,” she said. IMO, the Saudis have got the Pakis by the bxxls and if some press reports are to be believed, 5000 + Paki troops are already there at the Yemeni border !

A "Tale Of Caution" For Unemployed European And American Executive (For Hire !)

PIA sacks German CEO on account of corruption charges
A notification issued on Friday informed that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has sacked its acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bernd Hildenbrand, media sources have reported.According to the issued notification, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Nayyar Hayat has assumed the charge as acting CEO of the national flag-carrier.In addition, the government had restricted German national Hildenbrand from leaving the country due to the ongoing investigation involving corruption charges against Hildenbrand, which Hildenbrand has denied. In his defence, Hildenbrand is reported to have said that he is confident that he has done nothing wrong. In addition, he added that he took all decisions to the best of his ability and knowledge and were approved by the board of directors in compliance with the rules and regulations. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is currently investigating the scandals involving leasing of aircraft at higher than prevalent market rates from the Sri Lankan Airlines and selling of a worthy PIA A-310 aircraft to a German museum. As a result of this, PIA incurred losses of millions of dollars.Hildenbrand has been on a 15-day leave since April 6. His name had been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) barring him from travelling abroad. IMO, it is "very hard" for an European or an American to parachute himself and serve ( honesty ) in the murky and corrupt world of Paki business, trade and commerce. This "gentleman" may well be a victim of circumstances ( signing something without knowing what he is signing, relying 100% on false information provided by subordinates etc etc ). It is possible that the intervention of the German Govt may help him out of the country

PCB to sue BCCI for failure to honour bilateral series agreement
The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to sue Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as the Indian board has failed to honour its commitment and play a bilateral series in Pakistan, said PCB Executive Committee Chairman Najam Sethi in a tweet.
The series was one of six agreed between the PCB and BCCI under a Memorandum of Understanding signed
Suing on the basis of an MOU? Only a paki would do that.

No. 2 Paki Demagogue ( And Son-In - Law ) On Duty - 2017

I will bring looted money back, says Zardari :rotfl:

PS: Does he mean "money looted by him" or does he mean "money looted by Ganja Sharif" or does he mean both !

PPS: This is the same demagogue who , a few years ago, announced a "big donation" (which got "publicity ") on his visit to Ajmer Sharif , but the Dargah did not see the money , until "gently reminded" in writing a couple of times , before Dus Percenti ultimately "coughed up the money" to avoid future embarrassment to the "good name of Pakistan"

Another Case Of "Manufactured Evidence"

Video: ‘Taliban linked with RAW,' former spokesman confesses

Step # 2 : Prepare dossier and submit same to UN Sec Gen as "further proof of Indian intervention" . Make sure Fotu taken !
Step # 3 : ( onlee if no results obtained from # 2 !) Circulate Video to Paki Ambassadors abroad and task them to take it up with respective Govts !
Step # 4 : (onlee if results from 2 and 3 are zilch !) Send Sarkari delegation abroad with "competent " persons ( like Maulana Diesel , Senator (lotta ) Mushahid ) and play video in press conferences for the benefit of foreign media .

PS: There is an "element of risk" involved in "step # 4 " ; past experience suggests that there is "no guarantee of success"

Only the paki-eye-yesss-eye can accomplish such a monumental feat in a week or less. Not only get the "terrorist" to confess in detail to all the terrorist acts that occurred in bakistan the past ten years, then also get him to admit that the terror was unislamic (what else can it be), and lastly concede that India was somehow responsible. All the while say all this in flawless erdooooo with a smiley face in a heavily edited confessional video. Kulbhushan, any one?

De-Facto PM Nisar ( and right bxxl of Ganja !) To Meet Bajwa Over Dawn Leak Controversy

Nisar to meet COAS over probe into Dawn Leaks
Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has directed Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan to take all stakeholders into confidence regarding Dawn leaks while the premier has received the report of an inquiry committee formed to probe the news leaks on Wednesday.According to sources, the interior minister will meet with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and will privy to COAS pertaining to the contents of the report. It is pertinent to mention here that the story published in the Dawn newspaper on October 6, 2016 by journalist Cyril Almedia, stirred a major controversy last year resulting in Almeida coming under fire from the military and government and being temporarily placed on the Exit Control List (ECL).The report regarding a meeting of the National Security Committee alleged the existence of a rift between the military and the civilian government on the issue of tackling jihadi outfits.Later on, Pakistan Army's top commanders expressed serious concern over what they called "feeding of a false and fabricated story of an important security meeting", terming it a breach of national security. Earlier press reports speculated that the so-called leak was engineered by no less that" Abbaji's" favourite daughter Mariam Nawaz , who blurted out the contents of the same to Almeida, who reported the civil/military rift in his column at "Dawn"; the "poor" reporter, facing Raheel's backlash was ultimately forced to flee - to the Big Apple in Massaland, where he continued to "do his job" long distance, ridiculing, Ganja, Raheel and sometimes Pakiland ! ; he claims that he is back in Pakiland ( there are doubts !). One minister has already resigned in the fiasco; there were reports in the Karachi press that Tariq Fatemi ( An Urdu Speaking Top Diplomat in Isloo FO) has been "selected" by the Pakjabi Establishment to be the fall guy ( Fatemi has refused to resign, saying that he has done "nothing wrong" !). Raheel has now patched up with Badmash and in the process got some "good recommendations" for the Muslim NATO job
The government called it a 'fabricated' story and termed the "purported deliberations" during the security meeting as speculative, misleading, factually incorrect, and an "amalgamation of fiction and fabrication".
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar ( Ganja's Chief Money Launderer And Left bxxl !) has said that the government would publish the inquiry report, unlike findings of other commissions that have been under wraps in the past.( This "report" if published will not show Ganja or his family members or any of his "inner circle" in bad light !)
Earlier this month, Director General (DG) ISPR Major Gen Asif Ghafoor said the army, "like every Pakistani awaits a decision based on justice and merit". Next episode "eagerly awaited"

Tension At Iran- Pakistan Border In Balochistan

Eight Iranian guards dead in clash along Pakistan border
t least eight Iranian border guards were killed in clashes with armed rebels Wednesday on the frontier with Pakistan, state television IRIB said on its website. It said the clashes broke out in the Mirjaveh region of Sistan-Baluchistan province, without giving details. Would not be surprised if Pakistani "state or non-state actors" are involved !.
Iranian media reports that the Jaish al-Adl militant group, accused by Tehran of links to Al Qaeda, ( based in Pakiland  ) carries out regular attacks in Sistan-Baluchistan.
