https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/ ... n-28582320 Rishi Sunak plots clampdown on foreign students - but it'll 'bankrupt' universities

students in low grade uni and in low grade courses will be blocked from coming from India: UK compensates for uni losses by charging overseas students a fortune, if implemented this decision will close down many unis in UK however NoS stats dept has said Indian students are coming to UK then bringing dependents. They should come in boats at Calay & Dover and then we will welcome them

Perhaps its to retain UK's reputation as a high quality higher education destination. Its good that Indian students will escape getting suckered into paying lot of money to poor quality univs. Illegal immigration policy has other considerations, but its driven mostly by some perceived need to conforming with some poorly thought out lefty expectations, now reinforced by Ummah expansion forces.

these ingrates conveniently forget that in WWI, over one million Indian troops fought as part of britshit's imperial war effort, and India again sent over two and a half million soldiers to fight under British command for the Allied powers against the Axis powers during WWII. The sacrifices of the Indian dead and wounded are callously brushed aside.

It was Indian money then and Indian money now that drives this "nation of shopkeepers"...

is it because of a sanctimoniously drafted FTA that is badly bogged down and that may be going nowhere

or is it a consequence of..... "India's decision to stand non-aligned over the Russia-Ukraine crisis", a stance not liked by any of the outraged goras who cannot comprehend how a country "like" India can dare oppose the collective will of the goras

External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar, on Friday justified India's neutral stance on the Russia-Ukraine crisis and said that he is not running the country's foreign policy for the demands of 'other people'.

He was referring to India's decision to stand non-aligned over the Russia-Ukraine crisis amid pressure from the West to take sides or be judged by history.

"Sometimes, I have lived with things that you (West) did. Now, Live with it (India's foreign policy)," he said, while underlining that India's stance is a more 'serious view' of the Russia-Ukraine crisis

Around 3.5 lakh Indian soldiers died in WW1 &2 for the Britshits. No compensation was made to the families of the dead.

Let us not forget 80-90 million Indians who died in famines caused by Brishit Raj in India. Famines like the one in Guntur district of AP are never mentioned. The famous famine is the Bengal famine. However throughout India there were many famines over a period of time. Famines were a great technique to ship able bodied Indians to faraway places for indentured labor.

The Britshits owe India 300 T pounds in reparations/compensation amounts.

Prof R. J. Rummel of University of Hawaii has documented mass killings over the ages. Over 1 Billion people died. Rummel notes that up to 13th century India had no mass killings.

British doctors make a beeline for Australia & Canada, UK is filling it up with doctors from Pakistan, Africa & Gulf
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/20 ... g-britons/

Figures from the General Medical Council show that nearly 10,000 doctors left the UK medical workforce last year. Previous analysis indicates that around half plan to move overseas, the GMC said.

“Brain drain is a nice term but it's more than that. It's an exodus, a mass exodus of not just doctors but healthcare professionals,” says Dr Latifa Patel, representative body chair of the British Medical Association and a junior doctor herself.

“If you put it in the context of what we're lacking in the NHS at the moment, it's even more worrying. NHS England alone has 132,000 unfilled vacancies. Between 10 and 15,000 of those are doctors,” she says.

From the article:

When the US state department recently told a court that the Saudi Arabian crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, should have immunity in a lawsuit over the murder of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi, it portrayed its argument as a legal and not moral position. By way of evidence, it pointed to a rogues’ gallery of foreign leaders previously afforded similar protection. Nestling between Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe, who, it was claimed, assassinated political rivals, and Congo’s Joseph Kabila, whose security detail was accused of assaulting protesters in Washington, was India’s Narendra Modi.

Dropping Mr Modi into such a list was no accident

Capitalism and extreme poverty: A global analysis of real wages, human height, and mortality since the long 16th century

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/a ... 0X22002169

"If we measure excess mortality over England’s 16th- and 17th-century average death rate, we find 165 million excess deaths in India between 1880 and 1920 (Appendix V). This figure is larger than the combined number of deaths from both World Wars, including the Nazi holocaust."

"Similarly, Indian GDP per capita increased by 27% from 1870 to 1921 (Bolt & van Zanden, 2020). Yet during that time, British colonial policy induced serial famines that killed tens of millions of people, with life expectancy collapsing by 20%, “a deterioration in human health probably without precedent in the subcontinent’s long history of war and invasion”"

and solid support for war on 'aggressor' aka Russia
just go thru their rpress, op eds, reader comments, and all of them are drowned in BBC CNN prapanch.Russia has attacked a sovereign country, must be defeated, we will take Ukrops (but not MEs/Africans), omg XX Ukr etc all over. (several Ukr women/girls have become pregnant in 'no benefits' arrangement) Brits truly believe in legacy of James Bond in Russia.

Are you saying that they would not strike if BoJo or Truss was in power considering how the Conservatives has run down public services. Having had the benefit of the NHS more power to them I say.
Plus Sunak does not become any more competent just because he is Indian.

This is Aljazeera, but still something that needs to be read
How British colonialism killed 100 million Indians in 40 years
Recent years have seen a resurgence in nostalgia for the British empire. High-profile books such as Niall Ferguson’s Empire: How Britain Made the Modern World, and Bruce Gilley’s The Last Imperialist, have claimed that British colonialism brought prosperity and development to India and other colonies. Two years ago, a YouGov poll found that 32 percent of people in Britain are actively proud of the nation’s colonial history.
According to research by the economic historian Robert C Allen, extreme poverty in India increased under British rule, from 23 percent in 1810 to more than 50 percent in the mid-20th century. Real wages declined during the British colonial period, reaching a nadir in the 19th century, while famines became more frequent and more deadly. Far from benefitting the Indian people, colonialism was a human tragedy with few parallels in recorded history.
While the precise number of deaths is sensitive to the assumptions we make about baseline mortality, it is clear that somewhere in the vicinity of 100 million people died prematurely at the height of British colonialism. This is among the largest policy-induced mortality crises in human history. It is larger than the combined number of deaths that occurred during all famines in the Soviet Union, Maoist China, North Korea, Pol Pot’s Cambodia, and Mengistu’s Ethiopia.
Our research finds that Britain’s exploitative policies were associated with approximately 100 million excess deaths during the 1881-1920 period. This is a straightforward case for reparations, with strong precedent in international law. Following World War II, Germany signed reparations agreements to compensate the victims of the Holocaust and more recently agreed to pay reparations to Namibia for colonial crimes perpetrated there in the early 1900s. In the wake of apartheid, South Africa paid reparations to people who had been terrorised by the white-minority government.

Are you serious??
The nurses are effectively asking for a cost of living increase as they have not had a significant raise in years. The NHS management and top brass have been doling out raises to their top management regularly. If you see the article below, you will get a better idea of the situtation.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... -year.html
I know its the Daily mail, but, still facts are facts. I had also heard an interview of a NHS union rep about the raises the NHS bosses gave to themselves last couple of years stating the dangerous nature of work, where they themselves sat at home and the work was done by docs and other staff.
