Countries do not redraw others’ borders by force. A successful Russian invasion of Ukraine would rip up that norm
The Irony of this ex-colonial power wagging a finger at other countries redrawing borders is clearly lost on these bring-back-the-raj losers that run the economist.

Royal crockery ruined by Chinese firm's misprint celebrating Queen's 'Platinum Jubbly'.
Commemorative plates, mugs, cups and saucers printed with the words 'Platinum Jubbly' are being flogged for a knockdown price in a gaffe reminiscent of storyline straight out of legendary comedy Only Fools and Horses.
Apparently all the Chinese students bankrolling UK universities has not helped their English skills. :rotfl:

Liz Truss, who is due to travel to Moscow once she recovers from coronavirus, told the BBC’s Sunday Morning show that “we are supplying and offering extra support into our Baltic allies across the Black Sea”.

Zakharova noted that the Baltic nations of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania lie off the Baltic Sea, not the Black Sea, which is hundreds of miles to the south.

“The Baltic countries are called so because they are located precisely off the coast of this [Baltic] sea. Not the Black [Sea],” the Russian official wrote on Facebook. “If anyone needs to be saved from anything, then it is the world from the stupidity and ignorance of Anglo-Saxon politicians.”
Another Geography lesson Mother Russia style !

Lord Ahmed who attempted to rape a young girl and sexually assault a boy under 11 jailed for five years
Peer and former politician Lord Nazir Ahmed has been jailed for five years and six months for the attempted rape of a young girl and sexually assaulting a boy under 11 in the 1970s.
The 64-year-old, who has resigned from the House of Lords but retains the title Lord Ahmed of Rotherham, was found guilty at Sheffield Crown Court in January of two counts of attempted rape and one of buggery.
Ahmed’s two older brothers Mohammed Farouq, 71, and Mohammed Tariq, 66, were also charged with indecent assault in relation to the same boy that Ahmed abused.
Both men were deemed unfit to stand trial, but a jury found that they did the acts alleged.
Ahmed had previously denied all the charges

Totally, Avtar Singhji. A look at the world map shows the chrislamo-commies are 4/5 done with this task, and India/China are the holdovers. Another century should do the job.

These are just the token brown faces to give the impression that the racist colonial elite in charge of the west has gotten past its racism, but Indians should know better. These are the same people creating war and misery all over the planet -- their mentality could be seen in their response to helping poorer countries in the face of the pandemic. That is who they are -- countries that were colonized by these anglo-saxon scum need to remember it -- US's attitudes to the hindu majority in India is identical to the british colonial view of hindus in India. Something to remember.

Sunak is just a front for the financial elite, homegrown Gungadin, he is managing the economy like he would manage a hedge fund as long as they get their fees it is all OK.

It's interesting that Preeti Patel is not in the picture to replace BoJo.

She being home secretary should have much better political hold on the government and the party.

Chetak-ji, you have a good point there. Rishi Sunak is a politician, and a pretty canny one at that. What he will be thinking is

“What can [insert name of country] do for me” not “What can I do for [insert name of country]”.

If he does become PM, he will still rightly be celebrated by Indians all over the world.

What an outrageous slur.. I demand that you apologies to all nut jobs out there..

Anyway the rightwing Tory press and many of their racist supporters would never tolerate a brown face being PM.. It'll probably be someone equally odious like Gove.. And Johnson currently sees Sunak as a threat so he's probably plotting his downfall right now.. Preeti Patel and Nadine Dorries are only in the cabinet as they support Brexit..

Indeed , i would think so too..what would be interesting is that how they go about it.. leaving all the things like being a nut job, running economy like a hedge fund and all..the very core of it is racism., lets see how this is played out. I support Rishi in the sense he is efficient at what he does, still being a hindu and following his customs,(and being proud of it) how many of us outside India does that?

From the article:
Ms Abrahams said she wanted to pay a private visit to her sister-in-law's cousin and aunt, who recently lost a family member, in Delhi - before then travelling with Ms Uppal to Pakistan for an official visit with the APPG.
Who are these relatives of jihadi Dabba Abrahams that live in Delhi? GOI would do well to identify and keep tabs on them. 10 to 1 they are SIMI/Indian-Mujahedin supporting scum.

China shut down UK markets to save a chinese firm -- I don't see why these USA/UK are so sure that they have China by the hearts and minds. China has plays too, against them. Two evil, predatory "empire-building" countries of the day -- one nominally capitalist and the other nominally communist, but both playing the same power games.

https://twitter.com/BaldingsWorld/statu ... 2021760004
Let me repeat that: the LME a major global commodity exchange SHUT DOWN trading in nickel so a Chinese company wouldn't go bankrupt. The losses haven't vanished. You know what the real risk is? The counterpart to the Chinese trade could very validly go after both the exchange. And the banks. They are sitting on some gains that are ENORMOUS. This is going to be litigated for a long time and not just against the Chinese nickel company. Remember that global markets are being shut down to avoid one Chinese company going bankrupt. TGIF right?
This "lawsuit" is not going to go anywhere would be my guess. That bank is going down for sure.

“High Powered” United Kingdom delegation to India called off.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/20 ... called-off
A high-powered cross-party UK delegation to India led by the Commons Speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, and his deputy has been called off at the last minute in a sign of a growing rift over India’s refusal to distance itself from the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
How very quaint.

It just shows their double standards.
The western allies have just withdrawn in chaos and disgrace from Afghanistan in what was a humiliating defeat orchestrated by the paks. 3, 502 western troops killed by pakistan, yet why no similar sanctions against pak ?

The need pak to contain India.

In true Paki style, the headline seems to imply that it was called off by the UK, but when you get into the weeds of the article, it seems like it was called off by the Indian side :rotfl:

That's right. The Indian High Commission objected to the makeup of the ten-member team that was scheduled to travel to India. I would like to knbow who was on the team and what their history is vis a vis India (and Cashmere).

Just saw a WA forward clip of a Sky news interview of Rishi Sunak. The interviewer kept on asking him that his wife was on board of Infosys that did business in Russia and has offices there and that Rishis family was ” benefiting from Putins regime”.

Me thinks grounds are being laid to act against Indian companies and this is a warning shot

Why would Indian companies care? This is directed against Rishi Sunak. Let him and his wife figure out a way to treat her Infosys involvement at arms length, such as by quitting the board.
